Cindi is an extremely passionate food loving, space curating, story accumulating Bon Viveur! Her Commercial Kitchen and its' GORGEOUS PATIO/EVENT Space combo is a secret little gem tucked away next to one of Los Angeles main LYFT headquarter hubs and the "antique part of Downtown LA". I am a photographer and video-grapher and am often asked to shoot chefs at work creating the magic as well as events of all shapes and size. The light that falls in almost every nook at Crafted Kitchen is beautiful! The Light inside the kitchens themselves is so crisp and airy too! Cindi's loyal team are always on hand no matter what help you need, and if you're lucky, you might get offered some delicious freshly cooked food or a mojito by the ladies! 10 STARS FOR CINDI THE NICEST VENUE OWNER IN TOWN!

Crafted Kitchen has been a home to my business since 2017! Joining this community has been the best decision I have made. This was especially true when my business had to pivot and survive during the pandemic COVID-19. Having the support of my colleagues but also of the management at Crafted Kitchen made it possible for me not just to survive but to thrive. I highly recommend this space for anyone who needs to start a business in the food industry or to transition from one space to another. I have been to many shared kitchens and Crafted Kitchen is by far the best, the cleanest, most professional and most helpful!!

Crafted Kitchen is everything you could want in a commercial kitchen. The facility is huge, incredibly clean, and has top of the line equipment for all production needs. The kitchen also has a beautifully curated patio/event space. Finally, Cindy is the most accommodating and friendly owner we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Our team is so pleased that we found Crafted Kitchen!

Atmosphere and Vibe was just on point felt very welcomed

Crafted Kitchen is a great concept for chefs/cooks or those in the food/restaurant business to prepare dishes as well as have presentations. On January 13th I attended the session sponsored by LACMA featuring James Beard awardee, Michael Twitty. The kitchen we were in held approximately 20 and Michael spoke about spices. Additionally, he prepared his famous matzo ball gumbo. I had never had matzo ball but the dish was well prepared and very tasty. Crafted Kitchen is an excellent venue for those wanting to showcase their talents without having the expensive overhead to secure a brick-mortar venue. There was plenty of street parking on Sante Fe.

The owner is amazing‼ I showed up not knowing that I needed to call and make a appointment. She say me anyways and on top of that it was a Monday and she was sick. She went out of her way to help me. She is truly an advocate for small business and woman. She was such a blessing. Very kind and knowledgeable‼

I had the pleasure of filming a project at Craft Kitchen, which is a gem in the Arts District. While filming, I had the opportunity to speak to the owner Cindi, whose energy and spirit is magnetic. The kitchen in which I filmed had state of the art equipment, and I was very impressed with the space. Cindi is providing a unique opportunity for chefs and cooks alike, and they're all doing well! I'm definitely looking forward to going back to try all of the amazing dishes coming out of Craft Kitchen, and enjoying the experience!!

There is a thoughtful touch in everything at Crafted and they really have their members backs. Mikey, the kitchen manager is a huge help with any questions or help I ever need. This review is based on the facility. On Cleanliness: Super CLEAN!!! You can practically eat off the floor. I didn't see any dust, spills, crumbs, nothing. It is so sterile. On Design: Updated newly renovated feel. Everything is well lit, not migraine blinding, but you don't have to squint or anything. A sleek minimalist feel, very functional, spacious. Bathrooms are set with the best Home touches but still has a commercial clean feel. Parking: this is the fault in our stars.. you have to hunt for parking. Read signs carefully. They have a limited parking lot and it probably costs a fortune and probably needs to be booked in advance. Overall: if I were a catering company I'd totally invest in this. It's worth the money. Seemed to be well equipped. Functional easy to work in space. Comfortable and centrally located.

We've been tenants for almost one year now and I have to admit that Cindi has built something quite special at Crafted Kitchen. First off - it is a modern kitchen commissary with everything you need in a kitchen, which is kept meticulously clean and sparkling. Second, it is a hotbed of young, up and coming brands to network and get inspired by coming into work surrounded with like minded professionals. Third, you get to work with someone passionate about what they do. Cindi works probably harder than you and so to see that kind of dedication is really amazing and just makes you wanna put your best foot forward as well. Very much recommended place to work out of and bravo Cindi for building such a great community here in the Arts District!

The plans offered let you start with a small, low-risk monthly fee, with the possibility to grow naturally when these big orders start pouring left and right!

We have been working out of this kitchen for almost two years. The community is incredible and Cindi is an amazing hands on owner who will do whatever she can to support the businesses in her community. Without this place - my business would not be possible.

I've worked in plenty of kitchens over the past ten years of my life. From quickservice to fine dining, home kitchens, and industrial bottling facilities.....nothing has compared to the experience of working in Crafted Kitchen's shared kitchen. The most impressive thing about this place isn't the sheer massive amount of space that is hidden behind a brick wall in DTLA. It isn't the ridiculous amount of new and well kept equipment that was available to me. It isn't that somehow, even though somebody is almost always cooking (or baking or prepping)24/7, this facility is still the most immaculate I have ever been in. The most impressive thing to me was the huge community of other tiny businesses that came together under one roof. No matter how close I came to missing catering delivery deadlines, or realized I didn't have a crucial ingredient, or wanted to trash a recipe because one customer didn't like it...there was always someone else to push me to the finish line, swoop in and give me some onions, or tell me that maybe that customer wouldn't know good food if it bit them (or why they might be right!). The companies that I worked alongside became trusted colleagues and friends. We all shared that unspoken kitchen bond. Running the culinary side for a tiny, brand new, independent catering company in LA is more than a bit daunting. Crafted Kitchen was the place that made everything possible and made everything easier. The amount of work that Cindi (the owner) puts into Crafted Kitchen is mind boggling. I have seen her get up to the roof with a technician like she's spider woman. She has climbed ladders to help me reset a ceiling outlet. She has helped me find the equipment I needed because I was too frazzled to realize that the blender was right in front of my face. She has layed in puddles of dish water to stop a leak. She has given me some of the best advice that a young woman needs to hear...about staffing, marketing, self-evaluating, and most importantly knowing that you are just as worthy and strong and experienced as any of your counterparts in this business. And I literally never saw Cindi not somewhere at Crafted, whether it was 8am, 6pm, or 2am. She's a real superwoman. Oh! And let me tell you one more thing. THE KITCHENS ARE AIR CONDITIONED! You heard me right. As somebody who has been stuck on the grill when it's 100+ outside and the air blowing in is just as hot as the fire in front of you having air conditioning in the kitchen was the ultimate luxury. Thank you Crafted! For this and so much more.

I own and run a meal prep and catering service company (Fannyb00 Eats & Sweets) and use crafted kitchen for all of my orders. This has been my first shared kitchen space experience and I do enjoy it. It's readily available and Haley and Cindi are always helpful. Never have I had any issues with booking times or getting anything I need. The facility is spacious, very clean, and the other businesses that use it are headed by friendly informative people I hope to one day call my friends. It's felt like "home" as far as kitchens go from the first time I stepped foot inside. I love how secure it is and all the amenities.

Crafted Kitchen is a top-class solution for entrepreneurs in the food industry. Like in every industry, management is key to operations and Crafted's staff is exemplary in creating the ideal work environment. The rules are explained thoroughly and communication is excellent with Haley and Cindi. The community and staff maintain a high standard, working together to clean and keep a spotless facility. As a chef and food entrepreneur I've worked in many kitchens and even built my own in NYC- Now here in Los Angeles, Crafted Kitchen is my home. It's a place where I've had the great opportunity to create, meet other likeminded peers and build a new business. Cindi Thompson and her team are stellar.
