9 Standout Spots for Brunch in Savannah

"Looking over Forsyth Park, Collins Quarter on Forsyth is only open for brunch or lunch. The spiced lavender mocha will satisfy any caffeine craving, while “mushies” on toast consisting of chevre, wild mushrooms, and kale pistou kickstart the morning. Yes, a full bar is available for those who want to sit at the tables, with a drink in hand, to watch the most visited park in Savannah come alive." - Barbara Skidmore

Great service, food, and atmosphere! We visited from out of town and thought this would be a great way to incorporate Forsyth Park into our trip- and it was! We dined early on a Saturday morning and I was worried it would get super crowded, but it really wasn’t too bad. The restaurant opens at 8 am, but the friendly host even started seating people a few minutes before 8 am which we appreciated. The server was extremely helpful and the food was delicious. They do have a “kids menu” but it is not printed. Without needing to ask, our waitress listed the kids menu offerings for us- my daughter got a kids waffle that didn’t come with any sides but you could add them on if wanted, and my son got the kids egg breakfast which included eggs, sourdough toast, and bacon— he loved the bacon! There was also a pancake option for kids. She also shared “lunch food” options that would’ve also been available at 8 am, which was nice to know about too. There are inside and outside seating options. It was hot, so we chose inside, and it was still beautiful inside. This was one of the most expensive meals of our trip, but I do think the food and atmosphere was worth it.

Great brunch spot! We loved the original location so decided to try this one. It did not disappoint. You can choose indoor or patio overlooking the park/playground. Food was great and served quickly even though the place was very busy. Anna, our server, was excellent. My shrimp and grits was exceptional!!

Very cute spot in the middle of Forsyth square. We came on a warm afternoon and were glad for the cool interior. I had a local very and the burger. My wife got the avocado toast, and my son got a brioche breakfast sandwich. My burger was solid, though the meat was a little overcooked. My wife liked ge avo toast, though the bread didn't hold up and got soggy. My son raved about the brioche sandwich, especially the onion jam. It looked amazing. Our waitress was really nice and the place has a bright refreshing vibe. It's worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a bite.

We went around 1130am today for brunch. We were serviced by Tyson, who did a fabulous job. Didn’t do too much, just enough to keep us satisfied, and we appreciated that. We got the hot latte coffee which was good but not my favorite in the area, and a sweet tea which u could never go wrong with. We also got the chicken and waffles, which tasted delightful, but in my opinion the chicken to waffle ratio was off. We also got the French toast, which was a 10/10. And lastly the bacon and egg brioche, which was a great balance of sweet and savory with the bacon and cheese. Thank you Tyson for the amazing service.

Google
First time here and I was happy I selected this place. Beautiful, kid friendly, atmosphere nice and top of the line service. We had Cooper as our waiter. Knowledgeable about the menu and things to do in Savannah with a bubbly inviting personality that alone will bring me back!! Food was good. Wait time was 1 minutes. Great drinks. 10/10

Google
Tried making a reservation but they don’t accept any here so you have to get here as early as you can. Came on a particularly busy weekend but thankfully for a party of two there was minimal wait time. The indoor space is lovely and has a bakery/coffee shop. There’s also a “drive thru” window for take out orders as well. Servers here are friendly and understanding. There was an error in my order and they were prompt to fix it. Started with their fried chicken out of curiosity and it was really good! For mains had the Bacon and egg brioche which I mistook for something else served at their other location but it was still decent. Loved the sweet jelly that added flavor to the sandwich. The French toast was great as well as a sweet treat to round out the meal. Had a good experience overall and would come back again.

Convenient and cute spot right by Forsyth Park. Pet-friendly, which is a big plus! It’s your typical brunch place, food was decent but nothing standout. What really made the visit enjoyable was the great service and the lovely outdoor seating. Chill vibes and a nice spot to relax, especially with a furry friend.

Google
Awesome service!! We were an eclectic party of 20 and our server Bella knocking it out of the park! She was so kind, patience, and hospitality! We had many unique asks and accommodations needed. She handles them all so well! Very thankful. We were blessed by her today! The manger staff was just as great! Amir greeted us and made sure everything was being taken care of care of! Food was great! Chia pudding and bacon were some of the highlights!

