We got married at Elope 253, and this was more than what we could've asked for for a lovely dinner! We didnt realize it was reservation only, but the hostess tonight was so attentive and sweet, and did her best to take care of us--many of the staff were very kind, even though it was a very busy night. We could not have asked for a better dinner, that is worth the money and definitely much more food than we expected for very good fine dining. The food was perfect and filling, the bartenders and staff were a charm, and Braulio in particular was a very loving server for us tonight, going above and beyond to take care of us! We really appreciated the extra care, and wish we had all the money in the world to tip what everyone deserved--we will definitely be back for more, as soon as we can! P.s. I DEFINITELY recommend the rice pudding. I would not miss out on it!

My husband and I frequent here often. We love the food, we love the staff, we love the atmosphere and just the overall experience. We’ve never had a bad visit here. We don’t drink so we normally just get a soda or drink water. My husband and I get our own orders of the vacio steak tacos it comes with 4 tacos. We don’t like to share so we get our own lol then we each get the vacio steaks that come out on the sizzling hot stone. It is so good, we always leave happy with full belly’s and it’s not overly pricey. It’s a very relaxing dinner away from the littles. Is you’ve never been there just make a reservation. You won’t be disappointed.

I heard this place had the best steak in town. Im from Los Angeles California born and raised. I came to critique. 9.2! One of the best ribeyes I've had in a long time since I made mine. Cook to perfection and even served on a hot plate if it's not cook to your satisfaction. I'm talking about the award-winning 89.00 steak worth its weight in gold. The atmosphere was beautiful I could feel the vibe everyone was sharp and on their toes and happy. The only thing that I had an issue with was my baked potato was cold. Besides that this is officially my steakhouse to go to. 👏

The manager, Nick, and our server, Brandy, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even other staff members, Denzil and Bobby, came over to introduce themselves and greet us personally — a rare and refreshing touch. The star of the night was our 16oz Australian Ribeye — perfectly cooked, incredibly tender. While we were offered extra toppings, the steak was so delicious that it didn’t need a thing. We paired it with sautéed mushrooms and their loaded baked potato, both of which complemented the meal beautifully. Overall, Cuerno Bravo delivers not just a meal, but an experience. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and a genuine sense of hospitality make this a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a truly great steakhouse Not to miss!!!

I had the pleasure of dining there to celebrate my brother's birthday. The cuisine was exceptional, and the staff provided excellent service. The beverages were also strong yet they were well mixed and tasted really good. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. It is truly a wonderful establishment. If you are seeking a festive evening, the interior decor was almost magical and enchanting. I personally found it quite appealing, though I was not as fond of the back room, which I found a bit too dim for my preference. However, it did offer a very intimate and subdued ambiance, which some individuals might appreciate. I highly recommend this establishment.

Hands down the best steak in town! The atmosphere is incredible, cozy, stylish, and perfect for any celebration. The drinks are top-notch, and the servers are absolutely amazing. Update: 2/28/2026 Returned for tye wifeys Birthday. Food still absolutely amazing. Ordered Australian wagyu ribeye again. Must try it if you haven't. Service was amazing and Tony (waiter) absolutely killed it. Great food, fast drinks. Couldn't have gone any better. Will return in a few weeks for my bday. Went here last night for tye wifey and I anniversary. Parking was tough so make sure to give yourself ample time to find Parking. Wifey and I ordered the Australian wagyu ribeye. Steak was absolutely amazing and best I've tried ever. It's topped all other steak restaurants we've been to including high end steak restaurants in Vegas. Service - we felt our server was below par, we ordered drinks which took 25min to get to us, all for our server to bring us 1 drink and tell us it was the last one so... we ordered another drink which took another 25-30mun to get so we had to share tye only drink we had. We ordered a 3rd drink after getting our 2nd just to find 30min later that our server didn't put the order in for it. Not wanting to wait another 30min, we canceled the drink which we ended up getting charged for and had to wait longer at the end to get it taken off our bill. Overall Id still recommend eating here as the food is absolutely amazing. We're hoping that our service experience was a "one off" and do plan on going back when we can escape the kids =). Will update again once we go back.

Great food options, haven't had one bad waiter or waitress, the customer service is top notch, from over the phones and until you are seated. You cannot go wrong with their signature cocktails, all very delicious. My favorite is the pain killer! Thank you Cuerno Bravo!

