The Best Dishes Eater Las Vegas Ate This Month, June 2025 | Eater Vegas

"A takeout-and-delivery-only sushi operation led by chef Jae Doan that uses ingredients sourced directly from Japan to create impeccably presented nigiri and sashimi boxes. The standout Treasure Box is served like a jewelry case: sushi rice layered with tender bluefin toro, uni, and salmon, accented by translucent mini cucumber slices, bright ikura and masago, edible flowers, and flakes of gold leaf. The result is visually striking and balanced on the palate—subtly sweet, gently briny, buttery, and harmonious." - Janna Karel

Best Take-Out and Delivery Food in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Founded by chef Jae Doan — one of the first female sushi chefs on the Las Vegas Strip — Doanburi is a premium sushi experience built entirely for takeout. There’s no dine-in or storefront, just beautifully crafted boxes made to enjoy at home. With over 20 years of experience and ingredients sourced directly from Japan, Doanburi proves takeout sushi can be luxurious. The Treasure Box is a meal for two that features artfully arranged sashimi — bluefin toro, uni, ikura, and caviar — layered over seasoned sushi rice and adorned with edible flowers, cucumber slices, vibrant masago, and gold leaf." - Janna Karel

The Hit List: 12 New Las Vegas Restaurants To Try Right Now 2024

"It’s true that most of the hottest new restaurants in Vegas are sit-down spots that require serious deliberation on what to wear. So for the times when you just don’t feel like getting dressed up but still want to dine like royalty, this takeout-only sushi spot puts out high-quality fish that you can eat on the hood of your rental car. The chef and co-owner was one of the first women sushi chefs on the Strip, but she recently left Wynn’s Japanese restaurant Mizumi to debut this off-the-Strip outpost that makes you feel like you have your own personal sushi chef on call. The fish is sourced mostly from Japan, and your go-to order should be The Treasure Box: a colorful assortment of melt-in-your-mouth toro, Hokkaido uni, hamachi, and briny ikura on top of sushi rice. It costs $80 but can feed two people and will make going back to grocery store sushi extremely hard—especially if you order the freshly grated Japanese wasabi root." - emmy kasten

I’m visiting from Chicago, where finding a good sushi place is not hard to find, so I ordered from Doanburi with high hopes but low expectations. Wow!! This is up to par with some of the best sushi I’ve had in Chicago, but with better presentation and better price! I ordered the Bite Size Hidden Gem Box, a piece of fatty tuna, piece of yellowtail, and the garlic edamame. The salmon was my favorite fish and the homemade garlic sauce in the edamame is no joke! My only regret is not ordering extra wakamomo — what a special treat!

Google
We have added this to our delivery order rotation and honestly the quality is better than anything else we can get. The boxes are very aesthetic and convenient too. If you want top quality sushi delivered this is the best option in Vegas.

This is Michelin star rated. I never leave reviews but this exceptional!! We’ve been to many Michelin stars in Vegas but this is different! Wow the quality of her food and dessert is something else. We really enjoyed her expertise and can’t wait till she opens her restaurant in October!!

I recently ordered sushi from Doanburi for July 4th celebration, and it was a delightful experience. The presentation was stunning, with vibrant and fresh ingredients artfully arranged. The variety included tuna belly, buttery salmon, and other delicious cuts, all adorned with delicate garnishes and edible flowers. Each piece was fresh, flavorful, and expertly crafted. The attention to detail in both taste and aesthetics made this sushi feast truly memorable. Highly recommended for sushi lovers looking for a top-notch experience!

