The 15 Best Filipino Restaurants In SF - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"At this iconic Daly City turo-turo spot, you can order with confidence, knowing anything beyond the sneeze guard will be good. Prioritize any of the perfectly charred skewers that pair beautifully with garlicky rice, and don’t skip the kare-kare, that’s rich and made even better with a scoop of bagoong. It’s cash-only, and there’s no seating—so plan to take your feast to go." - gabi moskowitz, julia chen 1, patrick wong

The 17 Best Restaurants In Daly City - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"At this beloved Daly City turo-turo ("point-point") joint, ordering is as simple as pointing to the steaming trays of Filipino favorites behind the counter. You’re here for the lechon kawali, which is perfectly crispy and comes with a side of garlicky rice, and the rich, peanutty kare-kare that’s even better when you add a scoop of bagoong. The portions are huge, and once you taste the food, you’ll understand why this cash-only place has been a local institution for decades. There’s nowhere to sit, so plan on taking your order to go." - gabi moskowitz, patrick wong

The 8 Best Filipino Restaurants in Daly City, South San Francisco, and Colma | Eater SF

"At first glance, the menu might lead customers to think, “That’s it? All they serve is skewers.” But then you take that first bite, and you realize that’s all they need to serve. The cooks mean business here, constantly churning out piles of beautifully charred, juicy, soy-sauce-marinated pork and dark-meat chicken over a flaming grill. The smoky scent hits you before you even walk in." - Elaine Wu

Best Restaurants Between San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport (SFO) | Eater SF

"Hit up this classic Filipino outpost to load up on grilled meat skewers, all served up hot, juicy, and beautifully flame-kissed. The prices are low, and the portion sizes are not to be trifled with. A couple of pork or chicken skewers over pancit or white rice make for a serious meal. Bring cash, and come prepared to wait a while in line." - Luke Tsai

Google
An amazing hidden gem in Daly City. The prices are cheap for amazing quality of the food. We ordered a chicken and a pork skewer and lumpia. The lumpia was small and ok and the vinaigrette was a bit weak. But the chicken and pork skewers were just outstanding with great flavors AND tender!!! Each skewer was under $4 and big. There’s definitely a wait but the line does move fast. We waited about 20 minutes as everything is cooked to order. They have a system though the counter lady was a bit confused but it was worth the wait!! We’ll be back!! This is take out only with no tables and cash only!!!

Google
We drove to Daly City for this from San Jose…. Hole in a wall place… Wow their BBQ meat is so tender, juicy with a great char flavor. Will be back soon for the bbq chicken.

Google
Had to come back twice just to try the bbq since they ran out, it was worth it though. Really reminds me of home when I grew up as a kid in the philippines. Meat was so juicy, tender, and flavorful. 5/5 for everything. The pictures dont do justice about the flavor of these bbq.

Google
The food here is so good and greatly priced. Love the BBQ chicken/pork, stewed beef dish, and chicken adobo. They pancit and rice are super tasty too. Also the fried rolls

Google
Bro!!!! Hands down, bbq Hella good! I travel over the bridge to come here for the BBQ pork. It's 3.75 a skewer, but well worth it. I bought 7 the last time I came. Haha

Google
MUST TRY!!! Despite long lines, I don’t mind waiting just to get a taste of their ube halaya (purple yam jam). They don’t always sell it on a daily basis, so make sure to grab some when you see it! 💜😋

Google
2025 update. Huge Fil-Am Cuisine fan here. BBQ skewers are $3.75. Chicken or pork. The ten piece shanghai lumpia is $4.10. There was a short 15 minute wait at 4:30pm on a Saturday. During peak hours, wait times can be around an hour. Early in the morning, they are busy with the party trays. My family and I love their skewers. They are so flavorful. Sometimes when I'm across the street at Jack in the Box, I can smell the BBQ and if the line is not long, I'll grab a few skewers. That was the case today. Original review: The secret to their BBQ skewers is the marinade. It has a mild sweet taste. The meat is tender, really juicy, a proper amount of smokiness and a bit of burnt ends. Every time I bite into it, my head goes "oh damn!" Although their cooked food a la carte selection is good, this is what I usually get: chicken skewer $3.15, fried egg $1, sausage $2, a small order of pancit $5 and 10 lumpia $3.25. Eating at Fil-Am always puts me in a good mood the rest of the day. I love the people that work here. Great job my peeps at Fil-Am. Daly City is a much better dining destination because of this restaurant.