Yelp
Went for drinks on a recent trip, and OMG...the espresso martini was the best I've ever had. We went back for Brunch the next morning because everything on the menu smelled and sounded great, and it was hands down one of the best brunches ever!! We had Breakfast brioche sandwich- the combo of tomato jam and aioli is chefs kiss!! Chia pudding - So good chicken and waffles - chicken is slap yo mamma good I wish I lived closer, I would seriously dine here weekly We tried two other brunch spots, and they didn't even come close to CQB Shout out to Bella- she was so sweet!! I forgot our servers name for breakfast, but he was so nice...I think he's been there like 17 years. Yall should seriously put together a cookbook. I know 2 people here that would buy it in a heartbeat !!

Yelp
The ambiance of this restaurant was great, however if you are seated outside, beware of all the bugs flying around. The customer service was great. The chicken & waffles were a 10/10. The spicy chicken sandwich was okay. It was dry and hard to chew. But I would definitely go back again and recommend this restaurant to others.

Yelp
This is another popular brunch place that many recommend when you are in Savannah. This one in particular is located at Forsyth Park. They have a much bigger outdoor seating area compared to the other Collins Quarter in North Historic District, so it's perfect for those with dogs. I ordered the crab cake egg benny. I will say that I do like my eggs a little bit runny for egg benedict in general, which was not the case for my crab cake benny. That being said, it was still a delicious dish. Their grits is also one of the creamiest that I've had. I ordered the Thai iced coffee, which was a little sweeter to my liking, but nonetheless a very good addition to my breakfast meal. The service was also very on point. They brought water for the dogs and checked up on us multiple times to make sure that the food was to our liking. Everyone was just very friendly. Ambiance is also very pleasant since you are essentially located at Forsyth Park, perfect for a nice little stroll after your meal. There is a medium-sized parking lot in front of the restaurant, but I can imagine on the weekend morning it would be extremely crowded, so you might have to resort to street parking if that happens.

Yelp
Amazing brunch this morning. The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside. The mocktails are perfect and pretty to look at. The bacon on the brioche was delicious and the avocado toast was beyond the best we have ever had at a restaurant. I highly recommend trying this place out when visiting Savannah.

Yelp
Lovely brunch spot, especially if you eat outside on a nice day. Our party of 7 and a dog had a great meal and excellent service. I had eggs benedict and a Bloody Mary. Fabulous!

Yelp
How can you not have breakfast in the park, a la Tavern on the Forsyth Green?! We came when they opened on a beautiful Thursday morning and sat outside. It was still chilly, so I asked the hostess her opinion of where she recommend we sit (based upon sunshine and heater placement(. She dismissively responded, "pick any table." Our server was very friendly and personable! However, when I asked about the mushy toast, he responded, "I don't like mushrooms, so I can't say." I kind of feel like he could have told me what others think... The hubs had the chicken and waffle and said, "I've never liked chicken and waffles, but this was amazing!" The combo of flavors and textures was unbeatable. I did get the mushy toast. It was very good, it I feel it was missing something flavor-wise, given the stellar reviews of everything else. Maybe thyme? The thing that impressed me the most was the GF 3-seed bread. I'm usually the kind of girl who WON'T get anything GF because it's inferior, but this was delish! We didn't receive our Bloody Mary's until after our food, when I inquired. 4 stars because service was subpar, given the reviews on exceptional service.

Yelp
The service and food were outstanding! My daughter and son-in-law brought us here for a Sunday brunch. It was a nice day, so we opted for the breezy patio seating, although they have indoor seating as well. Lots of unique choices in the menu. I had the Turkish Eggs and a Spiced Latte. Phenomenal. I can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Located near the center of Forsyth Park, dining outside was just lovely. So glad we went to this location instead. We arrived around 1pm on Memorial Day and were pleasantly surprised there was no waiting. Our server was friendly and attentive. Amongst our group, we ordered the cheeseburger (there's only one on the menu), gyro, and waffles w/ mixed berries. Everyone was satisfied--gyro was ok but I wasn't expecting authentic or truly mind blowing just wanted something not too heavy. Their French fries are really good though! Nice plus: Dogs are welcome too!

