The 18 Best Restaurants In Palma De Mallorca

"Palma has an enviable fine-dining scene, and DINS Santi Taura, inside a luxurious hotel near the cathedral, is leading the way. The tasting menu brings classic Mallorcan recipes up to date in farm-to-table style, and pairs them with top-notch wines. Book the chef’s table slot if you want to sit at the bar and watch the team prepare each of the 11 courses. The menu changes depending on the time of year, but expect beautiful dishes with firmly Mallorcan roots served on handmade ceramic crockery: razorfish with fried eggs, prawns with sobrassada, and homemade olive oil and bread with Menorcan butter." - isabella noble

DINS Santi Taura

"Located amid the attractive surroundings of Palma’s cathedral, on the ground floor of the attractive El Llorenç Parc de la Mar boutique hotel. In the elegant, contemporary style dining room, chef Santi Taura demonstrates his passion for traditional Mallorcan cuisine, taking everyday recipes from the islands and bringing them up to date, using native ingredients and prioritising flavour over and above anything else. He presides over a single tasting menu called Origens (11 courses, although another three courses can also be added) which changes in line with the seasons and takes us on a journey across the island, so that we can discover its traditions and ingredients through his creativity. The chef also enjoys passing from one table to the next before the meal to chat with his guests." - Michelin Inspector

I definitely recommend it. A very interesting and delicious way to present the local cuisine. We had the chance to sit at the chef’s table and watch the exquisite dishes being prepared. The chef himself charmed us with his personality—an artistic nature with many talents. The plates in which the food was served were also handmade by him. The only thing I didn’t like was the narrow space between the table and the wall behind me, as the waiters often passed through and kept bumping my chair. I recommend this place.

Google
A really nice experience. The menu included eleven courses, mostly made with local ingredients and regional wines. All were tasty and thoughtfully prepared. I sat at the Chef's Table, where chef Santi Taura explained the story behind each dish and the origin of the ingredients. He greeted us with bay leaves towels from his garden. The visit was absolutely worth it, and the Michelin star is well deserved. The only thing I missed was having the course list available on the website in advance.

Google
Wonderful experience! We were welcomed and served by Augustina, very professional and welcoming. During the dinner, Mr. Santi Taura explained us, through all the dinner, every plates, from its story to its composition. A remarkable note for the postres, especially the gin dessert which seemed to be a candy.

Very refined and entertaining dining experience. A unique combination integrating authentic Mallorcan ingredients with an element of storytelling walking through the history of the island. Service was at a high level as expected, would recommend for a special dinner.

DINS is a fine dining restaurant that pops up in every possible channel. The menu consists of classical Mallorcan origins as well completely new takes on the traditions. The 11+ course tasting menu is rather heavy, featuring (sometimes very) rich sauces. We opted for extra snail and lobster courses that unfortunately were slightly underwhelming (lobster was so salty that it overpowered the delicate flesh), although the traditional cracker toast was superb. The traditional fish pie served as the second course probably was the superstar of the menu - delicate balance of tender fish and herbs in a thin pastry crust. The premium wine pairing was one of the highlights featuring a mix of local and Spanish continental wines.

Yelp
My fiancée and I went for the 11 course chef prepared meal. It was a fantastic experience, and extremely well priced. Chef Santi Taura was incredible and we could tell he cares extraordinarily about his craft. 11/10 would go again, cannot rave about this place enough!

Yelp
Okay I'm low key skeptical about this place because it was highly recommended on google but idk why Yelp had it on 3 starts but here we go Ambiance: this place is a typical high class restaurant. Dim lights, classical music, etc Food: I reserved my husband and I for a 11 coarse meal It starts with: -ceviche: amazing!! White tuna with a pop of flavor -rock fish empanadas! Geeez this is soo delicious I wish I had like 3 -sobrasada -Mallorca bread and butter -some foaming food with shrimp and cucumber (Delicious) -andelaquina -beef and onions -baby goat with prune sauce -lobster la bomba -escargot was amazing (an addition that we added) -lemon ginger sorbet -apricot dessert was fireeee Overall I loved the concept of the Mallorca cuisine... idk why they got a 3 star but this place was amazing!!! Our server Xavier was amazing!! Around of applause to the chef!! You were wonderful Service: I expected nothing less!! It was exceptional
