The 38 Best Restaurants in Phoenix | Eater Phoenix

"Owners Azher and Syed Uddin, along with Azher’s wife, Bhoomi, opened the restaurant to bring a broader, more personal lens to Indian and Pakistani cuisine — one that prioritizes warmth, accessibility, and dishes beyond the standard hits. Flat-screen slides near the counter highlight lesser-known items like baghara baingan or Andhra-style dosas, but the best way is to talk to the staff, who are happy to walk you through the menu. The dosa in particular deserves a moment: paper-thin, tangy, and crackling-crisp, slathered inside with fiery chile paste and paired with sambar and coconut chutney. There’s also excellent malai kofta, smoky tandoori, and Indo-Chinese dishes like Apollo fish and Gobi Manchurian, plus halal and vegan options. City of Spice isn’t chasing trends — just delivering real-deal flavor with zero pretension. Must-try dish: Order the Apollo fish — buttery, crisp, and lit up with ginger and garlic." - McConnell Quinn

Phoenix’s 12 Best Indian Restaurants | Eater Phoenix

"Even with the heavy competition on Bell Road, City of Spice stands out for its range, flavor, and consistency. The halal menu spans Indian and Pakistani staples — from buttery paneer tikka masala and smoky baghara baingan (eggplant simmered in spiced peanut-coconut gravy) to rich, slow-cooked daal. There is a strong showing of Indo-Chinese dishes like crispy Gobi Manchurian and spicy Apollo fish, both nods to the genre of Indian street food that fuses South Asian and Chinese flavors. Chole bhature — a North Indian favorite of stewed chickpeas with deep-fried, balloon-like bread — is hard to find in Phoenix, but they do it right here. Add in vegan and gluten-free options and genuinely warm service, and it’s easy to see why this restaurant has a loyal following." - McConnell Quinn

Absolutely one of our favorite spots for Indian cuisine! The food is incredibly delicious and tastes just like a homemade meal - so authentic and full of flavor. The spices are always perfectly balanced, and the meat in the main dishes is unbelievably tender every single time. We’re obsessed with their mango lassi - it’s the best we’ve had anywhere! Even though we live almost an hour away, we make the trip once a week because it’s that good. It’s become our go-to treat, and the consistency keeps us coming back. Highly recommend to anyone craving real, soul-satisfying Indian food!

Yours sincerely,

Google
A Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Indian Cuisine! I can't say enough good things about this amazing family-owned Indian restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that we felt like honored guests in their home. The owner is an incredibly kind and welcoming man, always making sure we were comfortable and happy with our meal. His son, who served us, was so attentive and checked in on us throughout the night, and his daughter even shared some laughs with us when my husband declared the tandoori chicken a 10/10 the best he's ever had! Speaking of the food...wow! Every single dish was bursting with flavor and made with so much love. The baghaar-e-baingan was hands down the best I’ve ever had, and I had my first taste of dal 😩 I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without it because it was absolutely to die for. The chole bhatura was delicious, the paneer tikka masala was rich and flavorful, and the garlic naan dipped in the daal and baingan? Omg, I can’t even describe how amazing it was! To top it all off, they even treated us to some samples of other dishes, which we’ll definitely be ordering next time. The hospitality here is unmatched, the atmosphere is bright and welcoming, and the place is spotless. Truly a hidden gem that I’m so happy to have found. They’ve gained a loyal customer for life, and I can’t wait to come back for more! If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering Indian food served with genuine warmth and care, this is the place to go. Highly, highly recommend! 🙌

Google
Hands down, amazing food! The malai kofta and saag chicken were so flavorful and reminded me of home-cooked meals. Loved the little details like chopped onions and spices in the curry. Service was great too! Definitely recommend trying this place out

Google
This is by far some of the best Indian food I've had in YEARS. We walked in and everyone in the restaurant was Indian so we took that as a good sign. And boy were we not disappointed. Every sauce had rich depth and so much flavor. There's not in the way of atmosphere but if you're looking for next level flavors, look no further! We can't wait to come back again.