Yelp
This was our third visit with the fam but first visit at the newer location. I prefer the original location, it's more intimate. The service and food alike were wonderful. It's our go to brunch spot when in Savannah!

Yelp
Delicious!! Perfect spot for birthday brunch with my nephew! We sat outside and our server was super!

Yelp
What can I say. This place ticks all the boxes. Location check- beautiful & central. Ambiance & vibe- buzzy & brunchy. Service- polite, friendly & quick. Food- out of this world delicious! I absolutely loved the spiced lavender mocha, spicy chicken sandwich & house espresso martini. The mocha is floral & chocolaty. The chicken sandwich is juicy, crispy & has the perfect spice kick. The espresso martini gets buzzed & kickstarted at the same time. It's a special spot & you must go on your next visit to Savannah!

Yelp
We first tried their other location and were blown away by their breakfast options so decided to go try this one at the Forsyth Park. We killed two birds with one stone as we got to explore the park before and after breakfast and had an amazing brunch while at it! The place is large and inviting, service was EXCELLENT. I wish I remember our servers name but she was amazing at suggesting things from the menu as well as drinks. The special coffee she offered (limited time in their menu) was mind blowing (a pistachio blend of some sort). Their food did not disappoint just like their other location. Will come back here every time we are in Savannah from now on.

Yelp
A lovely brunch restaurant within Forsyth Park. Soft and elegant decor gives diners a relaxing place to enjoy delicious offerings. Its lattes are top notch. My husband who is coffee snob was so impressed that he ordered two lattes. Recommend the chicken and waffle fare. Service is friendly and hospitable. Must stop if you are in Savannah.

Yelp
UPDATE - 3/30/24 My wife and I came back to Savannah for Easter and we just returned to Colins Quarter for brunch. This time I had the chicken and waffles (so did she) and it was the absolute best chicken and waffles I've ever had. There's no reason to order this entree anywhere else in Savannah. Nobody is going to top this. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the waffle had a great malted flavor, and the fresh fruit was divine. The jalapeño infused syrup is absolutely sublime. Not only did we have an excellent meal, but we had an incredible server, Bella. She was funny, knowledgeable, and took the time to make a connection with us even though the restaurant was exceptionally busy. Bella is a Savannah native, something that I'm sure is getting rarer as time goes on and she understands the importance of being an ambassador for her city as well as an exceptional server. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Heck yes, this southern food did not disappoint. 5 stars for a fancy southern meal. I'm not much of a brunch girl, I know, I know. But it's hard for me to wrap my head around paying a lot for breakfast I can cook at home. Collins Quarter at Foyster has a great patio view with lots of seating. We visited on a Sunday morning and were worried it would be super busy. We said first available and sat right away inside. The inside is clean and modern with lots of seating too. For our meals we like to split one sweet and one savory. So we ordered the Black Forest French Toast $15 and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich $16. Both were very good. I especially liked all the unique details of the french toast, there was crystalized mint and Oreo filling. The chicken sandwich was perfectly spicy with cucumber and seasoned fries. All around a great spot if you're craving southern food will visiting Savannah! We left feeling satisfied, really enjoyed the meal and quick service!

Yelp
JAKE!!!!!! Thanks Okay so sick breakfast, gluten free friendly !!!!! It's labeled obviously so you don't need to ask a billion questions to figure out what to eat. We sat inside, staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and worked together. But the real star -Jake Dude took good care of us, friendly, attentive, and personal. Was not annoyed when we asked for 2-3 things after food and coffee was dropped off. Even after we said we were good. Sweet guy!!!!!! As always TIP WELL!!!!!! Servers rule the world, and you're just living in it. Be sure to give em all the monies and be happy to not do shit and enjoy a meal

Yelp
Upscale brunch at Forsyth Park. Welcoming to both the casually dressed as well as those that fancied up. You can get SHRIMP AND GRITS all over Savannah but theirs is known as some of the best and takes a slightly different twist with a spicy tomato sauce. I ordered mine with a sunny side up egg. The runny yolk is heaven in the grits and tomato sauce. Mmmm My wife ordered the MUSHIES AND TOAST. Beyond the cool name, this was good. Three-Seeded Toast, Chevre, Wild Mushrooms, Kale Pesto, Shallot, Chives, Sunny Egg. It came with lots of mushrooms and had an earthy and herbal flare. For me, it needed salt to perfect the dish. This is a unique menu item that you won't find elsewhere.

