There was a time when I would have given Buona 5 stars. They had good food at a reasonable prices, and great service. The Customer Service is okay, but the turnover rate seems to be high, and the prices have increased significantly. Buona has also changed their rewards system, menu, and discontinued the weekly specials 😞. Once upon a time, they had some of the best Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, and for whatever reason took them off the menu? I still like there pizza, and the gluten free bread. But my visits have been limited due to the increase in prices.

Went to Buona today for lunch I got a cheese pizza with Pepperoni Sausage Red OnionExtra Cheese Well Done and it's taste good

Ordered a strawberry avocado chicken salad. The lettuce was wilted and the strawberries were old. Had that "wine" taste to them... I wish I'd thought to take a picture. Also, someone added entirely too much dressing instead of providing it on the side.

unhappy unsatisfied experience I ordered 2 meals they forgot my fry’s I ordered a beef dipped with pepper on the side didn’t give me my peppers. They crossed it off my receipt but not in my bag poorly packaged onion rings no flavor and barely any onion rings very upset

This is one of our favorite places in Beverly. The food is always fresh, hot, and served fast. The staff is friendly and always goes out of their way for our family. Their Buona Beef is superb. It is my son's favorite. My wife says it is one of the best pizza places on Western. Me? I'm a hot dog connoisseur. Their chili and cheese hot dogs are THE best. I have lived many places in my over 50 years of traveling and this is excellent. I would put it up against any other chili dog anywhere. Finally, this particular restuaurant is always clean. The bathrooms have always been clean and well stocked. We just love this place. Thank you Buona on Western for being the pride of the Buona chain.

Got an Italian Beef dipped with cheese and peppers. It was pretty good. I can't really complain. Staff was friendly and chill. A bit on the pricey side, but what isn't nowadays.

My daughter works here, and I'm sti unbiased about my opinion. The food is great, the shakes are excellent. The beef definitely taste better than portillos.

The food was good. They did forget one of our meals and that person had to wait about 15 additional minutes. The pasta serving did feel like they were skimpy a bit but at least it tasted good.

I really enjoy having Buona Beef in the neighborhood. I generally purchase the salads. Although I do enjoy the chicken sandwiches. My grandson loves the Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. Paul and D.J. are my favorite managers. They are always welcoming and professional. I like using the App to pre order for pickups. It is very convenient. I also like the point system. At one time I had 30,000 points.

I waited in this line for a long time; over 20 minutes, this place is busy!!!!! I would've pulled away, but I was stuck in the inside lane. The strawberry avocado salad is great! I wish they offered it with a different nut because I don't care for walnuts, but it was still good. They have well kept grounds. I like how they have a screen for you to review the menu before you get to the actual ordering screen.

I enjoy Buona's Italian beef sandwich which is one of the better beef sandwiches in the area. I changed up one day and ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad. The salad had mixed greens, cheese, croutons and grilled chicken. The Caesar dressing wasn't that great which is suppose to make the salad great, but overall Buoan is very good

Hard to say if I would refer people to this specific spot! bueno beef is always good especially the locations with a rainbow cone attached. This location is great if you live in Mount Greenwood or Beverly but nothing over the edge to drive a long distance. I recommend getting the beef wet because for some reason it absorbs into the bread and can taste dry if you don't like dry taste then get it dipped

Chicago born and raised. I was in the area and craving a "beef" walked right in no line, no wait. Hi, can I get a Italian beef dipped with mozzarella cheese and hot peppers please" . A few moments later, the order was bagged up and ready to go. The beef was flavorful with lots of peppers just the way I like it. Good service here as well.I will be back!

Food is always excellent. But.....they have not ever had my or my wife's drive thru order correctly packed when it was more than a few items. I mean not one time since they opened. It's someone else's specific item, it's missing a cheese cup etc. Check your order entirely before you pull away. I've given the benefit of the doubt too many times over the years and have driven away. CHECK YOUR BAG!

I had a beef. It was really good but that's a no brained. I have to say I'd like to review the pizza. It was very easily a 7.2 out of 10. Unbelievably good for a beef place. Totally unexpected when I took a bite. Great job. Service was very slow for my liking. They came to ask if we received everything, (which was NO) not until then did we get all our food. So pretty disappointed in the service. Food was really good though!!

Out shopping stopped in for a quick lunch. My friend went thru the drive thru. The order taker was pleasant asked did we need any additional items. The food was hot and delicious. They gave enough napkins as well.

I tried the vegan beef it wasn't bad had a zesty flavor. It doesn't come dipped in au jus but it didn't need it because it's not dry I added vegan cheese...overall not bad.

