The Touristy Waterfront Seafood Restaurant Power Rankings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"This place located at the northern end of Pike Place is where you might be tempted to take a visiting relative whose eyes light up at anything that says “Crabhouse.” It’s an upscale dining room where they gallantly stretch out white tablecloths—but the food disappoints. You’ll need to send a search party out to find seafood in the crab melt topped with a sickening amount of cheese, and the clam chowder is a watery mess. Even the waterfront views are a let-down now that there’s so much construction next door. Bring your seafood-loving aunt elsewhere." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente, kayla sager riley

Chef Pop-Ups Provide Opportunity, and for Marginalized Chefs, Some Larger Questions | Eater

"A hawker-style pop-up serving crab that has been described as a runaway success in Seattle, operating primarily out of partner venues and relying on a small team and the host’s infrastructure to reach customers. The project has given its chef a public platform and new audiences while clarifying long-term ambitions to open a permanent restaurant, even as she grapples with immigrant-specific barriers like licensing, paperwork, and financing; mentorship programs and local business resources have helped bridge some of those gaps." - Jaya Saxena

Google
The food was pretty decent at a slightly higher price, we got the clam chowder, calamari, and seafood trio. The clam chowder was delicious but I wish it came with some bread to go along with it. The calamari was decent but the sauce definitely went a long way. The seafood trio had the salmon and scallop a tad overdone, but the mash potatoes were good and the shrimp was very fresh (highlight of the night). The service was great (our server was Elijah) and took the time to explain each part of each dish.

Google
The only reason I'm giving this review two stars instead of one is that the food was decent, but the service was horrendous. Let's start with the fact that I saw other angry customers either waiting to pay or waiting to order, so it wasn't just us. We had a party of six a spent quite a bit of money on lunch here and I would never go back. I saw salads and other food sitting on top of the counter in the kitchen for long periods of time. Our waiter started to avoid us because he knew things were going south. To all other establishments out there, make sure everyone at the table is served their meals at the same time. Four of us sat there and stared at our food waiting politely on the others in our party to receive their meals. It took another 5-10 for their dishes to arrive. We had to flag down a busboy since our waiter avoided us. The manager finally came over and apologized, but all he did was make excuses. I was watching him the whole time, no urgency, no leadership, just a disaster. He took $75 off of our bill, but it was still over $200. Next time, just pay for the whole thing. I'm certainly not looking for a free meal, but our entire experience was a complete disaster and you and your restaurant should be completely embarrassed. I'm from out of town and couldn't wait to enjoy a great seafood meal. This was my worst restaurant experience on our vacation.

Google
Delicious seafood with a wonderful view. We enjoyed watching sailboats, ferries, and even an ocean freighter. We could also see Mt. Rainier! We came here after a day of sight seeing with our Michigan family. It's a white table cloth and black napkin kind of place, so we freshened up at the hotel before dining. The guys in our family wore dress shorts and colored shirts. We saw other customers wearing a similar attire. YOU NEED A RESERVATION! Use the Open Table app. We had a table for 6 with two children. They have a nice kids' menu. Our grandkids chose the cheeseburger with fries option. However, they were the only children in the restaurant the night we dined. One member of our family doesn't like seafood. Our server was able to make some substitutions, and she enjoyed chicken fettuccine.

Google
Our group started off with the Crabhouse Sampler (Red King Crab Legs, Snow Crab Legs, Dungeness Crab). The crab was fantastic. After that, we sampled the Chilean Sea Bass, Alaskan Halibut, Crab & Artichoke Dip, Crab Stuffed Sole, All of the food was top-notch, but my favorite was the crab and sea bass. The price matches the food quality, but it was worth it. The view on the water is gorgeous, too.

Google
Staffs amazing , great at making recommendations. Food was just as good i would for sure go back. The view from this restaurant just what your looking for as its bay front. The staff's recommendations truly enhanced the dining experience. The food was exceptional and left a lasting impression. A return visit is definitely in order. The restaurant's view added a special touch to the ambiance. It was a memorable meal overall.

Google
Great view but no outside seating. Burger was the best my wife has ever had, but the fries were luke warm. Solid clam chowder. Most enjoyed their meals; but explained to the server that my salmon had to be medium rare but it arrived cooked through and cooked unevenly one side cooked noticeably than the other. An average meal.