Beautiful presentation, Sensational seasoning, all accompanied by the loud sizzle of a well prepared steak. Try all of the margaritas!!! You won't be disappointed!

If you want to treat yourself or someone to a nice vibey steakhouse in Tacoma, this is the place! Also think it's worth the drive if you're not directly in Tacoma. Very limited parking lot, and it's located in downtown Tacoma so you will have to circle around to find street parking. I love the decor with the tree and hanging lights. The music they were playing reminded me of some kind of tropical beach club. Knocking down a star because service wasn't too great. After being seated it took a long while for the server to come and even greet us and check in on us during the meal (I needed water refilled). But, the place was packed, even for a Tuesday evening-- So will give a little grace. The space is kind of small in the front, so it also isn't too conducive to foot traffic and our table was too close to that of the group next to us. You can easily eavesdrop on the conversation without meaning to. However, when the server did come by, he was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was amazing!! Love the presentation as well on the hot stone slab with the garnish. We got the Australian wagyu NY strip and filet cooked medium, and it was perfect. They came with tasting salt on the side to enhance flavor. An order of the papa loca, which is a ginormous loaded baked potato- meant to share with 3 people. Delicious. Cocktails were also on point. About $16 each, so pretty standard.

A must try if you are looking for a steakhouse for an intimate date night. I have been here at least two or three times and have always had a great experience. If you are a fan of the Asadero Prime (Kent/Seattle), this spot is a new concept for that restaurant chain. Servers are very helpful when it comes to selecting items on the menu. The sizzling plate with our steaks is a fun interactive experience. If I remember correctly, we have ordered the El Zabuton, Vacio, Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon, and the Japanese Table Side A5 Wagyu. The servers will give pointers on how to enjoy your meal. The meal is usually served with a flakey salt and includes chimichurri on the side to enjoy with your steak. They do have side dishes but more than often I will get full off of eating a steak. If you don't have a big have a big appetite, maybe consider sharing a steak.

We were in town last weekend and again had to revisit this great restaurant. This time, we shared the mollette app and a 12 oz Australian cut with a side of button mushrooms. The cheesecake was also very good. The consistency was different from what I am used to; however, it was delicious because it was not too sweet. We will be back in July!

The Australian wagyu ribeye steak was excellent. We ordered it medium rare. Since it came on a hot stone, my dining partner could heat the pieces to their liking. The baked potato is easily big enough for two people to share. You can get it with all the fixings, or you can get the fixings on the side (which is what my dining did). The special Australian top sirloin was good albeit chewy (it's a sirloin). The service was good and our server took good care of us. I would definitely come back here for steak in the Tacoma area.

Wow, what a great experience! I had pretty high expectations after having been a huge fan of Chef David's other establishments, but man this place did not disappoint! Let's start with the actual space and ambiance. Tacoma has a sort of funky, quirky vibe to it, especially the downtown area. This building is pretty old, and they've done an amazing job of renovating this space into exactly what you'd expect here in Tacoma. It still has that old world charm and rustic feel, yet perfectly blends a modern and classy vibe. The kitchen is visible from the dining area, and the abundant use of live fire cooking is really fun and cool. The service was great, our waiter was very friendly and took good care of us. He was very educated on the menu offerings and very willing to help with recommendations. If I had but one complaint it would be that the overall dining experience was quite slow. But I was here celebrating my birthday, so we were certainly not in a hurry. But I would warn that you plan plenty of time, because this is not a quick meal situation, it's something that will take some time and rightfully so. The food. O.M.G. Everything we ordered was amazing, starting with the Guacamole Casero. It's not super fancy, there's not a lot of "fluff" added to it. But man was it good! Sometimes a simple, well executed guacamole is perfect, and this is exactly that. It was served with some chips and crostini. For the meal I went with the Australian Wagyu Filet Mignon, my daughter chose the American Cross Wagyu Vacio (a flank steak cut). Our sides of choice were the Papa Loca, Roasted Broccoli and Rajitas Poblanas. Everything here was just delicious, perfectly cooked, well seasoned and utterly amazing. I've been to other steak houses here in Tacoma and I'm saying it now, this is by far the best steak in town. For dessert I had to have the Cheesecake, and we also chose the Flan Trio. Perfectly creamy textures and bold flavors all around. I'm ranking this experience very high. I was truly impressed with everything here from the ambiance to the service to the actual meal. This was a very memorable dining experience and some insanely delicious food. This place will remain at the top of my list for probably the single best meal you can enjoy in T-Town. Sorry Asado, there's a new king in town.

