"A solid deal for NYE comes from this Harwood spot in the form of a three-course prix fixe menu. First is a choice of pomegranate and pear with ginger dressing, misua longevity soup, or aged tofu in tsuyu and dashi. Second brings jade pesto steamed white fish made with Lap Cheong fried rice, bok choy, and Chinese broccoli; apricot ginger glazed duck breast served with sweet potato puree; or, Asian pork roulade served with Chinese sausage and rice stuffing. And the third is pandan basque burnt cheesecake or Chinese Fa Gao fortune cake. The meal is $85 per person and those in the last seating will get a gratis midnight toast." - Courtney E. Smith

"Elephant East, the latest restaurant from Harwood Hospitality Group, is set to open later this fall at 2850 N. Harwood Street. It’ll join Magnolias Sous Le Pont, Happiest Hour, Mercat Bistro and a handful of other eateries in the quickly-growing walkable district. The menu will feature a selection of dishes and drinks inspired by the cuisines of the Asian continent, with everything from soju cocktails to Singapore noodles. Chef Thomas Griffin, who previously ran the kitchen at Asian restaurant Banyan Bar in Boston and who helped open Harwood’s Dolce Riviera in 2016, has developed a menu of playful dishes inspired by his own culinary heritage. Diners can expect dishes like pork baos, Singapore-style noodles with house-cured ham, sesame-fried mochi doughnuts, and other shareable bites. Drinks-wise, expect Asian twists on classic cocktails, including a matcha mojito and a classic tiki libation, the mai tai. According to a press release, Elephant East is meant to provide an “adventurous, and lively escape from the ordinary.” The restaurant will join British pub Harwood Arms in the district’s La Rue Perdue, or “forgotten street”, a European-inspired alleyway at the base of tower Harwood No. 10. An exact opening date for Elephant East has yet to be announced, but when it debuts, it’ll be open for dinner and drinks seven days a week." - Brittanie Shey

Excellent food with a great atmosphere! We started off with their take on a margarita which was fantastic and a great price at happy hour. We then got the shrimp bang bang shrimp which is a must get. We then lastly got the drunken noodles and a fried rice with beef. Everything was well made, service was friendly, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I would definitely come back here!

I recently visited Elephant East in Dallas to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was a truly fantastic experience. We started with the crispy chicken bao, bang bang shrimp, and fresh spring rolls. Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared, making it a delightful start to our evening. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, adding a warm touch to the night. The cocktails were equally impressive, and I was thrilled when the bartender created a bourbon mule for me off the menu, which turned out to be amazing. The restaurant has a lively vibe, with a DJ spinning some great beats that elevated the ambiance to a more party-like atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for a celebratory night out. Parking can be a bit tricky with limited street parking, but they offer valet service and there’s a parking garage at the back of the building with guest parking for up to 2 hours, which was very convenient. Overall, Elephant East provided an unforgettable evening with delicious food, great drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere. I highly recommend it for any special occasion or just a fun night out.

Google
Beautiful restaurant, cozy, food was good, server was nice, complimentary valet. The bartender was very kind (had to wait for a few minutes at the bar, you only get seated after your party is complete). Honestly, don't have much to say, decent restaurant...

Google
It was a great experience with amazing food. Offering three different categories of cuisine. Chinese, Japanese, and lastly, thai food. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Same for the waiters they were welcoming, kind, and funny.

Google
The ambience is 💯. The food was 10/10. The service was amazing, very attentive and quick. It is a smaller restaurant than I thought. They have a DJ, the restaurant is really dim. I will definitely be back.

Google
Excellent service. William our waiter was extremely pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. The hostesses did their best to accommodate our early arrival. Food was decent. Recommend the bang bang shrimp. There may or may not have been a RHOD sighting. The giant fortune cookie comes with brownies, Chinese donuts and an amazing coconut milk in a tea kettle. In case you want to cookie to go, please know, it will come back to your table in pieces.