Google
The seafood is so fresh. Shrimp cocktail was amazing. And the smoked old fashioned. My server was so warm and attentive. This is a must right on the pier.

Google
Food was pretty good but service wasn't to my expectations. Didn't appreciate plates almost pulled from under our noses. Sure, it was close to closing time, but there is probably a nicer way to manage this. And then firstly they ruined my birthday surprise, and then they served the cake to wrong person.

Yelp
Oh my gosh. This was the BEST place ever! My boyfriend looked online for their availability on a super busy Sunday, and they had options! Our server (I forget his name) was so diligent on keeping track of our beverages and was overall amazing. The food? FANTASTIC. The vibe in the restaurant is so beautiful, great music, lighting was incredible and just overall the best experience.

Yelp
This restaurant was so on point tonight! From the bar to the kitchen, each experience exceeded my expectations. And the service, the staff! Each person so personable and knowledgeable! Special kudos to Andra, , Ethan, Edward and Yoshi. I am just shy of Nirvana!

Yelp
Last minute visit to Seattle and wanted to try something new. Place is in the touristy part of town but menu and ambiance looked promising. Went for dinner and had the crab legs which were delicious. Caesar salad was tasteful. Don't recall what my partner had - stuffed halibut? We were seated at 9 and service for drinks was a little slow but I was pleasantly surprised how good the place was. I'll go again
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
Let me just say, very old school serving mentality. Very slow drink service. Service overall very generic. Food, overpriced. Went to dinner here on a Friday night with a friend visiting Seattle and craving seafood. Dishes are small and way over priced. It would be hard to want to come back. Advice: get more bartenders, stop being so formal, have some hustle. Great music, clean restaurant

Yelp
OK, the reason for only two stars is not so much about the food or the view. The reason for the two stars is about the service and the lack of timeliness. We were seated at a nice table with a great view of the waterfront and we let the waiter know that we had a show to get to. We had an hour and 15 minutes so it should've been plenty of time. Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes to get our appetizers and then the pumpkin shrimp was dry and overcooked. The salads were fine. But then it took another 20 minutes to get our entrées. The waiter of just kept saying they are coming right out. The crab stuffed halibut was delicious, but we really didn't have time to enjoy it because we were in such a rush. There's really no excuse for this as we got there at five and the restaurant was not busy.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with excellent views! The staff was very nice and helpful. I had the lunch special and I have to say it was nice to have a decently priced lunch in this area. I had the open faced crab cake sandwich with a wedge salad and couple oysters. So the crab cake sandwich was pretty good- however, while it tasted good, there was almost no crab in this. It was mostly cream, cheese and artichokes. It seems like they take the dip and put it in a sandwich. I hoped that being in Seattle I'd get some crab, but there was almost none in it. The wedge salad was tasty and done well, kind of small considering they up charge you for it. So while it's tasty this crab cake sandwich totally missed the mark! I had a couple of each of the oysters and they brought me delight! Perfectly shucked. (Although I did have to remind my server to bring them). Also- the iced tea was so watered down, it was basically water, I wouldn't normally care except they charged 5.50!! For watered down iced tea! I would try this place again but I'd skip the crab cakes and tea.I'd love to see the crab cake mostly composed of crab and I'd give that another shot, though.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner and it was absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious and you get a nice view of the Seattle waterfront. Highly recommend the stuffed panko crusted halibut. The oysters were very fresh as well! The service was amazing, and very friendly. Great place for a romantic night out or some time with family and friends!

Yelp
Seafood had a good taste but for the price it really wasn't great! Best thing I had was the cheesecake ... now that was amazing

Yelp
We had a long layover in Seattle so we went down to Pike Market Place and came across this restaurant nearby. We had a beautiful view and the service was good. It wasn't too busy, but started to pick up after we got seated. Daniel was our server and he was sweet, engaging and attentive. I ordered half a dozen of seasonal oysters and it was delightful. I got the lobster and shrimp pasta which was so yummy, it was better than I expected. My partner ordered a burger and fries. It came with this sweet and sour sauce or jelly, it was unique and flavorful. I'd definitely come back here again when I'm in town. My only regret is not getting an Espresso Martini.

Yelp
Apparently this place has been here forever. They have happy hour and their happy hour botanical berry mule is really good. The server/bartender was super attentive.