Yelp
Y'all... I can't even, this place is southern food elevated. I always have mixed feelings about "brunch" spots but this is a spot above the rest. We got there around 10am on a Sat, which seemed to be a sweet spot before the crowds hit, and we sat right away. The space is beautiful indoors or outdoors, can't go wrong with where you choose. And even if you have to wait, Forsyth park is a beautiful place to wander around. Service was super friendly and she recommended her favs, the Spicy chicken sandwich $15 and Black forest French toast $16. Let me tell you, these were LIFE, I started talking in southern slang all of a sudden. I highly recommend it if you're in Savannah.

Yelp
It's our first time in Savannah and CQF was our first stop for brunch. Exceeded our expectations BY FAR! The food was delicious and presentation was high end. Our server Stevie was the cherry on top ! He gave us great service, recommendations on food to pick and places to go! I would come back and request him specifically! And the vibes are chill, friendly, pet friendly and everything that's right up my alley! Most definitely would come back next time in the historic district!

Yelp
Seasonal french toast- custard, really light, nice citrus, berries shine really well, plump strawberries blueberries, love the rice crisp yogurt balls, needs more of them, decent french toast, like the light taste of it. Maple syrup adds the sweetness, great it's on the side. Favorite dish Turkish eggs - Greek yogurt, tomatoes sweet, sundried, umami, falafels bad, whole Chick peas, bland, falafels are REALLY dry. Least favorite dish, but I love the tomatoes Spicy chicken sandwich - Really light batter, not that fluffy like tempura, a little mealy batter, almost like Chick-fil-A, spicy batter, spicy sauce has a bit of kick, spinach wish it was arugula to cut thru, needs some acid, fries underwhelming. Second favorite dish Crab cake benedict - hollandaise needs more salt, poached egg good, needs more flavor, crab cake needs salt, but overall decent Benny, love the side salad with the different color cherry tomatoes Great service, love the ambiance, food could use a little more seasoning. Would come here again with friends, for the vibes and not the food.

Yelp
Collins Quarter made me realize that I'm a brunch person and French toast might be my favorite food! We stopped by for brunch around like 1pm on a Saturday. There was a bit of a wait because we wanted to sit outdoors. I ordered the Wild Berry French Toast. It was probably the 2nd best French toast I have ever had. The fruit was fresh and it included a passion fruit and raspberry syrup. I didn't even use syrup! Also the French Toast had crystallized mint and these other crunchy pieces that added texture. Absolutely delicious! Just order this if it's on the menu because the French toast flavors are seasonal. 9.5/10 The crab cake Benedict was good too. 8/10. Presentation was cute. Also you might see bugs outside because this restaurant is in the park but they have oils to keep bugs away and your food comes pretty fast.

Yelp
The Forsyth Park location is a beautiful setting for a Southern brunch. The large outdoor patio, strung with lights, overlooks the park, could not be a better view. As they do not take reservations, we went on a Friday morning rather than the weekend, and were able to be seated right away. Their menu has so many great options. I had scanned the reviews and photos and picked their seasonal berry French toast based on this and it did not disappoint. I did not even need the syrup. The sauces and fresh berries added enough. The texture of the crystallized mint was just put it over the top. Everyone else in the group enjoyed theirs as well, and for a bit there was no talking. I would put at the top of your brunch list in Savannah. Drinking mimosas on their patio in the sunshine is perfect.

