Every Sunday, the temple’s back lot turns into a community Thai street-food market—grills, sweets, and regional specialties from local families. Covered widely by local outlets; it’s cash only and sells out early.

Google
A place full of peace and spiritual beauty. I had the opportunity to visit this Buddhist temple in Dallas, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful — perfect for meditation or simply taking a break from everyday stress. The decoration is stunning: golden statues, fresh flowers, detailed murals, and traditional architecture make you feel as if you were in Thailand. The monks were very kind and respectful, and I felt welcome at all times. I even had the chance to witness part of a ceremony, which was very interesting and enriching. I definitely recommend visiting this place, whether you are a Buddhist practitioner or just looking for a space of reflection and harmony. A true hidden gem in Dallas!

I'm so glad we finally made it to this place. The food was really good, reasonable prices, I loved the atmosphere and the peace you feel as you walk around. There's a lot of places where to sit and relax. Parking was a little difficult, but you can either park on the side of the road or inside of the property if you're lucky enough to find a spot. The little walk is so worth it.

The food was great! Some vendors have venmo but its best to bring cash for more options. The garden is also well maintained and very peaceful with flowers, a little pond, sitting areas, a small library and some statues. The temple outside and in are detailed and the overseer was very welcoming! I highly recommend coming here for the food and peaceful experience. They even have a pamphlet of the buddha story.

This is one of those places I’d recommend everyone visit at least once. On Sundays, the temple opens its doors to the public and lots of folks come down to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and enjoy Thai street food. Be aware that the food stalls largely only accept cash. Parking is a bit of a pain given its location but not impossible.

Temple is really beautiful with a wonderful ambience, definitely 5 stars for that part. We had our food at Chef Pong, though experiences may vary at different vendors there. Our Pad Thai lacked flavor and sauces, making it quite dry. The red chicken curry had peas and carrots (not typical Thai vegetables) and was not very flavorful. Prices were similar to restaurant rates, but the taste didn’t quite match the value.

Google
Peaceful place with amazing culture and food The Buddhist Temple of Dallas is such a special and peaceful space in the city. I especially love coming on Sundays for the Thai Market—it’s a hidden gem! The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with authentic Thai street food, desserts, and drinks all prepared by community members. It’s not just about the food (which is incredible)—it’s a place to experience Thai culture, kindness, and community spirit. The temple grounds are serene and well cared for, and everyone I’ve met here has been warm and respectful. Whether you're here for quiet reflection or to enjoy a delicious Sunday outing, this place is truly one-of-a-kind. Highly recommend making a visit, especially for the market!

Google
Loved being here on a Sunday, visiting the temple and enjoying great food. Loved learning about the temple and seeing a sacred lotus 🪷 What a great community, cannot believe I did not know about the temple before as it was built long ago. The food stalls are absolutely amazing - from the thai teas, to meats on skewers, boat noodles , and much more 🧋🍜❤️

Google
Beautiful and calm temple and a market on Sunday. Decent items with moderate pricing.Should Checkout in DFW if arriving on Sunday . Parking is across the road and free. Temple also serves some food maybe , I saw few people having it but market had good thai options at good prices

Yelp
most lively Thai temple I've ever visited. tons on food, drink, and snack stands selling authentic thai dishes for cheap. i had a thai tea from one of the drink stands and beef kabab which was so delicious, juicy and so cheap. would definitely recommend to come visit on a sunday if you are looking for a lively food market. the temple building itself is gorgeous with beautiful architecture detail and stunning glass art.

Yelp
Once again Yelp brought me to the Buddhist Center of Dallas. I was looking for a Sunday market with food and the temple has offerings of really authentic and cheap eats! Rain or shine they are open with stalls of vendors that benefit the temple. If you want to learn about Thai and/or buddhist culture this is the place to be. There are two Sunday sessions provided: 10:30am and 1:00pm for those that want to join upstairs for chanting. You're guaranteed to experience a variety of all major buddhist holidays here too. Some highlights include Songkran, Loy Krathong, Kathina, music events and other opportunities for making merit. Their Facebook page is the best place for all of the announcements and they have translations in English as well. Cash only so make sure you have enough to spend here. Most items are under $10 and you'll never be spending a fortune. If you come by during a major holiday be sure to check out the vendors too. All proceeds benefit the temple.

