The Best New Restaurants in Miami, March 2025

"Just weeks after opening, Cotoletta is drawing crowds to Coconut Grove for its focused approach to Milan’s iconic veal cutlet. The 50-seat bistro, lined with photos of the owner’s family members from Italy, offers a straightforward $80 prix fixe menu for two, including seasonal antipasti and its namesake dish: Cotoletta alla Milanese. Executive chef Giulio Rossi’s version is seasoned with rosemary and lemon zest and accompanied by classic sides like spaghetti al pomodoro or a simple arugula salad. Don’t skip the vanilla affogato supreme for dessert." - Olee Fowler, Eater Staff

15 Best Italian Restaurants in Miami

"As the name suggests, this Coconut Grove newcomer is all about one Milanese classic: cotoletta alla Milanese. The $80 prix fixe menu for two keeps things simple and satisfying, featuring a spread of antipasti, the signature veal cutlet, and a choice of three sides, including spaghetti al pomodoro e basilico. For an extra $9, diners can end on a sweet note with a flourless chocolate cake. The drink list leans Northern Italian, with picks like Chianti Classico and Gavi, plus Italian beers and Prosecco-based cocktails." - Eater Staff, Alona Martinez

Cotoletta - Review - Coconut Grove - Miami - The Infatuation

"Your prefrontal cortex, the part of your brain that handles decision-making, gets to take the night off at Cotoletta. That’s because the Coconut Grove restaurant has one main dish on the menu: a cotoletta, which comes with two antipasti and two sides. The prix fixe meal feeds two and costs $80. The antipasti are out of your control but you can choose between four sides (we like the salad and fries the most). photo credit: Cotoletta photo credit: Cotoletta To get here, you must summon the courage to pick up the phone and make a reservation. It’s a stressful hurdle for some, but after that, dinner is a seamless series of wine, lemony veal, and dessert. Even though the titular cotoletta isn’t mind-blowing, there’s just something about this place that elicits a smile. Maybe it’s the simultaneous lemon squeezes around the room, the rows of necktie drawings along the pink wall, or the fact that eating here feels like being a member of an oddly specific veal club. And while the menu is designed for an even party, they’ll alter portions if, say, you’re an only child going out to eat with your parents. Food Rundown photo credit: Cotoletta Bruschetta The antipasti you receive are out of your control. And the first is a simple bruschetta that you can’t get mad at because it’s topped with delicious stracciatella. photo credit: Cotoletta Arancini The truffle arancini is part two of the antipasti. The rice is a bit gluey but when you drown it in parmesan sauce, you’ll stop focusing on the sticky rice, and start plotting ways to hijack more of that sauce from the kitchen. photo credit: Cotoletta La Cotoletta Alla Milanese It’s about the size of your forearm, crunchy, but it’s missing salt and maybe an accompanying sauce to make it extraordinary. So squeeze the living hell out of the lemon it comes with. That’s what gives this breaded veal the acidity it yearns for. photo credit: Cotoletta Pasta Al Pomodoro Ask for parmesan to make this OK red sauce pasta a little better than OK. photo credit: Cotoletta Insalata Di Rucola For a meal that will 100% revolve around a huge fried slab of meat, an arugula salad is a smart choice to make for one of your sides. But you should also get the french fries—those are really good too. photo credit: Cotoletta Tiramisu It’s good tiramisu, but we wish it had a more intense coffee flavor to even out the thick squiggle of mascarpone." - Mariana Trabanino

I visited Cotoletta for the first time last Saturday, and honestly, I had never left a restaurant feeling so happy. It’s a simple yet brilliant concept: a fixed menu that includes two appetizers, a Milanese to share, and two sides—either pasta, fried zucchini, or French fries. To drink, they serve exquisite wines poured directly from the bottle. The atmosphere is spectacular. Every detail is unique and transports you to another place, making you feel as if you were truly in Italy. The waitstaff and assistants had great energy—quick, attentive, and welcoming. The food was exquisite, executed to a level of perfection that’s truly admirable. When offering a fixed menu, everything has to be flawless, and they absolutely nailed it. Everything was so delicious. Honestly, I had never left a restaurant with such a strong desire to return. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this culinary experience possible!