I am a regular customer of Buona in Beverly, and in the past year, I have only had a few less than excellent, and needless to say, unhappy experiences. Once, the air conditioner was out of order and it was raining indoors in the summer. On another occasion the rainbow ice cream cake was discontinued. But the food was always fresh and satisfactory. This time I was very disappointed. I went through the drive thru, and because the food is usually satisfactory, I did not check for accuracy or quality. I found, after getting home, that the chicken tenders were unusually dried out. Very disappointing. I also had a chicken sandwich, which I saved for dinner. The chicken was also very disappointing. It was rubbery and also dried out. The toppings were fresh. But the chicken was not. Very disappointing. I was not prepared to go back to get a refund or replacement. I hope I will not have that disappointing experience again. Rachel, manager was very apologetic for my sad experience, when I called but did not offer any recourse. Even though I am a rewards member. I just lose my money and go hungry. I definitely had to throw out the food. It was NOT very tasty. IF I ever decide to try this restaurant again, I will most certainly check the bag. In the mean time I think Ill just check out Nicky's down the street. You may have just lost a customer. Buona, don't treat anyone else like this! After more than 3 unsatisfactory times with you guys, I'm not anxious to frequent your establishment any more.

Just terrible again... The worker kids need to be supervised by an adult, not just some kids older brother 'manager' kid. The owner would absolutely blow a gasket if he casually tried to place a drive thru order at this restaurant. They've managed to mess up every menu item I've ordered at one point or another. Just came across some PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET! Talking about how bad this one is!! Haha look at this picture!

Disappointing! My husband and I were down the street and decided to stop at this Buona location. Now, I'm sorry we did! Usually we get our food to-go when visiting the Streeterville location, but decided to eat in this restaurant since we were a distance from home. So, why was my cheeseburger lukewarm and not hot? I was right there in the restaurant so there was no reason for my burger to be lukewarm. Also, although I had a number of extras on my burger, the burger itself lacked seasoning. My husband had the Italian Sausage sandwich and said it was "alright". We both had onion rings and there was no seasoning on the batter -- whatsoever! Again, disappointing! Now the highlight of my meal was the strawberry shake. You could not taste ANY strawberries, it was milky, and it lacked the taste of ice cream. All in all, it was horrible! After about six draws on the straw, I stopped drinking. There was no sense in wasting any more calories! I spent $4.19 on a shake that was better suited for dishwashing, and it wasn't sweet at all! By the time I started drinking it I was driving home, and I was not turning around to go back for a refund. The only reason this gets two stars is because of the friendly service we received and the cleanliness of the dining room. We do not plan to return to this location, but sincerely hope they do better.

Because you're app is unresponsive because I can't add juice on the side and extra beef in the same order because fries isn't followed by large fries but is followed by eight other different pieces of garbage I don't want instead of saying small fries large fries you know that makes sense I would not recommend you to anybody. Plus plus plus you won't take a phone order with a credit card that is very inconvenient for the elderly man in fact

Recent transplants to Chicago, and we immediately started taste testing Italian beef places around us. This one was super flavorful and juicy!! Convenient drive thru too! Salads and beef bites were also delightful.

If you're trying Buona for the first time or the hundredth time. Don't buy it from here in Beverly at this Buona. they will ruin the experience. I've trusted them one time to many. Expect 1 or all.... They won't get your order right (please check) They only put a very small portion of beef (anorexic) Don't bother to ask for dipping cause they won't do it. Asked for the vegan beef get home it's the regular beef. Bread was hard. Save yourself. Why be mad and hungry!!

Bouna Beef Chicago in Columbus via take home frozen and used it for a source of yummy goodness to bring in the New Year 2020!!! Steamy hot sliced beef in Italian sauce simmering with a vibrant array of flavors bursting and dancing on your happy tastebuds!! Happy New 2020 with some Yummilicious food n favors!! This restaurant is terrible. The people are rude, they mess up your orders, and they food is gross. I have gone here multiple times and half the time they get my order wrong. I also have found a hair in my food before.

Great location, order is always right, pizza is AWESOME (if pricey for the size except on Thursday pizza discount day but all locations are the same on that.) On the rare time there's been any tiny issue, they respond immediately to my little feedback. I'm hooked.

First time coming here. Me and my girlfriend were looking for something to eat right after we left the South side Irish parade. We've never been to Buona Beef before in our life. I've heard of the place but I assumed they strictly sold beef and a few other things but I was so wrong. They have many things to choose from food wise, even salads and soups to name a few. They got a large menu and for those that like this place alot, they got a catering menu and their own beef at the front counter. I ordered a char grilled burger with fries and the food looked phenomenal, tasted delicious and I was firmly satisfied. My girlfriend got a salad and she was extremely satisfied as well with the presentation as well as the quality of the salad when the server gave her the salad. We both left full. The prices here are definitely perfect. The restaurant itself is really beautiful, especially the layout. Food gets pumped out at a good pace. Employees were really friendly as well. Definitely recommend.

