We had an AMAZING dinner tonight at Daniel’s- a restaurant we’ve been wanting to try for quite some time and it exceeded expectations! Our server Nelson was extremely attentive, made great recommendations, and made the experience that much better. While everything we ordered was excellent, the highlight for us was the steak along with the sides (potato truffle fonduta + creamed corn). I’d recommend 100%! We will definitely be back!

We came for an early Valentine’s Day dinner, the vibes were amazing. The amount of times I drove by here not knowing what a gem was inside. I’m definitely late to the Daniel’s hype but it was truly sooo good! From the atmosphere to the service to the food and the small hospitality details that many might overlook but it’s shows the attention to details. We had the most wonderful servers both Joe and Sebastian were top notch service. Great recommendation, super attentive even with a busy night and quick delivery of our dishes. I find that with places like this or just popular spots quality gets lost fast but I can honestly say this isn’t the case. It was an amazing time. Highly recommended ending with the espresso martini! We will definitely be back in the future!

Had an amazing experience at Daniel’s Steakhouse. The Wagyu porterhouse was the star of the night—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared, which honestly makes all the difference. On top of the food, the customer service was top-tier—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. You can tell they care about the experience just as much as the food. If you’re looking for a true steakhouse experience in Fort Lauderdale, Daniel’s delivers across the board. We had a lovely dinner for six at Daniel’s in Fort Lauderdale. The location of the restaurant is easy to access and they have valet behind the building which is very convenient. The restaurant is open concept with the kitchen being open to the restaurant. The restaurant was completely sold out and I highly recommend reservations. I saw a few people trying to get tables without reservations and most ended up eating at the bar or leaving. Due to the restaurant being so full the only complaint I really have is that it was very loud in there. I do not know how they would correct that, but there were times where I couldn’t hear the people at my table speaking. Once our dinner time was progressing and the restaurant thinned out just a little bit, the noise level made a significant improvement. The food is absolutely amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and the time from ordering food to receiving it was impressive considering how full the restaurant was. One of my guests ordered the Australian Wagyu New York strip, and said it was the best steak he had ever had. Another guest ordered the wagyu delmonico ribeye and loved it. I do not eat red meat and there were plenty of options for me as well. I had the red snapper which was absolutely delicious. We also ordered sides to share for the table which included lobster mac & cheese, twice baked potato and mushrooms. For dessert, we had a build your own sundae and the key lime pie. A minor sidenote regarding the sundae the brownie pieces were fresh baked and absolutely delicious. One more item I have to shout out is their bread. It’s part of their appetizer options and I highly recommend giving it a try. They make a butter for the bread that is something I’ve never had before. It has a touch of salt, a touch of citrus. It’s very flavorful and delicious. We really enjoyed our time at Daniel‘s. Would highly recommend it!

The easiest 5 star review I’ve ever written. Finally Fort Lauderdale has a true fine dining experience. The attention to detail is second to none when it comes to the service. When I was sat, I was offered a black napkin instead of their standard white due to my dark colored outfit, and they also offered me a shawl in case I was cold. I have never seen such considerate service in any restaurant in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. They noticed when I placed my bag on the booth and immediately brought over a bag hook for the table. This area boasts plenty of fine dining restaurants with price points on the menu that are similar to Daniel‘s, if not more expensive. But none of them have set themselves apart in the realm of service nearing what Daniel’s had done last night. We chose to go here because so many people have told us that it was a great restaurant, and we decided to try it out to celebrate a birthday. It could not have made the night feel more special. And I can also appreciate the relationship that the restaurant has with the farms from which it procures its food. We enjoyed everything we had and would highly recommend the Florida burrata, the crabcake, and the milk bread for starters. The truffled potato fonduta was out of this world; there’s no way we can’t order that the next time we eat here. The portion sizes are generous, we were left with plenty to take home with us. And the banana bread for dessert is a must have! We were surprised when our server, Doug, told us it was gluten free. You never would have known and it’s nice to have an inclusive item on the dessert menu. Only two suggestions. First, (and I’m aware it’s a steakhouse, so you get what you sign up for) would be that there is little variety for an entree outside of beef or red meat. With only a couple of fish options, I’d love to see another dish like a porkchop on the menu as well. Second, the music choice stood out in an odd way for us; I expected maybe some light music or even live music but were surprised to be listening to pop music, like She Wolf by Shakira, when having a nice dinner. If live music could ever be incorporated into the restaurant, I think Daniel’s would be the pinnacle of fine dining (it’s basically already there). Outside of that, Doug was attentive and knowledgeable. We were made to feel welcomed and special. And we will certainly be back to try a few other menu items that piqued our interest. Of course, we will be telling people they need to try Daniel’s for themselves. Thank you for a truly memorable and exceptional experience

