Super great value. The omakase menu is a good price and the level of quality and care which goes into each bite is amazing. The restaurant is small, very peaceful with calming music making it easy to talk. We enjoyed sitting at the counter and watching the chef prepare some delicious bites! Will certainly be back

We just came here for Christmas and had an amazing omakase experience. Every piece of fish was incredibly fresh, and the sushi rice was perfectly seasoned and textured. chef Ben was very friendly and engaging, which made the experience feel personal and relaxed. Service was attentive and thoughtful from start to finish. Overall, a wonderful meal — we would definitely love to come back.

My top omakase experience this year and it's not even the most expensive! @sushiaozora led by Executive chef Ben Chen, who started making sushi at 16 and trained in a legacy sushi house in Hong Kong before cooking at O Ya, Sushi Ishikawa, Kiseki, and Sushi Seki. He blends Japanese precision with global inspiration, curating a 16-course (that's what it says on their website although if I can count, pretty sure we got 18!) omakase with seafood flown straight from Toyosu Market and seasonal ingredients from the Union Square Greenmarket. The hospitality, the ambience, and the attention to details makes this one of the most thoughtful, joyful, and memorable omakase experiences I've had in NYC. IG: joannekyc

Chef Ben is truly the best! The omakase was absolutely amazing every piece was fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in each bite. And to top it all off, he even makes a house-made yuzu cheesecake that is out of this world! The 15-piece omakase for $95 is such a great value you honestly can’t go wrong. The restaurant itself is very elegant, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. Highly recommend for any sushi lover! 🍣

Celebrated my dad’s birthday here and it was a wonderful experience! Chef Ben and the rest of the team were super professional and went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. The set was priced at $165 for 16 courses with each course thoughtfully curated and fresh. Will be back!!!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL space. A really cool vibe and atmosphere with an amazing menu. Chef Mura is going to absolutely CRUSH in this space with what he's bringing to the table. Can't wait to try their omakase when we come back to NY!

A calming atmosphere fine dining experience by chef Tasuku is one of the best dining experience. The omakase portion is on point, very generous, the presentation is as nice as expected and moreover the service was excellent. Feel like pampered with luxurious for 2 hours. Definitely coming back.

This place absolutely blew my mind. The atmosphere and the staff were so nice and welcoming, The fish were extremely fresh and tasty. They also use authentic wasabi, and their ginger was so good. I normally don't like ginger but I kept cleansing my pallet after each course. The mix of ingredients were amazing, each course was just absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Fifteenth East!