Today is "National Beef Day," and Buona has been reminding me for days. I install the app so I can get my free beef delivered for free using the app, and this location is NOT "accepting" orders. How convenient. You totally miss the point.

Had a birthday brunch here and I enjoyed the atmosphere, my meal, and the customer service. My only complaint would be the cold air that was blowing: but I believe that was to keep the air circulating, so understandable.

Sometimes can be a little packed in the drive Thru but Great Food and better customer service always a great spot for lunch highly recommend.

This weekend I went all out over this place. I heard about it being National Italian Beef day and I wanted in on the giveaway, a free Italian Beef sandwich. I'll tell you, what some people won't do for food. I was taught not to be a mooch, so I ordered something extra from the menu, a chopped salad and an extra 10" cheesy beef just in case the freebie was skimpy. Sharing is caring, and you never know what's coming next, or who you might meet before sundown. TMALSS, the sandwiches were tasty. The salad didn't compare to the one I get at Portillo's. Different strokes for different folks. Next time, maybe I'll get a burger instead. There were also some negatives on this visit, but none worth remembering now. I'll be back.

Came here after an afternoon of drinking for St Patrick's in the peculiar southside neighborhood of Chicago. The area is nice and we came here for the parade and what better way to finish off the afternoon than enjoy a nice Italian beef. This location is fairly large on the inside with plenty of tables. They are counter service and then they'll give you a number and bring out your order. The inside is pretty clean with the exception of kids and patrons from the parade leaving their trash on the floor. Lots of kids hanging out here I assume waiting for their parents (LOL, to be that age again). I ordered myself a regular buona beef and a side of fries. Grab a number and take a seat. The wait time is not long at all. Sandwich in hand within 5 minutes. The sandwich can be a little messy so grab plenty of napkins. The fries are thicker cut and not bad. The main star of the show is the sandwich and the flavors were everything I expected would eat here again if I was in the area.

Go to McDonald's this place going down hill they charge for steak but give ham sandwiches 35 bucks for raviolis large beef and this crap is no where near what you pay for

Didn't deliver the correct order. I tried calling them several times more than an hour before closing time in-order to get a refund & they just keep picking up the phone then immediately hanging up without saying anything. Will have to go through my credit card company.

Fire burger! I had to request a different cheese but it was very good will be coming back!

The staff was not very nice and the food is overpriced. I normally enjoy buona beef and always have a good experience, but not here! Strongly prefer the buona on 95th st.

Whatever they did to the cheddar broccoli soup--it's disgusting now. No longer a soup consistency, super thick and tastes like straight cheese sauce.

I'm a regular Buona customer and I always seem to have problems at this Buona location. One time I was forgotten about at the curbside pickup, another time ordered an avocado jack burger and it was made incorrectly, another time I received a chicken avocado jack burger instead of a regular one, and just today they didn't add the avocado I paid extra money for on an item. After I got home, my boyfriend and I called the restaurant to see what they could do about his burger missing the avocado. A gentleman spoke with us and said we could come back to have them make the correct sandwich, but I was already home and didn't have time to drive back and forth. I was then put on hold for about 8 minutes. I eventually gave up and ended the call. I don't want to be "that customer" that complains about a missing ingredient that cost me an extra dollar, but I'm getting really frustrated with this location.

Awful Service Absolutely AWFUL Service The drive thru person rushed me so much I forgot to order peppers Then the beefs were short on the ends about 2 inches on each side And a LARGE fry was 12 fries.... 12 fries!!! So disappointed

Okay I was an early vocal supporter of this place, and to be quite honest I am forced to reevaluate them after I have consistently over the last three visits to be extremely disappointed in what has become a poor shadow of what it once was. The burgers, precooked and served hours if not days after they were cooked. Overdone and dry as dirt. The cheese seems to taste like rubber, like cheese left out overnight. The pizza ingredients taste like they too have been sitting around. Dried chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza. All in all their quality control fell off a cliff, and they need to step it up. I gave them repeated tries to see if they were having a bad day.... Nope. They seem to have just given up caring.

This is an update. Yesterday I ordered a 7" beef sandwich, dipped, with hot giardiniera. I checked my receipt and saw that they charged me for the giardiniera. Are you kidding me? This is a beef sandwich. Does McDonald's charge me for ketchup and mustard? I don't care how good the beef tastes, this is unacceptable. I will not return.