Google
On a business trip, and found this great Halal restaurant. It was very busy and they have a very large selection on their menu. I ordered the beef tikka kebab and tandoori chicken. The portions are really big. Pretty much for two people. The price was reasonable for the amount of the portions. The beef tikka kebab was flavorful and just the right amount of spices. The tandoori chicken was amazing and a lot of flavor and spices as well.

Google
The service was good. The waiter checked in a couple times. I liked that we could choose a booth by the window but it shook with every movement. It's a casual place. Most people that came in had ordered takeout in advance. The menu is large with just the item names and prices. I docked points for food because they said my order could be no spice but it arrived too spicy for me to enjoy. The mango yogurt drink did help with that. It's quite sweet with no tang. I was able to eat the naan, though the 2 portions pictured were too much at once. It felt powdery, more charred on the bottom, with small juicy bits of garlic.

I had a great experience at City of Spice! The food was full of authentic Indian flavors, and everything I tried was delicious. I especially loved their Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan, Indian Chinese dishes, Chana Bhatura, Dosa, and Gobi Manchuria - each dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. What made the experience even better was the amazing customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a place with great Indian food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is definitely worth a visit!

Google
Really loved the dosas (especially the mysore, masala, and spring), gobi manchurian, samosas, chicken tikka wrap, palak paneer, aloo gobi, and their sizzlers are delicious! All their breads are incredible, and everything tastes fresh! For dessert, enjoyed the mango lassi, falooda, or gulab jamun. It's perfect after such a filling meal. They are so friendly and hospitable!

Yelp
Five stars is simply not enough for City of Spice, I'm serious! We have had some of the best Indian food here the two times we ate here. We actually ordered exactly the same meals to confirm our thoughts. Next time we visit, because we will, we will try other things and feel confident it will be just as delicious. So, onto our picks: mango lassi, veggie samosas, cheese naan, chicken butter masala, and chicken korma. Each and every dish was bursting with flavor, depth, and richness in all the right ways. I wanted to keep eating everything but was so full and still had enough for leftovers. You can taste the love and effort they put into their food. Everything came out hot and everything tasted fresh. The service was good and attentive and the restaurant itself is low-key, casual, and clean. I think most people take out but I love having the opportunity to sit down and chow down. Even though this spot is 30 minutes from us we will keep coming back!

Yelp
If you seek a higher plane of existence from your humdrum daily life, make sure you save some of the Apollo Fish to have cold, for breakfast, the next day. All will be revealed to you. Namaste..

Yelp
We came in for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon so the restaurant was rather empty except for one table by a family of 6. While waiting for my daughter to arrive, my husband and I decided to order first. I always gauge an Indian restaurant by the quality of their briyani so decided to order their boneless chicken briyani, chicken tikka masala, garlic cheese naan and their samosa. My daughter came in and ordered their chicken 65 and bullet naan. Their irani chai was the bomb. Sweet lassi was good too. And then the moment of truth. Their food passed my test. I love everything that we ordered. Soo good! Next time we're in town, we know where to go.

Yelp
I was surprised to see that I haven't written a review for this restaurant yet! We've picked up multiple times from City of Spice. Ordering and pick up have always gone seamlessly with kind and efficient service. We have tried the curry, paneer, and kofta dishes. I can't handle too much spice, and we've been able to order low spice entrees. The flavor and quality of every dish is incredible! We like to order these with naan and rice. Of note, dishes are all halal for those who are seeking this. This restaurant is no frills, dependable, consistent, and definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the valley!

Yelp
We've been here a few times & each time is fabulous. Everything here is amazing! So, if you are thinking about going...JUST DO IT!

