"Vivek Singh’s Covent Garden restaurant provides relaxed, all-day Indian dining in a bright, colourful space with a marketplace atmosphere. The extensive menus are influenced by the trade routes of the subcontinent, with twists that encompass Afghanistan, Punjab and the Middle East. Start off with a selection of snacks and chaat, before moving on to larger plates like lamb rogan josh ‘shepherd’s pie’, which has become something of a signature." - Michelin Inspector

The Best Biryanis in London | Eater London

"Chef Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Bazaar adds to the colourful charm of Covent Garden with its Indian market-inspired decor. Their Lucknowi chicken biryani will make you feel like a member of royalty. Unlike other biryanis, their Lucknowi-style biryani cooks chicken that has been marinated in yoghurt, fried onions, and spices in its stock. Additions include Himalayan screw pine essence, saffron, ghee and rose water to the meat before being layered with rice for dum cooking to give it that rich taste. Cinnamon Bazaar also does away with the usual onion raita and the biryani is instead served with burani raita made with thick yoghurt, garlic, and red chillies. For even more indulgence, Cinnamon Bazaar runs bottomless biryani brunches." - Advika Reddy

Indian Restaurants in the UK & Ireland

An evening walk-in, we were seated quickly and then introduced to Dominik our waiter for the evening. Water was served almost as quick as we were seated, and followed up by our drinks. Food arrived hot with incredible flavours a particular mention to the pineapple dish. Through the evening if a glass or plate was empty it was whisked away with no delay and for the drinks replaced when required. The service from Dominik was some of the best I’ve received within the area and he seemed to make the restaurant flow with no fuss. I’ve found my new favourite restaurant and will be back with friends to try the taster menu.

The beetroot Bhejetable Cake came as four small, spicy balls bursting with flavor. The double-cooked pork belly was equally fantastic, tender and full of complexity. Service was fast and attentive. Tanvir suggested ordering black dal and garlic butter naan with the pork, and his suggestion was spot on, everything was excellent. The gin julep was interesting and flavorful. I can't wait to dine here again!

Been here twice- once for dinner and later for unlimited chaat during lunch. Both visits were absolutely fantastic!! The food is lipsmacking flavorful, fine but not pretentious, and the staff is very friendly. Special mention to Sangeet who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We will of course be back! P.S. go for their chaat lunch if you can, it is irresistible.

My family and I had a really lovely dinner here for my birthday. The interior is beautiful and the food was great. It was our first time here and we would love to come back. Many thanks to our server Sara, and to the restaurant for very sweetly bringing me a vegan desert and birthday candle!

Google
Absolutely fantastic afternoon tea experience. So much good food I'm not sure we can even walk out of here! Tanvir went out of his way to offer dairy-free alternatives for my wife and even brought us a second set of appetizers since we loved them so much. Absolutely fantastic start to our honeymoon; I'm not sure what could possibly top this!

My friend and I had a superb meal here today. Dominic and Sara were so lovely. They were friendly and warm which added to the atmosphere and the yummy food. We will be back, your attentiveness in a hospitable way was spot on.

Wow, wow, and wow! In our week here in London we have had the opportunity try three different Indian restaurants and this was our favorite. We are sad we came here on our last night because we couldn’t come again, but will be certainly recommended to friends and on our restaurants to visit on our next trip to London. The drinks had a lovely Indian twist with delicious spices from beginning to end and the food was thoughtfully made. I look forward to you having the opportunity to try and enjoy, just as we did :)

Fast and flavorful family run restaurant with great price fixe menu pre and post theater. Cute and tastefully decorated. Accommodating servers.