Steak, It's great. $$ The loaded potato is probably one of the best I've ever had. My problem with Cuerno Bravo is the lacking in bourbon/scotch selection and their customer service. If I'm paying $200 for myself why am I boxing my to go? Maybe it's just me. Try the steak but, I prefer El' Goucho, at least the service matches the price.

The food and cocktails were amazing and delicious. I loved getting to finish off my bites of steak on the hot stone. The fresh sliced fruit options for your water was a nice touch. However, if I'd known being seated in the dark back room of this beautiful restaurant, far away from the show stopping trees and lanterns was even an option, I probably would have gone somewhere else. It felt like we were robbed of half of the experience.

This is one of the best restaurants I have gone to this year. They got everything right. I loved they served lemon and cucumber with your water. The servers were knowledgeable and attentive. The vacio steak was cooked perfectly and I loved the chimichurri sauce. It was so big that I could only eat 1/2. The loaded potato was massive The restaurant was really cute with fake trees with hanging lights. I highly recommend this place

Cuerno Bravo is a prestigious steakhouse in Tacoma and it reminds me of Asadero in Seattle. I was excited to see what Cuerno Bravo was all about! The pricepoint was reasonable and their menu features various cuts of steak along with plenty of sides, salads, and pairings for your perfect steak meal. However, Cuerno Bravo looks better than it tastes. The restaurant's ambiance is intimate and posh, but it also seems a bit too pretentious--like it's trying too hard to be cool. All the waiters/waitresses dressed in black and had a pompous flair about them. Not in a bad way, but more like a "I'm better than you" vibe. So I was like "Ok, this food better be good if this is the vibe I'm getting". We got Papa Loca, Arroz de La Abuela, roasted Cauliflower and Vacio steak. Everything tasted good, but not as good as the hype made it seem. The steak was also very unevenly salted. Some bits were unsalted, but other sections were way too salty. Not a good look, Cuerno Bravo. This place is OK, but not sure if my first visit would lead me back for another. There are better steakhouses out there where you can get better food for less (maybe even Fogo de Chão?!)

Great experience. Better than El gaucho in my opinion. In the main dining area it's a bit crowded/loud but that's sort of part of the fun energetic overall vibe. We were seated in the back, which is a little more intimate. I had the steak flight which included an A5 Wagyu sample. Fantastic. My wife had a (smoked) side car and I had a smoky mezcal margarita. Baked potato side. Surprisingly, the transcendent dish was the salmon. I would say the steak was an A and the salmon was an A+. Buttery and subtle Sweet is the best way to describe; beyond delicate. This is not an inexpensive place to dine, but I have to say it's a pretty good value for the fine dining experience you get. The sides were excellent. The service was on point and yet not too formal or stuffy. People that sit opposite the two seater tables in the back tend to strike a friendly conversation over dinner. If I had a tip, it would be that the lineup of sauces is a little overwhelming . You receive sauces with your steak and then you also receive a tableside set of four additional sauces. They were all excellent, but I didn't always know what was going with what and why. But all told - EXCELLENT ... We will definitely be back. This might be one of the few dining jewels of the general Tacoma area. This place and Marzano's for my wife and I.

If you come here for any occasion, I highly recommend the baked potato's to share, and also the New York steak(non shareable). Although the music is a bit too loud at times, the food absolutely makes up for it. You first get treated at the front of the entrance and the waiter introducing themselves. Since I have been here for several occasions, I knew this time around, I was going to go for the NY steak. It has so much more flavor and lots of meat content. Highly recommend!

Three pending transactions for the amount that I had ordered is on my credit card but the website still states experiencing technical issues please refresh the page. If someone could just figure this out!!!! Replying to Sarah since the responsiveness is faster here than email. I just ordered a gift card from Over the Moon Cafe and was able to order this no problem. I now have pending transactions on my AMEX and Mastercard since I was thinking it was a card. I was just trying to help and let you all know that something is wrong with your gift card site and you may want to test it yourselves.

Reservations are highly recommended. This is not a chain resturant, you are getting high-quality meat and high-quality service, our waiter was very familiar with the menu and explained everything to us, prices are not cheap by any means but they are reasonable for the qualitynof the food. Party of 4 we sharged the papa loco (loaded baked potato) and brocollini, had the guacamole and chips for appetizer. Then the main course Vacio, and American Wagyu cross served on a hot stone. Everything was delicious, food came fast, and the service was spot on. Bill for 4 with dinner, appetizers, side, a couple of adult beverages, desserts, and tip came in just a little less than $600. Delicious meal and exceptional service, highly recommended for your carnivorous adventures.