From the moment we arrived, Daniel’s Fl Steakhouse exceeded every expectation. The valet service was impeccable two polite and very professional Latino gentlemen welcomed us with warmth and courtesy, setting the tone for a truly special evening. I loved how the experience begins even before stepping inside, with that elegant and attentive service that makes you feel genuinely valued. We were seated in a beautiful spot the table was perfect, and the atmosphere was the ideal balance between relaxed and vibrant. Our server was wonderful, taking the time to guide us through the menu and share his recommendations. I started with a margarita that was simply delicious. We shared bao buns and meatballs, both full of flavor and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered a steak I tried a bite and it was absolutely divine, cooked to perfection. I chose the rigatoni Bolognese, a classic Italian pasta that was comforting and full of authentic flavor. Everything we tried was outstanding from the presentation to the flavors and the overall experience. Daniel’s offers elegance, warmth, and a refined dining atmosphere that makes you want to come back again soon. Highly recommended a true gem in Fort Lauderdale.

This is a very interesting restaurant — if you get it, you get it. If not, feel free to drive by. It’s not your typical local spot and definitely not a chain. It’s unconventional, thoughtfully curated, and clearly built with intention. The menu is well-designed, the food is genuinely excellent, and the service is polished and professional. What really stands out is the manager. The manager doesn’t just manage — he is part of the system. Present everywhere and nowhere at the same time: leading, supporting, serving, and overseeing every detail. That level of involvement shows. The staff truly knows what they’re doing and how to make your dinner comfortable, delicious, and special. This is one of those rare places that deserves a star next to its name. Highly recommended. You can thank me later.

An outstanding steakhouse! Every plate has personality and is cooked to perfection with special mention on presentation We had foie gras. crème brûlée,, lobster mac & cheese, amazing T bone, key lime pie, chocolate chip cookie, La Pistolina wine. Bread is soo delicious! Ambiance is classy, elegant, glamorous. Service has been consistently great, only this time our server was a bit impatient with our time to decide our order. In my favs and must go list when visiting FLL..

We stopped by for an happy hour and became die heart fans! Best Bartenders, Best Cocktails, Best Appetizers! If you appreciate a Outstanding Bar Service and Wonderful food this is the place!. The room was alive and magical to watch. Everything was ******! I don't usually drink, but last night I had 2! Thanks for a wonderful experience! Oh did I say the food was great!

I came to restaurant on a Saturday night, around 10pm after seeing it online the previous week. Since I was alone I opted to sit at the bar. I asked if they made caipirinha's, Rodney was my incredible bar tender. He mentioned he didn't think they had the Cacacha rum for it but would double check. When he came back he advised in fact they did not have the Brazilian rum. I opted for a strawberry margarita as a replacement and it was very good. I ordered the 8oz filet with the double baked potato with no sour cream, I was advised that the sour cream was already mixed in. So I opted for just the steak, Rodney suggested the mashed potatoes and said it was really good. His description of it convinced me so I opted to have it without the truffle. The food came out roughly 15-20 min later. The manager I assume (dressed in a suit) stopped by and asked how everything was. Now to the moment of truth, the steak was really good. It had a nice char (super important to me), nicely seasoned. I was very happy. The mashed potato was also very good. Honestly it was enough for 2-3 people, and believe me I can eat a lot of food. A second guy in a suit stopped be and asked me how the steak was (maybe the owner, I'm guessing at this point since he was at the bar most of the time). The food, atmosphere, music, Rodney with his great service were all top tier. Be aware that if you have a hat on you maybe be asked to remove it, no issue there as it is indoors. And valet parking is $10. Mashed potato's with no truffle is $16, filet is $74, and the margarita was $16. Rodney left before I was finished but let me know they his colleague would be taking care of me (they were great too). He suggested I come during the week and that they had a very great happy hour. I think I'll do it. A young lady (red hair and glasses I think), I think she was a server came up to me and said she loved how I "was living my best life", I assume since I was at the bar enjoying a great steak at the bar alone. She was right, great experience. She was super warm and nice. Lastly as I waited for my car some guy pokes me in the back and hands me his parking ticket. I definitely would be back when I am feeling the urge to splurge on steak.