Yelp
A lovely meal at this spot in Covent Garden on a Friday evening a month ago! I didn't have reservations which I think are highly recommended considering the small/medium-sized space for seating around 40ish, so I was glad they squeezed me in at one of the two-seater bar tables closer to the entrance. They have a bunch of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten- free options, which I appreciated (shout out to Indian restaurants that have some of the best vegetarian options out there!) After consulting with server on her recommendation, I ordered the samosa chaat (£7.75) and the "Future 50" kofta (£15.50), a side of pilau rice (£4) This was plenty of food for one! I really liked the flavors and heat level of the chaat, a tad spicier than I normally tend to eat, with the yoghurt sauce helping to temper the spice a bit. The kofta (meatballs, but made out of grains and fruit, not meat!) was amazingly tasty. So much that as a moderate meat-eater, they made me actually not miss the meat! The texture, moistness and flavor were top notch, especially the crispy toasted exterior from the quinoa. Thumbs up! I do wish it came with rice instead of having to order it separately. The server was friendly though I had to remind her to bring me a glass of water, I'd recommend this place and would love to come back and try some of their other offerings.

Yelp
The atmosphere is mind blowing and the food to die for. We struck a prix fixe deal online that included a starter, main, and dessert. The waiter was extremely nice, the service was very fast, the food and drinks really tasty. No complaints here. A must try!

Kirsten F.

Yelp
We went to CB there for breakfast although the one we went to was in Richmond. My husband had the kedgeree which he really enjoyed, it had great flavour. I had the aloo paratha with pomegranate raita - lots of flavour and spice. The service was very good, friendly, knowledgeable but not intrusive.

Yelp
This place was so yummy for High Tea! First off, the whole place is so cutely decorated with all the greens hanging off the ceiling. The tea pots are all painted differently and are very vibrant. The staff was very welcoming when we first arrived. The service was a little slow - we had to remind our waiter about our cocktails which we didn't even get until after we were basically done with our food. The food served at the tea service was delicious. We got two veggie and two meat options (four of us were dinning). The veggie sandwiches were both spicy, yummy, and flavorful. The fish sandwich was my favorite of the meat selection. The watermelon chaat was soooooo good! Unique and hands down my favorite overall. The pani puri has a nice spice to it. The cheesecake was the winner for the whole table.

Yelp
What a gem! Had a cancelled flight in Heathrow--thanks BA--and I said to myself why not head into the City and partake of some good Indian food. What a great choice!! We arrived on time and sat at the bar. The drinks were spot on. When we told the bar tender of our Odyssey and cancelled flights he comped the drinks! What an awesome gesture. The ambiance is mostly locals with a smattering of tourists. The food is above expectation! We had the obligatory naan bread, the Samosa, chicken (butter and tandoori). What a great meal. All of it was amazing and tasty and here's the best part: affordable! I wasn't gouged.

Yelp
Lovely spot tucked behind the centre of Covent Garden. It was very busy so I definitely making a reservation like we did. The portion sizes were good for lunch and the chicken curry I had was nice. We didn't want to limit ourselves to the set menu so didn't book it ahead, but upon paying we all agreed that it would have been a better option for the price. For example, I believe the set menu was £19 per person and we all ended up paying north of £30 per person for less food. This is my reason for rating 3 stars as I think the price was too much for what we had.
google avatar

Yelp
Do the afternoon tea! For £27.50, you get 3 types of chaat (the watermelon was our favorite by far!), sandwiches, dessert, and tea of your choice. The tea replaced lunch - it was so filling. The service was amazing and the food was very very tasty. Would definitely recommend! As vegetarians, the sandwiches were decent but not amazing. The chaat was definitely the star of the show - would go back just for that!

Yelp
Not much to look at from the outside, but very cute and colorful inside. The food is also quite good, but the portions are small. For about $70 we had two samosas (these were delicious and smothered in lentils, yogurt, chutney and pomegranate seeds), a jack fruit dish, a rice (tiny portion), and a strange dish that had balls covered in sesame seeds in a thick sauce (the sauce was great). We also had chai to drink (which was great). The spice level was perfect and service was good. Overall, overpriced for the small portions, but tasty food.