Second time here..both times were amazing. The service, the quality and ambiance off the charts. I've been to many steakhouses around the country..this place is worth traveling for. Reading some reviews complaining about mid rare being raw?? Either they are use to chain places or they've never had a properly done steak.

A fun date night spot or place to celebrate something special (graduation, birthday, promotion)! Very beautiful seating, a little dark but feels cozy. Server was helpful and stopped by frequently. Steak was yummy! I recommend a smaller cut if you don't normally eat big portions of red meat. Salty, loved the sauces that came with the steak. I forgot what my boyfriend had. Would have gave this a 5/5 but for some reason he had good poisoning the next few hours. I was fine, I had no sickness. But both agree we would come back!

This place knows steak. Not a traditional steakhouse, this menu rings in prime beef from around the globe and serves it up in a Mexican presentation that is absolutely amazing. If you're thinking traditional Mexican restaurant, think again. This is modern, unique, and served by staff that know what they're doing. Our server knew the menu front to back, was attentive without lurking, and handled off-menu drink orders with ease. The on-menu drinks are pretty awesome too. Dark, a bit loud, and super relaxed atmosphere. Go for a date night or just because it's Tuesday. Your inner carnivore will thank you.

The prices are a little large but the food, drink and service was great. You can tell they make priority of all the above. Of youre looking for a quiet place this isnt it but you have to try it.

It has been our third time at Cuerno Bravo. Took the parents for Dad's birthday and early Valentine's Day. Never disappoints. Dusty is the best!

This used to be our go to celebration spot, but we I'll have to find a new one. We were celebrating our anniversary and the waiter, Rico, did not provide the same service as other tables received and did he explain the menu as he did to others. The food was cooked awesome as usual, but I am a service guy, so we shall say bye to this restaurant. Others were offered lemons and cucumbers for their water, the menu explained, and checked on if everything was good. Sorry to say, we received none of that and Rico messed up our order. When you buy a A5 Wagyu, the waiter better not mess up your order! We are done with this place. Time to move on.

Have come here twice now! So excited that we have a steak house like this in Tacoma! I love all the different options of steak! I've been with a group of 4 twice now, loved the drinks! Love the sides, especially the . The service is excellent, it's not a cheap place, but you really do get a nice bang for your buck! I got here before the rest of my group, so I did take some pics of the appetizer and 1st drink. Definitely check it out! I think it's nice they offer menu items for a lot of price points, the steaks are $$ but damn they are worth it!

Pretty sure this is my new favorite steakhouse in my area. Came here for a friend's birthday and this is her favorite steakhouse. Pretty pricey but I think the quality is worth it. The restaurant is kinda small making it cozy and dimly lit so it gives off a nice romantic vibe. There's a giant tree in the middle which is where we sat. It is a little crowded and gets loud. I ordered the ribeye medium rare. It came out with a sizzling plate and two salsa dips. Steak was cooked to perfection so I didn't need to cook it longer on the plate. I took it off and only used it to warm up my pieces cause it's so huge! Couldn't even finish it. I had to take half home! Definitely recommend this place and will come back soon. FYI street parking. There's a lot next to the building but you have to pay for it. If you can find street parking after 8pm or Sunday it's free.

Food and service were both excellent! Steak was cooked as requested and leaving on the hot stone finished it to perfection! The sides were very tasty and shareable. The cauliflower dish with its habanero truffle sauce was outstanding- Thank you!

Been here a few times now because it's much closer than going to Kent, TBH! I always get the Vacio which cooks on the sizzling plate. I recommend getting the steak rare and you can cut the steak and cook it more if you like as you go. (If you still need some more sizzle, ask them for a new hot plate as the plate can get cold faster than some prefer.) The Vacio is a thickkkk piece of steak but so juicy and tender. It's been my go to! The Papa Loca is a must get, but keep in mind these potatoes are hugeeee! Def more than enough to share! If you want an app, the guac is really good, but I would ask for the sliced baguette bread instead of their house tostadas as those taste like chips that have been left out too long and become stale. But most importantly, Def recommend reservations as sometimes the wait is an hour or two. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because, we did have reservations but didn't get sat until an hour later because apparently we had to wait for the prior table to be done? Didn't make much sense to us and we were starving at this point.