Was excited to try this spot as I love Asian food and the menu offered various selections. We were seated immediately upon entering and our waiter was amazing! She was detailed about the menu and drink options which made for easy ordering. For drinks, I ordered the spring snow and it’s a lovely made drink. For the table we ordered the charred edamame and fresh springs rolls. We enjoyed these appetizers and it was a great start to the meal. **I also ordered a miso soup for myself and it came out very cold. No warm or hot temperature to it at all. I assumed it was due to the weather being hot that it was served that way but the waitress brought it to my attention that it was supposed to have been hot. She took it back and we continued on.** For entrees, we both ordered the drunken noodles and thoroughly enjoyed this dish! Nothing was left behind! We ended the night with a couple of selections from their desert menu and enjoyed the cheesecake spring the best! Overall, I enjoyed this spot outside of the cold miso soup (as I was looking forward to it). I would return and hopefully it’ll be a 5 star experience!

Google
Five stars all-around. We went to Elephant East for our date night and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. Valet parking, ambiance, flavorful food quality, amazing drinks, and fantastic service. Our server was super friendly and cleaned our table after each course. This was unexpected and very well done. We ordered drinks, apps, entrees and dessert. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! Will definitely be going back! Great atmosphere! A really cool vibe!

Yelp
Starting off with parking, they are limited spaces to park. We ended up parking to blocks down on the main street with street parking. We came at 5 PM right at opening so there were a lot of spots. As you walk in the big golden doors, youre greeted by a very nice Buddha statue at the front with a great dark ambience surrounding the entire restaurant. There are beautiful, flower lamps hanging from the sky, as well some fans over the main dining area. There is a classy bar to the right with ample bar seating. Theres a decent sized menu with plenty of options including vegetarian options. The food was prepared promptly and delivered to our table by our friendly waitress. Starting with the chicken, lettuce wraps, the chicken was extremely salty, but had a sweet sauce to go with that helped the balance. The lettuce wrap that was able to mask the flavor as best a small piece of lettuce would be able to. 2/10. The drunken noodles might have been the best entree. The noodles still had much room for improvement, and still is far from what a traditional drunken noodle dish taste like. It's a saltiness was still very present, but much better than the other dishes. 5/10. The chicken pad thai, extremely salty, had a gamey taste to it. It had a vague sprinkle of traditional flavor but was far from what you find at any traditional thai restaurant. The sweetness masked the saltiness but you still had to chase with water. 3/10. The papaya salad was surprisingly tasty. Unlike traditional papaya salad, white noodles was the majority of the dish with a little bit of papaya on top. Although it wasn't what I expected, the taste was good. 7/10. Viet coffee martini had good viet coffee flavor, but nothing stood out from any other espresso martini. Overall, this restaurant brought great ambiance but lacked in taste. Anyone who has never tasted Thai food might have a decent meal while questioning if Thai people seasoned their dishes with the whole of the ocean's sodium. Your blood pressure might skyrocket, but at least you had a pretty view. 4/10. Might bring a COVID survivor working on regaining their sense of taste.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated tucked away spot near uptown. This Asian hideaway is FABULOUS- I'm shocked by the reviews here- the quality and flavor complexity here is outstanding. I never thought I'd say this but the service was almost TOO FAST. We finished our food and tabbed out within 45 mins. Tab was 100$ for two people- two drinks, two entrees and an appetizer. Especially enjoyed the chicken bao and vegan garlic noodles!

Brooklyn R.

Yelp
The menu here has a lot of variety making it a good choice for a group- we all felt meh about our dishes, the Korean Beef Bulgogi was the winner. The Lychee Martini was excellent with a peach vodka twist. Our service was good, but quite slow, particularly with our hour wait for our four top reservation. The ambiance of the restaurant is very immersive, it is a tiny place with a small bar area, so definitely make a reservation for your visit.

Kristy S.

Yelp
Went with a group of ladies and sat outside on a lovely early evening. The space is lovely and well appointed. The service was on pointe. The food was just so-so for being so overpriced. As were the drinks. Allegedly, they have a decent happy hour.