Yelp
Decided to check the Buddhist temple out on a Sunday due to their Thai food stalls. We arrived around 930AM, and we were able to find parking close but it was starting to get packed. They have a plethora of stalls offering various Thai foods. They didn't have many vegan or vegetarian options but my friend was able to make do. I ended up purchasing the two skewers of chicken satay, veggie eggrolls, a tofu pad Thai, and hibiscus tea. I thoroughly enjoyed the skewers but the rest was just ok. The pad Thai didn't really have much flavor. I did sample my friend's fried banana and that was lovely! Bring CASH for purchasing as they don't accept card payments. We also were able to tour inside of the temple and learn a little bit about Buddhism. They really have a beautiful spot and opening their doors to the community is an interesting experience!

Yelp
Good food and beautiful atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming will come back again hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhbhhhhhhhh
google avatar

Harshita S.

Yelp
This market is awesome! The shrimp fried rice, pad thai, pad see ew and thai tea with boba were absolutely delicious! The chicken skewers were ok but if you don't eat either meats, all pork/beef/chicken skewers are cooked in the same grill and are touching either so that's something to think about. Mango sticky rice was the best final bite. Also try this Lod Chong Singapore dessert which was really good (sorry if I spelled it wrong).

Yelp
**Wonderful Cultural Experience at Buddhist Temple of Dallas** My wife, mother, and I had a fantastic day at the Buddhist Temple of Dallas. The atmosphere was serene, complemented by delightful music and the bustling energy of Thai street vendors behind the temple. We sampled various dishes, all of which were delicious, but the standout was the pork boat noodles. The savory-sweet broth transported me back to my childhood in Thailand. Dessert was a highlight as well. The mango and sweet rice was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, while the grilled sweet rice toast with taro or banana was a delightful mix of savory and sweet. Overall, we loved our experience and highly recommend visiting the Buddhist Temple of Dallas, especially if you're in the area for the weekend. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Thai culture and cuisine.

Yelp
I came to visit the Sunday Thai market. The temple and center is absolutely beautiful from the outside. The Thai market is setup nicely. I walked through all the stalls before deciding on what I wanted. I had to get the meat on the sticks and I tried both pork and chicken. I was happy with both! I got an iced Thai coffee - rich and creamy. They had custard buns with the cutest design on it. Loved the taste of these too Sesame balls one with mung bean the other taro they both tasted pretty much alike but I loved the taro especially. Lastly I tried the mango sticky rice and it's the bomb! Definitely head over here on a Sunday. I got there about 9:40 and still plenty of items.

Yelp
An absolutely incredible culinary journey. On Sundays the temple has a Thai food market. Got here at 10AM and it was already busy. By 11 it was nearly shoulder to shoulder. The BBQ (at the far left/back behind the temple when I visited) was my favorite. The satay chicken was divine. The pork egg rolls had the perfect crunch. The pad Thai was some of the best I've had. Not pictured is the Thai coffee and chai tea caramel bars- both items themselves warrant another visit. There were a handful of other vendors I wasn't able to try as I was very full, but I can't wait to visit again. Well worth the 40 minute drive. I wasn't able to go into the temple this visit, but caught a peep. Absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to return! Make sure you bring cash!

Yelp
We went to Sunday Thai food market today and throughly enjoyed it. The food was fantastic and plenty of shade out of the sun. It's from 9am-3pm but a lot of vendors sell out by noon so get there a little before. It's cash only so bring plenty of cash and a bag for taking food home. Most places will give in to go or ask if you want to go or for here. You can then go to the gardens to enjoy the food. We will definitely go back.

Yelp
My first time to a Thai Food market @The Buddhist Temple. The food, ambiance, and service were all great. Sitting around the Koi pond and the beautiful garden was very serene. A great place to take the family and relax! https://www.dallasites101.com/blog/post/head-to-the-buddhist-temple-of-dallas-for-a-thai-market-every-sunday/

Yelp
Omg this place is amazing!!! Beautiful temple! There's so many Thai things to try here! Everything was really good! The papaya salad is hella spicy so definitely ask them to only put in a few chilies. Come early cause parking does fill up at the school nearby! There is also street parking!
google avatar

Tracey Z.