Yelp
Collins Quarter is nestled right on one of Savannah's famous squares. It is elegant, modern and clean. Decorated in pink and green, it is great casual southern dining. We sat inside but there are outdoor options available as well with heat. Our waiter was a delight. Gave his recommendations, was witty, attentive and excited to serve us. He even told us about the other locations. I started off with the best cup of coffee I've had. It was the Special of the Day, pistachio, with white chocolate and mocha. The base is Proud Mary coffee and it's excellent, bold and flavorful. My meal was the shrimp and grits. My wife ordered the Mushies and toast. Both were excellent. The biscuits here are a must do as well. Perfect with honey butter and raspberry preserves. The only let down was the hash browns. I wanted to see what they would do since everything else was so incredible. They were simply square hash browns. I'll be back to try all of the other incredible options. Great place for breakfast or brunch. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We sat outside in the beautiful Forsyth park. Overall it was a great experience with modern dishes and a great view. We got the bulgogi Benedict, chai, and the summer salad. Hands down this was one of the best restaurants on our week long foodie trip to Hilton Head, Savannah, and Charleston. The food was so fresh and the dishes were delicious. We felt great after eating breakfast/brunch there-- ready for a long day of exploring Savannah. -@cophiescrumbs on Instagram

Yelp
The location is fantastic! Right in the middle of Forsyth Park so the views are wonderful and seating outside is so relaxing. They do not take reservations so we were a little worried but we arrived around 10:20 with 6 people and were seated immediately. The menu has so many delicious options. Our table enjoyed everything we ordered. I decided on a cafe au lait and the seasonal French toast with bacon. So delicious! They cannot serve alcohol until 11am on Sunday but once they could we ordered some fun cocktails as well. This is a must visit while in Savannah.
google avatar

Meshel D.

Yelp
The food was amazing, I really enjoyed the experience. The waiter was awesome, I had the chicken and waffles with the berries and a side of grits. It's one of my favorite meals on vacation. My drink was great as well.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had breakfast here and I loved it! I wanted to go back every morning for the rest of our stay, however with so much to do in Savannah we opted to try a new place each day. We arrived fairly early, they opened at 8am and we arrived around 8:30am. We were seated right away and the restaurant was a little less than half full. At other times during our visit while walking around Forsyth park I noticed Collins Quarter get BUSY with a line and long wait. I ordered the chicken & waffles. If there is chicken & waffles on the menu... I'm going to order it! It was delicious. My boyfriend has the breakfast sandwich. He said it sat a little heavy in his stomach after but he's not usually a breakfast eater and maybe just had too much. I ordered English Breakfast tea and it was served in a tea pot with the cutest tea cup. (I love the small details). Overall it was delicious and you can't beat sitting outside with the view of Forsyth park.

Yelp
It was a beautiful but WINDY day... but at the end of the day, it was the perfect opportunity to brunch in the park. LITERALLY there were menus & furniture flying around - we even witnessed a mid-sized tree branch fall (no one was harmed thank god). After a weekend of heavy food and drink, I was happy to see some lighter options on the brunch menu. My friend ordered the lavender lychee martini which was a sweet and floral way to start the meal. I saw chia pudding on the menu and INSTANTLY knew I needed it. While it may not look as cute as it does on the picture online, it was still colorful and tasty without being super heavy. The Raspberry French toast was a fruity summery dish for that sweet tooth. My favorite bite was definitely the mushies & toast. I love a savory dish at brunch and give me mushrooms on ANYTHING. I'm not vegetarian or vegan but I wasn't missing meat ONE BIT. Service was a bit slow - probably my one complaint. It took QUITE a while just to order and then a little while longer to get our food. Otherwise, I had no complaints about the food! I definitely don't mind stopping in again next time I'm in town but probably NOT at peak brunch time.