$80 for a milanesa and two sides. You’ll each also get a bruschetta appetizer and an arancini. Veal is delicious. Not too thick, not too thin. Fried zucchini is delicious but tastes more like onion rings. A simple concept done so well

Google
Literally the best meal I have had in a long while. Simple concept, simple food cooked to and served with perfection - not an easy thing to do. They serve one thing and it is amazing. The special pasta was the bolognese, so delish. The cutlet was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Now the topper was dessert. I don’t like Tiramisu but we had it and I think I am a convert! This was sinful and light, and full of the right flavors. I will be back everytime I pass through Miami!! The food and the service … Chef’s Kiss

Google
The service was flawless. The arancini were spectacular! But the rest was okay. I really liked the small menu which should make things easier when you talk about quality controll. But the COTOLETTA wasnt evenly fried, too thick on some parts. You can see what I am referimg too in the pictures. Good flavor but un even cooking on the main dish. That not good for me. The side dishes were good too. I really liked that they speak in italian to you there, and that there was a manager/boss etc who was checking on our table regular. Recomended

Google
Really great experience. feels like you’re in a restaurant in Italy with the all Italian staff, the simple seating arrangements and the deliciously authentic Italian cuisine. Must try. In case you have not heard—it’s essentially a prefixed dinner. For appetizers, they start you with 2 truffle arancini balls and a bruschetta. I’ve never been one for arancini but the breading and truffle cheese sauce was so light and rich as well as perfectly fried. The bruschetta was so nice as well. The stracciatella, oil and tomatoes were fresh and creamy with the perfect crunch from the garlicky bread. For entree they bring you out the veal Milanese which was pounded, breaded, fried and salted to absolute perfection. I’m Italian myself and I don’t think I’ve ever ordered a veal Milanese because it’s just never at the top of my list, but this was a great entree. Along with the Milanese you can choose 2 sides from penne pomodoro, zuchine fitte (fried zucchini sticks), a salad, fries, and the special of the day was a penne bolognese. We orders the zucchini fritte and the bolognese. The zucchini was lightly battered, fried and salted to perfection. The bolognese was with penne which is not how I love my bolognese paired, but regardless the sauce was really good. We did not get any dessert because we were just too full. But supposedly the desserts are fantastic as well. It’s a great change of pace from the typical miami restaurants. And so authentic too which I so appreciate.

Dining at Cotoletta was delightful. The food (Milanese) was exceptional, the staff attentive, and the ambiance was perfect for a cozy evening. Highly recommended.

I never leave reviews. Even when it’s a bad experience. I actually left this place yesterday extremely disappointed and I was not planning to leave any review, until I got home with food poisoning and vomited twice. I went to eat here alone, after a long day of work, the girl seemed already with an attitude cause I was by myself, apparently they don’t have menus so I’d had to ask for the price of things, and she would roll her eyes at me — I ordered the milanese, soggy, uneven crisp, no flavor despite putting like 1lb of salt, fries were greasy, fried on rancid oil, unsalted, no matter how much salt i added, the food would still be tasteless (the arancinis and bruschetta were good, I’d say that) The manager girl came to me with her arrogant face and asked me if something was wrong, and I explained, she told me that the uneven crisp in my milanese was because I squeezed the lemon, and rolled her eyes… i’ve had Milaneses in Italy, in Germany, in Argentina; in way too many good restaurants around the world. I’m also a cook, and Italian, I know how a crispy Milanese should taste like, the ones I make at home are ten times better. The story here is that, as I was waiting for the bathroom, I noticed the kitchen looked extremely dirty and there was smoke from burnt oil, but I let it pass. Then, while i was in the middle of my meal outside, I saw a german cockroach crawling on the window right next to me. I didn’t really bother or care because I was sitting out in the street, so a cockroach could be normal, but not a german cockroach, those are different. The reason why I am leaving a review today, is because of the sum of bad experiences aside from the bad meal, but including a night of vomiting and a freaking german cockroach. Avoid this place, it’s not worth the hype at all. I love aesthetic places, that serve good quality and are detail oriented, the only cute thing about this place is the Cotoletta sign outside.