Google
I finally got to try Doanburi's sushi and let me tell you, this is one of the best sushi that you will ever get to have!! I got the Treasure Box which is a chirashi bowl, it contains assorted fish & ingredients that are mostly from Japan!! The jewelry box includes nigiri with different fish as well and 2 cut rolls. The crispy Salmon rice is one of my favorites I would say, the rice itself is crispy and soft on the inside. The salmon was so fresh and just melts in your mouth. Her sashimi also doesn't disappoint, the fluke with truffle oil was so good and the yellowtail jalapeño and smoked salmon were both amazing as well! Chef Jae's presentation to every treasure boxes, nigiris and sashimis are beautifully presented, it's almost like eating in a fine dining sushi restaurant on the strip. You may think that the price is a little high but you are definitely getting your moneys worth because it is that incredible! My husband and I shared everything, it got us so full that we almost couldn't finish it. Side note** the sushi rice is perfect btw! Perfect ratio of water and rice with rice vinegar :D I'll be coming back, thanks Chef Jae!!

I am sharing my experience after having ordered from Doanburi three times, but wishing I have ordered more often! The Owner: Doanburi is run by Chef Jae Doan. Each time I’ve picked up my order, the chef herself brought it to the counter and thanked me personally. Chef Jae is a former chef from Las Vegas’ finest Japanese restaurants including Mizumi and Morimoto. In a mostly male dominated business, Chef Jae’s culinary accomplishments stood out enough to become one of the first female sushi chefs on the strip. The Business: Doanburi is a cloud kitchen format, which is an efficient way for restaurants to offer their food in our busy world. You place your order for pick up or delivery from a third party. I am lucky enough to live 1 mile from Doanburi, so I always pick up the order myself. The Food: If I had to use one word it would be INCREDIBLE! Eating here will ruin your expectations of any other sushi restaurant. The quality of each individual ingredient is exceptional! The ginger appears hand-sliced. The wasabi root is REAL wasabi ground with a fine grater. Even the soy sauce is decidedly better than what you might pick up at the grocery store. To match the excellent quality of food, the presentation is remarkable. Black napkins, durable paper bags with handles, and banana leaves underneath the sushi roll. The portions are perfect. There is no extra rice wrapped up in the sushi like you find at lower quality restaurants. Just the perfect amount to compliment the fish and other ingredients. You can’t go wrong ordering anything here. But in particular you must try the Crispy Rice Spicy Salmon. The Sea Salt Caramel Flan is a wonderful desert to add on to your order as well. If you’ve made it this far, just go ahead and give Doanburi a try because it’s absolutely worth it. I’ve had many sushi experiences in Las Vegas, but this is the only one worth leaving a review for! Google
I ain't going to lie, I work in a Japanese fine dining restaurant and the chirashi bowl is like the last thing I have in mind. But Chef Jae's chirashi was mind blowing where now I have different(positive) view on chirashi bowl. First, before we start talking about the quality of the fish, we need to talk about "the Rice". You may have the best quality of the fish in the world but if you mess up the sushi rice, which requires perfect balance of the water and the vinegar, the off taste of rice could ruin everything but Chef Jae knows exactly what she is doing with preparing the sushi rice!! And according to the Chef Jae, all of her fish on this chirashi bowl was from quality vendor that no other restaurants use other than super high end restaurants in the town. (For example, one fish I hate is salmon but hell, even salmon was so fresh and lean, it was so good). At first, I thought the box was kind of small for guy like me(I'm a big guy with big appetite), but after finishing the chirashi box, I was actually very full. Definitely recommended! It's definitely a hidden jewel of Las Vegas.

Google
I found out about this place through Las Vegas Fill's instagram and have been so eager to try it after the foodie gave rave reviews about it. I finally caved and man oh man, I don't know why I waited as long as I did. I got the salmon box (Hidden gem) and the Treasure box, which was an assortment of 8 different fish. All I can say is.. my "Jeri Dreams of Sushi" (get it, Jiro) state has been fully awakened and my burning desire to re-book that trip to Japan that was cancelled by the stupid pandemic has been reignited. For now, Doanburi will suffice. Trust me, that sushi is as AMAZING as it looks.