Yelp
Great Ambiance, But the Food is Overpriced and is Lacking in Almost Every Way Ordered: (App) Bang Bang Shrimp - 3/5 - The breading was slightly soggy. Definitely not worth its value at $18 for this tiny bowl of shrimp (there were a lot of greens underneath). (Main) Char Siu Pork Belly - 2/5 - The pork was very tender but the char siu seasoning was overpowering. The bok choy was very sour, with far too much vinegar in it. More concerning, however was that the bottom parts of the bok choy stems all had a lot of dirt and looked like they weren't washed before cooking. (Dessert) Chinese Doughnuts - 5/5 - The donuts were the highlight of the meal. The sauces were all distinct and the doubts were nice and crispy. Big fan of them. The atmosphere and vibes of the restaurant are great. It is very warm, inviting, and similar to what you would find in Asia. The service was also excellent. Our server was friendly and quick to refill our water. Unfortunately, the biggest problem was the food. Asian cooking is known for humble ingredients and extraordinary flavors. Because of the humble ingredients, the pricing is generally lower than what you would find in European or American cuisine restaurants. This restaurant uses the same humble ingredients but upcharges them far beyond normal, even compared to other Asian restaurants in DFW. For example, $28 for 5 thin slices of pork belly (one of the cheapest cuts of pork), 1 bok choy, and a cup of rice is ridiculous. You can find far more meat at a far more reasonable price in dozens of restaurants across DFW. The food elsewhere would not only be cheaper, but of higher quality. The bigger issue is that the quality of the food does not match the quality of the restaurant. The price would be fine if the food actually was worth the price. All of the dishes except for the dessert were subpar at best, and downright inedible in the case of the bok choy due to the huge amounts of vinegar and dirt. Given the huge amount of high quality Asian restaurants within a 5 mile radius of Uptown, this is a definite skip.

Yelp
I wish this place wasn't so far away and that traffic wasn't such a nightmare because we would definitely frequent it more. My husband brought me here for a special occasion because he knows Asian is my favorite cuisine. The inside is absolutely gorgeous - perfect lighting for an intimate date night. Everyone we interacted with from the greeter to the bartender to our server was amazing and really worked to enhance our experience and make sure we had a wonderful time. On recommendation from our server we got the charred edamame and bang bang shrimp which were both great. We couldn't pass up the Drunken noodles and we decided on the Honey Chicken which we shared and really loved. I can't wait to go back and try the Pork Belly - that's an all-time favorite for me. I highly recommend this place, just be prepared for the traffic and parking situation, and make sure you get a reservation.

Dani A.

Yelp
Esthetically pleasing dishes, a pretty ambiance... but the food ratio & taste to price didn't hit the mark for me. This would be a fun treat yourself place/date night but I wish you'd get more bang for your buck. Overall, a nice experience. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed so it was a medium paced service time. Again, very pretty looking food for sure.

Yelp
This place is all about the vibes!! The ambiance and decor make this place a great place to hang out with friends or enjoy a romantic date night. Decor-dark wood, large Asian accents throughout and low light is what you'll see when you enter this place. They have a DJ in the evenings which give this place great energy. Service-decent, nothing to write about. Food-I liked the shrimp appetizer and the drunken noodles were my favorite. The shrimp was spicy and crunchy, great way to start our dinner. The drunken noodles were very flavorful in a large portion. The dessert was cool, but over priced and not all that great. I would love to go back and grab a drink with friends.

Raju M.

Yelp
We had an exceptional dining experience at this place on August 24, 2024. The standout dishes were the bang bang Shrimp, which was perfectly crispy with a delightful kick, and the vegetable fried rice, which was flavorful and well-seasoned. The meal was a true culinary delight, with each dish exceeding expectations.