As French we are always looking for real European taste to bring us back “home” when we need it. This place is definitely going to take you in Italy 🇮🇹 the single menu is so convenient when you are a group, and since they do few things they do it perfect 🤌🏻 the service is good, the price is so correct for the quality and the Miami food scene. The only thing that can be a downside is that the space is small (like in Europe 😅) and you don’t get to “enjoy” the experience as much as you would in an American like restaurant !

Yelp
Cotoletta is truly one of the most unique dining experiences I've had in a long time. The concept is simple ...there's only one thing on the menu, and honestly, that's all you need. For $80 (for two people), you get a beautifully curated meal that includes two appetizers and a shared entrée, the cotoletta. It starts with a bruschetta and an arancini which is a truffle infused rice ball that's deep-fried to perfection. I've had arancini before, but never like this. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely phenomenal. Then comes the main course , the cotoletta , a perfectly breaded veal cutlet served with lemon. It's meant to be shared, and it absolutely lives up to the hype. Crispy, tender, flavorful... I now understand why this place is getting so much attention. Sometimes simplicity really is the secret. While we waited for our table, we checked out 3190, a newly opened wine bar just a couple doors down from the same owner. It had such a cute and cozy vibe, perfect for a pre dinner drink. They also offer a small food menu (just lasagna!) which looked incredible. I'm already planning my next visit just to try that. Cotoletta and 3190 are doing something different and it works. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
*REVIEW IS ONLY ABOUT THE SERVICE* First off, the food at Cotoletta is really, really good. No complaints there. However, I recently tried to go again and the manager delivered such an awful customer service experience that I feel compelled to share so that they (he) can improve. We attempted to walk in at 5:30PM (opening time) on a Saturday (just 2 of us). As we are local and have done a walk-in before, we didn't think this would be an issue. We actually arrived at around 5:25 to ensure it wouldn't be an issue so as to beat the rush of the 6PM+ crowd. Upon entering the manager asked if we had a reservation. We said no, just walk-in. Now, mind you, there were ZERO people there at this time. None. Just the manager and a waiter. Chairs were still on tables as they were preparing to open. Manager returns, I can give you a table outside. Again. There are ZERO people at this time. It was 90 degrees and humid so we let him know we did not want outside. Manager replies "ok let me see what I can do." At this point it was actually insulting that the manager had to "check" to see if he could fit us in when zero people were there. We told him forget it, we don't need all the headache and BS just to walk in and try to spend our money and to be told they weren't sure if they could "fit us" in an empty restaurant. I understand that a popular restaurant may be full with pre-committed reservations, however, it doesn't take an MBA in customer service to know you can squeeze in 2 people into an empty restaurant and that you will be able to operate just fine. I also don't fault the restaurant for this so much as the manager who was running the place at that time. We'll definitely be back for the food, but try to up your customer service for local walk-ins, please.

Yelp
What a great experience we had at Cotoletta! I need to confess I was a bit annoyed reservations were only via phone call - but i really wanted to check it out so I called and they made my resy for the next day right away. So from that phone call to the actual dinner, its fair to say the service was incredible. The "one option" menu makes our lives easier and every plate was delicious, but the Milaneze is really the star of the dinner! It was so big - we both ate and still took leftovers home. We also loved the house white wine - really light and refreshing, perfect for the miami heat. The place is really small (the tables are very close to each other) and can get a little loud, but i think its good for a date night. Great price for what you're getting and overall amazing experience. We'll definitely be back soon.