Yelp
No frills establishment. Nothing fancy about it just straight up delicious food. Mostly seems to run on take out but we opted to sit in and eat. The menu is extensive with many non traditional items on it such as chicken tikka dosa with a sprinkle of indo chinese. We ordered a bunch of items such as - chicken tikka, lamb chops, seekh kebab. Everything came out hot and was marinated well. The lamb chops were packed with flavorful punches. Then for entrees, we got the daal makhani, chicken tikka masala and kadhai goat with garlic naan, bullet naan and cheese naan. Definitely one the best Indian establishments I've ate it.

Yelp
City of Spice is a very clean, plain restaurant without music. The date of this review is the day before Easter. The emptiness was not surprising. On another weekend visit, it was very busy. Premeditated dining is in order. The online menu is much more descriptive than the one they hand you at the restaurant. That one is plain black and white, with no description of the ingredients. They do have a book with pictures. If you want a more complete description, they will bring it to your table. There is one section where you can match the main ingredient with the cooking style you desire. Spice City serves bottled water at no charge. If you have made reservations, it will be at your table. Service is moderately paced. Our group of ten or so did not have a long wait for our food. The waiter delivered what each person ordered, without having to question anyone. It is the mark of excellent service. I ordered with no discussion of spiciness. . The Kadal Paneer was moderately spicy. If you fear the heat, say mild. Members of this party ordered it hot, and then complained that it was too hot. My advice is if you like hot food, keep quiet and let them decide. The portions are large. The rice is very nicely seasoned. It did not appear to be Basmati Rice. That would have added to the flavor. It also would have pushed up the tab. Basmati is not cheap. The restaurant justified charging a 20% service fee because this was a large group of about 10 people. In addition, they charged 3.5% if you used a credit card. I do not know about you, but I was able to taste the frequent flyer miles in the Kadal Paneer. At the back of the restaurant there is a very large high definition TV. It shows videos of the Indian Food preparation. It is very colorful and nice to watch. This is a very good clean and quiet restaurant. The emphasis is on food. The giant TV had pictures of food. The print menu did not. They did have a book with pictures of the food, should you need to see it before ordering.

Yelp
I come here at least once every couple of weeks, it is just that good. This last time I had their Garlic Naan, Gobi Manchurian, Chicken tikka, Butter Chicken. I must say I love this place so! The owner, Syed, takes great pride in the flavor and quality of his food and that care shows. Syed shared that they started this restaurant because they couldn't find any good Phoenix restaurants and he is preaching to the choir. I feel that way sometimes but boy do I appreciate that they did something about it. City of Spice's food is that good, beyond balanced, flavorful and so consistent. I love the owner too, he offers fantastic service and we enjoy visiting with him and I appreciate it's a family owned business with heart. The cauliflower is my new favorite, so full of flavor! This is such a hidden gem of a restaurant and I hope more people experience the delicious Indian food that is unprecedented.

Yelp
My first taste of panipuri and I am addicted! I did not eat in the restaurant so I cannot speak for the ambiance or service. Looking forward to trying more items from their extensive menu.

Yelp
My partner and I loved this place! The service was wonderful. We also got the onion pakora. The restaurant is small, but clean and easy to navigate.

Yelp
Food and service were great. Definitely would come back. Lots of variety on the menu and good portions. Most dishes can be made with your choice of meat, eg chicken, beef goat, lamb, fish, egg. Prices might be a little high for the inelegant strip mall setting but not so high as to keep me away.

Yelp
Love this place so much. I drive 30 minutes each way just for takeout. I also dine there and enjoy that even though the ambiance is more like a casual restaurant. The food and menu seem higher quality than the decor. Hole in the wall is the best way to describe. But I'm mostly about the food so I really enjoy City of Spice because their food is amazing. Pros 1. Amazing food. So flavorful. Lots of layers of flavor and spice. 2. The family that owns the restaurant is very nice and hospitable and they take pride in their cooking and their business. You can tell they do it with love. 3. Food always comes out piping hot and they use fresh, quality ingredients. Cons 1. The couple if times I've done takeout they stack the containers very high in the bag. The containers leak. So when I drive home and the tower of containers topple over, I have ended up with butter chicken (greasy) leaking in my new car. I unbag the stuff now and place each entree level on the floor of my car.