Yelp
Wow! We eat a good amount of Indian food and this may have been the best Indian food we have ever had! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They provided great recommendations and each dish was packed with flavor! They are going for a modern and creative take on bazaar food and we were not disappointed. We really enjoyed the Kashmiri Lamb Shank Rohan Josh, a flavorful mash-up. We dream about the char-grilled duck breast - it was like nothing we had ever tasted before. The double cooked pork belly was also fantastic! The appetizers/small plates were great for sharing and also packed with flavor. We especially enjoyed the Watermelon Chaat and Samosa Chaat. The house daal was the best that we have ever had (did I mention that we eat a lot of Indian food?!?). Last, and certainly not least, we tried the Bollywood Banger - their attempt at the hottest curry (pictured). With Carolina Reaper and ghost peppers spicing this lamb curry, I needed to sign a waiver to try it! Articles suggested that very few people finish it and some people even hallucinate after (hence the waiver). As someone who loves a good spice challenge, I could not resist (make sure to order a mango lassi to help with the spice). Very tasty and definitely a challenge if you are looking for spicy food. We loved the atmosphere, food, and great service!

Yelp
This place was recommended by some close friend in Los Angeles CA. USA. I can not recommend this place enough. Great atmosphere and staff to start. Then the food. I went with real Indian food fanatics. They loved every course. If you are looked for authentic Indian cuisine. This is the place for you. We hand the sampling menu. Amazing

Yelp
On our way to Covent Garden and browsing the shops and restaurants along the way. High chai afternoon tea is what caught my attention, so decided to give it a try. Family ordered a bunch of other dishes. Can't remember all the dishes, but the stand outs to them were the pork belly, butter chicken, and samosa chaat. The High Chai started off with watermelon chaat (my fave dish), papdi chaat (had a bit of a kick), and pani puri (always wanted to try this and liked them with the sweet and sour water). Then came the fish finger sandwich which I thought was tasty and chicken spring rolls. Sweets consisted of a pistachio cake with a marshmallow that was more of a merengue consistency, a saffron macaron, and cheesecake. Ordered the White Peony tea which was a bit too light for my liking. The high tea was definitely different. Service was attentive. We didn't feel rushed and we sat a bit longer while it poured outside. Visiting here was an experience.

Yelp
Innovative Indian food at its finest! Walked in during a cold and blustery day and could see why this place is very popular amongst the locals. It's cozy and modern and festively dressed up for the holidays! I was immediately seated and ordered a Falooda Swizzel and Lamb Roganjosh Shepherd's Pie. The staff was very kind and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order came out! The Falooda Swizzel I will admit, was a bit of a disappointment. The only discernable flavor was lime. Nothing floral imo. But, did that stop me from sipping on it the entire evening? Absolutely not. The Shepherd's Pie however, was comfort food at its finest. Big chunks of tender lamb that were flavorful but not overly spicy. The potatoes on top were lush and smooth. It was even caramelized a bit around the edges so you got some crispy cheese flavor which was excellent. Overall a wonderful dish that stuck to your ribs in order to brave the cold! I would definitely come back to try their other offerings! If only I didn't live 3,442.18 miles away...

Yelp
Cinnamon Bazaar was a wonderful find while wandering around the Covent Garden area of London. It's on the small Maiden Lane and is a small wonderful Indian restaurant. The food is superb. The restaurant was empty when we arrive but was completely full by the time we left. Get any of the chaat's and then we had the biryani and roganjosh. Both were excellent!

Yelp
No wonder this spot received a Michelin star Rating 2020. The food was amazing and the ambiance was just as beautiful. Here are some pictures to make your mouth water. Samosas , curry chicken and lamb Shepards pie. Ginger carrot pudding with banana ice cream. The food was

Yelp
We really enjoyed our visit to Cinnamon Bazaar while in London for our first visit. We tried the shepherds pie, the samosa chaat, and the daal and loved it all. The shepherds pie was so unique and fun and definitely made an impression as a fusion of a classic English dish with Indian flavors. Our cocktails were perfect as well! The atmosphere was charming and the service was impeccable. Our server was excited to make recommendations and to give us updates on the coming changes to their brunch menu (which we hope to return and try one day!) This spot is a great stop for a date night or a group dinner while in London!