Yelp
First of all this temple is stunningly beautiful. The outside architecture is so intricate and elegant, I had no idea such a temple existed in Dallas. Secondly the Sunday street food fare is busy but we'll worth any wait. The food is so fresh and authentic. You will see some local Thai cuisine that you can only find in the street market of thailand. Truly a spectacular homage to the homeland. Food is delicious! Bring cash!

Yelp
The Thai Sunday market is a popular spot to check out. There's parking at a rec center up the street, there are about 15 or so vendors and while a lot of them serve the same thing, all of the flavors different and it's cool and the taste varies. Some of the items can be very fish sauce forward so it can be different id you're not used to it. It's best to get there before get there before 11am but the lines move quick. Everything is cash only and most are the dishes are 1-8 bucks. It's best to go with a group to share the food. Some of the vendors are prepackaged items so bring a bag to carry containers. Dress comfortable, seating can be tough so walk and eat. There's a vendor who serves soups that I take to go. There's also a vendor who makes papaya salad fresh and one that makes fried rice and pad Thai to order.

Yelp
Beautiful karma Visit on Sunday for a superb culinary journey. Food for sale in the courtyard. Buddhist Center is located off Forest Lane near TI. It's a 20-minute walk from the Forest Lane train station.

Yelp
Stopped by to check out the grounds. I guess I'll miss the Thai Food adventures everyone on Yelp raves about. No stands selling food on a Saturday afternoon. Nonetheless, it's a must see if you're in the area. Very peaceful and serene. Great place to meditate and to soak up some spiritual or Buddhism vibes. I would aim for a morning visit to get the most out of the experience.
google avatar

Victoria E.

Yelp
Great Sunday open food market, many stalls set up on property selling $10.00 or less Thai food items. Hot noodle soup and much more. Cash only lines can get long, but worth the wait.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a spiritual place where you find peace, serenity and meditation. There is a wonderful Thai Festival once a year in May. From their website: SUNDAY THAI MARKET Every Sunday from 9am-3pm, the backside of the Temple fills with more than a dozen food stalls cooking up all sorts of authentic and unique Thai dishes. Everyone is so welcoming and excited to share their authentic Thai street foods.
google avatar

Yelp
this place is more like a 4.25 out of 5 stars. I don't live near this place, so it was quite of a drive to get here on a sunday morning. (definitely try and come early, as some items will sell out. ) We got so many things to try and enjoyed it 100%. The best items were the mango sticky rice as well as the meat/pork skewers. i moved to DFW from southern california, and back home in a city called chino, we had something similar. Coming to this buddhist temple brought back some good memories. lots of different stalls selling all sorts of random delicious thai eats. a word of caution, normally i love papaya salad, but when we ordered it at a stall, it was way too spicy for me. I could only eat like 2-3 bites and had to throw away the whole dish. :( It does get hot during the summer days, and it also gets packed. There are a few tables to sit down, but i'm assuming if you come later it the day (probably closer to lunch time) it'll be really packed, and you might not find a place to sit and eat. I didn't ask if the vendors took credit card, i assume they don't... so make sure you bring cash.
google avatar

Shunkecia L.

Yelp
Have you been to the Thai Food Festival at the Buddhist Temple of Dallas? If not, you've gotta go! There is so much food to choose from - fried chicken, noodles, sausages, beef, pork, stir fry, EVERYTHING! Just make sure you bring cash as they are cash only and get there early if you want a seat!
google avatar

Yelp
SUNDAYS! My goodness you must visit here on Sundays with cash handy. There's a Thai street food market and it's a hidden gem with some of the most authentic food that one can experience. Tie in the gorgeous temple and wow.
google avatar

Christine D.

Yelp
I like their food market, but a bit pricey. Their food wasn't any better than any Thai restaurants. As a Thai person myself, the food could have been better for the price.
google avatar

Joey W.

Yelp
I first came here almost three years ago when one of my friends showed me this place because he said the Thai food here is the best. They have different stalls of authentic Thai food (like the dishes you don't see in Thai restaurants) on Sundays here. The Thai food tasted almost like the food I had in Thailand. I highly recommend coming here if you're missing Thailand.

Spp D.

Yelp
I have been here a many times and have been to many different Thai buddhist temples across the US and in Thailand. There are deep rooted politics here at this temple. The people that run this place (not the monks but the board) does not follow true buddhist teachings. There's in fighting in at this holy place (holy since it's a temple). There's supposed to be peace and are supposed to be able to provide offerings to the monks and buddha to make merit but this place has favoritism, and does not accept offerings that is not to their (the board of the temple) liking. Stay away from here. There's other Thai food around Dallas that is commercial. The food stalls here are all in fighting and not peaceful. Keep in mind this fighting and favoritism is on holy ground. What a disgrace this place is to Thailand and buddhist teachings.