Yelp
Excellent quality! Love the presentation pretty and thoughtful. The best sushi that you ever get to have! Great work and great service Thank you ^^

Yelp
Best Sushi takeout. The freshness, the attention to detail, the flavors are so perfect and have changed where I order Sushi. There is no other restaurant at this level of sophistication. We have ordered over 10 times and seriously everytime the food was at its peak for freshness and flavor. Thank You Doanburi, I'm completely ruined for other sushi restaurants. And I don't know how to go on without you now. So keep it up!!! Our standing order contains OToro, Yellowtail jalapeño, salmon crispy rice... You can't go wrong here.

Yelp
Excellent. Re-reviewing after many tries. Love the expanded menu items but still prefer the sushi boxes. Ingredient quality and technique are outstanding and it's a blessing to be able to have access to this,
google avatar

Yelp
The quality is SO tasty! The quantity was just a bit smaller than we anticipated but everything was delicious. This is not your "cheap" stuff yourself sushi, it is a meal we ate slowly and savored(which is generally difficult for my hubby haha). It had been on my sushi yelp list to try forever. If we are looking for a fancy date night in, we will definitely circle back to try more.

Karen L.

Yelp
Lovely presentation. Food and service was good. Pricey but good quality takeout sushi.

Yelp
We got the hidden gem salmon box, hidden gem tuna box and the wagyu gyoza. Each box had a beautiful presentation and nigiri was the freshest I had since Hawaii. The rolls used quality ingredients and no sauces or fillers which is the way I like it. The fish to rice ratio was perfect. The gyoza was perfectly cooked and super tender. Can't wait to order here agai

Yelp
Incredible quality sushi! Ordered from Doanburi during the holidays last year and every box was perfectly packed and the sushi was fresh not previously frozen. This place can compete with any of the high class sushi restaurants on the strip!

Yelp
Omg, this was soooooo good and so pretty too. The food was beautifully prepared that it's perfect as a gift. My bf treated me with a few boxes; we both enjoyed it very much. Everything was fresh and delicious. Such a great concept.

Yelp
Placed an order via website a week ago for a special event. Very pleased with the presentation! Beautiful flowers. Adore that chef Jae came to greet and personally deliver the food to us. It was really touching! Enjoyed the toro, seared salmon belly, wakamomo, and tamago :) Pictured: Salmon treasure box Platinum treasure box

Yelp
Man, what a pleasant surprise. I've been to Japan countless times, eaten some of the best sushi. I was frankly blown with the quality of the fish and the flavors. Not strictly traditional but amazingly fresh, and I would say a better evolution of sushi flavors. I prefer these flavors over the traditional way. We tried four different boxes today and were blown away. Not just in the freshness, but in the presentation was well. Well done and thank you for the amazing Sushi! To me, this is some of the best Sushi in town. Lots of fancy places that don't even come close.

Beatriz N.

Yelp
Misleading on the website the boxes were soooo small we felt we got scammed! Great quality sushi but not worth the $ specially when it's warm sushi too. Might as well go to a nice sushi restaurant instead or wait for them to open one.

B H.

Yelp
Absolutely delish! If I could I would eat this every single day for the rest of my life lol

Yelp
Man this place is worth the hype. I have a really hard time ordering take out sushi. I feel like it never shows up fresh or enjoyable. The only place I've ordered from and liked prior to trying doanburi is blue ribbon. Don't get me wrong, blue ribbon is solid for takeout sushi however, doanburi will be my new go to for sure. Food arrived hot and fresh with no mess whatsoever (mind you i live 20 min away). I really like the uniqueness of the spicy tuna crispy rice dish. It's essentially tuna nigiri with crispy rice instead of sushi rice. There's a delish dollop of spicy mayo and a pice of crispy garlic on top. My god was this good. The miso soup was probably hands down the best miso soup I've ever had. The ebi nigiri was top tier quality and incredibly tasty. This is by no means cheap sushi but honestly you get what you pay for. I've never been a fan of cheap sushi because the quality generally lacks and I leave feeling kinda sick if I'm being honest. All that being said, for the quality and presentation this sushi place really isn't that obnoxiously priced IMO. I'm going to order this again when my partner is back in town, he's gonna absolutely love it. I'll definitely try one of the treasure boxes next time along with one of the chefs special sashimi. Do yourselves a favor and order from this place. You will not be disappointed!!!
google avatar

Lilly P.

