How coronavirus impacts the Las Vegas restaurant world - Eater Vegas

"Harbor Palace Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown Plaza reports business declining by 60 percent to 70 percent. Henda Chow, who owns and manages the restaurant that specializes in dim sum and traditional Chinese dishes served until 2 a.m., tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that business started dipping in the beginning of February when initial reports of coronavirus emerged." - Susan Stapleton

One of the area’s dim sum stalwarts, offering morning pushcarts and late-night, made-to-order baskets. A fixture for multigenerational gatherings, it keeps Cantonese traditions alive on Spring Mountain Road.

This is our go-to spot for a quick and authentic pho and Chinese dining experience. The food is consistently good, especially their beef dishes and fried rice, which are some of the best we’ve had in this category. Everything comes out hot, flavorful, and well prepared. Service is fast and efficient, making it a great choice whether you’re dining solo, with family, or in a larger group. The servers are attentive and friendly without being intrusive, which adds to the overall pleasant experience. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, making it an easy place to return to again and again. While it’s more about great food and efficiency than ambiance, it delivers exactly what it promises. A solid, reliable spot when you’re craving comfort food done right.

Very friendly and prompt service, clean ambiance that felt good from the start. Food is delicious, portions are generous and prices reasonable. Highly recommend and will definitely come back!

The food is average. I ordered the hot and sour fish, beef stir-fry noodle, and tofu carousel. The fish is stale (i.e., not fresh). The beef is mostly noodles. The tofu carousel is acceptable. The service is much better than I had expected for this genre of Chinese restaurants - they tried to seat everyone according to their queue #, the filled the teapot when it is empty, they provide sufficient # of boxes to being out leftovers. For those who are looking for Teochew dishes, this restaurant is not it even though they have advertised it as so.

The food was super tasty. We went with the house special fried rice and the house special chow mein. The Thai style fish cake was okay. Plus, they gave us free dessert, which was awesome. I also got two orders of hot, fresh Chinese donuts that I ate even though I was pretty stuffed. It was so good.

This is an amazing chinese restaurant! I would say as good as chinese restaurants in new york city chinatown. The duck was amazing. The beef chow fun was delicious. And the shrimp fried rice was awesome.I highly recommend it!

We were greeted warmly and seated quickly. Food was fresh and tasty. We had the fried rice and orange peel chicken with eggrolls. The waitress was attentive. Restaurant is located on the second floor. Parking was free.

Great authentic Chinese food when you visit Vegas. Busy place for dinners. Go prepared for wait times to be seated and even served! Waitress never bothered to check on us after taking the order. But you may excuse the service issues for a nice food that arrives at your table. Long menu with many choices.
