"This French spot in a rebuilt farmhouse bordering Connecticut is a good place to watch chefs stir mushrooms into risotto just so, and maybe have a Martha Stewart sighting. Dishes walk the fine line of rich ingredients and moderate-sized plates that’ll leave you satisfied but not stuffed, though if you want splurge in both price and portion, there’s a grilled wagyu with bone marrow for two that you’ll see on tables across the dining room. We think Cenadou is worth the trip up north, but if you’re looking for a French bistro in Westchester and don’t want to head all the way up county, check out Saint George in Harrison." - mike wasserman

What a fantastic addition to the local restaurant scene! The food was all truly delicious - (especially the duck breast!!), the wine selection fantastic, and the team were friendly and professional. Manager Elena spent the evening attentively accommodating her guests and making sure the service ran smoothly. Her and her husband chef Andrea have clearly put their hearts into this restaurant - I can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Cenadou. Cenadou is a small restaurant located in North Salem serving excellent French fare. The small but diverse menu has many interesting options and each dish is well prepared and presented. Service was slow but attentive. The room is attractive and we received a warm welcome.

Cenadou is a charming French bistrot that has quickly garnered praise since its opening. Helmed by Chef Andrea Calstier, who has Michelin-starred experience, the restaurant offers a refined take on Provençal cuisine. The intimate space combines a rustic, farmhouse ambiance with high-end French dining, attracting both locals and visitors. Diners often rave about the rich yet balanced dishes, such as the Hudson Valley foie gras terrine, duck breast with figs, and steak frites. Desserts like the Mille-Feuille Banofee and crispy profiteroles are also standout options. The restaurant’s cozy, glass-enclosed kitchen adds to the experience, offering a glimpse of the culinary magic in action. The quality of food, wine, and service makes it a worthwhile splurge, especially for special occasions.

What a special place to take someone to spoil them for dinner. We were party of 4 and try many things off the menu. We had the anchovies, Foie gras ( our daughter said it was one of the best she had), and escargots. Everything came with yummy bread. For main course, we had the pasta (wow! It was good!), the steak frites, and the black bass ( cooked perfectly!). We ate everything but wanted to try dessert. We loved the profiteroles (had to get a second one) and lemon (light and perfect to end a lovely meal). Loved watching the chefs moving around in the open kitchen. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Incredible dining experience at Cenadou. My wife and I decided to bring my family there visiting from France for my mom’s birthday, we had an absolute blast. Food was impeccable, very extensive wine list and the service absolutely perfect. The wagyu entrée will blow your mind, put also the panisses, simple and perfectly executed. I’ve had the chance of trying the Black Sea bass also, it was absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a true French/Provence culinary experience, make sure you dine at Cenadou. The area was missing an authentic French restaurant and I cannot wait to see Chef Andrea Calstier thrive up there. Follow them and support them! Cheers and congrats!

What a stunning gem of a restaurant! This brand-new building is perfectly nestled in a little sloping hill. The scenery around is beautifully framed. The cocktails are fun and the food was fantastic. Everything there is considered, from the materials of the space to the butter served with the homemade bread. Definitely go :)

What an amazing experience last night. It’s so nice to have a traditional French restaurant in Westchester County. Everything was fabulous from service to food to ambience. The property is beautiful. They’re opening up a tasting menu restaurant downstairs that’s going to be awesome. I’ve been in the restaurant business for a long time, so I really appreciate what they are doing. The food is spectacular.

I can't say enough great things about this little neighborhood gem. Everything exceeded my expectations. It was like have a meal in Paris. All the flavors of each dish was perfectly balanced. And the French fries were true perfection! My second time back to Cena Dou and still give this place a 5 out of 5! We had the seabass for 2, and the preparation and presentation was a true work of culinary art! So glad this is my neighborhood gem.