Yelp
Fresh and delicious! The pieces are on the smaller size but that's because you're getting quality fish. The packaging is beautiful and thoughtful. The location has a weird set up, but that has no bearing on the amazing food! Do yourself a favor and add a dessert to your order!
google avatar

Yelp
Location: This is a take-out or delivery only business. No dine in option. You can order on their website or delivery app. Service: Food is usually ready within 30 mins of ordering. Very quick. Food: High quality sushi and sashimi featuring daily special/seasonal fish. The sushi appetizers come with special sauce, similar to a Katzuya. You can select standard or premium fish rice box or sushi sets. The Treasure box has an excellent mix of high quality sushi (including caviar and Uni) on a bed or rice, easily plenty for two people. They also offer large format platters for larger group catering. Have not tried it yet. Tip: Given summer heat, we usually pick up in person rather than delivery, and keep the food in a cooler on ice pack for the trip home. Love the food, will be back.

Yelp
Always delicious. Fresh fish. Delivered in beautiful packaging. Love the treasure box and the Jewelry box.

Yelp
Their most known food item really represents their place well, and it's definitely a treasure box find! Tucked away on the west side, this place is located in a strip plaza in Summerlin. It's a bit hard to find, but once you see the red "Summerlin Takeout" sign, that is the building! The building also houses other food places that we will try another time. My husband had gotten this for my birthday dinner and ordered the Green Gem (Vegan;$29.95) & the Platinum Box (Tuna Box;$64.95). The owner was even so nice and went the extra mile to add a cute birthday note and two Sea-salt Caramel Creme Flans to our order at no extra cost for the celebration. The quality of the fish was very up to par as places we've had in Hawaii and the presentation was beyond spectacular. Even the Green Gem was delicious regardless of it being entirely vegetarian, including the vegan unagi. One of the surprising stars of the meal was the FLAN. It was so silky and the soften cream was to die for. The staff helping us as well as the owner were very sweet and helpful, all with the best attitude. Overall we would come back to try more things on the menu, and the owner should seriously consider getting their own restaurant! It is a bit on the pricer side overall (this is for those considering portion over quality; i.e. vs. a sushi buffet), but a good price for quality sushi vs. higher end sushi restaurants.
google avatar

Erika N.

Yelp
Y'all the reviews are not lying! This is the best take out/delivery sushi around and quite possibly also the best sushi in Las Vegas. I placed an order directly through their website and picked up in person. It was super quick & easy. All of the food was amazing! The cucumber salad had a subtle yuzu flavor with a perfect amount of crunch. I loved how thinly cut the slices were. The Negitoro Roll was simple yet so delicious. The winner for me was the Crispy Rice Spicy Salmon. The salmon melts in your mouth and the rice was perfectly crisp It was ridiculous is the best way possible. This is also the first time I've seen the option for salmon and not just tuna. 5/5 all around on everything I ordered. I will keep coming back again and again. I can't wait to try one of the boxes. I'm so lucky to have this ghost kitchen close to home.