Yelp
This coconut Grove is a little neighborhood gem with very simply one dish! Cotoletta alla Milanese (veal) 2 Antipasti 2 Sides $80 serves two Immediately upon arrival, our friendly server placed some green olives in front of us and asked us what we would like to drink. They have a white, a red and Prosecco. We went with a bottle of Chianti, an extremely easy to drink light red, paired great with the fried veal, was $45. The antipasti was great, bruschetta with burrata on focaccia. And Arancini, rice balls over an irresistible Parmesan truffle sauce that wasn't too truffle and was super flavorful. In fact, we enjoyed the opening so much. We ran it back and had another round which was an additional $30. In retrospect, the veal was huge and we could have skipped running It back. We were given choice of sides with our veal. We went with the zucchini fries, and the pasta. A man came by shredding cheese on top of the pasta, and we asked them to do the same on the zucchini fries. Both were very enjoyable.. For the star of the show the bone in Cotoletta alla Milanese was huge! Perfectly crisp and thin a splash of lemon was perfect for it, this filled us up incredibly well, we were struggling for the last few bites. You could probably order another side or two and share the it with at least three people maybe four. For dessert, we went with the tiramisu which was delicious light and creamy. Out the door with the extra round of antipasti a bottle plus a glass of the red, and the dessert we spent $220, but if you solely wanted to try the $80 special, you could get out of there at about $105 with tax and tip. Great place and next time I have a craving I'll be sure to return.

Yelp
Believe it or not I had never had Milanese before trying it at Cotoletta and I'm so glad that this was my first. I have to start my review off by gushing about how hospitable the team was here. I walked in around at 5:30 pm with two friends, my small dog, and no reservations. They still happily accommodated us and kindly let us know that we would have an hour before the reservation who would need our table would come in. I said, as long as you can feed us in an hour, we're game! And so the experience began. It was clear that they worked well as a team--everyone was on the same page, they explained the menu and how it worked really well, and never once did I feel rushed. As a matter of fact, when I asked about how much time we had left, the response, "don't worry about that, this is your time to enjoy your meal." Like, what?! Amazing. On to the food: delicious. From the yummy little starter olives to the way that the lemon brightened the tender Milanese to the light crisp of the fried zuchinni side, it was a definitely a meal to delight in. And though their concept mainly focuses on two-person dining (so it's the perfect date spot) they still offered a great deal and portion size for a single diner. The ambiance was my favorite--we got to see it transform from quiet early dinner to a lively full house. The way the team worked around each other was like a dance and the vibe of everyone inside added to the big happy family dinner vibes. Cotoletta is must try! But please...even though they were so lovely and accommodating don't be like me--make a reservation!

Yelp
This was not a meal, it was an experience! When a restaurant offers a very small menu, it has to knock it out of the park. And OMG they did! The place is cozy and crowded and that makes it perfect! I felt as if I was somewhere in Italy. Loved everything about this place and the star of the show, veal cotoletta, was done to immaculate perfection. The appetizers included were arancini and bruschetta. Both were great! We also tried all the side dishes (we were a big group). Fries, very well done. Zucchini fries, amazing! Pasta Arrabbiata, finally someone knows how to make it right! Arugula salad, simple and delicious. For dessert I made the sacrifice to have a cafe affogato. I can't recommend this enough. If I could give it more stars, I would. Make sure you call for a reservation and if you are driving, plan extra time to find parking.

Yelp
This place is small and intimate but gets crowded pretty fast in the grove. The waiters are very attentive and you will be served quickly so the wait isnt too long. They have two apps - the prosciutto and the Arancini. The veal is the main and then you get two sides from five options. I went with the arugula and the penne bolognese. Everything was very good and the restaurant overall had great service and great vibes.