You can spend a lot or a little and be very satisfied! The Arrachera is my absolute favorite thing to order and is only $30!! The Papa Loca is going to be all the side you need with some left to take home! The Painkiller drink is on fire, literally! Just an all around fun place for amazing meat! Update: The Arrachera dish is now $39 but still very worth it and my go-to order and suggestion to all! One suggestion I have for the restaurant is to change their plating to fit on the small tables better. There are large rectangle dishes that could be smaller ones for the food amount.

Refreshing atmosphere and decorum. Sophisticated flavors for discerning meat lovers palette. Dinner was a tremendous success from the appetizer to the entrees. Service was on point and the reason for needing a reservation because this place is popping. Looks very modern and high end decor which was very inviting. The food is the best I have had for the cost in a while, and if you are looking for a reasonable date night spot with the option of dressing up you will still feel at place here.

Food taste 9, wagyu delicious. Service 4, ok. Had to refill our own water and wine several times. Services timing 2. Appetizers came out super quickly. But entree was ridiculously slow. I requested to speak with a manager after 45 minutes of waiting. Front of house manager 2. Argumentative, saying that he checked ticket times and that it was normal. Terrible customer service in initial approach. We have dined there previously and 45 minutes between courses is not normal or customary. Front of house manager did come back to check on us afterwards but initial approach/response was sub par. Disappointed with the experience and service.

One of those places where you get your hopes waaaay up there from the vibes and menu, and then have them far exceeded by the actual experience. Unbeatable creativity and quality, from smoked cocktails and mocktails on fire, to impromptu magic tricks, and still nothing beats the food. Only possible thing they could improve is they have a dessert menu but no coffee -- and the fact that I refuse to dock a star for that should tell you how good everything else was.

As you can tell my bf is ready to eat! Lols. (picture below) Wow. My mind is blown. I'm never going to an American steakhouse ever again. This is the best steak I've ever had at a fine dining restaurant. Got the Australian wagyu ribeye. It was so buttery, melted in your mouth and incredibly juicy. The quality of the steak was worth paying $90. I've paid for a steak half of that size and it had no flavor! They also give you refills on the salsas, onions, and pico de galo. We also got the loaded potato and it was creamy and delicious. Super big as well. Nothing was disappointing here. I would recommend making a reservation since this place was filled up during dinner time. Our server was so kind and attentive. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice ambiance to it.

My first time coming here and the experience was everything for sure!!!! Our server Eric was definitely very informative about everything on the menu and gave us really good suggestions on what to order.. the ambience of this place is was sooo special and low lighting.. i definitely be back here for sure.. the steak is just soooo amazing!!!!

My experience was initially great -- I stopped in to check it out and the (manager? host?) at the front walked me through the menu and recommended various steaks and sides, eventually settling on the skirt steak (Arrachera Steak) and rice side dish (Arroz de la Abuela". He was very nice and sold me so I had a seat at the bar. In a fancy/expensive steak restaurant I'm generally expecting pretty good service from the bar, and usually a pretty good knowledge about the wine. My bartender was young and "wasn't really into wine" so his recommendations were along the lines of "that's popular" and "nobody has complained about that one since I started working here". Happily the Cafayate Malbec was good and surprisingly inexpensive at only $10. The service in general at the bar was definitely on the more young/inexperienced side of things. They initially brought out the 4 garnishes/salsas that apparently accompany all the dishes -- a darker red salsa, a green salsa, sliced red onions and a fresh pico de gallo salsa. I got mine long before the food came out, while the lady next to me got hers long after her food came out. So I lucked out. The red onions looked limp and I thought they were pickled -- they were just kind of old and looked like they had been sliced awhile ago. Likewise the pico looked like it had been cut quite awhile ago as well. The other salsas were just ok, nothing really stood out. The Arrachera Steak ($39.99) was a big plate and had a bunch of stuff going on. The 12 oz skirt steak looked much bigger than 12 oz. It had a lot of flavor though was a bit salty. The plate included 2 small cheese quesadillas, some roasted scallions, a sausage, extra homemade corn tortillas and some refried beans. It included an additional smoky red salsa. The quesadillas were fine, the scallions tasty and the sausage was pretty good. The refried beans were the star of the show. The steak itself was definitely on the well done side (I wasn't asked for a temperature when I ordered it and assumed the house would cook it to their recommendation). It was a fairly thin cut. The highly recommended Arroz de la Abuela ($12.99), described as "A generations old recipe from my grandmother Chabela. A creamy rice dish cooked with creama, onions and fire roasted poblano peppers," was awful. It seemed like basically rice that had been put into a cast iron dish and baked for way too long. It was super crusty on the bottom and sides and incredibly dry all the way through. The toppings of scallion and a bit of cheese didn't help. I didn't really see any peppers and there was definitely no hint of creaminess to it. So that was a bummer. The host? manager? who sold me on the skirt steak and rice stopped by near the end of my meal and mentioned "Oh, I should have told you to order the steak medium rare". Unfortunately that was a little too late.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary based on the reviews. We can say that this is definitely the best steakhouse we've ever been to. Our server was also really friendly and gave us a ton of details about the menu. It definitely is a splurge, but I would say it's worth it for a special occasion. We both agreed that one steak each and splitting a side was more than enough food! The portions are extremely generous. We would definitely come back for another special occasion!