Yelp
I recently dined at Elephant East in Dallas with friends, and it turned out to be a memorable experience. I'd rate it 4 stars. While our reservation got off to a rocky start with the hostess, our incredible waiter, Julian, quickly turned things around. We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday, and it was a night to remember. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were great. I started with a lychee martini, substituting vodka for tequila. The house-made lychee puree was outstanding, and I couldn't resist ordering more. My friends enjoyed the Spring Snow, Cat's Meow, and ranch water cocktails. Unfortunately, the espresso martinis with dessert didn't quite hit the mark for me. For appetizers, the bang bang shrimp and potstickers were mouthwatering. My entree, the Korean fried chicken, was flavorful and well-cooked, although I wished it had a bit more spice. The real star of the night, though, were the Thai green beans. They were crispy and bursting with flavor. I can't stop thinking about them; they were that good. Dessert was a delight, with Chinese donuts stealing the show. The presentation was aesthetically pleasing, and they came with three dipping sauces and mandarin oranges. My favorite combination was dipping the donuts in the miso caramel, similar to dulce de leche - simply divine! Overall, Elephant East impressed with its fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere, and I'm definitely planning to return. Don't miss those Thai green beans if you go!

Taylor H.

Yelp
Reverse HH WAS GOOD AND CHEAP! Great way to start the night. The drinks were strong, but the wine was good, especially for the price. It's a really good deal. The service was good. The hostess weren't super friendly. Great for a starter spot.

Gina H.

Yelp
This is located in a nice little area in Dallas and you can park in the structure just around the corner of the restaurant. Really great decor inside and outside they did kind of remind me of a smaller version of the place Tao. Food- Pricing is a little over the top compared to the portion sizes. We ordered two apps bang bang shrimp & potstickers. Both were really good but i've had better. For dinner we shared bulgogi plate that came with rice and the drunken noodle. I geared more to the bulgogi plate the flavor was great and even the jasmin rice was a perfect combination. The drunken noodles were good but not my favorite. Drinks- We ordered 2 mules and 1 lychee Martini. I loved the martini andy husband enjoyed his mules. Service- Good service from our server who guided me through the menu when I was in between what to choose. He was quick and the we were in and out with apps drinks and food in literally under an hour. I wish it didn't feel so fast paced so we could enjoy it a little more. It's also very small inside so keep in mind your going to have little room and two people will have one small square table kind of squeezed in close to the other guests there. Overall a 4

Anastasiya T.

Yelp
Won't stop leaving 5 star reviews, love this place! Tried Samurai Mule today and it was delicious, also tried drunken noodles which hit the spot as well, desserts are yummy! An absolute must try! Service was great as well as usual

Shan W.

Yelp
Amazing atmosphere , wonderful food and the service is immaculate. I can't wait to return and try a few other dishes.

Genevieve M.

Yelp
Fantastic ambiance- hip and cozy with comfortable seating and ambient lighting. Good cocktails and tasty food. Service was impressive- attentive and food and drinks were well timed. The miso glazed sea bass was cooked perfectly and the drunken noodles was a large portion.

Priya S.

Yelp
Elephant East is the most visually stunning restaurant in the area, hands down. The food and drinks don't hold their ground next to it unfortunately. The cocktails sound complex and flavorful in the menu but fall flat in execution. Food is surprisingly underwhelming, I'm not sure if they were going for a specific take on traditional dishes but the flavors and textures just didn't land. Honestly happy hour might be the only reason to go... average food for average prices.

Adrienne W.

Yelp
Made reservations for a date night during the week. It was on a Thursday and when we first got there it was decently packed. The first thing to notice is how unique the place is. Low lighting and Asian decor everywhere. It was really a vibe. We were seated at an oblong table that had a bench with pillows. It made me feel more comfortable and settled in. Our waiter was very nice and made great suggestions. We started out with the bang bang shrimp for our appetizer. It was really good. For dinner I ordered the popular Korean fried chicken with a side of fried rice. Everything was good and served in the right portion size. Once done I didn't feel overly stuffed. My husband ordered a beef entree that he didn't really like. He didn't think it had much flavor. I would go back not sure my husband would.

Kyle S.

Yelp
This was a great date night place. The ambiance was perfect and the decor reminds you of being I. Far East Asia. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. I could not have asked for a better night.

Ray M.

Yelp
Food is good, service is great, drinks are strong, ambiance is fantastic. The music fits the ambiance and there's beautiful people here as well

Armenda V.

Yelp
Service was great, food tasted different but amazing. I ordered the Pad Thai & it's sweeter than other pad Thai dishes that I've had but it was still good. Restaurant is dimly lit & decorated nicely. My friends & Inwent on a Wednesday night & it wasn't too busy. Staff were kind of enough to take some pictures of us towards the end of the night.