Yelp
I am sorry to say I don't see what all the hype is about at Cotoletta. The Ambiance is cute for a small restaurant but the volume in the place is unbearable. I found that I was yelling the entire time I was there so we could hear each other, it was so bad we had to lean all the way into the table to hear each other and we definitely could not cross talk. Service was good nothing over the top. I have had Milanese many times before coming here and I have to say, it was average. It is important to have the bone in veal chop pounded evenly and it was not, too thin in some places and too thick in other places and a little too oily. The sides were tiny! I appreciate the idea behind 80bucks includes two pieces of an appetizer and two sides but so NOT worth it. The things I liked the most was the two pieces of appetizer the "bruschetta" in quotes because bruschetta usually doesn't have burrata on top( no complaining about that loved it)! The arancini were delish. If you're looking for a perfect Milanese that comes with arugula, Portosole in Coral Gables is my go to place. Lastly, most Italian restaurants do not rush you out the door. But sure enough the waiter and either owner or host literally asked us to leave. Mind you we were there with a reservation and dinning under two hours, classless to ask people to leave, we ordered additional glasses of wine and dessert which the dessert was disappointing, I've eaten many flourless chocolate cakes and this was so dry and crumbly, mediocre at best. They could care less about your experience it was more about how many times they can turn the table over and charge $80 per couple. We won't be back, Italian in Miami is highly competitive I'd rather spend an extra 50 bucks on another restaurant than this place that is just okay. Another trendy social media miss!

Yelp
Loved the amazing yet relaxed hospitality by owners and staff. Service and food were outstanding, setting the tone for a perfect family dinner! Don't miss out on a great evening at Cotoletta. You won't regret it. Mille grazie!!

Carlos S.

Yelp
Cotoletta feels like a slice of Italy! They only serve Milanesa, and it's the best you'll ever try. The place is small, beautifully decorated, and the service is 7 stars. It can get a little noisy, but hey -- Italians are loud Loved it!
google avatar

Fernanda L.

Yelp
This place takes the guess work out of what to order, no menu, straight to the point, veal Milanese all day everyday! $80 set price for 2 people gets you 2 preset appetizers, 2 side dishes you get to choose from out of about 4 options and a huge veal Milanese! This small and vibrant restaurant in the Grove seems to be packed every time I pass by, including the Thursday night I went, I couldn't wait to try this authentic Italian spot. Drinks were straight forward as well, options were one type of red wine, one type of white, a prosecco or champagne. Once sat and drinks ordered, all we needed to do was pick our sides. Appetizers came quickly, the bruschetta was crispy with the freshest burrata. The arancini was also really good served on top of a truffle sauce. Soon after our veal Milanese arrived and took up half our table! So perfectly seasoned and breaded, every bite was the perfect bite. The zucchini fries were crispy and the spicy penne pasta was perfection. We were able to finish the apps and sides, however half the veal had to come home with us just because it's so big, but no complaints there!

Yelp
A New Italian Gem in Coconut Grove - Cotoletta is a Must-Try! Cotoletta brings something fresh to Coconut Grove, with a menu built around its signature dish, "La Cotoletta." Every dish we tried was a delight. The arancini and bruschetta as starters were 10/10--one of the best truffle arancinis I've ever had, and the bruschetta was bursting with perfectly balanced flavors. The main event, "La Cotoletta," was deliciously tender, with the perfect amount of breading. A small tip: I'd add a mesh over the lemon to avoid seeds falling on the meat, but that's just me being picky! The dish was light and not greasy, true to Italian culinary standards. For sides, we went with the pomodoro pasta and fried zucchini. While the pasta was a touch soft for my preference (I enjoy it more al dente), it was still enjoyable, and I know not everyone likes it that firm. The fried zucchini was a great choice too! To finish, we had the cheesecake, although the tiramisu and chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream were tempting. Overall, Cotoletta deserves a solid 5/5! I'll definitely be back. Pro Tip: Go for a bottle of wine instead of just glasses; it elevates the experience.

Andy D.

Yelp
What a fantastic experience! The cotoletta alla milanese is their signature and only entree, but it's done exceptionally well. The breading was light and crispy, while the veal soft and juicy. The antipasta was arancini and a focaccia with fresh tomatoes and mascarpone, which were equally delicious. Our sides were the arugula salad and the bolognese. They were simple, yet fresh and scrumptious. For dessert we had the tiramisu and chocolate cake. A perfect way to end the meal. The service was also quick, attentive, and polite. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

James F.