Had an incredible birthday dinner with Nelson as our server a few weeks ago. We enjoyed some happy hour drinks at the bar (great deal on nice wines, and the slider looked insane!) before sitting in the beautiful, VERY comfortable, and modern dining room. I really enjoyed the lighter and brighter aesthetic instead of the dark, trying-to-be-seductive, classic steakhouse vibe. Being Florida-focused in their kitchen is also a novel spin. A black napkin being offered for my dark pants was a great touch I often miss as a demi-goth. Nelson was incredibly gracious and took his time answering our questions and lending his suggestions. The classic Caesar and wagyu tartare were both incredibly tasty. I'm usually a die hard Ribeye person, but I ended up trying my first beef wellington from the Christmas seasonal menu -- it was absolutely stunning to look at and tasted even better. I'm STILL daydreaming about it weeks later. Just like the starters, it was very apparent a labor of love and incredible ingredients were coming together in the kitchen. As we finished up we were pretty full and decided to pass on dessert. Nelson surprised me with a key lime pie with passionfruit and meringue to finish off an absolutely perfect meal. I've definitely found my new favorite steakhouse and can't wait to revisit. In a word: it was exceptional. See you again soon!

If Frank Sinatra or Sammy Davis Jr. were still alive, this would undoubtedly be their spot. The steak is exceptional, sourced from a local ranch, emphasizing their commitment to quality ingredients. Don't miss out on the house pastas, especially the special truffle dishes when they're in season.

I visited the newly opened "Daniel's" last night, which took over the old Val + Tino space at 620 S. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. It's apparent from the minute you step into the restaurant that this is not a typical steakhouse. Whereas most steakhouses have a dimly lit, darker ambience, you're instantly greeted here with a brightly lit ambience and lively scene. We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation time, so we sat at the bar and had a cocktail while we waited. I opted for the "Ring of Fire", which consists of Ilegal Mezcal, Aperol, Black Pepper, and Lime, for $18. Typically expensive for a cocktail in a high end restaurant, but it was very refreshing and flavorful. Just as we were finishing our drink, the hostess came by to tell us that our table was ready, so we paid our tab and followed her over to our table while staring at various tables of people seemingly enjoying their delicious looking steaks. The first thing I noticed when I sat down was the colored plates and gold silverware, which I don't recall ever seeing in a restaurant before. So right off the bat, we could tell this was going to be a unique experience. We were even asked if we preferred a white or a black napkin, which I believe was a first for me. Our server came over shortly after and reviewed the menu with us, explaining how they source all of their ingredients locally here in Florida. Now, one thing that I noticed is that the menu was slightly different than the menu that is posted on their website. It was explained to us that the reason for this was because based on the fact they are committed to sourcing locally, some of their items will be based on availability, and therefore the menu will be an ongoing work in progress and may change on a weekly basis. I've posted a copy of the menu with this review to give you an idea, and you'll notice some of the differences if you compare this to the menu on their website. Since we were absolutely starving, we immediately put in orders for three appetizers to get us started: * Milk bread * Basil Caesar * Florida Burrata The bread almost looked like a pretzel bun but had the texture of a croissant. It was nice and warm and practically melted in my mouth. The salad was unlike any caesar I've ever had, both in presentation and flavor. The dressing wasn't a traditional caesar and had a lemon taste to it. The burrata was super fresh and creamy, and I absolutely love yellow tomatoes, so that was a bonus. For my entree I went with the 8 oz filet, cooked medium, along with a side of peppercorn sauce. In addition, we got 2 sides to share, the Grilled Aparagus and the Potato Fonduta (a fancy term for mashed potatoes). My steak was cooked to perfection, perfectly red in the middle and a nice char on the outside. The peppercorn sauce was to die for. So good in fact, I even dipped my asparagus and potatoes in it. Speaking of which, these were some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had and the portion size was humongous. Watched it all down with a glass of very smooth red wine, but I can't recall at the moment exactly what it was! For dessert we shared some key lime lie which was outrageous, but I was so full at that point I couldn't even eat all of my half of it. Lastly, here's a funny tidbit. Often while eating at a high-end restaurant, I try to guess the tab just for fun (actually, the bill wasn't so fun ). This time, I guessed it would be $377.86, and amazingly, it was $377.71- off by only $.15! Pretty crazy, although I would lose by Price is Right rules by going over. But I digress. The experience was great, the service was top notch, the food was off the charts good, and the atmosphere was very nice. Now, will I be back soon? At a cost of $229 after tip, this is honestly not the type of place I'll come back to weekly or even monthly, but will I come back a few times a year as a treat or for a special occasion? Absolutely. Oh, and I would also come back to check out their happy hour at the bar, which has some reasonably priced drinks and appetizers, which you can see on their menu.