Yelp
Alright to start off this review; I must tell you- it is a Vegas MUST. This chef needs her own restaurant ASAP! As I scroll along TikTok im stuck on food heaven since we just moved to Vegas. This popped up, and it wasn't even Keith Lee. I decided for my birthday dinner to support a local business- and that turned into a blessing. My husband HATES fish, and despises any sight, smell, or taste so it wasn't going to turn into his go to anytime soon. However here is the best thing he got 1. Wagyu Potstickers (ordered via website on Yelp- $19.99) if you order in person prices differ These potstickers came with sauce on the side and that truffle soy was the absolute kicker. The potsticker itself was melty, crispy, and overall a flavor blast! The truffle soy I used on everything + the potstickers, and it was to die for. 2. Crispy Rice with Salmon ($17.99) The plating was so simple, yet so classy. The taste- I wish I could explain. The fish was buttery and topped the a dollap of the perfect blend. The crispy rice was crunchy, but cooked to perfection that the rice and fish MELTED! This was by far one of the best experiences with crispy rice since the chewiness and glutinous of the rice didn't stick to my teeth at all! + try with the truffle soy from the potstickers 3. Treasure Box: ($24.99) I'm a huge salmon fan so I ordered this box with 3 salmon nigiri, 1 salmon belly, and a salmon avocado roll. I did add an extra salmon belly for $4.50. The salmon nigiri was butter. It melted perfectly and the flavors blended into the perfect bite. The salmon belly nigiri is seared. I'm generally not a fan of seared fish, but this one was delicately seared it added another dimension of flavor. The salmon avocado was basic, but so well executed. Finally we got dessert a Black Sesame Flan- since it was my birthday I was going to share, but my husband gobbled it up before I could get a bite. So...my husband really wanted the chef to come back out so we could praise her on our meal. We set another order for a Black Sesame Flan and a Matcha Flan. She personally hand delivers your food- and she surprised us with a Strawberry Cheesecake Flan! This came with a bag of crumble to add and it easily became my husbands favorite! *All flans were buttery, smooth, but not overly sweet. The carmel sauce almost had a coffee aftertaste, but the good kind- not like that burnt taste. Overall my review stands as 5/5. Nothing but high hopes for this chef and her dreams. I hope one day she can have a restaurant to call her own and I'll be her first customer.

Yelp
First review of 2023! Doanburi has the best sushi in Summerlin hands down and arguably the best takeout sushi in all of Las Vegas! It is located in the all new Summerlin Takeout ghost kitchen, and Summerlin really lacks good quality sushi so I'm hella pumped to have found this spot! Chef Jae is the creative artist behind Doanburi, and she has a lot of experience under her belt including working at Mizumi inside the Wynn and under Morimoto at the MGM! Most of the fish, if not all, is imported from Japan, so they use the highest quality fish which you can tell in every single bite. We tried the "Treasure Box" which is appropriately named, because it looks like you opened up a box of treasure. It's a beautifully presented chirashi with premium cuts of sashimi including Hokkaido uni, toro, king salmon, shima-aji, hotate, etc. and topped off with caviar and 24k gold flakes! Valentine's Day is coming up so surprise your significant other with this gift, and you'll get it in the bag ;) We also tried the sushi box which included 8 pieces of nigiri (toro, honmaguro, king salmon, shima aji, hotate, sweet shrimp, tai, and I'm not sure what the last piece was), homemade kastella, and a salmon-avo maki! Both were sooooooo gooood! I can't wait to come back and try some other items!

Yelp
Doanburi is a take out only restaurant which I think is a cool concept. The restaurant is located inside Summerlin Takeout. There is a kiosk that you could not only order sushi from but the other restaurants that is in the facility. If you order at the kiosk it could take up to 30 minutes, so I suggest to order ahead so your food is ready by the time you get there. There's not a lot of place to hang out so you wouldn't want to be there long anyways. Summerlintakeout.com is the website that you could order from or go to their actual website. The treasure box is basically a chirashi bowl. Its 80 dollars and personally I think it's a lot for just that. The rice was a little hard but it could of been like that because I wasn't able to eat it right away. The fish was fresh. If you are a hungry person, this is good for one person. But if you want to share, up to two people. The hidden gem box was honestly my favorite, I loved everything in it. But 50 dollars for the box is a little expensive. This was really made for one person. I love the concept of the restaurant. And how everything is in a cute box.