Yelp
Cotoletta on Grand Avenue is one of those Italian places that gets it so right, you'll wonder why you ever settled for mediocre pasta elsewhere. They keep their menu simple and focused, which means everything they make is actually excellent instead of just okay. Their Cotoletta alla Milanese with homemade spaghetti is incredible - the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes and enjoy every bite. You can taste that they're using quality ingredients and know how to cook them properly. What's nice is that they do a prix fixe menu with seasonal appetizers, so you get to try different things throughout the year based on what's fresh. The staff genuinely cares about your experience, too - they suggest making reservations because they want to make sure they can take good care of you. The place welcomes families and has options for kids, but it's not one of those loud, chaotic family restaurants. It's more like eating at your Italian friend's house if they happened to be an amazing cook. It's the kind of neighborhood gem that makes you feel lucky to live in Miami, and once you go, you'll be planning your next visit before you even leave.

Shin-I L.

Yelp
The milanesa is supeb. Bravo. Appetizers and sides need a lot of work. If you only have 10 or less dishes in your repertoire, it's got to be ALL point or it's not worth a second visit. Sorry because the owners and service are quite nice.

Yelp
Amazing service the Cotoletta is huge the appetizers bruschetta fresh delicious, the arancini's also tasty and the sides pasta al pomodoro and fried zucchini just the right combo. Dessert the final touch tiramisu.

Yelp
The brilliance of Cotoletta lies in their simplicity and flawless execution. Their main dish is one item, and it is by far one of the best veal milanesa's you'll ever have. With that comes a select number of sides to choose from; all of which, like the main dish, are perfectly crafted. Service was top notch. Just walking to my table, I was welcomed by multiple staff. Our waiter took his time, explaining the restaurant's concept, offering suggestions, and tending to the experience. The atmosphere is very much alive...if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this probably isn't the place. The ambiance is a bold blend of playful elegance and modern edge that makes it a very immersive and entertaining experience. Overall, I was extremely impressed by every aspect of this visit, and for the $80 cost for a party of 2 (which includes 2 starters, veal milanesa, and 2 sides) I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Went to Cotoletta with my grandma & boyfriend for the huge milanesa and it did not dissapoint. There is no physical menu, the server tells you what's available. The milanesa was pretty pricey ($80) but it was worth it for a one time thing. The tiramisu was amazing as well! Definitely give it a try.

Yelp
We liked it. My husband and I went without reservation on a Saturday around 6:30 and were seated right away. Unique concept, something different. I like good and simple and this places has it. The starters were yummy and the milanesa was also good. I like milanesa so I think if that's gonna be the only option you have to like it. The sides were fine we had the bolognese pasta and the zucchini. We didn't have dessert but we had a beer and a glass of white wine. Pretty good. I'll go back.

Yelp
10/10! The menu is pretty much pre-fix, with your option to select your sides (5 options). Perfect spot for date night with your boo, or intimate dinner with close friends. The ambiance has a NYC vibe and the food quality is straight out of an Italian kitchen. Most of the waiters are handsome Italian men as well, so ladies - feast your eyes not just on the food. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I happened upon Cotoletta when I was in Coconut Grove last weekend - there was a crowd outside this little place that intrigued me. As we had just eaten , we began talking to the proprietor and asked to look at a menu for future consideration. He pointed to a big blackboard with a single item and an $80.00 price. -He explained that they serve a single dish - Veal Milanese with appetizers and sides -and the price was all inclusive FOR TWO! A server walked by with a beautiful platter of Veal Milanese that would overwhelm Fred Flintstone -- we decided to come back later in the week and made a reservation The proprietor greeted us warmly and sat us right away. I had a glass of Chianti (decent and well priced). A platter of (2) small bruschetta arrived shortly after along with (2) arancini (rice balls) The bruschetta had a very fresh well balanced flavor of tomato, basil garlic and olive oil- delicious I'm not a big rice ball fan. But they had a good flavor Shortly thereafter came the platter with a beautiful veal Milanese that was so large it spilled over every edge of the plate - , along with our sides of an arugula salad and pasta with a bolognese sauce The veal was perfectly seasoned and cooked - golden brown crispy coating The edges weren't overcooked and the meat at the bone was slightly pink . The sides were ok -pasta was Al dente and salad a simple arugula with cherry tomatoes- next time I'll just order (2) arugula salad sides and cover the veal with it . I had Tiramisu for dessert which was Tasty but not a highlight Definitely will make return visits- it's hard to find consistently good Milanese -Cotoletta has it down pat.