Yelp
Have you had the giant crab legs at Cutters Crabhouse at Pike Place Market? I've lived in Seattle for almost 25 years and for whatever reason it has never crossed my mind to eat here. As of yesterday, I think I will add this to my list of restaurants to take visitors, especially if they are interested in eating crab at a restaurant. The service was friendly, professional, and hospitable. The crab legs tasted amazing! They were huge, meaty, and fresh. It went well with the Mediterranean Couscous with mushroom and bottle of Poet's Leap Riesling. Plus, the view of the sound truly added to the ambiance and our positive first experience of dining here. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We went here and were going to make a reservation but had forgot so we walked in. They were able to sit us in the bar area which had tables and full service so no big deal. They said they were full w reservations, however in debating if we wanted to sit at the bar area or restaurant area for more water view, looked on open table and there were reservations for the time slot of 7pm which was ten minutes from when we got there, which the host said they were full. No big deal as we decided to just do the bar area. Side note: if on the water and people come for the views, cleaning the windows would help, many were so dirty or handprints all over that didn't matter how nice the view, also diminished the aesthetic of the restaurant which appears to be a nicer establishment. Anyways back to the food and service. Our waitress came over and we had been there a minute, not too long though, but she greeted by saying oh my god, I don't even know how long you've been sitting here. That should've been the red flag of the night. She wasn't that busy but was rushed and all over the place. At one point the two tables around us had their food and they came after and even had bigger parties. After waiting over an hour she blamed it on us having the shrimp cocktail appetizer and then said they had a cruise ship trip party come into the restaurant section so it slows the kitchen down. So she says let me go check on your food and low and behold she's carrying it to the table on the way back, assuming it was probably ready but she stood and talked at the bar for so long with every employee that passed by that she wouldn't have known if it were ready or not and if we didn't flag her down might've taken longer. We also sat with empty drinks for at least 10-15 minutes before we flagged her down for refills. The kicker was at the end though when she said I thought the other guy dropped your check let me go see where it is. However never offered dessert or anything, which we planned to do, but at that point just decided to find dessert somewhere else. Other tables around us were also flagging her down and waiting on things and we overheard comments from each table and she always blamed it on something. One table she said the chefs had to remake the food because it wasn't right, etc. Onto the food. This is where I give it some stars because the service was a 1 and honestly in visiting Seattle, the worst service we had anywhere. The food was good, the halibut had nice flavor so we truly enjoyed our food and our company. The presentations of the food were lacking, but the taste did make up for that. All in all, good food but the service needs big improvement.

Yelp
Great seafood dishes and diverse choices, with a beautiful view of the water near Pikes Place in Seattle, Washington. If you are visiting, you must eat here. The host was very kind and friendly. Our waiter, Timothy, was excellent--and not just because he's from Atlanta--knowing the menu well and making a few recommendations. What we loved most about him was his attentiveness and enjoyment! Our group of four ordered the spicy sashimi roll, Crab Cakes and Pan-seared Chilean Sea Bass! That crab-house sampler, fish and chips was delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass that I had was perfectly prepared! It had a taste of buttery goodness and tender flakes! Fresh and straight from the heavens of the bay! The crab cakes were delicious! This dish had succotash all around it and tasted great! Do you feel hungry right now? I recommend visiting this restaurant!!

Yelp
Excellent views, great service.. 1st we had a bowl of delicious Clam chowder. Loaded with clams,& bacon. Yum. Next a CEASAR salad. Super fresh with a good dressing. Fresh parmigiana.Seattle sour dough bread & butter . Then pan sautéed halibut with a nutty rice and fresh roasted veg. The fish was cooked medium rare. I like it that way. It was a bit undercooked for hubby, we chose not to send it back. My hubby had an IPA from their large selection. Great wines as a well. We finished with a key lime pie--oh my!! Soo good. The real deal. We will definitely eat here again.

Yelp
This place is fantastic!!! The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The view especially at sunset, is perfect. On a clear day you can see Rainer from it. We will be returning on a regular basis!

Yelp
This is one of the best places to eat at in Seattle now. Crazy how things changed after Covid! A lot of places went downhill but it's the opposite for cutters! Everything is now fresh and top notch along with amazing service at cutters. We have been coming in the past two years and it's consistently good. It blew my mind and I am now a regular to cutters. Unbeatable freshness with unbeatable price. As of 04-2024. Mic drop.