Yelp
Best Indian food I've had in Phoenix. I'm from Seattle where the restaurant scene is saturated with good Indian places, and this one keeps up with the best of them.

Yelp
The Chicken Tikka Masala Dosa was a very large portion and I was able to take it home and eat it for lunch the next day! It came with a side of chutney and sambar both of which were cold. One of them (the greener one) added a nice nutty flavor to the overall dosa which I thought paired really well with the dosa. The dosa itself was very crispy and flakey and acted as the perfect vessel for the chicken tikka. We also got a side of garlic naan which I think City of Spice has absolutely perfected. For ~$5 you get 4 slices of piping hot and absolutely divine naan that has garlic permeating throughout each bite. There are little charred bubbles throughout where the dough seared itself and these add a great element of texture and flavor. My boyfriend got the lamb non-vegetarian curry which he said was very generous with the lamb. He ate all of it up and the portion itself is quite big. The rice that comes with the curry pairs well with each grain of rice having a nice bite to it. My most favorite thing was the mango lassi. Both my bf and I got one and it is so SO creamy, thick, decadent, and packed with mango flavor. I could probably drink buckets of this stuff but my arteries might protest. I would return here just for the mango lassi! Overall, I'm glad I was able to have City of Spice again. It is a bit of a drive from central PHX but it is well worth it! 7.5/10 *Please consider checking out @leafynoms on instagram for more food reviews!*

Yelp
The best Indian Cuisine in town. I love it every time! The service is fast and well noted. One of my favorites!

Yelp
One of the top places I've eaten in Arizona. The food is perfectly seasoned. Meat was juicy and cooked to perfection. Everything we tried was amazing. Service was kind and helpful. Brought my brother who is super picky with Indian food and he loved it. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We had a group of 14 and decided to order a variety of dishes to try them all - one of the perks of having a big group, right? We even brought along 2 birthday cakes for our friend, which we were asked to put in the fridge ourselves - no biggie, we handled it. The only downside was that we were also asked to get our own drinks, plates, and utensils. And after dinner, we had to clean our own table for the cake. The service was minimal, to say the least. But hey, the food was delicious! Despite the minimal service, we still left a generous tip. In hindsight, maybe we should have tipped ourselves for all the extra effort we put in! Overall, the food was definitely the highlight of our experience at City of Spice. If only the service had matched up to the quality of the dishes.

Yelp
Randomly went to this spot last night with my friend and it was SOOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS! And the server looked like Zayn Malik so I was in heaven! Seriously though, we will be back to try more on the menu. The chili cheese Naan was sooooooooooooooo gooooood we were licking our plates after I can't stop thinking about it! So so worth it