Yelp
The greatest feature of this place is being in the park. That makes it a super convenient location for when there are events going on in the park. It would be nice if they had a text back system for reservations, so you could walk within a reasonable distance, but as far as I know you need to be within hearing range of your name being called out. There is great seating both inside and out. Inside feels a bit like a diner, but it still is open and bright so you also feel like you are still attached to the park. Service was great as was the food. Bacon & Egg Brioche Roll - Cheddar, Arugula, Over Easy Egg, Smoked Bacon, Bacon Jam, Caramelized Onion Aioli & Hash Browns, was very satisfying, and it was interesting to see the hash browns looking like little waffles. Though I didn't get a chance to taste the Black Forest French Toast - Tart Cherry Compote, Mixed Berries, Cocoa Brioche, Cherry Whipped Cream, Oreo Crumbles, Crystalized Mint, that was also tableside it looked absolutely amazing!

Yelp
My wife and I stopped here for lunch one afternoon and sat outside to get a great glimpse of the park. The staff was very helpful and quick to serve us. The menu offers quite a variety, and it is a challenge to figure out what you'd like to eat. We chose the Black Forrest French Toast and Bulgogi Benedict as they were completely unique. The french toast was wonderful and was almost a dessert. The portion was quite large. The Bulgogi Benedict was certainly different and delicious. The eg, meat, and spices made for a unique flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant. The only thing that was a bummer was the massive amount of flies terrorizing us during lunch. As soon as the food came, a swarm of flies really annoyed us to a point where we nearly went inside to eat. The restaurant has anti-fly solution on the table, but it really doesn't work that well.
google avatar

Josie G.

Yelp
Didn't plan on coming here but we stumbled upon it while walking around the park after visiting the farmers market. We had already tried the downtown location so we were eager to try this one too. We were seated pretty quickly and were surprised to find that the menus had many differences but everything still sounded so good. I preferred the downtown location but this one was still yummy, only downside is that it took a really long time to get our food, which is my reasoning for four stars. The food was presented beautifully and had really good flavor!
google avatar

Gina D.

Yelp
Love this place but the bugs outside were hard to deal with. The staff kept apologizing for the flies. The food and drinks were great and the kids loved being able to play in the park!

Yelp
Service was attentive, the ambiance was casual and welcoming feel but fast paced - we had six people early in the morning on a Saturday . I was told it's more relaxed and slow paced in week days . Now, food was home run . We had chicken waffles, crab Benedict , and French toast - all were delicious in presentation and everyone had nothing but good things to say about the foods taste . Highly recommended for someone looking to experience the gems of Savannah while walking in the squares in town or passing through before going to the airport .

Yelp
Collins Quarter at Forsyth came highly recommended by a couple of friends, so we made sure to cross this off the list of places to eat in Savannah. Tip 1: go early. Tip 2: don't go on Saturday. We explored the area on Friday at around 9am, and got outdoor seats right away, and I noticed that it got busier afterwards. We went back to Forsyth square the next day for Saturday market, and Collins Quarter had a line to get on the waiting list. You get a beautiful view of the park while seated outdoors, and if there is a slight drizzle they have umbrellas. The service was very good. The reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars is because of the food and drinks. Everything comes out super pretty and instagrammable, and I was very happy with how my peach french toast tasted (seasonal flavor, I recommend it), but the Vietnamese coffee was lacking. Also, they have to do something about the flies. When my husband went to the restroom, I wasn't able to eat a bite because I spent the time shooing all the flies trying to get into the coffee/his food. Maybe little outdoor fans would help with that issue, surely this is a weather thing too as a breeze would deter flies, just so happened that we were there when it just rained and there was no wind at all. Overall, it's a great experience and I do recommend it when visiting Savannah.

Yelp
Finally tried the Forsyth location & honestly... I think I now prefer it to Bull St.! Location/Atmosphere: Perfect spot to stop in for brunch if spending time at Forsyth Park. Expect to wait on the weekend. Loved the option for indoor or outdoor seating (although if you're going in June/July, I'd recommend indoor). They even have a walk up outdoor window & indoor counter you can order from. Food: I got the Chicken & Waffles and was very impressed - so tasty & I loved that it didn't leave me stuffed. My husband got the Bulgogi Benedict & he thought it was flavorful. I also loved my Espresso Martini with tequila! Price/Service: This was my only critique. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary w/ an extra shot of Tito's & it was $12 for the extra shot... ON TOP of the $12 drink itself. Not to mention, adding bacon was $3. When we received the bill, we tried to sort the pricing out with the waitress, as we didn't want to pay $27 for ONE Bloody Mary, but she explained that this was the "new way" most places were charging for an extra shot these days. The drink was great, but not almost $30 great. All in all, the food & vibe was a positive experience - we'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Right in the center of Forsyth Park. Plenty of beautiful outdoor seating and nice indoor area as well. Not their fault - but if flies bother you, opt to eat inside as they're pretty prolific here. Luckily, we were set by an outdoor fan which helped deter them. The menu has lots of choices from breakfast to lunch items, 10 mimosas to choose from, wine, beer and lots of great sounding cocktails. We shared every item we ordered and all of it was great! The service impeccable. Other than the flies, I have no complaints and therefore they get a 5!

