"We’ll say this off the bat: there are issues at Dirty French. Service is slow, you might have to wait 45 minutes for a table even with a reservation, and the food is very hit-or-miss. But we’ll also say this: there is no restaurant interior in Miami as ridiculously ‘80s as Dirty French. So if you are trying to wear leopard print, feather your bangs, and throw back martinis—you can do that here. Dirty French is a pure see-and-be-seen spot, and absolute ‘80s cosplay. Just know that dinner is all about aesthetics, and less about, well, dinner." - ryan pfeffer
"Dirty French is pure aesthetic chaos. The Brickell steakhouse is a blur of animal print and mirrored surfaces that transports its guests to...we're not exactly sure? It feels like a place that people who couldn't get into Studio 54 would go. Regardless, it did not make us feel very glamorous. Service is slow unless you're a VIP, food is average (and very expensive), and the only thing we really enjoy about dinner here are the great martinis." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"Though the service is unreliable and you might have to wait 45 minutes for your table even with a reservation, Dirty French can be a fun excuse to visit that obnoxious disco section of your closet and dive headfirst into a cliche for one night. There is no restaurant interior in Miami as ridiculously ‘80s as Dirty French. So if you are trying to wear leopard print, feather your bangs, and throw back martinis—you can do that here. Dinner is about aesthetics, and less about, well, dinner. Still, there are some good (but expensive) steaks on the menu. Save your money for those and skip the hit-or-miss (mostly miss) appetizers." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
"Wild animal print wallpaper, disco vibes, hefty steaks, and plenty of martinis define this hugely popular New York import. Dinner typically starts at the bar while waiting for a table—an ideal time for people-watching and soaking in the eclectic interior, a mix of safari meets Barbie’s house with a disco party twist. Steaks are the main attraction but don’t overlook surprises like mushroom millefeuille, côte de pork, and duck à l’orange. Be sure to sample one of the many martinis." - Alona Martinez
"Major Food Group’s opulent and purposely over-the-top steakhouse, Dirty French Steakhouse, might be a New York City import, but this location is distinctly Miami. From the orange velvet-lined walls, animal print seating, Murano glass leaf chandelier, and gold leaf ceiling, the space oozes 80s excess — while serving as a fun foil to the traditional buttoned-up steakhouse. Guests can expect to dine on French-influenced prime-aged steaks alongside mushroom millefeuille, lobster ravioli, crab cake croustillant, wedge salad, and caviar vichyssoise." - Eater Staff
