There is a new sandwich spot that caught my attention. It’s around the U Street area, and they will be open late nights. I decided to pull up to see what they’re hittin on!! . Where I am: @dragon_hero_dc . Location Reviewed: 2016 9th St., N.W. Washington D.C. . Items Reviewed: STAMP!! Their Jerk Chicken Sandwich ($16 marinated jerk chicken with a house made jerk paste, pita, & bbq sauce, & a cilantro mango slaw). Flavorful, fresh, & mildly spicy. STAMP!! Their Mario Sub ($ a lamb/ beef meatball mix with provolone, grana padano (a pungent cheese), meatballs, & marinara), a robust marinara, tender meatballs, & cheesy!! STAMP!! Their Chicken & Dumplings ($ with chicken stock, chicken, & flour dumplings). Hearty, with soft savory dumplings like ya Grandma use to make!! STAMP!! Their St. Clement French Dip ($16 roast beef with Gruyere cheese, horseradish sauce, red onions, & the onion both dip). That radish had this spicy, tender beef, & well salted, oniony dip!! STAMP!! Their Crispy Potatoes ($5 fried potato nuggets with a garlic aioli). I crushed these!! GET THESE!! DELICIOUS!! Their Siegfried Chicken Sandwich ($15 a fried chicken cutlet with an apple fennel slaw, & a sweet mustard). There were a lot of flavors going on here. It was just ok. . Parking: Rough. . Customer Service: On Point. . Recommendations: Get that meatball sub, & those potatoes!! . Accessibility: It’s moderately wheelchair friendly, & it’s differently abled persons friendly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=STAMP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕=LIKE THAT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️=DELICIOUS ⭐️⭐️⭐️=DECENT ⭐️⭐️=PASS ⭐️=NAH #Bigschlimsreviews

As a vegetarian, I am always on the hunt for a GREAT vegetarian sandwich. I have now tried ALL the vegetarian sandwiches at Dragon Hero and they are AMAZING!! The team at Dragon Hero was super friendly and welcomed me into the shop. When I mentioned I was vegetarian, they described the options for me, and helped me pick what I wanted based on my taste. I've since gone back and tried the other options, and all were fantastic. I cannot recommend enough!

Might be some of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had. My family was fighting over the last bites of the Meatball Sub and the French Dip. Unbelievably good food, and great people behind the counter. Will be going back often.

The sandwiches here are VERY good. My friend and I loved what we ordered (St Clement and Siegfried) and can’t wait to try the others. Highly recommend and will be back!

This is a new sandwich shop that opened up in my neighborhood and the jerk chicken sandwich that I ordered was so good. Always happy to support a local business with excellent food, and the folks that work there are so nice. Can't wait to return and try their other sandwiches

The best cubano I’ve ever had! The owner and cook were super friendly and helpful. We were on our way to Potbelly but saw this sandwich shop and are so glad we switched gears and went here instead. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!

I've gone here 2 Sunday's in a row now since it opened and I am OBSESSED. We needed a good local sandwich shop in Shaw, and this is the ONE!!! The King Arthur is superb. 10/10 recommend and awesome spot in the neighborhood.