Yelp
The food was delicious, a bit too spicy. Perfect to share between the table. The food came really fast and the portions were good. We had to ask a couple of times for water and we were close to the door which kept being open and no one was closing it so it was pretty cold. Another negative note is the Indian "ice cream" which had a sandy consistency and was a bit tasteless. Overall good experience!

Yelp
Came here for Mother's Day day brunch and we really enjoyed the food! The drinks/ service/ food were incredible & we absolutely lovedddd the buttered chicken. The place is cute inside and has good music however the vibes could be better.

Yelp
I had never tried Indian fusion cuisine. What a pleasant surprise. I had the duck confit in a curry sauce. It was delicious. Duck confit is a typical French dish and the addition of a spicy curry sauce was great. It had a small side of a green leaf vegetable which the French call blettes (not sure of spelling) and white rice. I am not a big fan of plain white rice but it was good. As an appetizer I had the curry beetroot cakes which were deep fat fried in a ball. Topped with a spicy sauce it had the consistency of a falafel ball but the taste of beets. Great appetizer. I also got a garlic nan, small and good. A new favorite in Covent Garden.

Yelp
The food was fantastic. We started with the samosa chaat and the Jerusalem artichoke chaat. I'm a huge samosa fan and loved the sweet potato and Jerusalem artichoke chat even more. All of my husbands cocktails were yummy. We also shared the lamb Shepard's pie, garlic naan and turmeric and lemon rice. The spice (as in seasoning) was fantastic, a great depth of favors and the heat spice was perfect. We found nothing to be bland and I would have tried anything on the menu. The ambiance is lovely as well. The service was good although a bit inattentive. Be sure to make a reservation! Overall I would definitely recommend and absolutely dine there again.

Yelp
I'm bearing my gastronomical soul when I admit that after 53 years on this planet, I have finally popped my Indian cherry. I'm not sure what half of this stuff is, but it was nothing short of a culinary epiphany. The only item with a recognizable face on the menu: The Lamb Shepherd's Pie - voted by Time-Out Magazine as one of the top 100 dishes in London. Indeed, this one produced an involuntary smile and tear of absolute nirvana. Props to the hostess, server, Maitre D - Ana. And to the mixologist that created the fountain of youth in a copper mug.

Yelp
Excellent food, interesting Indian English Asian fusion food. Bartending the great spices were perfect. CD was good. We came in on a busy Thursday night and they still squeeze us into the bar and the service and food is phenomenal.
google avatar

Aanchal K.

Yelp
Came here during London Cocktail week and was really disappointed in the service provided, except from the bald guy who made the drinks. The man who made the drinks was pleasant, and put the effort into making a fancy drink! We were sitting at the bar, and this server? bartender? was behind the bar, right in front of us, cleaning glasses without even ACKNOWLEDGING our presence. He didn't even look at us until after our orders were taken, and he could not even muster a smile. He had permanent stank face, and that really just tanked our whole experience here. Literally, to the point where we just wanted to drink and leave without turning back. My mom had this rose/prosecco drink during cocktail week and it was actually really good. My father and I had this melon gin egg white drink which was way too sweet so we really were in a rush to finish it and leave. Maybe the food might be better? They had some paper signing saying michelin 2019 but they definitely didn't act like it! lol

Yelp
The aftermath!!! Food was incredible on all levels! Best Indian food I've ever had!!! Ordered: Lamb shepherds pie, pork belly, Chaat & Chicken Tiki Naan. Also. The Traditional chai tea is to die for!! 10/10 recommend!!!

Yelp
Absolutely incredible experience! So good we went twice during our trip to London. Authentic Indian food made to share.

Yelp
So cinnamon is not too long a walk from Dishoom and rather less queued but still quite busy inside. Chaat options are pretty great with the dahi lentil and papdi options as well as the watermelon chaat. A side of daal makhani (black daal) with simple rotis make for a satisfying and not too heavy dinner. An extensive variety of cocktails as well.
google avatar

Marion M.

