Daniel’s Steakhouse Restaurant Opens in Fort Lauderdale | Eater Miami

"I encountered a new Florida-focused steakhouse from the team behind Fiola Miami that has opened in Fort Lauderdale in the former Canyon space. Chef Daniel Ganem emphasizes Florida-sourced ingredients across a menu with a modern steakhouse twist: starters include Swank Farms kale and hearts of palm salad, Florida burrata, Arrowhead Ranch wagyu tartare with Kaluga caviar, and Serenoa Bay Skipper Sweet oysters from the Panhandle with passion fruit mignonette; mains feature Joyce Farms half roasted chicken with black truffles and preserved lemon butter, braised Suwannee River wagyu beef short rib with potato fonduta and Gratitude Farms mushrooms; the steak selection highlights Arrowhead Ranch wagyu eye of rib and a 16-ounce grass-fed Florida New York strip served with house-made sauces, and seafood offerings include hog snapper from the Florida Keys, while desserts range from a classic key lime pie to a skillet-baked chocolate chip cookie.