Google
Fil Am how's been my go-to for Filipino food for over 10 years now The food does not disappoint from the barbecue chicken skewers, to pork adobo, chicken adobo, longanisa, tocino, lumpia, garlic fried rice, pancit, turon. you name it they got it line is sometimes long but moves quickly and is well worth it. You can get over a pound of food for under $10 depending on what you get. I will always come back here I'm craving home cooked Filipino food. By the way they also do catering orders I've gotten trays catered for parties before and everyone enjoys the food just make sure you call a day or two in advance for big orders they are also cash only no cards venmo is accepted though.

Yelp
Cash Only establishment and have been here a handful of times now. They are take out only and while the inside looks run down, don't let that deter you from ordering a few skewers. The BBQ on a stick are thick and flavorful but there seems to be more fattier pieces. I would recommend the pork than the chicken. If there not too busy and you'll eat the skewers right away, ask them to dip in the sauce and warm it up on the grill for you. The Tita up front working the register is always friendly but the rest of the staff not so much. There's a younger woman with glasses who seems to always be annoyed when you put in your order and her eye rolls so far back, she looks like she's having a seizure! Relax girl its not that serious.

Yelp
Been here multiple times and the food is spot on. Authentic Filipino cuisine made by locals for the locals. The store is takeout only. You can either get the 1-2 item combos with rice or pancit or order a la carte per side dish which is charged by size of the container. I always see multiple large catering trays on the side for pick up. My company has ordered catering multiple times too. Not being Filipino, I'm unfamiliar with the side dishes so I just point and try something new each time. On my last visit, I didn't have enough cash and the cashier/owner was basically like it's ok, just come back next time. I'm a fan for life now!

Yelp
The food was good - the chicken skewers are a really good bargain and the pancit is really tasty. The staff is really nice and friendly - the only thing is the wait and the fact that the food sells out really fast. Get there early for the pork skewers. The place is cash only, no sitting room, take out only.

Yelp
Incredible meal. Truly the best filipino food. my second time at Fil - Am and i finally got to try the pork bbq skewer. Came in around 11 ish and there was only a small line. previously when i came later, they had run out of lots of dishes including the bbq skewers. They had plenty to choose from and i ordered a skewer, tocino, garlic rice and lumpia. a whole meal the skewer changed my life. the savory sweet pork and the sauce drippings combined w the garlic rice is such a homey and comforting meal. the tocino was sweet and fatty and the lumpia is a staple of course. cash only so bring cash and come early to shorten the line. Love it so much 5/5 meal

Yelp
Amazing hidden gem. I've been coming here for years when I lived in the bay and recently stopped by after a flight into sfo. They have the best bbq chicken sticks and some great Filipino options! It's cash only so be prepared! It's also fairly small in there so only a few guests at a time. The staff is super welcoming and kind too. Love going here!

Yelp
Went for Breakfast Food - 5/5. Pork was tender with good amount of char to give it a hint of that smoky flavor. Sauce was sweet and tangy, which helped balance out the richness of the pork. Garlic rice had good aroma, nice amount of pepper, and just the right amount of oil to add a firm bite. While everything was delicious, it was rather lukewarm; which was fine, but it would've been even better if it was hot. Service - 4/5. Quick and friendly service. Value - 5/5. Two BBQ sticks with rice was a reasonable $10. They offer white or garlic rice for the same price. Portions are huge, being very generous for the price. Fantastic takeout spot for Filipino food! Cash only. Parking - Street (Metered)

Yelp
TLDR: skewers + rice were delicious but the dessert was moldy. I was really conflicted to post this, but I was really disappointed when the dessert I bought (I believe it was called Biko) was moldy. It seems like they serve day+ old items which definitely doesn't cut when it's a moist item sitting out all day. However, the skewers (tried both chicken and pork) were juicy, flavorful and delicious. The marinade had the right balance between sweet and savory. While the chicken was a bit dryer than the pork, I still enjoyed eating both and thought that it was definitely a bang for your buck at ~$10.

