Stylish restaurant where dogs are welcome, offering brunch, cocktails & Southern California plates.
"Getaway weekends are common in Palm Springs, which makes finding places where all of your friends can comfortably eat together imperative—particularly for brunch. Put Boozehounds at the top of your big group dining list. The space has a massive outdoor patio, a four-sided bar inside, and semi-private seating areas. In other words, no group is too large at this bar/restaurant in the Uptown Design District. As far as food goes, we like the Filipino-leaning dishes the most, like the perfectly simmered chicken adobo and biscuits with longanisa gravy. Lunch, dinner, and Happy Hour menus cover a ton of ground, too. So everyone will find something they like." - brant cox
"Don’t overlook this dog-friendly restaurant on the northwest end of Palm Springs. Boozehounds’ menu has everything needed during a relaxing visit to the desert with garlic noodles, a Filipino-inspired rice bown with lumpia, 48-hour marinated seabass fish and chips, and a hamachi crudo. Weekend brunch is equally creative with Boozehounds’ monkey bread french toast and the gnocchi waffle. The forbidden rice pudding is required." - Mona Holmes, Eater Staff
"What's in a name? In this case, at least, there’s a tongue-in-cheek précis: a dog-friendly cocktail bar. Diners and their canine confrères can enter a spacious enclosed patio area through a separate "doggy door," which offers access to an additional menu of bowls and treats for Fido and Spot. The stylish indoor space remains a humans-only domain, where the focus shifts to a top shelf drinks menu (replete with dog-themed nomenclature, naturally), as well as an appealingly eclectic bar menu that spans both snacks and more substantial fare. Standbys like truffled parmesan fried and blistered shishitos are nothing to sniff at, but less expected items like Japanese-inflected tuna tataki, Filipino adobo or Korean rice cakes offer an exciting change of pace." - Michelin Inspector

As far as food goes, we like the Filipino-leaning dishes the most, like the perfectly-simmered adobo chicken and crackly pork lumpia, but all the menus (they have different ones for brunch, lunch. dinner, and Happy Hour) are large and cover a ton of ground, so everyone will find something they like. And that includes dogs, who get their own separate food menu as well." - Brant Cox