Last night was date night, so we wanted a special dinner prior to seeing a concert at the Pantages. This was our first time dining at Cuerno Bravo and we will definitely be coming back. The food was fantastic from the fresh guacamole appetizer to the incredible Japanese A5 filet, the Wagyu New York strip and the shareable side called Papa Loca. The reason I didn't give the restaurant 5 stars is the service could have been better. We ordered our cocktails shortly after being seated. We then ordered our appetizer, the appetizer arrived 20 minutes before our cocktails. When we asked for the status of our cocktails our servers reply " it's really backed up as it Saturday night and it's busy". I'm sorry but this was at 5:30 pm on a Saturday night and a well known restaurant like Cuerno Bravo should have anticipated the crowd and the server should never make excuses. Their lack of preparedness is not the paying customers fault, especially a fine dining restaurant like this.

Foodgasm to food coma real quick. - FOOD: best steaks i've ever had - PRICE: heavy (my bill was close to $400 for 2 ppl) - SERVICE: excellent - AMBIANCE: trendy, dim, mature crowd How do I describe something euphoric?! This place blew our minds, hearts, and pallets away! I've been to many steakhouses and by far this one has reached the top of my list. In the heartbeat of (up and coming and gentrified) downtown Tacoma is this GEM! Highly recommend reservations; it was easier to get reservations for a party of 2. Starred at the menu well in advance and went with the two most popular and expensive steaks on the menu because when I'm winning at life so is my +1. :: SIPPIES & BITES :: BERRY GOLD ($16) - gin, muddled raspberries, agave nectar, fresh lemon juice, dry vermouth, topped with champagne and a gold wrapped strawberry. I have a nicknack for gin cocktails. This was sweet yet light to sip on. The gold wrapped strawberry was fun to eat but the gold tastes like nothing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ** ULTRA LUXURY AUSTRALIAN WAGYU ** RIB EYE ($89.99) - 16oz Luxury Wagyu from award winning producers from Australia served on a sizzling hot stone. OMG!!! This was the winner of the night. I LOVED the Japanese A5 Filet Mignon but this Ultra Luxury Wagyu hit differently. It wasn't as expensive as the Japanese A5 Filet Mignon yet it was 2x larger and had explosive flavor. This was ordered Medium-Well and cooked a little more on the sizzling hot stone yet the texture was tender and juicy and the taste was LUXURIOUS - rich and mellow. The Next time I come here, I will be ordering this. HIGHLY-HIGHLY RECOMMEND ** 100% JAPANESE A5 WAGYU** FILET MIGNON ($120.99) - 8oz A5 tenderloin from Miyazaki prefecture served on a sizzling hot stone. GEEZUZ, the meat was so tender it was like butter. So soft, so juicy, rich and flavorful. It was ordered medium and cooked a little more on the sizzling hot stone. Even when cooked a little more it was still so tenders. The filet was so lean and every bite was a trip to heaven. HIGHLY RECOMMEND We ordered some sides which were GIGANTIC... COLIFLOR TRUFADA AL HABANERO ($14.99) - Roaster Cauliflower finish in a Habanero-truffle cream. Surprisingly this was not as spicy as it reads. Has some heat on the top of the cauliflower but that's it. This was a full head of a cauliflower. RECOMMEND PAPA LOCO ($16.99) - Baked and seasons potato topped with smoked bacon, 4 cheese blend, Mexican crema, and Wagyu carns asada. You can get full of of this side itself. It was an (over)loaded baked potato. HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPANISH CHEESECAKE ($9.99) - always save room for dessert. Nothing special as the cheesecake was average and topped with berries. After reading positive reviews, the wife and I decided to try a date night at this establishment. Parking, was difficult to find, ended up parking a few blocks away. Not difficult to find the location. We showed up for our reservation 10 minutes early. Things didn't start off so well as the hostess said, it will be just a moment as we clean off your table for you. Seemed to make sense. We noticed two tables that were cleaned, prepped and ready and assumed they were ready for someone else's reservation. After waiting 15 mins, and their waiting area is very small and blocks the door to entry, meaning every time someone came in or out we had to move around so they could open the entry door, we were taken to our table. Surprisingly