Brian E.

Yelp
Been trying to make it over there for years and finally went today. I give the temple and gardens 5 stars. The food on the other hand was mediocre. The best being some fish sauce wings, the worst was the vendor that charged $12 for kra poa, it was a terrible value. One serving spoon of meat with maybe 1.5 scoops of rice with a nasty cold egg on top. Got a couple of dishes to take home including a papaya salad, they didn't close the container properly so all of the juice ran out and ruined some other food. Don't go with high expectations of great food, or it being speedy even though it's all precooked. Hopefully the lion share of profits go to support the temple.
google avatar

Aileen E.

Yelp
This was on a Sunday-they open to he public for you to try Thai food and visit the temple.
google avatar

Cri S.

Yelp
The food stalls they have on sundays are mediocre and overpriced. If you decide to go, be wary of the $1 skewers they advertise as they are just a quarter of a stick of meat. Literally the size of a quarter for $1. Definitely an insulting slap to the consumer. Most of the food is cold or lacking appropriate flavor. Desserts taste like they came from a can or overprocessed. Would not recommend. Never again.

Phyo Mon Thein T.

Yelp
Great food. If you wanna try asian food, specifically Thai food, they have food vendors every Sunday.
google avatar

Stacey R.

Yelp
This Thai food experience is amazing! My daughter & I went today and tried so many delicious dishes. The grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. The temple with white marble everywhere is a must to tour. We went inside and there were a lot of food dishes inside and we weren't sure what to make of that. Free? Don't know. Seemed to be and there were a few monks there being served as well. It was nice to just sit and observe. Street parking. Cash only. Didn't see any dishes over $10. The smell when you get out of your car is mouth watering!
google avatar

Ray B.

Yelp
Impossible to describe, you have to visit to comprehend all of possible food selections available. Super crowded when we went and very hot but the food we selected was excellent. So many choices. Seating is very limited, many were eating standing up. Parking also can be a challenge. Have patience, it's well worth the effort.
google avatar

Yelp
Bring CASH for street vendor type stop for food on Sundays 10-2 is a must! No shorts allowed in the temple. The Thai spicy at these vendors are VERY spicy so be prepared. I'm Korean and absolutely LOVE spicy food so this was right up my alley but I honestly could have used a bit more, too! We had a combination of foods and the only downside is that it is outside and HOT in Dallas, they did their best by having umbrellas and fans around. Definitely will be back...in the fall or winter! All the foods we had were flavorful and delicious. Authentic to the core, right? The papaya salad and pork skewers were really yummy with the sticky rice. We also had combination plates at a couple of the vendors and one of my favorites was the Panang curry. Pad Thai was probably one of the best I've had (maybe because it was so fresh?) and the basil fried rice was pretty spot on as far as flavor but I have had better. You can also buy Thai basil and Thai peppers and prepared foods, too!
google avatar

Stephen J.

Yelp
If you haven't been here you are truly missing out on some of the best Thai dishes in the Dallas region. From their selection, pricing, and the fact it benefits the temple; there are plenty of reasons to check this place out. This is outdoors so be prepared for the heat if you're going during the summer months. The temple itself is beautiful but a word to the wise: if you want to go inside it do not wear shorts. Male or female as it is not customary to expose that much skin in their holy place. Outside you are perfectly fine but just a heads up. The Vendors are all along the back of the temple so you can wear shorts there if you're just going to eat. I cannot do it justice to describe the offerings they have there. The easiest thing I can say is to think of your favorite Thai dish and they will have it and then some that you haven't tried before. The prices are super reasonably for the quality that you get. They offer seating but it is limited on busier days so come early if you want to some seats. I truly recommend this place. You are giving back to your community and also getting some great food.