Yelp
This is not your typical Indian restaurant! It's a fusion style place. The staff is friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I began with a beverage called "Jasmin Pearls" which was jasmin tea with carbonation, served in a champagne style glass with a sprig of mint. Lovely! My main course was more traditional - butter chicken - but it was one of the best I've had and the serving size was just right for lunch. It came with rice and green vegetable. I also tasted the beetroot cake (a starter) out of curiosity. It was wonderful! The garlic naan was also tasty. I hope to return on this visit to London!
google avatar

Abigail M.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks. We had a vegetarian entree that was flavorful. They have dairy free naan bread that tastes amazing. Pricey but worth it.

Yelp
A winner of Michelin Bib Gourmand for high quality cuisine for excellent value, the "journey through the bazaar" met my expectations for good Indian food. Having journeyed to London hearing about how awesome the Indian food scene is, I am happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the food there. The stars of the set menu are the chana masala hummus and the papdi chaat. The best hummus I've tasted. The papdi chaat of tamarind, chickpeas, and yogurt served what appears to be round pieces of toasted thin wheat like wafers. What a way to start your journey. It was an explosion of favors. The other appetizer of chillies coated with poppy gun powder was just ok. Sorta reminded me of shishito peppers but not as good. Next - the winner of the starters was the pork belly. Perfectly cooked, well balanced with curried yogurt and a minty/pesto like green paste. The winner of the main course was the king prawns. Buttery, soft, and cooked to perfection. Crustaceans can be tricky as it's easy to overcook and you end up with a rubbery tasteless dish. Not here. Perfect seasoned with curry buttery flavors - it was the highlight of the main course. The dessert is unique. It's a carrot ginger toffee bread pudding with clove ice-cream. It is very heavy handed on the ginger ( I barely tasted the carrot). The clove ice-cream was more icy than creamy consistency. I would give this place 5 stars however, there were couple of things that kept me from giving an additional start. My main complaint was that there was water dripping from the plant above us. The AC was right above the plant so it could have come from the AC, but the server also stated that they had watered the plant.... 5 hours prior to our seating. the water would occasionally drip onto my friend, and sometimes into our dish. Let's just hope we don't get Listeria. only one way to find out. But I'd recommend perhaps moving the plants away from any patron eating areas in the future.

Yelp
From the exotic green entrance doors to the table, you are guaranteed a delightful experience. The service was admirably friendly with the patience to answer all my clarification questions on the dishes on the menue. Then, the tasting journey exploded like a wonderful firework of flavors. I loved it --dixit a traveling 'frog' who really enjoy culinary adventures.

Kendall S.

Yelp
Excellent foo, samosas we're incredible! Could have had more. Jungle chicken and lamb were perfect.

M M.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner at Cinnamon Bazaar! The Falooda Swizzle cocktail was phenomenal and I would love to try more from the drinks menu. Started off with the Samosa Chaat and Indo-Chinese Paneer. Both were great portions, a little spicy (in a good, warm way) and very tasty. I loved the unique, upscale take on simple ingredients. For our main course, we shared Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken and Lamb Roganjosh Shepherd's Pie. The naan and butter chicken were delicious, staple dishes for sure. The Shepherd's Pie was, however, simply amazing! I am not always a fan of lamb, but it was flavorful and rich. We finished our meal with the Carrot and Ginger Toffee pudding, which was light and spiced without being too sweet. The service here is what really stood out. We always had someone to check on us and the staff was efficient. Very nice and friendly people as well! Definitely give it a go!

Yelp
This enchanting place in the the London alleys behind Covent Garden is a Jewel of the culinary crown of the greatest city in the world.