Yelp
Service, Food, Atmosphere get a huge thumbs up from us!!! Would gladly return. I wish we could keep the bugs away but that's the nature of outdoor eating.

Yelp
Really Good Avocado toast! Hubby had the mushroom toast which was also good (I tried it ) The place is bright full of plants and really nice bathrooms too lol I love the historic buildings in Savannah! Only one issue - my first cup of Joe came in a used coffee cup with obvious lipstick smudge from the previous user Our waitress fixed the issue pronto and was very apologetic!

Yelp
You're paying more so for the downtown location and the touristy lists. The parking is terrible and always full. Too many flies outside but no more seating inside. Our waitress got us some pineapple to help keep the flies away which was nice. Our waters had some black stuff in it and the ice tasted like freezer burn which ruined the flavor of the ginger peach tea. Thankfully it was shaded and there was a little bit of a breeze flowing so it was still a pretty day to eat. The shrimp and grits tasted like lasagna. Not what we were expecting with shrimp and grits. ($18) The falafel side was not that good I saw another table didn't finish theirs either. The avocado toast was really pretty but it was alright like your normal avo toast. Same with the crab cake and gyro. Pretty pricey for average food but historical downtown Savannah they gotta pay the rent somehow.

Yelp
I dined here twice in one day...and three times in 25 hours so it must be good! We were staying across the street at the Mansion at Forsyth, so Collins Quarter is the closest, best restaurant around. The outdoor patio is the spot to be on a nice morning or afternoon with the beautiful surroundings of Forsyth Park. On a Friday morning, the patio was about 2/3 full by 9:15 in the morning but I imagine it gets quite busy on a weekend morning. I had the mushies on toast (which is a pretty terrible name), but it's quite tasty; wild mushrooms with a fried egg on top of toast with chèvre. The toast gets pretty soggy, so I added a side of hash browns as my crunchy carb. These aren't the classic shredded flat hash browns but more like potato discs. In the afternoon, I returned for a late lunch which ended up being their pub menu (after lunch time) which is quite limited in its offering. I shared the summer salad (kale, peaches, watermelon, prosciutto) and the noodle salad (with tofu); neither was particularly good, but I don't think you go to CQ for salads. For my second breakfast, I had the fried chicken and waffles with their special maple syrup. I got the maple syrup on the side which was the way to go so I could control the amount of syrup. The fried chicken was crunchy and juicy, and the Belgian waffles (two of them with the order!) had that yummy crystallized sugar on it. The location is awesome, located on the edge of Forsyth Park. There was a band playing on Friday afternoon which can get a tad loud if you're trying to have a conversation. Drinks to go are also available.

Yelp
We came here as it was right inside the park and wanted to explore it right afterward. This is a great brunch spot, and it was decently priced as well. It won't break the bank. There's seating indoors and outdoors, which is great. Just wish the bathroom situation made sense. There's a long line for the ladies' room since you're sharing it with the people who go to the park. The server was great, and what they served on the menu too, which you get from the QR code. I ordered the Turkish eggs as it sounded good and different. I'm not a huge fan of falafels, but I made an exception. Everything around it was really good, like the poached eggs and the chili oil. I really liked my food and recommend this place.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. My partner and I went early for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was lively for 9am. Food came out super quickly and did not disappoint. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm visiting.

