Dallas’s Beloved Thai Street Food Market Is Making a Comeback | Eater Dallas

"I was glad to learn that one of the city’s best food markets has reopened on the grounds of The Buddhist Center of Dallas (8484 Stults Road in North Dallas) after a pandemic hiatus; the market has served fresh-cooked Thai dishes every Sunday for 15 years and is run by volunteer stalls staffed by temple members — some retired restaurant professionals and skilled home cooks. They serve a wide range of Thai street food from papaya salad, sakoo dumplings, and chicken pad Thai to several hard-to-find dishes, all priced from $1 to $10; the market is cash-only, runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Sunday, and frequently sells out, so it’s smart to arrive early." - Brittanie Shey