it was one of the tables that was already prepped when we first entered. Weird, but oh well. The ambiance, as far as lighting and decoration was really nice. As with most nice places, the lighting is dark. They have hand made trees that have little "bee hive" lanterns that give off some soft light. It's nice, but darkness makes it hard to read the menus. The one thing that seemed out of place considering this is a "South American style Steakhouse" was the very loud European Techno that was droning along with the strong bass made it almost impossible to have a conversation inside the place. While other people are talking over the music loudly to have conversations it makes the whole place so loud, it will give you a headache. That was very disappointing that the music and sound ruined the nice decor of the place. The menu has some choices for steaks, some seafood and chicken selections. Our waiter Isaak asked if we had been here before and he quickly went over the menu and how everything works there. He talked about 3 steak choices that cook at your table on a hot stone and that option could be utilized for anything on the steak menu. He went over the special of the night and how the sauces and extras work. We could barely hear him, and I ended up going over the whole thing for my wife as she couldn't hear him and he went through it so fast, it was confusing for her. It was explained that side dishes need to be ordered separately and he went over some of the offerings. I ordered their "Australian Wagyu Rib-Eye and asked if they cooked it true to how it's ordered. Isaak said yes. I ordered Med. Rare. My wife ordered their grilled King Salmon. We ordered their Papa Loco Potato and Seasonal Vegetables for sides, which he said the vegetables were carrots. The food did not take long to come to us. The service was fairly quick. When they brought out my steak it was on a "hot stone", I guess that's their signature "thing". They asked me to cut into the center to show that it was prepared correctly. I did that, and noticed it was raw in the middle. The waiter asked if I wanted to send it back to the kitchen. Golden rule, never send food back to the kitchen. So I said I guess I would leave it on their "hot stone" and allow it to finish cooking, essentially cooking my own food at my table. My wife's King Salmon was over-cooked as happens when restaurants think salmon needs to be completely dry to be "done". The broccoli that came with the salmon was not edible as it crunched like it just came off the stalk and had not been cooked. The carrots were "whole carrots" like they just came out of the dirt, very thick and so hard they couldn't be eaten either. I finished cooking my steak and then put my carrots on the hot stone to cook. The potato was okay. The stuff that comes on it, and the taste was excellent. It was just not as warm as it should have been coming out of the kitchen. The steak, after it was cooked on their hot stone had very good seasoning, and flavor. I highly doubt it was really "Australian Wagyu Rib-Eye". It was good, definitely Prime Choice, but most likely a "Cisco Foods" American beef. Way too much fat content for what they were advertising. $89 Australian Wagyu would never have that much fat through it. The taste, and seasoning were good but the quality wasn't anything better than you would get from a "Texas Road House" rib-eye. All in all, very disappointing. Probably would have been fine if the price point matched the quality. As with the new "self checkout" generation, the service wasn't terrible but for $200 dinner for two it's ridiculous to think that you expect people to tip well when they have to ring up their own groceries or cook their own food at their table. The loud "out of place" European Techno blaring, the darkness and loud voices over the music made this really not worth the money. There might be hope for this place to keep the style they want to charge for if they cleaned it up and made the ambiance match the food prices. Otherwise, this restaurant is gimmick based "hot stone cooking at the table" with sub par quality meats, preparation, and the service isn't any better than you would expect at Denny's.

Food is amazing. Drinks are soooo neat and yummy. Service impeccable. Had filet flight, and Japanese a-5 is so far above my usual. Australian wagu and American are fantastic too... the potatoe is ginormous, plan to share. Inside, the place is kozy and lively