Yelp
Ordered a cappuccino and a coffee at the window . It took 20 minutes to deliver ..they definitely need to split window orders from restaurant orders . I don't even want to know how long wait is if you order food Location is great s service is not

Yelp
Absolutely loved our brunch here!! Shoutout to our awesome server Stevie (like Stevie Wonder and Stevie Nicks he told us). I researched this restaurant before our day trip to Savannah and knew this is where I wanted to go for brunch based on the great reviews and location. We easily found free street parking a few blocks away on a Friday afternoon. We saw the back of the restaurant first which is on the backside of the park and had a bunch of homeless people hanging around. Once we walked around and saw the front of the cute restaurant with the huge beautiful Christmas tree we felt a lot better. To our surprise we were seated right away. Stevie greeted us and mentioned a few of the top recommended menu items. I ordered their signature spiced lavender mocha: Espresso, Condor Chocolate, Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Lavender, and my boyfriend got a blood orange mimosa. I already knew I wanted to order the crab cake benedict: Maryland Style Crab Cakes, Buttermilk Biscuit, Hollandaise, Poached Eggs, Side Salad. Scott ordered the chicken and waffles once Stevie recommended it. It included tempura Fried Chicken, Belgian Waffle, Buffalo Syrup, Mixed Berries. He was sure to mention that the buffalo syrup was hot, so Scott ordered regular syrup instead. We both seriously enjoyed this brunch. Every bite was amazing. The food came out quick, hot, and fresh. My coffee drink was also heavenly and not too sweet surprisingly. My only complaint is that the bathrooms seemed to be part of that public park where people were hanging around. I went from a very pleasant brunch into a dirty run down bathroom. Overall this was a fabulous brunch! Stevie gave us suggestions for where to go for dinner (The Fitzroy) and we visited! We will absolutely be back! 5 star experience!

Yelp
Came here while on a girls trip, we usually like to try different restaurants and avoid going to the same place twice in one trip. This restaurant was too good to pass up on the second and last day we were there the breakfast is delicious, coffees are amazing, service was the best. The team members helped each other consistently with each other's tables. Highly recommend a visit if you're in Savannah!

Yelp
Very busy spot for brunch but we had a very short wait for a table. Our server was very nice. I split the park burger and beet salad with my husband. I found the burger a bit dry. Perhaps the beef is just really lean. The beet salad was good. Wish it had more goat cheese.

Yelp
The Collins Quarter at Forsyth - which is in Forsyth Park - was the perfect place to land on a beautiful spring day. They do not take reservations, but we put our name on the list and strolled around the park until they were ready for us. We sat on the patio and were treated to excellent service and innovative food. The bagel and lox, for example, sounds ordinary enough, but the cream cheese was lemon scented, the red onions were pickled and the capers were fried. These sort of twists delight me. My partner had the chicken and waffles, which came with jalapeno syrup - although you can get the regular stuff if you prefer. A relaxing place for lunch. Note: the indoor area was very noisy so I am hesitant to recommend on inclement days.

Yelp
This popular restaurant is located across from our hotel. I went there for my last meal in Savannah. I had the fish and chips, not greasy and fresh fish. The service is excellent, busy lunchtime without any hassle. Friendly people and simple surroundings.

Yelp
We stopped in for a late weekday lunch. It did not take reservations but with a group of 9 we were seated within 30 minutes. It had a large outdoor patio with lots of seating. We shared a bunch of different plates so I'll summarize below. Overall a wonderful lunch. Enjoyed the afternoon live music as well. I had the green light drink - cucumber gin and lime and honey simple syrup - not too sweet and superb! Highly recommend. - favorites: gyro and burrata and summer salad - gyro - large portion, super tasty meat, super delicious! Tzatziki sauce was on point!l - burrata - A plus, fresh, great medley of flavors - very good: - spicy chicken sandwich - large portion, topped with a not too spicy BBQ sauce and lots of fries - bulgogi roll - everyone loved it except me - beet salad - super fresh Skip the noodle salad - a bit bland (Did not try the golden beets salad because beets aren't my thing but others really liked it) Great ambiance and food! Location and view can't be beat in Forsythe park