Yelp
We have become regulars of City of Spice. Everytime we go to City of Spice it amazes me how empty it is considering how amazing the food is. Our first time there was January 1st, 2024. We were looking for an Indian restaurant on New Years Day and none were open close to our neighborhood except City of Spice. Since the reviews looked good we were excited to try it out. As we entered the dining establishment a member of the staff welcomed us with bottled water and menus. While we were pleased with the extensive menu we found ourselves having a hard time deciding what to order so we pulled up Yelp on our phones and thought we would select dishes using Yelp photos. Now admit it...some of you have done this! One of the restaurant staff saw us looking at photos on our phones and quickly brought over a massive white binder containing many of the dishes on food menu complete with a photo and list of ingredients. With binder in hand we were able to make our selections and we ended up ordering for an army or at least it felt like it. I can't say enough about our food choices. Each dish tasted unique from one to the next, unlike what we have found at other Indian restaurants in the area. When you are finished with your meal don't do like we did and wait for your check as the staff are waiting for you to come to the register to pay for the check. We learned this the hard way and waited a very long time thinking staff was just giving us time to eat our meal. Just remember if you are looking for good food and don't mind very little ambiance, choose City of Spice...you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
This review will be split into 3. Express version - try this place, you'll be amazed at the food quality, freshness, taste explosios, selection & service Minimal read - Opened since 2019, City Of Spice is literally the best Indian Food restaurant I have been in since living in the US since 99. Don't take my word for it, see how many other outstanding reviews COS has and visit. This is exactly what we did. The menu is extensively simple, there are so many traditional Indian dishes and many more tasty fragrant fusions which the owner excels at creating. Upon being seated we were given bottled water, no charge.... I've not seen another restaurant have this service, usually it's tap water, this is a great welcome. Come be treated as family by the staff and owners and enjoy the wonderful food. Extensive review. This has quickly become my new favorite, the owner Mr Azhar really made us feel part of the family on our first visit, making sure we knew exactly what we were ordering with their descriptive visual menu (ask for it). He and his son are working on tablet iPad menus this year so you can visually see and read up on his amazing food. Also very important to the owner is preference and allergies, Mr Azhar mentioned that he feels as a customer, you should have a choice that suits your experience and taste. If there's something that you cannot eat or do not like, they can customize your food experience. Ask about allergies is clearly mentioned on the menus. City of Spice takes passion in delivering a wonderful personalized eating experience. City Of Spice combines the Northern & Southern fragrant traditional foods and aims to bring some general favorite Indian food dishes you can find anywhere, but also has a passion to bring great unusual dishes to life. I consider myself an Indian Food pro, India food was a staple food option for me in London when growing up. City of Spice was able to customize an off menu dish for me and also surprise me with some wonderful new fragrant dishes. What was remarkable was that (if you see my photos) I ordered 4 different vegetable dishes and 2 Lamb entrees. Each dish was totally unique with flavors and ingredients. That was very impressive, most places the food tastes good, but the dishes meld into tasting roughly the same. Not here. While we were eating, another family had this huge pancake type dish delivered, it was like nothing I have seen before. We had to try it, Dosa, it's like a 2ft Indian crepe made of black bean and rice flour filled with a flavorful tomato based Spice and served with some relishes. City of Spice is located next to the bowling alley on E Bell Rd, plenty of parking,

Yelp
On a business trip, and found this great Halal restaurant. It was very busy and they have a very large selection on their menu. I ordered the beef, thick kebab and tandoori chicken. The portions are really big. Pretty much for two people. The price was reasonable for the amount of the portions. The beef tikka kebab was flavorful and just the right amount of spices. The tandoori chicken was amazing and a lot of flavor and spices as well.

Yelp
Some of the best Indian food I have had in a long time. Went with coworkers for lunch and everyone loved it. We will definitely be coming back. I personally got the samosas, garlic naan and the chicken dum biryani. The garlic naan was so delicious and had a bunch of garlic on it. The samosas were super flavorful and filling. The biryani was so flavorful, chicken cooked perfectly and was seriously amazing. The portion was large too, I had left overs. My coworker got the lamb one and said the same. I tried some of my coworkers butter chicken as well and it was really good. Excited to go back and try more items. The server was so sweet and friendly and kept checking up on us. Highly recommend if looking for amazing Indian food.

Yelp
We love this family owned restaurant. Always clean and attentive. Wide variety of food with helpful scrolling images. Not to mention the food never disappoints! Indian food at it's finest.

Yelp
Amazing Indian food!! Recommended by a friend for their authentic and delicious mix pf Northern and Southern Indian cuisine. The owner was super friendly and funny, she was happy to give her personal recommendations. Pretty chill/casual family friendly restaurant. Not fancy but such a gem. We enjoyed their spring dosa, tandoori chicken, garlic naan, butter chicken, and one more item I don't remember the name of...but these fried circular snacks where you put sauce in the center lol. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Tandoori chicken was tender and well spiced. The spring dosa had a nice cabbage filling inside. A little slow to give us water but they were so kind and chill about us bringing in some extra drinks and desserts to eat there. Definitely would return!