Yelp
Amazing Food!!! I've been a fan from the moment I first had her sushi! Im a loyal customer and I turned all my family into fans as well. We ordered platters from her on one of our family get together and everyone was happy and satisfied. I do order from her at least once a week to get my fix cause s very addicting. My go to is the Negitoro and crabby roll. Its a ghost kitchen but its worth the drive for me.

Yelp
Best sushi in town is takeout... ridiculous but true. It's been a while since we've used Doanburi and I have no idea why. Thanks for the great boxes we picked up on Valentine's Day.

Yelp
high quality fish, artful plating, lovely service from owner! we got: 1) treasure box - a good mix of various fishes, all very fresh especially the uni 2) platinum tuna box - this is AGED tuna so do not be put off by the color (we were at first and the chef kindly explained to us). it has much more umami and depth than regular tuna which is bland and flavorless 3) salmon & ikura don - small but high quality, hub doesn't normally like salmon but he scarfed this down! nicely cured ikura, not overly salty and notes of sweetness thank you Chef Jae!

Yelp
THE bougie takeaway sushi experience that will impress in flavor and presentation. Hawaii yeeps, think takeaway from Omakase by Bobae. Invited to a home game with a bunch of seven figure career winners and asked to do just one thing as the newcomer, bring food. Pizza and wings won't cut it. Search the Gram for ideas and ... Well made nigiri and chirashi presented like pieces of jewelry, prettied up with edible flowers, caviar, and gold leaf, presented in worthy boxes. Not no cheap takeout container. All seafood is imported from Japan. The chef, seasoned having honed her skills across the years at Strip properties. It shows in the knivework. Sauces and toppings all compliment the seafood. Opting for the "Treasure Box Chirashi". $80 (base price). A box of very seasoned sushi rice topped with a ton of fresh seafood offerings all cut up in bite sized pieces. The quality of the scallops, otoro, chutoro, king salmon, ikura, even small pieces of the well made egg to name a few, all apparent. Edible flowers add unique lemon notes while edamame and even slices of cucumbers unexpected but pleasing flavor and texture. Do opt to add caviar and uni ($35 supplement). trust. Lots of other options all available with easy online ordering and prompt pickup. The food, along with my stupid, incorrect king high hero call against a full house, impressed everyone.

Yelp
We picked up from here twice this week. That says it all! Doanburi is absolutely the best! We just love Chef Jae! The Precious Box , Wagyu Nigiri , Unagi Don, and the Miso soup are our favorites! The Sea salt caramel creme flan is delicately light and not too sweet. Best sushi rice too. Everything is consistently the best quality here. By the way, hubby has Honolulu's Sushi Sasabune standards. Thank you, Chef Jae!

Yelp
Probably the best sushi in Las Vegas. The owner is great and has wonderful customer service She is able to make gluten free options and the fish is such high quality. One of my favorites in Vegas

Sally L.

Yelp
I haven't found a sushi place that I love since moving to Las Vegas. I'm not a big fan of the all you can eat places bc the quality is just not that good. My husband found this place on Yelp and we decided to give it a shot. Ordering is easy on the web. The presentation is beautiful. The sushi is very delicious and fresh. The cake dessert thing is a MUST. so freakin good. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
This is an order to go place. We ordered The Precious Box - Premium Sashimi Plate. Once we got home and opened the box, we can't believe what we got ( 2nd picture) We found the picture (1st picture) that impressed us on yelp that is totally different. What we got are much smaller and thinner Sashimi while those in the first picture are two times bigger and thicker. What a ripple off!! Even thou the sashimi is very fresh like many of sushi restaurants in Vegas. However, That is too cheating. We will not return and certainly won't recommend this place. ** The owner of this business replied said smaller size and thinner pc is because of the weight and told me not to compare with Sushi. I would advise the owner not to fool people if you wanted to survive in this very competitive restaurant business.

Gisele T.