Yelp
Dined here last night for a late anniversary dinner. Reservations were easy to get and it wasn't very crowded. The hostess acknowledged us promptly, and even congratulated us on our anniversary. I let them know when I made the reservation. Just a note... For parking purposes, they do validate for the underground parking that is adjacent to the restaurant. We started out with some oysters on the half shell and seafood chowder. Both were absolutely outstanding! For the main courses, we selected jambalaya, and Chilean Seabass. Both were done to perfection, and the service was outstanding. For dessert we enjoyed crème brûlée. We look forward to our next dining adventure!

Yelp
Great views and great service , food was descent Went to dinner with a few colleagues and had a great time - we started with the mussels in Moroccan sauce which was a bit spicy and rich , overall very food (4/5) We also ordered the shrimps on a skewer which was a special , they were also very fresh and juicy 4.5/5 I ordered the fish and chips and my entry which was ok - the fish felt fresh but the overall portion was quite small . The French fries were just meh. 3.5/5 I also ordered a mojito which was not bad at all 4/5 My first impression was more of a tourist trap but it ended up being a descent meal . Prices are on the high side but not super expensive

Yelp
A staple every time I visit Seattle! The food is consistently good, views for days, and the staff is really nice. Every visit I tend to lean towards a crab dish and an absolute must, The Unveiling. It's a tequila drink for two that is just as enchanting as an actual elixir. I highly recommend checking out this upscale seafood eatery if you can!
google avatar

Marietsy P.

Yelp
The food here was delicious including the views. It's right next to the end of pike place. The service was good and accommodating as we were a group of 14. The bartender was great and friendly. We had the artichoke dip for the appetizer and while delicious it did not come with enough breads for the dip. The plates were large in size. I had the open faced crab sandwich with truffle fries. It was a little salty but good. Overall it was a nice experience.
google avatar

Nar Y.

Yelp
Food, service, and drinks are amazing here. We loved the muscles and calamari! The view is also breathtaking. 10/10, would recommend!
google avatar

Marc L.

Yelp
A great place that seems to get overlooked right next to Pile Place Market. We were seated by the window so we had a great view. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We started with the calamari which was very good and not oily. My wife ordered the salmon which was perfectly cooked and I had the Sake Marinated Chilean Sea Bass which was delicious! I recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner. They also have a nice bar area as well.
google avatar

Andy P.

Yelp
Food was delicious, ambiance was very nice and our server could not have been more pretentious. When we asked about the happy hour menu, he said he had no access to that. We found out after dinner he actually had tables in a different area that had the menu. It was more the lack of service, lack of customer care, and pretentiousness that turned us all off (2 locals and 2 from out of state). There are many other options, so, I'd recommend exploring them rather than risking terrible service.
google avatar

Marie C.

Yelp
We ordered on DoorDash since we were not in the mood to go out. The halibut was fantastic and so was the sea bass. We ordered the crab dip. The dip was sooo delicious and I'd go back just for that but the bread was horrible and too hard to chew. I was super annoyed that we ordered and the food didn't come with utensils or napkins, very frustrating that we had to go searching and all we could get was a spoon. Price was a bit high but the food was good.
google avatar

Bill F.

Yelp
Our drinks and appetizers were excellent, but the entrees were quite boring and overly expensive. I had a smoked bourbon which was so incredibly good and fun to watch them prepare tableside. The crab and artichoke dip was also very good and they give you plenty to share. For dinner, I had the grilled seafood trio for $39.50 an it included a smallish piece of salmon, a few shrimp, a couple of scallops, and a small pile of veggies. It was good but nothing really stood out about it, so I felt ripped off for that price. A friend had the fish and chips and really liked it, but others were a little disappointed with what they got for the price. I get that this is a Landry's place and so the decor was neat, the location great, and the service was excellent. I think in hindsight we would have been better off eating dinner earlier at a smaller local place, but unfortunately most everything around the Pike Market closes around 5pm.
google avatar

Amie L.