Yelp
Family run business and talk about great Indian food. Feels authentic and great menu. Will be back.

Yelp
Best Indian food in PHX, hands-down. Been here multiple times over the last 1.5 years and it always leaves me happy and full. Anything on the menu is delicious, my favs are the malai kofta, dosa, garlic cheese naan, butter chicken, and lamb biryani. The staff is also very kind and welcoming, always looking forward to my next meal here

Yelp
Wonderful food and attention to detail. The owner is actively working and talking to the people, ensuring everything was meeting the high standards he is keeping with food and service.

Yelp
Solid performance at dinner Saturday night, this brightly lit busy family spot was bustling. Service was friendly and prompt. Menu has no descriptions so we took our chances after asking a couple of questions. Our standard orders is chicken Tikka Masala and lamb Korma. Tonight we also ordered a cauliflower appetizer. Chicken was very tender and sauce was rich and delicious. There were a few pieces of green pepper otherwise no veggies. The rice was beautiful with spots of orange and yellow, perfectly prepared. The korma was also rich but not as creamy and nutty as others. Some of the lamb was gristle that should not have been served, but most pieces were tender. Garlic naan bread had huge chunks of imbedded garlic and a nice crusty outside. The cauliflower appetizer was breaded and fried, much to my disappointment. It was sauced with a tangy sweet and slighly spicy sticky glaze that was irresistible. I took in way too much breading for my future gut happiness because it was so yummy. That's on me for not asking more questions about preparation style before ordering. Bottled water and soft drinks unless you bring your own, but there is a convenient liquor store in the same plaza. This is a no frills spot but the food is excellent.

Yelp
Great food, very flavorful and authentic. Love supporting local family businesses that work hard, provide good service and are nice. Been there two times so far and they have been consistent.

Yelp
Top of the line Indian food. There is nothing better than walking into a restaurant and being greeted by the aromas of several different spices complementing each other as the dance around your nose. I knew then I was in the right place. I have been trying to eat less meat and Indian food is my go to because if it is cooked properly you won't miss the meat. The food was amazing, I was so impressed I went home and decided to order more food and pick it up. I love this place, yummy yummy yummy!!! If you like Indian food you will love this restaurant.

Yelp
I've traveled many countries and tried many different styles of Indian foods. Iv been to India, Singapore, etc . City of spice is one of the best In Arizona. All items are good and if you want spicy, ask for hot and spicy sauce, it's not on the menu.

Yelp
Love the Tikka Masala chicken! We tried the stuff garlic cheese naan and it was delicious! Have been here three times and each time super yummy with excellent service!

Yelp
Incredible!! My new go-to place! They have dosas!!! So yummy! They also give you rice with your dishes so you don't have to pay for rice. Best paneer! Had the korma, butter chicken, tikka masala, saag, and aloo gobi. All was fantastic. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the naan. It wasn't bad, just underwhelming compared to everything else. Will always order from here!

Yelp
It was my first time at City of spice, I loved it thanks to young men. the service was great. The food was delicious. Definitely will come again.

Yelp
I have been here multiple times. Everything here is from scratch. I have had the samosa's, chicken tikka masala, Dosa, Paneer Tikka Masala Dosa and tonight I'll be having the Lamb Biryani. I'm trying to make my way around the menu but I tend to gravitate to my usuals. The owners want happy customers and listen to what you like and your spice level. Everything from the flavor of the food, service and price are on point! I am entranced by the rotating videos of the food on the TV's which keeps me coming back to try something new. Thank you for being one of my go to staples!
google avatar

Allison W.

