I usually don't leave one star reviews, but Northwest, y'all earned this one...
I've attended several concerts at this stadium, but the experience on July 7th for Beyoncé was by far the worst. There was absolutely no line control. The staff seemed confused and disorganized from the start. One staff member repeatedly told our group to move to different lines, only to later admit she had made a mistake, multiple times. At one point, she even asked us which line was which, having confused the General Admission and Executive Suites lines.
To make matters worse, we were standing outside in the heat with little to no shade, stuck in the wrong line for an extended period. It was almost unbearable. Even after all of that, two other staff members came by 20–25 minutes after the gates had opened to inform us we were still in the wrong line and needed to walk further down the sidewalk. Apparently, there were six different entry lines, none of which were clearly marked. We never would’ve known if those two hadn’t come over.
The chaos didn’t stop there. The merchandise areas on the upper levels were just as disorganized; limited stanchions, no clear direction, and no staff managing the crowd. At concessions, no one seemed to know how to use the touchless payment system. It took me 10 minutes to buy a pretzel and a bottle of water because, after the system kept failing, the staff kept ringing me up for the wrong items.
Overall, it was a frustrating, exhausting, and poorly managed experience from start to finish.
ALSO, given the extreme heat, it’s hard to understand why there aren’t shuttle services running from the Metro to the stadium. Expecting attendees to walk nearly a mile in such conditions is not only unreasonable, it's unsafe. Some basic consideration for the comfort and well-being of guests should be a priority.
Note*** The pictures attached show us standing in various lines that had no clear ending and turned out to be the wrong line THREE SEPARATE TIMES due to the staff being confused!
