Old-school Italian cooking & martinis in a mid-century-themed supper-club setting with a lounge.
"Club Lucky looks like a 1940s Italian supper club, so it’s bound to charm anyone who claims they’re an “old soul.” It turns out a lot of people feel that way—the huge main dining room with lots of tables and big leather booths is always crowded. The best way to enjoy this place is with a group, and prepare to sail away on a sea of martinis and red sauce. Order the fantastic handmade cavatelli in vodka sauce, and the lightly fried calamari as an appetizer. Most of the dishes here are meant to serve two, so we mean it when we say you should bring some friends." - john ringor, adrian kane, nick allen

"Like Tufano’s, Club Lucky gets extra points for just being so damn likable. This place opened in Bucktown in the early ’90s, and it’s meant to resemble an old 1940s Italian supper club. "Toasted Ravioli We took advantage of a warm, sunny Tuesday to sit outside at Club Lucky in Wicker Park. And while we’ve eaten at this Italian spot a bunch, this time we were able to try a special - the toasted ravioli. The housemade pasta was filled with ricotta and spinach, and managed to be both crispy and tender. And these crunchy raviolis paired with a sweet marinara are something we want to see on the menu full-time." - adrian kane