I went on a Friday night around 9 p.m. and got a first come first serve high top table right away. The restaurant was packed. The service was decent and the appetizers were decent as well. The Oysters were fantastic. The Hamachi Crudo was good, but the Beef Tartare was mediocre.

Generally I enjoyed this spot, but there were definitely some things that made the evening lackluster. Let's start with the good: - prompt service - clean & new atmosphere - easy valet parking - great drinks The things that stick out to me in more of a negative way are below: - host stand is wedged up right next to the bar. If there's a line, you're quite literally on top of the bar patrons. There is no room to stand and wait comfortably. - filet had rough parts in it (tendon) and I had to cut around this twice while eating. For a $65 steak I wouldn't expect this. Steak was also undercooked for what I asked, but luckily I'm not as picky when it comes to that - crowd was quite....... Pretentious. Not sure if we were just unlucky being wedged between the two tables that we were...... but both were incredibly rude to the staff. Made dinner feel uncomfortable, overhearing how they were speaking. This isn't fault of the steakhouse; just noticed that the patrons were pretty unfriendly during our visit. Overall a decent experience, though I wouldn't rank it higher than some other spots in the area.

Beautiful restaurant very close to home. Elegant ambience had great service from the dynamic duo Jacobs. Didn't love the kale salad, but did love my main dish wahoo! The rest of my party had the porterhouse steak which they said was amazing. Also the red velvet cake was delicious & moist! They are only open for about two weeks, but looking forward to going back again soon!

Customer service is amazing. It was raining when we got there. Valet gave us umbrellas so we were covered. Our server was Eric and he was amazing. Everything came out promptly but spaced out enough we could enjoy everything. Steak was incredible. Corn pudding is a must for the side. Caviar appetizer was delicious. Key lime pie to end. Beginning to end of the night was seamless. Will definitely be going back. Ask for Eric !

Let me start out by saying, I was blown away by the atmosphere, the great energy and vibe that was generated from other patrons and the staff! I fell in love, If we lived in Florida we would go often. James and Jacob were so knowledgeable about the menu and they understood we wanted to take our time and enjoy our special night. We shared the Caesar salad and it was delicious! Next we had the Cacao de Pepe and there are not enough words to describe how absolutely fantastic this dish was!!! Seriously, I came back from Italy a month ago and I ordered this at the best restaurant in Rome and it was better at Daniel's! I don't think I have had a better meal than this one in a few years! I kept telling my boyfriend how happy I was! lol Lastly we shared the porterhouse steak, it was cooked perfectly, the homemade sauce was made in house. The mashed potatoes were off the charts! Omg the truffles added such flavor. We didn't want to stop eating them. Everything about our night this past weekend was epic! We love Daniel's! Thank you for such an amazing evening. Went tonight for my Dad's 89th Birthday- Amazing food amazing server Angelo from italy - he was truly wonderful - ambience was beautiful upscale and lively Spectacular quality -every dish is unique and so delicious

I think the place is beautiful, our waiter was very nice but I don't love the food for the price. I've been to this location so many times over the years & I feel they always fall short, food is definitely good but the portions are always very small, they either have side dishes or no side dishes & they fail to inform you of portion size so you end up ordering too little. I'm a foodie & don't mind spending but definitely have had same quality food or better for a lot less money.