Yelp
These gents knocked it out of the ball park. The excellent service matched the phenomenal menu; everything just works perfectly. This is the new, new spot to hit up if you're looking for a no bs, no nonsense awesome dining experience that's located in the heart of 33133. Frank, our server, should teach hospitality courses to other restaurants - he'll take great care of your guests. Highly recommend you call ahead of time so you don't have to wait a minute longer. Thank you, Sebastian, Ivette & Nina

Yelp
Maybe join the 21 century and make online reservations available since your telephone line does not pick up and does not accept messages.

Yelp
Hands down! We had an amazing date night in Cotoletta last weekend. Mattia was a great server for us, we had so much fun! The food was delicious and the whole vibe very enjoyable, felt like you're somewhere in Italy. Thank you guys, will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
We came to eat for Mother's Day and we loved it. The veal was the only entree on the menu and it was excellent. The bruschetta and arancini were very good too. We loved the spicy pasta and meat sauce pasta. Good service and friendly staff. We will definitely will be back!

Yelp
Fantastic dinner. Expected it to be far more simple, but there were choices and options and plenty of variety.

Yelp
This place is amazing. They have an amazing deal for two! We even took some home. Beautiful weather in miami this December to sit outside and people watch and enjoy delicious food. I recommend this place for lunch or casual dinner, it's in a great location. Great addition to the grove

Yelp
Perfect neighborhood addition! We've needed something with character and at a decent price point. Everything was good, including wine. Also walked out of there stuffed, portion is more than enough.

Yelp
Amazing place. You have very little choice as everything is centered around their one dish: Veil Milanese. It's excellent. You get sides and appetizers with a prefixed price of 80 bucks. Great service! Wonderful Ambiance! I will come back!

Yelp
This is such a great new gem / hot spot in Coconut Grove!! There is only one menu item at this restaurant (it's absolutely fabulous!). It's $80 for two people ($40 pp) and it includes one main dish - Milanese which is only veal, a bruschetta and arancini appetizer plus two sides of your choice (we got the pasta and salad). Some reviews say you can choose between chicken or veal Milanese as your main - this is not the case. It is a great amount of food for this price point. Dessert and wine are not included in the $80. They have a fantastic wine selection and I learned from a friend you can bring your own wine and they will cork for you but not sure if there is a corkage fee. I am also not sure what happens on the pricing if you come with a group of 3 or as a party of 1. All in all, this was one of the best meals we've had in a while in the Grove! We were able to walk in and get a spot outside.

Yelp
wonderful restaurant. food wonderfully prepared and the staff is very attentive. My wife does not eat meat so they made her a vegetarian pasta. My son and his friends had a wonderful time too. Definitely recommend but go in knowing that there is essentially one entree choice---a perfectly made veal Milanese.

Yelp
This place has really delivered. Although the menu is limited it has been executed with perfection. No complaints. More so, the ambiance is welcoming and the Andrea, the owner, makes you feel like you have returned home for a special meal. Lovely experience.

Yelp
Great food & service! Love the concept of only having one thing on the menu. Fun place to go with friends!

Yelp
My reviews are always honest. And I believe that this place has a lot of potential. It is an adorable space, the service was nice, and professional. You cannot beat this deal, it is a A LOT of food for $80 for two. I would recommend you definitely try it out. The food was good, my problem is, I am all or nothing, and if it's not amazing , I do not come back. However, I would give THIS place another chance. The starters were great. Very well prepared. The main meal is what I felt was bland. The quality of the meat was good, but it really has no flavor. We found ourselves drowning in lemon. The pastas were simple and good, again nothing out of this world... maybe we went on an off night, and I will be back to give it another shot. Try it. It does have potential.