Yelp
Wow! We stopped in twice during our trip. Early in the day on 2/17/24 we sat at the bar and had exceptional service from Heather the bar tender. She was a delight and made unbelievably delicious cocktails. No crowd midday on a Saturday which was awesome! Because the service was so good we decided to make a dinner reservation for that night. The restaurant hostess accommodated and saved us a table by the water! I ordered the seared ahi and a bowl of clam chowder and it was so good. The views along the water windows are serene and beautiful!! Waiter was kind and we had very fast and attentive service. Overall excellent experience here and will return!
google avatar

Rachel W.

Yelp
Service, spinach artichoke dip and the cocktails were the only highlight of this experience. Shrimp cocktail was gray in color and was very mushy. The dip came about 30-35 minutes after it was ordered because the original sat in the window for so long and was remade. Our food came out cold and dry and most definitely not worth the price tag. The service was good as were the drinks. Overall go somewhere else, this is not worth it.
google avatar

Karl A.

Yelp
What a great meal. First off, thank you to our server James (Shamp), he did a great job of taking care of us. We had a great table at the windows. The view of the water is fantastic. The food came out quickly, and it was delicious. The filet was cooked perfectly to order. It was seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were next level! Buttery and smooth. The Baja King Salmon was amazing. Tender and juicy! The meal was one of the highlights of our day! Great location, great service, great food!
google avatar

Aidan L.

Yelp
there are some stunners on this menu like the caesar salad, avacado and crab sushi roll and crab stuffed shrimp. Service was solid, too. only down side is this: if you don't get ocean front seats, your dining experience might fall a little short.
google avatar

Damon W.

Yelp
We came here for our wedding anniversary. It was a nice quiet weeknight, so we had the place almost to ourselves. The waiter was so nice. He took a picture for us and brought us a free dessert for our anniversary. All the food was excellent. This is an excellent place to go for a special occasion.

Gayla T.

Yelp
They view was wonderful and we had a great server. The Chilean Sea Bass was heaven sent!!!
google avatar

Aj T.

Yelp
Took my fiancé out here yesterday before a concert with our daughter. I remembered it being great 15 years ago and thought it would be a great place for two people that love crab. I WAS WRONG!!!!!! The shrimp was old and should have been thrown out not served. The other appetizer we ordered didn't come until our food came, 35 min after we ordered! The staff was horrible. We watched food for other tables sitting in the window for 20 min. One of the servers had 2 tables out of the seven in there and would not take others food out just walk buy. The manager was very overwhelmed and look like she had no idea what was going on, straightening tables while food sat. The cooks looked un motavated, and dint care about the quality of the food. All the food was cold and overcooked. Do not eat here!!!!!

C H.

Yelp
Had dinner last night with my sister, took an hour to get our food, no checking in or update after delivering the appetizer. Waited for the server to come back, he eventually asked if we wanted more bread for the half eaten crab dip, we said yes. After flagging down someone else sometime later for an update on the bread or dinner he took the remaining crab dip and we didn't even notice until the brought more bread! I told another server and he just replied ok. Over an hour later after we got our food and bill they even charged us for the extra bread! Overall a very frustrating experience blamed the delay on a banquet in the back but everyone around us was getting their drinks and appetizers. Unbelievably disappointed and was not worth the trip out.
google avatar

Laura B.

Yelp
Such good fish and chips. The best I've ever had. My dining companions enjoyed their meals too. Mahi mahi and other good things. Great Brussels side dish. Attentive service and nice atmosphere--view of the water from our table was relaxing.

Yelp
This place was recommended by my hotel. The place to go for King Crab. When we arrived the hostess stand was challenged as to who to seat first. There was 3 parties of 2. Not a big challenge. Once seated, our waitress asked if we were Landry rewards members. This is the point where we should have left. This was an understaffed Landry's restaurant. Tilman Fertitta should be ashamed. When we were seated in the main dining room, our waitress disappeared for 10 minutes. When she returned, she told us she was also the bartender for the night. What a sh*t show. The king crab was discussing and disappointing.
google avatar

Mike H.

Yelp
Cutters Crabhouse was recommended to us by friends who live in Seattle. We were told the ambiance, staff and food are all amazing. It was easy to agree with them, from the friendly greeting as we entered, to the friendly knowledgeable waitress and of course the very delicious food and drinks. Will definitely visit again during our next trip.