Kenzie B.

Yelp
Great ambiance. Pretty good cocktails... HORRIBLE food. And maybe one of the most concerning parts is when asked if we wanted a box for our barely touched entrees and we said no, our server didn't inquire as to why or if everything was ok. Enormous waste of money.

Cel S.

Yelp
They have a prix fixe menu for $48/pp that includes an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. They only refilled our water once. The food was also just okay. I think the desserts were really whatever and I found the sea bass to be really bland. The portions are also small, but the prix fixe is a good way to try multiple dishes on the menu. If I paid full price for each item, I think it wouldn't have been worth it. It was overall pretty mediocre. I don't think I would come back, and I think there's better, more affordable Asian food.

Christopher L.

Yelp
This place is glamorous and beautiful. The vibes are upbeat and great. Service was exceptional. Unfortunately, the food wasn't able to follow up. The Bang Bang Shrimp was probably the best thing we had there but even that wasn't anything special. Wasn't expecting to see such a casual dish on the menu at such a beautiful restaurant. The Dan Dan Noodles were a miss for me. Entirely tasteless from the pork, to the noodles. It just tasted like cooking oil slapped on noodles & pork. Came in despite the negative reviews and left disappointed. Such a stunning restaurant, what a shame for having such underwhelming food.

Melanie H.

Yelp
Outstanding service. Loved our cocktails (my favorite was the Cats Meow). Enjoyed all our appetizers: charred edamame, bang bang shrimp and ahi tuna over crispy rice. Favorite dish was Miso Sea Bass followed by the Tangerine Crispy Beef. Pad Thai was decent but nothing spectacular. End our dinner with a giant chocolate dipped fortune cookie...so fun. Great decor and ambience

Sayxonh F.

Yelp
Food was average, but our service at the bar helped give this place 3 stars. Drinks were tasty and served quickly. Would've given this place 4 stars if the ginormous fortune cookie was available. Seems like a preorder was needed in advance as the fortune cookies were sold out and outsourced from a local bakery (as I'm told by the bartender and wait staff).

Kobloh-Obase K.

Yelp
I love Asian cuisine and we had been looking for a nice sit-down restaurant that had a high-end feel to it and this is the place! The overall ambience was wonderful and the service was really sweet. I came here on a date and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cute spot with great food!

Jaden A.

Yelp
Went to Elephant East during their advertised happy hour from 5-7pm on Sunday. The food was delicious as well as our cocktails, but unfortunately we felt rushed after we stated we only wanted small plates and drinks. Quickly after that was stated, our waiter came by multiple times while we were still eating trying to get our plates & silverware, ask if we needed boxes to go, etc. It was uncomfortable! We also got our bill and were charged full prices, not at the happy hour rates, so that added to our frustrations. Lovely ambience, great food & drinks but the service is why I will not be returning. I've emailed Elephant East as well as Harwood Hospitality and hopefully will receive a prompt email soon.

'Liyah D.

Yelp
Food was excellent, the ambiance was perfect, put this place on your date night. Our waiter was patient and went over recommendations. I can't wait to come back

Lisa B.

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Food drinks and service was great!! My favorite was the shrimp and kimchi

LeShea B.