Yelp
Review for the weekly Sunday food market. Second time that I've been here. The first was a long time ago. CASH ONLY. various stands with a mix of Thai food. A few of the stands serve the same things... similar prices across all. Around $10 for a dish and it's a decent portion! thai tea for $3 but they ran out maybe around a bit after noon. I got this pork dish with some chilis. No idea what it was (menu was in thai.). It wasn't prepared fresh but still tasted good. There are some places that have freshly prepared food! Mango sticky rice (big thing) for $10. You can get a smaller for $6. tried thai pumpkin custard for the 1st time ($5). It was ok... never had it before so didn't know what to expect. Not a big pumpkin fan i suppose. I don't really like pumpkin pie either. No shorts in the temple and it's closed after 11:30a (that's what the sign said when I was there at least.) Definitely an interesting experience in the area. A must if you like thai food!
google avatar

Yelp
I visited this place on a Sunday, not knowing what to expect. My friend did tell me that they sell really good Thai street food though (only on Sundays). The grounds are beautiful! There are Buddha statues, a small waterfall, and koi pond to admire. We also checked out the temple, which was smaller than others that I've been to, but had nice artwork adorning the walls and ceiling. The glass stained paintings were really neat! Someone asked me if I was Thai when I was inside LOL. There were about 10 vendors outside in the back selling food and their profit goes towards the temple. Remember to bring cash since they don't accept credit cards. Since we were going to eat afterwards, we only bought a few beef skewers and a combination plate from another vendor. A different vendor was selling cute character buns, but we didn't get anything from them. I was told that there's a lady here that makes the best papaya salad, but unfortunately she wasn't there that day. The skewers took a while to be grilled, but they were worth the wait. They were very tasty and delicious! The combination plate was also pretty good. I added some of their spicy sauce for the extra kick it needed. I hope that the next time I come back, the papaya salad lady is here!

Yelp
Beautiful and authentic Thai Buddhist Temple in the heart of Dallas. Lovely to visit every Sunday. Thai food stalls provide a variety of delicious Thai foods you won't find in restaurants.
google avatar

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
I wish I had known about this Sunday Thai food market sooner since it's rarer to find this kind of Asian street food ambiance in Dallas! It can be hard to find a table, but eating on the back pavillion next to the pond with the beautiful temple in front made the meal extra memorable. It's impossible to try eveything on one Sunday, so we can't wait to visit again (and next time I'll remember to bring cash)! Highlights: - House Special Noodles: This dish was the star of my meal. To me it tasted like a spicier, more savory pad thai, and the accompanying meat (comes with beef, chicken AND pork) plus fried egg added flavor and texture. I know I'm going to be tempted to get this every time I visit! - Thai Tea: Maybe it was the Texas summer heat, but the thai tea here seemed extra smooth and really hit the spot with the perfect sweetness/flavor. Be sure to grab one early because it sold out midday when we went
google avatar

M S.

Yelp
On Sundays the temple hosts a street food fair that features super legit, authentic Thai street food. You'll still find some familiar dishes like pad Thai, Thai tea, and boat noodles but there are lots of unique foods regular Thai restaurants don't serve. One stall literally only had pictures with Thai names. We weren't super adventurous and got the spicy shrimp stick, chicken satay, samosas, and boat noodles. Everything was super flavorful, spicy and just so good! The squid was dipped in green chili sauce which was a lot spicier than expected. Samosas we're in the style of Trader Joe's mind but way better. The boat noodles and satay had aromatic curry based flavors. Will definitely be back to try the rest!

Missy C.

Yelp
Why anyone would give the temple of Sunday Walking Market less than 5 stars is beyond me. What an amazing experience...... and I've been to Thailand to the Walking Markets.... Dallas is gifted to have such an amazing temple.
google avatar

Bodin K.

Yelp
If you want REAL thai food, you come here. Once you arrive at the temple, go on to the back and it's setup like street food. I wouldn't leave here without getting a bowl of boat noodles. The little shop they have is setup just like it would look in thailand. They have different choices of noodles and meats you can pick; I recommend the combination, they really load it up with everything. I also picked up some thai coffee and a mixed fruit smoothie; both were really excellent. I am really happy this place exists. Lets not forget the nice sights to see around the temple as well. Great for a stroll and you can go meditate as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Best legit thai food - check em out on Sundays from 10a to 2p! Cash and street parking only! Must haves - pork skewers, papaya salad, fish balls.....actually, everything here is good! Honestly, if i could, i would try everything here! Lol Don't waste any time - check this place out!

Minh N.

Yelp
If it is crowded, avoid it for the day. You'll get undercooked food bc of the rushing
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not a Buddhist but I may convert just for the food.

