"Allston’s newest rum bar features a couple cocktails geared at groups of four or more people ($72). There’s the mambo Italiano (Bacardi Cuatro, Redemption Rye, Zucca, lemon, honey, bubbly, mint, blackberries) and the hotel nacional (Havana Club Classico, apricot, pineapple, lime, bubbly). Cozy up inside the brightly colored space on a cool night, or take advantage of nicer weather on the spacious courtyard patio." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
"Upgrade your typical daiquiri for Casa Caña’s el floridita, a mixture of white rum, lime juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and maraschino liqueur. It’s a frozen version of the Hemingway daiquiri, named for the Havana bar where this classic was invented. The recipe is a perfect match for Casa Caña’s colorful Cuban vibe." - Katie Faust Stryjewski
"The best reason to come to Casa Caña, a hotel restaurant that doesn’t really feel like a hotel restaurant in a renovated motel on Soldiers Field Road, is the outdoor space. It has a giant courtyard with tables, couches, and a bar where you can play corn hole underneath a few shade trees. The Latin-influenced food certainly isn't bad, but we don’t find it particularly noteworthy either. Come here with friends, start with a mojito, and enjoy the sun before heading out for the night." - Dan Secatore
"Eater Boston readers loved the design of Casa Caña, with its blue-green color scheme, tropical murals, and photographs of Cuba." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
"Casa Caña provides a taste of Latin America, zeroing in on Cuba. There’s a tropical green-blue color scheme, wicker light fixtures, and a large selection of photographs of Cuba by Lucy Sargent Lyons." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