Yelp
Briyani chicken was absolutely incredible! One of the best places for Indian food I've had in a while. Flavors were perfectly blended and the chicken was just spicy enough! Highly recommend!

Mayo B.

Yelp
I tried the south indian Mysore masala dosa. Overall really good. They separated the potato curry from the Dosa which I prefer because then the oil and steam does not make the Dosa soggy. The taste of the dosa and the masala were really good. The sambar was nice and thick, not watery. Cons (minute bugbears): This should be a 4 star place but I always give and extra star for mom and pop stores. 1) The potato curry was a bit too sweet for my personal taste 2) The dosa was semi crispy and warm (rather than piping hot) 3) The mysore masala paste inside was different , disappointingly 4) I'm a big fan of the coconut chutney pairing which I would have liked several containers of instead of the standard 1 small container

Yelp
We knew were were in for a treat when we sat down and a spunky 9-year-old girl came over to take our order. Everyone calls her The Boss, a daughter of the owner/chef, and she is one of the many things that makes this restaurant magical. It's clearly a place that runs on family, spice and love. The food is unbelievably flavorful, and everything from the dosas to naan to drinks are made in-house. Even the rice is spiced and aromatic -- we mentioned this to the owner in surprise because we've had so much bland rice at other Indian restaurants, and he described in great detail how he flavors the rice with garlic, onion, cumin seeds and coriander to ensure that diners want to eat every single grain. It's attention to flavor and detail like this that make City of Spice the best Indian restaurant in the Valley.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely the best Indian food. Their butter chicken is to die for. It is a bit spicy but you can ask them to tone it down.

Yelp
Wow, what a meal!! Full of flavor and deliciousness in a very clean guest room. We ate the chicken tikka masala and the masala dosa. Butter Nana bread and plain were the perfect finish including the freshly made mango lasse that our 4 year old loved. We left very satisfied and will be back soon. Thank you.

Yelp
My second time eating Indian food. First time in the states. I will say the chicken tikka masala was amazing perfect for a full meal. The masala sauce was perfect for my spice. Along with some garlic naan. That naan was absolutely delicious so delicious that I ordered another order. The service was great has the waiter had patience to tell me the difference of masala as I don't eat Indian food on a regular basis. The owner came out and greeted us and gave a warm welcoming. He spoke about that everything is made from scratch. If I ever visit Phoenix again that will definitely be the spot to visit again!

Yelp
The best Indian restaurant. Food is very fresh, nicely spiced, with a wonderful choice of cuisine from various regions of India. The place was rather empty but we were rewarded with excellent specialities

Yelp
This is an incredible Indian spot to hit on a day out! We got the Chicken Tikka Dosa, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Goat, and Chicken Biryani! When we got there the waitress was very kind and prompt, we were offered a menu with very detailed food items and pictures. We started off with the Chicken tikka dosa. It was quite large and filling for 2 people. Very creamy and had the perfect contrasting texture with the crunchiness of the thin crepe. The sauces we got with it worked very well with the dosa as well. The Goat was the star of the show! Don't let the thought of goat scare you. It was fantastically flavored and perfectly tender. The creaminess and tang of the sauce pair nicely with the gaminess that usually comes with goat. The spice level was not intimidating, we got the spiciest level and it just added a kick. A true 10/10. The Lamb Vindaloo was good. It was a bit too tomato heavy but perfectly seasoned and toned down by the rice provided. The meat was tender and tasted very fresh. The chicken Biryani was delicious. The chicken itself was perfectly seasoned. Had a peppery taste and tasted very clean.

Yelp
I'm really enjoying trying the Indian food places in this area, there seems to be some good ones! I've seen pani puri online before and have anyways wanted to try it, I'm glad I did because I loved it! The daal fry was surprisingly a little bland which I didn't expect, I think I need something a tad spicier or more flavorful next time. My food was ready for pickup 10 minutes later than the estimated time I was given, but it was busy so I understood. Would definitely come back.