Yelp
Anytime I am in London I take advantage of the great Indian cuisine. So I asked my colleague to take me to her favorite restaurant, and here is where we ended up. As soon as you walk in your senses hit you with a packed, semi chaotic room and smells that get you hungrier than when you walked in. The service was excellent from the time we walked in, and really couldn't decide what we wanted. The waiter recommended the "hot chaat", which was a mix of dumplings, very well done. For dinner we did the chicken leg curry along with samosas which was done to perfection. Although the curry was a bit mild for my liking, still a great meal.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
I would have given this place five stars because the food really is amazing here, but unfortunately the service is badly lacking. We let them know upon our arrival that we had a performance to attend in 90 minutes. They quickly took our food order, and gave us a drink menu. When one is given a menu, one would expect to be given an opportunity to order from the menu. Not at Cinnamon Bazaar. We asked three times before our drink order was taken. Our drinks were finally served after our appetizers were eaten, and the spicy food left us very thirsty. We were then given the desert menu before our mains arrived. We reminded them that we had not yet received our mains after waiting more than 45 minutes. Again we reminded them that we had a show to go to in less than 45 minutes. Our mains arrived shortly after and we thoroughly enjoyed them. After our dishes were cleared, we waited another 25 minutes before asking if we could get our deserts before we had to leave. Only one desert was served. We had to tell them there was no more time to sit and wait for our other desert as we only had 10 minutes to get to our show. Our bill was quickly given, and we left with barely enough time to get to our venue. The food that was served, albeit very slow, was hot and delicious - some of the best Indian food we've had. However, I would recommend going elsewhere if you're looking for dinner ahead of a show.

Yelp
Cinnamon Bazaar is a fun Indian pub in busy Covent Garden. I got the Lamb Roganjosh Shepherd's Pie (mainly because of the critical acclaim touted on the menu), and it was flavorful and filling! Prices here are a bit above what you'd expect to pay for a casual meal, but they're still affordable for a slightly nicer meal out. Overall an enjoyable dish, and I'd consider coming back.
google avatar

Melissa D.

Yelp
Delicious! We were trying to go to Dishoom, but little did we know, the line for Dishoom is hours and hours and hours long. So, rather than waiting three hours to eat, we made our way to Cinnamon Bazaar. And wow, am I glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks hit the spot, and the atmosphere was lovely. We had a wonderful time! And the best part was, we got right in! No waiting. haha. And to be honest... we went to Dishoom a few days later, and I actually liked this place a lot better!

Yelp
The incredible food did not make up for the horrendous and inexcusable service at this restaurant. Was so looking forward, as was suggested by friends. But left disappointed at the total disregard for our experience. And no apologies or angst from the server. Actually they sat us in the bar area so we didn't really have a server. The food was amazing however, once we finally got our food after several inquiries. No apology, no discount, no excuses. Plenty of amazing Indian food here. Skip this one.

Yelp
Cinnamon Bazaar is one of those Indian restaurants in London, where you can get good tasting food without paying high prices. Though you need to be prepared for the different menu. I tried 4 items - 1) Kachori Chaat: very good. In other Indian restaurants, this dish is served cold, but here it is served warm. 2) Papdi Chaat: excellent. This was my favorite amongst what I tried. 3) Mithai Chaat: very good. It is a combination of several desserts, namely, boondi, gulab jamun, rasmalai, ice cream drizzled with raspberry syrup. 4) Carrot Roll: good. Not what I was expecting. Food is good and restaurant takes reservation. There is one big problem which Cinnamon Bazaar has. The server/staff cannot explain a dish to you. I asked my server, if she could tell me what all was in 'Mithai Chaat' and the answer I got was, "ice-cream with syrup and popcorn. There's some more stuff too."! I also asked to explain Carrot Roll and was told that "it is red and black carrot rolled with ice-cream." Those answers should be unacceptable in any restaurant, because they were not correct. But for the lack of knowledge of the servers, I would give a rating of 5 star.

