Fresh, Thin, Perfect flour tortillas that don’t get soggy and drip. 10/10 Bfast burritos. Will go here every single time I pass through. Better than most Bfast burritos in LA.

Quick stop before going down to cal poly. To be honest, I feel I can’t fully write a review because I got confused. I have been learning Spanish for most my life but mixed up some of the Spanish words and ordered a burrito with the wrong meat. This is totally on me. I wanted to order chorizo but accidentally ordered something else. Feel like a chorizo burrito would have been amazing from this place. The tortillas are freshly made but I thought they tasted a bit funny. Like they were soft and mailable but it just tasted a bit different than other places. It was thicker. The burrito was small but good in flavor. Overall, alright burritos. My Beli gave it a pretty low score but also I think this is due to my ordering error. So I gave it four stars but actually it’s prob like two or three. Decent spot.

I really like El Charrito. The food is good, the Burritos are my favorite. Their home made tortillas have a really good texture and they taste so good. And the prices are great. I live in San Jose but I go to Salinas every other week through my job. Every time we go out there, we go there first. The place gets packed kind of early at times, Their service is very good. I highly recommend this place.

This place it’s known for their fresh tortillas and their delicious burritos. If you are in Salinas you must try them.

I love their food! Never had issues with them. Only once the manager took care of it! And just a couple of days ago I bought a couple of burritos for me and my son and I was eating the tortilla from one end and then I looked at the other end as I was picking at it low and behold it looked like someone bit into it or they took off a big piece of it! I called spoke to one of the girls there and she said she was going to refund me but it never happened! I h

Dang.... this place was 🔥. My coworker recommended this place, and it did not disappoint. I heard the line can get a bit crazy, but I got lucky. There was still a bit of a line, but it moved quickly. Once at the counter, there were plenty of options. I got 6 burritos. Chili Verdi, chicharon, bean and cheese, pastor, asada and a chili relleno burrito. Each comes with beans, rice, salsa, and the meat selection. All the burritos were good, but for me, the chili Verde and chicharon were the stars, followed by the asada. The tortillas were amazing. Soft and fresh. I heard you can buy them by the dozen, but they were sold out by the time I got there. Hopefully next time. I almost forgot, but the 50/50 Jamaica and Limon aguas was phenomenal. This place has me counting down until I can come again!

The food is incredible - full stop. I can rarely actually get it though, because with my work schedule I can rarely make it there before 6:00 (5:00 on Sundays :( I always end up wanting it Sunday when I get off early at 5, but nope). If you can get in during the day, it's definitely worth it.

Order ahead of time if you are in a hurry. Ordering inside may look like it is going to take a while if the line is snaked around the queue, but the staff are very efficient in keeping the line moving. We had the burritos and bowl. Food is tasty. If you are gluten-free, get the bowl because the tortillas for burritos and the bread for the tortas are made with flour. Aguas frescas are good. Was not on the menu but available if they have not run out, is the cucumber, spinach, and lime agua fresca-quite tasty.