Food is very tasty. Love the Italian beef. Drive Thru service is abysmal compared to Portillos. They mess up orders constantly.

We support the Morgan Pk location once or twice a month. It's amazing they can provide a pizza as quickly as they do. The food is tasty when you receive the correct order. Two of the last three visits our order was taken properly, but bagged incorrectly. Tonight Jesus took our order (#440). It printed correctly. I thought the Divine Intervention would help them, but unfortunately when I arrived home, we had someone else's order. Additionally He failed to convert our water order to wine, angering my wife who had to return to the dinner line. The family behind us with the little kids who didn't receive their chicken nuggets are also pretty disgusted. Jesus needs some new disciples.

Great place! Super glad to have a Buona in the neighborhood. Everything always taste fresh and great. I've orders off DoorDash a few times and they always follow the extra special directions. Chili Dog is one of the best I've had in the area and fries are excellent too. The Italian beef is also excellent.

Awesome addition to Beverly. I've been twice (once in the drive through and another walk in for carry out) and the service was pretty speedy considering it's made to order. I've gotten the Italian beef "wet" and it was delicious. A little messy but they do wrap the sandwich well so the mess doesn't appear until you unwrap it. Skip the fries which are just okay and save room for a shake instead. Price is comparable to similar establishments like Portillo's.

I didn't have my hopes high when I ordering a veggie pizza for 5 bucks, only to be surprised! The pizza had spinach, artichokes, olives, bell peppers, mushrooms, and a decent amount of cheese. I also ordered a side of fries because I was not expecting it to be so large, and they were fresh. Definitely a win on discount Thursdays!

I will not be returning to this location. They have been going down hill for the past few months. This evening I went to the drive through menu on the right side & I just sat there as I watched three cars go through the left menu side. I'm very patient but after I honked my horn I realized nobody was working my side. Myself & the car behind me proceeded to the window. The guy at the window told me they were short staffed and that he was "exhausted" & they didn't have anyone for the other side. I placed my order & when they brought it out, gravy spilled on my pants and on the door of my car! I asked for gravy on the side & instead I received a soaked bag with a soaked sandwich. By the way, drive through guy was also bringing food to the cars...So after talking with two workers (although they were both pleasant) I asked for my beef sandwich to be re-made, which they did, I wasn't offered any type of compensation or a free item. They just apologized, and yes I showed them the spilled gravy. I have been a satisfied customer at your Oak Park location for 13 years...I'll wait until I'm out there to eat Buona again.

It's a very beautiful and very clean place. A lot of space to eat. The cashiers are happy and very attentive and are quick. I ordered the 5 inch Buona Way with red gravy. A minestrone bowl soup which so delicious!!! I loved everything and you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this location

Two weeks ago, I bought a beef sandwich, potato salad and 2 large lemonades to go. The sandwich was delicious but the potato salad was just okay. Within 20 minutes, l began feeling horrible. I had cramps in my stomach. I alternated from feeling nauseous to being unable to poop. What followed was an unbelievably painful and uncomfortable 48 hours. I will not return. Update: well l returned and glad l did. We had a pepperoni pizza which was delicious. While l won't order potato salad again, l will return. Plus, the manager reached out which l appreciated.

I am a burger guy. I've gone to many locations to see different kinds if burgers and their taste. First time I heard of this place and was curious to try it. I can say that without a doubt best burger i've had so far! Drive thru was fast, employees were very nice, and food tasted very fresh! 10/10 recommended!

Hey, the italian beef is a Chicago classic. Serve up one of Buona's beefs to an outsider, and there's a very good chance they may like it. As for myself, I was never really a fan. I grew up in Berwyn, and had many visits to the Buona there...by the time I moved, I only went there if co-workers were already going..I had about four other places I would prefer instead. Most Chicago-area peeps think like this! Anywho, I decided to give the new Beverly location a try. First off, it feels kind've sterile and not very inviting...kind've sad that it reminds me of a typical fast food chain. The beef was not very flavorful. There's not too many great beef places around this part of town, but rest assured, there are a few!

The food's good if you get what you ordered. They never get online orders right. And lately, their chopped salads contain old, brown lettuce. Just seems like the restaurant is going downhill.

Took my daughter here today to celebrate her 11th Birthday ! Service was great from Kiah and Brian and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back and highly recommend for any occasion ! Thank you for making my daughters birthday lunch delicious and fun.

This was my first time here and took my 2 teenage kids. Food was great. The atmosphere was very comfortable. Service was great too. The cashier helped me with the menu and the server checked on us a few times. I like the self service soft drinks and there was no rush. We will definitely be back. Yum!