Loved the vibe. Had early reservations at 5:45 and it was packed. Exactly what you want to see when you walk into an establishment. The decor/vibe was very on point and the service was amazing. I think like 3 managers and owner checked in to see how everything was. The food is A plus, I will be coming back very soon

Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse This week, my girlfriend and I along with my brother, his wife and another couple celebrated our close friend's birthday with a spectacular dinner at Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse! Daniel's founder and owner and successful local attorney, Thomas Angelo was a most gracious host along with his daughter, Kassidy. Let me start by saying, Daniel's has an electric atmosphere, and it is immediately apparent when you walk through the front door, this is the place to be. A Wednesday night and the entire restaurant was packed! The ambiance is elegant, yet comfortable. I love the layout and the décor. It is admittedly quite loud throughout the restaurant and bar, but that really is a true reflection of just how much fun everyone is having. I know I had a great time! The cocktails, especially the signature Daniel's Martini, I found to be expertly prepared, and I loved the unique presentation. The wine list is comprehensive and as Daniel's describes it, there is "something to be enjoyed by every palate and at every price point." We enjoyed several bottles of excellent red wine throughout our various courses. An open kitchen adds to the contemporary layout and connects you to the wonderful culinary creations being prepared and served to the tables filled with hungry patrons. The service is impeccable and the staff, while not intrusive, is merely a glance away should you need anything at all. As for the food itself, where do I even begin? This is most definitely a high-end steakhouse with some of the best beef I have ever tasted. I personally tried both the Prime Creekstone Porterhouse and the Australian Margaret River Wagyu NY Strip, but we started with a couple of their memorable salads. The Basil Caesar and Swank Farms Kale & Hearts of Palm were delightful. The menu includes a healthy number of appetizers to accommodate a wide variety of tastes. There are also several Florida seafood entrees (Key West Hog Fish) and a couple of delicious pasta dishes. You'll find a nice collection of sides, which like at any great steakhouse, are not to be missed. The Corn Pudding and Truffled Cream Spinach were rich and decadent. I also tried several of the wonderful sauces with the different steak entrees we ordered. Absolutely delicious, as was the entire meal from beginning to end. For a truly over-the-top dining experience, I highly recommend Daniel's, A Florida Steakhouse!

Here is the most honest and fair review you will get of this restaurant. The place is jumping! Super busy super active and the place to eat in Fort Lauderdale right now. The restaurant is beautiful and well appointed. The service was very good. The food was good. Be prepared: this restaurant is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Let me also tell you without modest pretense that I have money. But as I stated above this restaurant is absurdly expensive. Two people sharing a meal, bottle of wine ($80) one cocktail each: no appetizers, no salads = $400 with tip. If we had eaten as we regularly do the bill would have been $300 PER PERSON....in Fort Lauderdale Florida. This is going to be a very successful restaurant. You should go and check it out but don't faint when you open the menu

We arrived at opening, 5:00pm and were warmly welcomed and seated. Joe was our assigned server/waiter and he was the pinnacle of exerience. It was obvious he has been in this business a long time. I did not catch his assistant's name, but she was on it with refilling drinks and assisting. Funny enough, of our party of four, I was the only one that cannot eat seafood or meat. I thoroughly enjoyed the side dishes. The other three in our party raved at the oyster and the short rib appetizers, as well as their steaks for the main meal. If there was a downside, for the twice baked potato it was a bit salty. By 6:30, Daniel's was a happening place, all tables filled, plenty of people around the bar, which created a festive atmosphere. Their is little space between the bar patrons and the tables, but we were still able to carry on pleasant conversation at our table. The bar area does make it crowded for either making your way to the restroom or even exiting the restaurant, but the ones around the bar realize that and quickly made space for us to get by.

I've been to the best steak joints in fort laudedale and this ain't one. Felt like I was in a morgue. Don't waste your money or time at this place.

Great food. Truly best steakhouse I have gone to in Ft. Lauderdale. This is a very creative menu with a very attentive staff. The steaks are great but try some of the not so usual suspects. We were very impressed. I can see this place becoming a mainstay in Ft Lauderdale.

Very cool place. Small open dining area and noise level is high, however the food is absolutely worth it! Everything from the crab claws to the tomahawk. We had an amazing experience and the staff was great.

This restaurant is a one and done for me. The manager was not attentive. Never once came over during the whole meal. The lobster bisque was lukewarm at best and the amount of bisque was small. I could not get the waiter's attention to advise of the problem. I also find it funny they charge 8 dollars for bread. The waiter kept forgetting to bring drinks. The one good thing was the steaks and appetizers were good. A very disappointing dining experience. For these prices I can get better service and food at a different steakhouse.

Amazing experience. The decor was very nice and the menu very creative. The wagyu steak was one of our all around favorites along with the foie gras and the lobster tail. Nothing was bad, but could have done without the creamed corn. Would highly recommend coming back. Service was very attentive and they went above and beyond.