Yelp
Updated to add: I emailed the business as prompted in the below response from the business owner, and I haven't received a response. It's been 2 weeks. Original: I had to CashApp an employee to pay for my meal. Story time below. December 2022 Reservation for 2 via open table (but a solo date) Thursday evening 5:30 pm Happy hour time Parking: Valet is complimentary. Tips accepted (cash or Cashapp). You may also park alongside the street and walk a short distance ( this was not an available option during this time-very packed). Valet is on a one way street, and you have to pull in almost immediately. I missed it the first block around, so be watchful. Restaurant is a very short distance from valet. Go through the side nearest the neighboring restaurant. You'll see the carpet with the logo and big double doors. Ambiance/aesthetics: Extremely dark/ dim lighting. Very laid back setting. Music, not too loud. Instrumental. Very Instagram friendly, if you use flash. Grown and Sexy. Misc information: Restaurant is smaller than I imagined. Happy Hour 5-7 weekdays Happy Hour is only bar area (bar and surrounding tables) Mondays and Tuesdays the restaurant is closed Restaurant opens at 5 pm Staff: friendly and accommodating. A server who wasn't mine noticed I was alone and came to converse with me. I really enjoyed her. It was an "all hands on deck" dining experience. It wasn't busy, at all, so it may not be like this when they are. Food /drinks ordered : **Bang Bang Shrimp Skewer HH $3 -- it was pretty good for the price! 4 shrimp on a bed of a coleslaw like setup. 4/5, re-orderable. **Korean Fried Chicken $26- nice spice. The waitress suggested I get fried rice instead of the white rice, and that's a good suggestion. White rice wouldn't have been the flavor this dish needed. 3.5/5, though. I am more of a sweet/spicy sauce type of girl. Re-orderable, but if I were to return, I would try something else. You'll be hungry within a couple of hours, but the size is decent. **Margarita East HH $8- 3/5. Nothing to write home about. Bruised lime wedge threw off the presentation of the drink. Again? Nothing special. My issue..... my bill was $40 and some change. I gave them my DISCOVER card. Bar tender : "I'm sorry I forgot to mention Discover is the only card we don't accept" I had to dig through my purse to look for my Visa, which was at home. I let him know that, and he went for the manager. The manager came out and mentioned that out of the restaurants, they are the one who don't take Discover, and they are trying to get someone out there to fix it. I let him know the only way I could pay was to Cashapp an employee. That's the only option I had. I did not want to phone a friend. It was already embarrassing enough to have to dig through my purse for another form of payment and not have it. Anxiety level PEAKED. He came back and told me the bar tender was able to accommodate, and then stated now "Don't [you] feel taller?" to which I responded No, I did not. Couldn't even tip the valet like I wanted because I only had $3 because I don't carry cash. Ended up sending him more when I made it back home. Overall, I'm glad that the restaurant was able to accept the Cashapp, but I wouldn't have to return. USUALLY I have more than one form of payment, but I switch purses often. My recommendation is that the form of payment accepted is listed on the menu, or announced by the server.

Collin H.

Yelp
Okay, not sure why this place has some mixed reviews, maybe some people have too high of expectations... but let me set them straight. This place is an absolute vibe. The decorations, to the music, to the service. All are excellent. People are complaining about the price of the food, but they should think about what else they are paying for.... A great ambiance filled with young adults looking to enjoy a night out. I highly recommend this place, except their espresso martinis... it was the only thing that let me down.

Jansa K.

Yelp
Food was bad. Extremely loud music. Misleading dessert menus. Inadequate service. The service was off putting and we weren't allowed to be seated even though we had a reservation. We were told we were only allowed to be seated if our entire group was present. Dessert menu for the "cookies and milk" stated that it was matcha, almond, and sesame cookies with coconut milk tea, and we were served donuts and brownies??? The server claimed they had changed the menu, but didn't even let us know about this. The giant "fortune cookie" tasted stale and plastic like. The vegan garlic noodles were not impressive and not worth $18+, and hardly any tofu. Would not recommend this place. it's overhyped and over glamorized.

Mark H.

Yelp
Service is fantastic, food is really good and it's a chill, really cool vibe. like a scaled down Tao. Great spot for fun night out with friends.

Christian G.

Yelp
We enjoyed this "hole in the wall" setting with fantastic food. We sat in the bar and the bartender was great on informing us with specials and what she recommended.

Brandee F.

Yelp
My friends and I ate outside. Our server was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. He made good recommendations and saved us from Ordering things we may not have liked based on info we provided to him. Drinks and food were awesome! So flavorful! We'll be back.

Monika R.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing from the food to the ambience to the customer service. I would recommend in the Dallas area I would definitely be back.

Lydia J.

Yelp
This may be my new favorite place. It is decorated so beautifully and very cozy. The service was amazing-she went above and beyond. The food was excellent. Everything we got was delicious. We got the poo poo platter, honey chicken, and the drunken noodles so we tried a good variety. Oh and the drink I got (the mule) was one of the best cocktails ever. We will definitely be going back.