Yelp
Customer service was amazing. Seated quickly with amazing view of the water. Best thing we ate though was the blackened salmon just melted in your mouth. Drinks were exquisite. Was happy to try out happy after our late lunch service. Oysters were yum and I loved you could order single.

Yelp
Visited today 4/19 about 20 minutes before the end of happy hour. When we walked in we stopped at the booth to inquire about happy hour and was greeting by a blonde male. He insisted that even though we were there within happy hour time, they could not seat anyone else at the bar (which was not full) due to having a new bartender. He said we could sit at the bar in about 25 minutes (again after happy hour was over of course) We asked, if we can be seated in the dining hall, can we order from the happy hour menu and was promptly told no. As a member of the service industry, speaking with this host was not a good experience. He really could care Less. Then while looking over the posted menu, we also overheard what we assumed was a manger in a purpleish reddish suit, casually talking about how not to seat anyone else at the bar and other ways to get them into the dining room. Overall crappy service for such a nice restaurant.
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
Well, food was decent. I wouldn't say very memorable. I wouldn't return. Our table was terrible and so was the service. Our server was not attentive or friendly. He could hardly speak English so it was work to communicate. We had the crab sampler and were not given crab cracker or bowl to put shells until 10 min after receiving the dish. I don't recommend. 280 for 2 Value non existent.

Merry G.

Yelp
We recently ate here. we did not have a great experience. The interior seemed run down and the outdoor area was under construction. The service was also not great. First waiter could not answer questions about the menu. They brought over another one, and he was better, but kept pushing the more expensive stuff, which was annoying. Then they kept trying to take our plates when we were not even 1/2 done! You can see the meal prices online. Not inexpensive so I would have expected better service and atmosphere. The food was fine/good but did not justify prices.

Yelp
Had just landed into Seattle, on my birthday, and knew exactly what I wanted for dinner.....what I had been craving for a very long time......good ole boiled crabs!.....Jumbo Alaskan King crab legs and Dungeness. After having Yelp'd some potential spots nearby the hotel, Cutter's popped up, and so Cutter's it was. Although it was in the later mid-afternoon, we were still a bit worried that there may be a wait to get a table, but everything went very easy......we walked in, was greeted by the hostess, had us wait a few minutes while our table was being set up....since we had requested a nice window seat with a great view of the water. We were attended to Eli (sorry if I spelled that wrong), who was so nice, friendly, and took great care of us all throughout our time here. Anyway, we went ahead and ordered the Crabhouse Sampler...which came with Alaskan Red King Crab Legs (chilled), Alaskan Snow Crab Legs (chilled), and Dungeness Crab (steamed to order)......which was served with a herbed couscous, seasonal market vegetables, drawn butter and fresh lemon. The only live crab was the Dungeness (so we were told).....and due to my wife's allergy to raw seafood, we asked that it be cooked a bit longer. Just for some variety, we also went ahead and ordered the Grilled Seafood trio.....which came with scallops, shrimp, and salmon....served with a side of Yukon gold mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, beurre blanc capers, and a wedge of lemon. To make things a bit more healthy, we also ordered the recommended Farmer's Market Salad.....which came with grilled corn, sliced radish, carrots, charred cauliflower and broccoli, pickled red onion, with a vanilla honey vinaigrette dressing, and sweet harissa (chili paste). Ok, we were totally blown away with the incredibly succulent king crab legs and snow crab legs.....the meat went sooooo deliciously well with the drawn butter.....it was so hard to stop enjoying them. In fact, they were so good that we went ahead and re-ordered a second round of Alaskan red king crab legs......and to our amazement, it tasted even more fresh, juicy, and delicious than the first round! What a feast! As for the Dungeness crab, we think because we asked that they be cooked a bit longer, the meat turned out a bit dry and shriveled. But daaaaaaang, the king crab legs more than made up for all that! The grilled seafood trio was very good too....everything perfectly prepared, fresh, and delicious. But, the focus of the meal was definitely the crabs, which we thoroughly enjoyed....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, indeed! :) I guess the only let down was perhaps the salad.....all the ingredients were fresh, but the portion size was very small for the price. And what a nice way to end our dinner.....because, while making our dinner reservation online, we were asked if there was an occasion, and I mentioned "for a birthday." The restaurant was nice enough to present me with a complimentary molten chocolate cake with a candle on top.....yummy!