Yelp
Quick caveat- I have not been to any services here, just the Sunday pop up market, so that is what this review will cover. The temple itself is very beautiful, and it's worth the drive just to see the grounds. On Sundays the temple hosts a pop up market with several vendors offering an array of traditional Thai dishes and street food. There's a wide variety of options from papaya salads made fresh in front of you to curries and soups, and of course Thai tea! The prices are quite reasonable (~$8-10 for a generous portion). Once you get your food there are plenty of seating options around the temple and in its garden. Overall a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. 100% will come back. We particularly enjoyed a mango chicken dish and seafood red curry. In addition to ready-to-eat options, you can get some tricky to find ingredients to take home. For instance I was able to get a huge bag of Thai bird chili peppers for just$ 5. Suuuuper pumped about that- I put em in my freezer and they will last me forever!

Yelp
I love going here for a Sunday market feast! I Often found that the street food I found while visiting Thailand was way better than the food in sit down restaurants. It seems that this tradition is upheld strongly in the little market stands of the Buddhist center of DAllas. A well kept secret, though I can see from the recent crowds it's becoming more well known...the center offers a large variety of really authentic and delicious food cooked up by (what I think) are temple members. Favorites are the bbq meat, the pad Thai, the noodle soup, and of course my personal sweet spot-- sticky rice with mangoes (they even top it with mung beans here). I don't care for the shaved ice or the scallion pancakes but literally everything else is solid if not amazing. Again one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday. I recently took visitors and it was a great hit! Get the boba Thai tea, stuff your face, repeat weekly.

Yelp
OMG !!! The food is awesome on Sundays ... real Thai food , not restaurant style catering to westerners ... Love it, plan on going every Sunday. Boat Noodle soup is Legit. Best place in DFW for Thai food on Sunday's. Oh temple and grounds themselves are beautiful.
google avatar

Kou L.

Yelp
Came here from a recommendation of a friend. I heard they sell Thai food here on the weekends and decided to check it out. It's on the corner hidden by trees. Parking are on the street if you can find them. Walked in to a nice gorgeous Buddhist Temple with walkways through little gardens. Behind the temple is where the they sell food. The food was great and authentic, but overprice for the portion. Overall, it was nice. Make sure to bring cash!
google avatar

Rene B.

Yelp
Beautiful temple grounds with great thai street food for Sunday lunch. There's probably 10-15 vendors all lined up and is reminiscent of the night markets in Thailand. Pretty nostalgic if you're from there/visited there. They are all cash only, but is reasonably priced. Not sure if all the vendors do it, but it seemed like one stall puts all their proceeds back to the temple! Food was delicious. Really enjoyed the fish cakes, skewers and mango sticky rice. They do have stalls that sell drinks (thai tea/boba) but you can bring your own water (especially if you get your food spicy). If you go during their peak time, seating may be hard to come by as it's only patio tables/chairs. Will come again
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
The Thai food served here is INSANELY good, and VERY modestly priced. (I ate like a king for seven bucks, and my husband followed suit.) The temple itself is beautiful inside, yes, and I do encourage you to visit its interior if you come for the freshly prepared and extremely authentic (not to mention quite piquant!) Thai cuisine. I was a little shocked to see meat dishes, as I'd anticipated entirely vegetarian options. (Not all Buddhists are vegetarians, granted, but still . . . whatever the case, there are plenty of options here for vegetarians and vegans alike.) Meh. Religion. Go figger. Me, though? I'm a crusty old atheist who comes for the terrific food, baby. (I ain't gonna lie, baby.)

Yelp
My go to place for authentic thai food. Every Sunday, there's a handful of vendors selling thai street type food. You can find boat noodle soups, thai pho, BBQ pork skewers, papaya salads, various thai deserts to name a few! Be sure to bring cash! We mainly come for the Kuay jaap. An earthy soup dish with rice noodle rolls topped with tofu, eggs, liver and intestines. I haven't found any thai restaurants selling this dish. My kids love the BBQ pork skewered with sticky rice. They can get pretty busy and some time there's a line. The temple grounds is very beautiful and shaded, provided by all the flowers and big trees. They even have a Koy pond, which my kids really love!

So peace and calm! We made a visit on Sunday, it is very good for meditation practice. Street Foods at the center are good, too.
