After spending most of 2020 playing in an empty stadium because of COVID-19 restrictions, the team worked to improve the game-day experience by recruiting small businesses to operate concessions; in June they invited a panel of local chefs, team executives, food writers, and influencers to judge vendors, and as a result eight restaurants were chosen to start selling mumbo sauce wings, quesabirria tacos, and fried shrimp and crab cake sandwiches during home games.
