Hearty vegan plates, smoothies and juices turned out in small, no-frills space with a patio.
"This place serves the largest single person combo platters we’ve ever seen. Seriously, they’re huge. And now you can get them delivered if you’re within six miles of their Clapham branch by clicking here. Alternatively, stop by for contactless collection. Plus, keep an eye out for their Lewisham and Brixton branches opening again soon." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak
"Whether at their Brixton or Clapham branch, you know you’re going to get fed well at Eat of Eden. The Caribbean and Ital-influenced vegan restaurant has plenty of grain and vegetable-filled platters, perfect for mid-August." - jake missing
"At Eat of Eden, spirulina, hemp, seaweed, and moss drinks pay homage to foodstuffs that Rastas have been championing since time immemorial. The interweaving of ackee, callaloo, and plantain through the menu’s curries and wraps is the hallmark, but for first-timers who aren’t sure where to begin, jump straight into the beloved, awe-inspiring platters." - Yasmin Khan, James Hansen
"The Ital-influenced Caribbean spot in Brixton is entirely vegan and entirely delicious. The £17 Eden platter is a hefty portion for one, ideal for two, that fives you a choice of seven dishes that range from macaroni pie, to chickpea curry, to callaloo." - jake missing
"Eat of Eden has one of the largest patio areas at Brixton Village, makes purely vegan food, and serves one of the largest single person combo platters we’ve ever seen. Seriously, this thing is huge. It does come in at a hefty £16.95, but it’s really good. You can choose eight items from an extensive list, but you’d be making a mistake if you didn’t get the pumpkin and sweet potato curry, the fried dumplings, and the seaweed fritters. It’s not a light lunch, but you can always take what you don’t eat home for dinner (and lunch the next day probably). You can also go for single item meals (served with a grain and a side) or a wrap, though you’ll likely be taking those away for later because they’re enormous too." - Oliver Feldman