Yelp
I don't usually write reviews, but this place is amazing and a must visit for premium high end sushi. Service is great, the chef brought out the food herself. So friendly. Will be back to try more of the options.

Yelp
So yes it is out of the commissary but pickup is quick and easy. Go to the window and tell you have a Doanburi pickup. The fish was well prepared and presentation was super fancy. I'm a big eater and ordered some nigiri pieces too but the size was good for a chidashi bowl of this high quality (I included a photo for the ** haters). we've been looking for something like SUGARFISH delivery in LA here in LV for a year since my dad can't go out and Doanburi is going to be the spot. Chef exceeded expectations and will definitely be booking for our next company event. Thank you Chef!

Matt T.

Yelp
My Japanese wife has a hard time finding great sushi in Las Vegas. We both love Doanburi! Her favorite is the Jewelry Box! I love the Waygu Gyoza and the Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna! This is Nobu quality sushi, without the high price!

Yelp
Omg!!! Best chirashi I ever had I mean really the best I enjoyed with my eyes and mouth Jay makes everything so beautiful and their quality of fish are great! You MUST try this

Yelp
Good fish quality [but also not the very best] but extremely stingy portions. I don't mind paying more for good quality fish, but they are extremely skimpy with the portions. We spent $120 and it was basically like having just appetizers. We had to get a second dinner.

Yelp
I highly recommend this place. I've gone to many omakases and sushi restaurants here in Vegas(kame omakase, kaiseki sanga and shigatonin to name a few). THIS is quality fish. I say the prices are worth it. I'm recommending this to all my friends and family. The owner came out to meet me at the window and she was the sweetest. I'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I've had the pleasure of eating Doanburi at two events. This is truly the best sushi I've had in my life. This isn't the California style, cheap sushi. Although, I like that too. Doanburi is high end, custom cut, epicurean level sushi. I took a beauty of a bowl home from Japan Fest, in addition to a flan. They had caviar for sale, at a good price. As always the bowl was a stunning work of art. The flan was also Michelin star level. They have a take out on Rainbow, they can also be found at festivals around town. If you are looking for a date night box of custom sushi to go, Doanburi is the place to go.

Yelp
Ordered here on a recommendation from a friend and was really only expecting takeout sushi. But our (my husband and I) minds were blown. Elegant presentation and exceptional quality. This was the closest thing to Omakase in a box that you could possibly hope for. Looking forward to exploring the entire menu.

Yelp
I love Doanburi! 100% must try for any and every sushi/sashimi lover. Vegan options are also available! I placed an order for the Treasure Box and Chef Jae Doan definitely surpassed all expectations. It speaks volumes that all of the fish, seafood, and rice is fresh and imported from Japan. Chef Jae's mindfulness and desire to create such a lovely dining experience is already enough for these 5 stars. I shared the Treasure Box with my boyfriend and we were both full and satisfied at the end. The rice was cooked to perfection, the various premium fish tasted unbelievable, and the presentation was so beautifully thought out and colorful. I already have plans for future orders and I'm so ready to try all of Doanburi's wonderful creations!

Yelp
Delish! We ordered a treasure box of sushi and the gyoza for a quick picnic. They had drinks to grab. Beautiful presentation and provided all the sides in little containers. Will order again and again.

Yelp
Wow! Best take out sushi I have had in my life, hands down. The quality, the freshness of the fish - it is unmatched! Can't wait to order from here again.

Yelp
The best sushi in Summerlin! No doubt! I would definitely recommend this place if you are craving for some great quality japanese food. The chef, Jae is really passionate and it really shows through her food. She makes sure to get the best and top quality ingredients, and you can tell the difference when you taste her food.

