"For the holidays, ordering appetizers was a must. At CBD Provisions, the Texas charcuterie board scratched that itch. It is loaded with house-made sausage and bread, hot soppressata, various kinds of cheese, chicken liver mousse, and the best pickles you’ll find downtown. Not pictured is the filet au Poivre ordered for the main, which scratched the itch for steak with a stunningly good sauce. "It’s hard to find a misstep at CBD Provisions. While the menu offerings rotate seasonally, anything called “salad” here is a sure fire bet. The delicate leaves of the little gem lettuce are light and crispy, and this season, CBD tops them with lumb crab and cornbread croutons on the dinner menu. For a lunch option the kale, sprouts, and broccoli, topped with lemon-agave dressing is healthy and delish.