Caroline A.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour with a girlfriend and had a great time. The happy hour menu had a lot of options which I love and the drinks were really good. Nice ambience with great music. The host and the waiter were also great. We didn't have a reservation but we were able to be seated quickly.

Alex B.

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant with great staff! It was a lovely night out with a nice atmosphere, lively but still intimate. You are able to have a conversation with others while enjoying your meal but not feel overly secluded, great for a celebration. Both drinks ordered were delicious, charred edamame 10/10 and the vegan garlic noodles were good as well- definitely a little sweeter than expected. Only note on the experience was our table placement. We were placed right next to the kiosk so we had staff walked past us during the dinner repeatedly and could hear their conversations as well. When we inquired about moving to a different table they stated that was also a reserved table. Slightly frustrating that our reservation was placed in an inconvenient spot but I understand not being able to move at that point. Would love to come back and be placed in another area!

Yelp
This place transported me to smack dabb in the middle of Asia! What a coooollll place to visit ambiance wise! It has beautiful eastern decor, dark and moody, but lavish. The service we had was awesome our guys name was Dakota and he was so personable and fun. The food was a mix of Korean, Vietnamese, & Thai. We had the short ribs, shrip app, chicken pad thai, korean bulgogi, and pork fried rice. All pretty good. The dessert was cool too, they have a fried banana egg roll dish that comes in this elephant holder thing....super cool! Definitely a cool spot if you love ambience and decor, good food and a nice evening. Check it out!

Yelp
Food - I can only speak for the happy hour portion. The beef skewers are always so juicy and tender. The chicken hands down is the best. Majority of the times I opt out for chicken because I am use to it being dry. But not here. Drinks - amazing! The margarita, Honey Du and the Cate Meow (not on the happy hour menu) are perfect! I am a hard critic when it comes to happy hour drinks because most places will make their drinks with cheap margarita mix but not here. Highly recommend Last but not lest service! Fleet and Mia are amazing!!! They are my favorite bartenders. They could be busy and will still greet you with a smile and give you phenomenal service! I highly recommend.

Yelp
Small, cute vibe. Asian inspired. No sushi. We had the drunken noodle and Bulgogi both were very good. Valet parking.

Yelp
It's rare to find an upscale Asian restaurant with good food. I'm so happy this place opened up in Dallas! Ambience: So different, the carvings and the lighting make it so pretty! Service: Bruce was our server and he was great. I know you have to make a reservation ahead of time because it gets booked up fast and the restaurant is not huge so I didn't expect much from the service but I was happily surprised. The server kept checking on us and we got seated as soon as we got to the restaurant Food: Honestly, I loved every single thing we tried at the restaurant. We were hungry so we ordered so many things. My favorite was Korean fried chicken. My least favorite were the fried rice and bang bang shrimp as it was filled with a lot of mayonnaise. We also ordered drunken noodles, Bun chicken and all the cocktails on the menu. All of them were great! Justifies the price. Make a reservation and check out this place for a special night!

Yelp
I'm not sure why there are so many "bland" food reviews because it was great to me. We got ahi tuna crispy rice, tx wagyu carpaccio, black pepper filet, and Chinese donuts. We would come back and order the exact same thing again. It is pricey but that's normal in this location and the ambience. The service was great - our waiter was very knowledgeable.

Yelp
Went for dinner to celebrate a special birthday. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful- too bad I can't say the same for the food or ambiance. The music was so loud that it was uncomfortable to hear conversations with people next door. What's worse is that the music choice did not match the decor. Worse than the music was the food. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles which came out with spaghetti noodles. The dish lacked flavor and creativity and was a glorified spaghetti and meatballs but a complete dissapointment. The other dish ordered was the Drunken Noodles- another complete failure and a waste of ingredients . The only dish that was half way decent was the Honey Chicken. Save your money and order take-out. This restaurant is totally not worth the $$$.

Yelp
This place has been one of my favorite restaurants for over a year. The pad Thai is made fresh and it's fantastic. Papaya salad is incredible!!!