Yelp
I thought the food was really great and the view is nice as well but they do have construction going on next to the restaurant. Definitely recommend going. We had a rainbow roll and it was delicious. Service was very good as well and it has a nice atmosphere.

Yelp
They don't even have king crab legs on the menu. Everything here is just a dish with some seafood. I don't understand how the name has Crabhouse in it and I can't get any crab. OK, so it turns out they have crab. It is on the night menu and they leave it off the lunch menu so I'm glad I told the bartender what I wanted so now I'm bout to get some crab and I'll let y'all know if it taste good.

Yelp
A great option around the bustling Pike place that has been consistent over my several visits. I have not found a favorite on the menu yet but continue to sample different fare on each visit. I keep hoping for a signature dish to try but most for my selections have been a strong 3. That said, the ambiance is uptown to match the great service. The views on a nice day are hard to beat and the kitchen has been notably quick to turn order's

Yelp
Came here on a whim straight from the airport on business travel seeking a good place for steamed Alaskan King Crab legs. I found the menu outside Cutter's storefront and looked good. From the outside looking in, Cutter's looked like a nice spot to relax after walking spot to spot along The Pike only to encounter overly crowded restaurants. Walked in and seated right away. The restaurant was fairly empty during early Sunday afternoon. I knew what I wanted so Red Alaskan King Crab it is. Comes with herbed couscous, seasoned veggies, butter and lemon. Served steamed which is the way I like having crab served, this 1 pound serving wasn't prepared for easy de-shelling. This crab leg was thorny as hell. Wasn't split or slit down the middle. For $110 for a pound, you figure the chef would do some work. The legs weren't as thick as I expected and lots of shell. Also, tasted a bit dry. I asked for more seasoned veggies and skipped the couscous, but the serving was still skimpy. Tax, tip, iced tea. About $150 for appetizer size dish. Not worth the visit. Service here is about average. The manager was kind enough to give me another cloth towel for de-shelling the crab legs. The only thing I did enjoy here was the view from the restaurant. Great view of the Sound and the cruise ships close by.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our dinner here! Josh took care of us and provided 5 star service! We started with the Ahi Stack for an appetizer followed by oysters on the half shell and finished with our main course which was Manny's Fish and Chips and Crab Stuffed Shrimp. Restaurant was empty with only 4-5 tables occupied. We went on a Wednesday night at 7pm and light rain so don't know I if that had something to do with the empty tables. Didn't matter, we had a great time and loved the location! Thanks again Josh for taking care of us!! Have a great week, The Sisters!

Yelp
Had date night yesterday at Cutters. Her first time, I've been there a few and always happy. We were going to stop somewhere else in the Market for a drink first but decided to he straight there and have one in the bar before sitting down at the table. The very sharp host said "we have your table ready and it's right on the window if you'd prefer that" which we did and it was perfect. Glass of wine for her and a Gibson for me, and yes they had cocktail onions. She had the seafood fettuccine and I had blackened King salmon; both were excellent. Almost no heat to the salmon, but the flavor and texture were great. And the accompanying veggies were way above average. We both took about half home so we would have room for the chocolate lava cake, delicious. Don't remember our servers name but he was prompt and engaging. Did a great job. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Yelp
My sister and I ordered the same dish - crab and shrimp fettuccini. The shrimp was very over cooked and tough on both entrees and the pasta was gloopy and unappetizing. We also ordered a rainbow roll which was dry and tough on both ends, however the middle was OK and edible. The drinks were great, the cheesecake was decent, but the food was very disappointing. I paid $300 for three people for dinner which included four drinks and tip. I chose not to complain because we were with other family members and I didn't want to be a Debbie downer for the rest of the table. The service was good and I had a view of the water which was nice. But I would not recommend this place for dinner due to poor food quality and price.

Yelp
Just had the joy of meeting dear friends from out-of-town, and trusting their first Seattle restaurant visit to the care and yummy fare at our beloved Cutters. The experience did not disappoint! From the very warm welcome at the reception desk, to the friendly and efficient table service by Ethan (he's a gem! Triple his pay!!!), to the wonderful food and beverages...it was a lovely Friday lunch. Plus, whatever the Cutters staff has to do with ordering up the incredible view - good on ya!!! Thank you, THANK YOU...a true High Point in our guests weekend conference travel.