Yelp
Don't come expecting your typical curry house. Cinnamon Spice is a modern take on Indian food with a bit of fusion elements thrown in. The food is not heavy but light and fresh. My favourite dish was the Kolkata cod. The fish was flaky and perfectly cooked and paired well with the sauce. I also really enjoyed the papdi and kachori chaat. Vibrant flavours and lovely textures: creamy, crunchy, tangy, sweet. The barley salad was also very good. Amazing flavours and very fresh and light. It felt very virtuous to eat! The chicken biryani, black daal and stir fried greens were also good but not standouts. We had a great meal. This is probably wrong to say but I'm going to say it anyways: I would have liked some south Asian waitstaff. The only Indian person in the entire restaurant (aside from the kitchen) seemed to be the friend I came with. All the waiters appeared to be Eastern European! Not a big deal but it was just a little jarring.

Yelp
Only wine for wine and snacks at the bar My goodness the worst bar seats in the world! Terribly uncomfortable. Horrible wine glasses Bar area super messy Manager just sits on his laptop I'd be scared to eat dinner there

Yelp
this place is amazing. Such good food, service was really sweet, and everything was taken care of super fast. Would def recommend for a super tasty pre- show meal!

Yelp
Great food great service nice ambiance. I got the crab snack and the chicken leg curry! They were both great. Service was prompt. Left this restaurant full and happy with a delicious spicy flavor in my mouth. I also got the ginger toffee pudding for dessert and couldn't rate it highly enough, it was so tasty!

Yelp
The food is well prepared, a nice cozy atmosphere, with a nice menu. The portions are a bit small for the price, but it's possibly the location. The server also took almost 20 minutes to come to my table, and was quite rude; however, I tried to make the best of the evening. When I asked about their famous spicy sauce, they informed me that I could not try it unless I purchased the almost £20 item on the menu, quite weird, but ok. Overall, it was a nice evening. Book in advance.

Yelp
My wife ordered the tandoori prawns. The dish was sooo good we ordered another. We highly recommend that dish. I had the grilled lamb, which was also very tasty. The service was attentive and the staff seemed genuinely happy to see you. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

Yelp
Wow! What complex flavors and plentiful portions. We had the chicken Khari which was amazingly favorable and had unexpected gems of spice. Pricing was fair and service unrushed and friendly as our server helped us the the Chit Chat Chaat included with our meal.

Yelp
This place takes reservations unlike many places in central London where you have to wait sometimes more than an hour to get inside. Made a reservation ahead and were glad as there was line outside of people trying to get it, we didn't have to wait, our table was ready right on time. For appetizers tried few chaat dishes out of their huge chaat menu - everything was excellent - papadi chat was crisp had yogurt and Tangy tamarind sauce mixed in with vermicelli and chickpea. Had one purani dilli chaat dish which was superb. Also tried their aloo tikki chaat - great choice again. Went with the server's recommendations for the main course - had chicken, fish, lamb, Jaipuri style okra which was in a curry gravy. Got plain naan and tried couple of their stuffed naans which also were food. Everything about their food was unique, quantities were just perfect and absolutely great taste. For desserts had one of their chaat dessert - very different mix of couple of sweet things, again very good. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Indian food with a twist and will definitely go back here on my next visit

Yelp
was looking for something different after having loads of chinese foods for chinese new year. I search online and found this restaurant. when I walked in, the decoration seem like Chinese New year decoration with red curtains hanging on the ceilings. it look welcoming and create warm atmosphere. the £15 lunch menu is valuable to order with unlimited starters on the little trolley and you can choose your own main course.Foods quality is good and taste lovely. Tea pots is so colourful and special and the Indian masala tea is superb. I would revisit again.

Yelp
Yummy chicken curry, fast service and good cocktails. Unfortunately their internet were down I had to pay cash because their system can't take credit card. This place is not really an Indian restaurant it's like a fusion and lots of people come not overly crowded tho. The ambiance were okay and they have full bar. The food were good and would recommend for a bit of Indian fusion in Covent garden area.

Yelp
I booked a res through the savoy hotel. The food was okay but pretty sweet. I think they cater more towards non indians but ambience etc was great. Overall I liked it and i would come back.