Yelp
I first found this place from my friend's Instagram and I'm so glad I tried it! My dad loved it so much that we ordered more the next day! So far, I've tried the miso soup, seaweed salad, A5 wagyu nigiri, the house smoked salmon, the crispy salmon, and the jewelry box. Miso soup - 4.5/5. The miso soup had a subtle sweetness to it that was nice. Overall, it was a very standard miso soup to me. Seaweed salad - 4.5/5. The seaweed salad is nice! It's not as acidic as most sushi places. Each piece is cut really well and has a lovely crunch to it. A5 wagyu - 5/5. For such a small piece, it packs A LOT of flavor. The after taste is amazing and is definitely worth trying. House smoked salmon - 5/5. I've never had smoked salmon like this. The texture is soft and melt in your mouth. The skin adds even more flavor to it! It's not overwhelmingly smokey, which I appreciate. Crispy salmon - 5/5. There's something about the salmon here that is so good! The rice has a nice crunch on the outside and is soft on the inside. I love the different textures that this incorporates. Jewelry box - 10/5. Oh my goodness! This is a must try! There's a variety of fish included in this box and each piece has its own unique flavor. The tuna was so fresh that you could taste the ocean. The scallop was one of my favorites. I don't even know how to describe it. The salmon, again, had an amazing after taste and is probably the best salmon I've had at any sushi place. I also liked the tai. The seared skin had a great flavor and the fish itself had a great meaty texture. Last but not least, the Kasutera. It was very soft and fluffy. A great finisher. The box also came with baby Japanese peaches. They were very delicious and sweet! The sushi rice here is one of the best sushi rice's I've had. It has a great texture and flavor. It's not too vinegary nor is it too sweet. It's not mushy or hard either. It really helps to highlight the different flavors of the fish! This place is one of my new go-to's. It's so good that I don't mind driving 30 minutes just to get it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that likes sushi!

Yelp
Excellent quality, premium ingredients. Take-out only. Highly recommended. Even if you have to eat in your car, I think you should go for it!

Yelp
Excellent. I ordered the lobster. I was a little nervous since it hasn't been reviewed much. It was delicious, large pieces of lobster, light batter. Two perfect sauces with micro greens. We also ordered two rolls, salmon and tuna. Both great. The pickup is in a food hall, take out only. Cannot wait to order again and try the sashimi and seabass. Also can't wait for this to be a full restaurant, you can definitely tell this is run by a talented chef.

Yelp
Tried this place out of the blue. Not disappointed 1 bit. I ordered the treasure box, 1 piece yellow tail and was gifted a caramel flan to taste. I ordered when I arrived at the station and got my order under 15mns. Super fast. Very nicely done. The sashimi is out of the ballpark. Will be back. Friendly lady delivered my order to me while I was chatting with the desk person who wanted to know about a good book !

Yelp
Saw a few people post about this place on Instagram, so of course I had to try it for myself. I have no regrets--the level of quality and care put into these dishes is remarkable. Despite it being a pick-up only establishment, Chef Jae was very hospitable. She handed me my order and was so positive and excited to be sharing her work with a fresh face. We ordered miso soup, The Hidden Gem, and The Jewelry Box. I'm huge on presentation and Chef Jae really put thought into serving her sushi in cute little bamboo boxes. Trust me when I say, just try it for yourself. Everything is amazing. I'm pretty picky with sushi places because after having high-quality Omakase, I always seek that same quality in every new sushi place I try. The fish was so fresh and exceptional, it didn't even feel like I was eating it at home. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
Hands down the best sushi my fam and I have ever experienced. I'm shocked by the quality of take out sushi. My family ordered - Fresh wasabi - Crispy Rice Spicy Salmon - (1) Treasure Box - (2) Platinum Boxes - (2) Hidden Gem Boxes There was a longer wait with our order. The food was worth the wait! Chef Jae apologized, kept us updated, and provided complementary miso soups. Only got to picture the treasure box and platinum box since we immediately devoured the rest of the food! High key wish that she had her own sit down restaurant! Prices may deter customers, but trust me the price is more than fair with the quality of the fish. Plus Chef Jae is a master in her taste, art, execution, and customer service. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