Yelp
Such an amazing concept idea that is executed amazingly! The vibes of the restaurant make you feel as though you're in a small locale in Italy. The antipasti (apps) of two truffle fries riceballs and the bruschetta were amazing and I wanted to ask for more!! The main - the cotoletta - being born in Italy and now living in the states tastes just like on you'd get in Milan!! ** Make sure you add the lemon and rosemary on top to pull it all together ** Overall, great service, great vibes and amazing food!

Yelp
The service, food and vibe was great! If you love veal Parm, this is the place to go! The concept of a single item to choose from was unique and it works. You get one entree veal parm to share, 2 starters, and two sides (the zucchini fries are a must) enjoy.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised. I first saw this restaurant on an Instagram page dedicated for quality local Miami restaurants. These Instagram shout outs are hit or miss, so I had no expectations but was interested enough to check it out. I liked the idea of a preset menu ($80 for 2 people) and figured a restaurant that specializes in only a few dishes must have them close to perfected. I was not wrong. Upon arrival, I immediately could tell it was going to be a good night. People spilled into the street outside waiting for their tables (you know it's going to be a good restaurant when the people exiting have a huge smile on their face). The small tables outside consisted of joyful people drinking great wine and eating good food. Inside, a warm lit room full of the same. It passed the vibe check. 10/10 would recommend to any group of friends wanting to spend a good, chill time or a couple/date. It's not a *dressy* (Miami dressy) place, but you still want to look cute and put together. As to food, alcohol and service, please see below: Menu/Food: Cotoletta has a small pre-fixed menu with a few customizable options. They specialize in a few select dishes. First, the meal begins with specialty Olives, bruschetta/tomatoes, and arancini over a bed of creamy parmesan - all of which were delicious. A huge Milanesa is the only entree available (more than enough for 2 plus leftovers). You have the option of either penne pomodoro, fries, zucchini fries, and/or arugula salad (choice of 2). We chose the fries and the pomodoro. Only critique of the entire meal is that I do not believe the pasta used was slow dried nor ancient grain. It would be preferable an experience upgrade. Besides that, the rest of the meal was excellent. Alcohol: The alcohol selection mimics the menu - a few quality selections (extra charge). You have a few items, including red wine, white wine, champagne, prosecco, coffee, tea (I cannot recall if beer was included). Nonetheless, there is no wine list. You have the option of red or white. We chose red, and it was a reasonably priced Chianti Clasico. It had a bold, dry flavor profile that paired perfectly with the meal and served as a refreshing burst of tannins in between bites. Service: Service was great as well. Very professional and responsive. Attentive. Overall Impression: This is one of those restaurants that starts out small, specializes in a few quality dishes, and ends up expanding in location, food selection, and success - with the Milanesa being their OG story. Can't wait to go back! Niurys R.

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Miami! I am here about every other week at this point and I never get tired of the menu, I actually crave it more. It has an incredible staff, delicious food and is an absolute vibe.

Yelp
First time I visited Cotoletta, it was great! Wonderful food (except for the dessert), great pasta, wonderful flavors, enjoyable wine, cozy atmosphere, efficient/ friendly service. Second time.....not so great. The veal was extremely salty and the service was rushed (they had just opened). Will there be a third visit....I don't think so. Also, I gotta ask (perhaps I'll never know).....why did the waiter change the music (soundtrack to Once Upon a Time in America) to bossa nova immediately after I mentioned how beautiful it was?? It was so strange....I tell the waiter I love the music, he walks to the back, and it changes mid song. Mamma mia,!!! You can't be nice in Miami!!

Yelp
This restaurant did not disappoint! My daughter/son-in-law had actually seen the restaurant on IG and wanted to go when they came into town during the holidays. So glad we decided to go as from beginning to end the service, telephone communications as to your reservation, the way they greet you when you arrive (brings back fond memories of Italy), are just exceptional. The quality of the food was fantastic. The veal was flavored perfectly, we were a larger group and, therefore, we ordered all of the sides in order to taste a variety, and the sides did not disappoint. The wines that are offered are paired very well with the meal. We will definitely be returning and soon. Ottimo lavoro Cotoletta!