Yelp
I am not a local but Fil-Am is totally worth a detour from Sunnyvale on my way home from the City. Depending on our hungry my eyes are, I typically get the a la carte items - bbq skewers, adobo, ribs (seems this is their popular items as I see party trays full of ribs set on the side for pick-up). I don't believe the cooks ever have a bad day & mess up the recipe because the food is consistently good every time I am there. There is often a line, the question is how long the lines are and how hungry are you.....

Yelp
This is a neighborhood Filipino place that's family owned and operated. It has been here ever since I could remember. A few things have changed after Covid. The place no longer has tables to dine in. You must take out only but the food is good still and it's a lot cheaper and better than eating at any fast food. Soon as I walked in the restaurant, I was greeted and asked what I wanted to order. I quickly placed my order and I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
My family and I love coming to Fil - Am Cuisine! It is one of the BEST chicken skewers I've ever had! The chicken is incredibly moist, tender, and so flavorful. This spot has become a must-visit for me every time I'm in San Francisco. The consistency and quality of their food always impress me, and I look forward to enjoying it every chance I get. The restaurant is very small, so they don't offer indoor or outdoor seating. Depending on the time of day, there can be a bit of a wait but it's absolutely worth it. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing chicken skewers. They have some street metered parking spaces available.

Danielle F.

Yelp
This is two stars for their catering only. Who knew that you had to ask for the food to be hot when you picked up a catering order? I just picked up 40 chicken skewers and 40 vegetable lumpia. The lumpia was very lukewarm and the chicken skewers were cold. No heat at all coming from the tray. Now I have to to go to party and ask to put in the oven to warm up. Just a caution for those expecting ready to serve hot food. I would've given them a one, but the food is good from this place.

Yelp
Note: you will need to find street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. Note: they take only cash!!!! This location is very packed with a line snaking around the restaurant. The set up is similar to "chipotle" ordering / "cafeteria" ordering. The workers were kind while taking my order. We had the pork BBQ special (2pc) and rice. My girlfriend had the same as me but with half rice and pancit which you can request. We also got the lumpia special (10pc) for the price, you get a lot of food!!! Sadly, they were still cooking the chicken BBQ while we were there, so I will be coming back to try it!

Yelp
* date visited: 11.06.2024 * ordered: one item chicken skewer, lumpia, and turon cash only, no frills service. although the shop is small, the ladies that run this establishment are organized and efficient and the line moves quite quickly. such a hidden gem and value meal -- two skewers and rice is $10, which is insane in sf. the skewers were sweet and salty with a beautiful char, and grilled perfectly. they're also huge, they are very generous with their portions. the chicken afritada was also very very very good. the lumpia was $3 for 10 which is a steal -- they were crispy and the filling wasn't too salty which i liked. similarly, the turon was delicious, the jackfruit had great texture and also wasn't too syrup-y sweet. will 10000% be back again.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're craving legit Filipino comfort food, Fil-Am hits the spot. I grabbed the BBQ chicken skewer plate -- sweet, smoky, tender, and loaded with flavor. The rice soaked up the sauce perfectly, and as you can see it was so good I forgot to take a picture of what it looked like before I devoured it lol Had to snag some lumpia too -- golden, crispy, and totally addictive. The steam trays were packed with Filipino classics like adobo and kaldereta, all smelling amazing. It's fast, affordable, and straight-up tasty. Perfect for a quick grab-and-go when you're in the mood for something homemade. Pro tip: Double up on the skewers. Trust me.

Yelp
NOTE--THEY ARE CASH ONLY A neighborhood staple. The small hole-in-the-wall restaurants that only take cash truly serve the best food. I've been coming here since I was a little girl; you walk in, and tell the people working behind the corner what you want. The food is on display for you and you follow down the line, chipotle style. There's always a line, and I will happily wait. I always get their rice with two barbecue chicken skewers and extra sauce. I also love their lumpia too. The chicken is so flavorful and something about that subtly sweet barbecue sauce compliments the meat very well. They offer party platters, which my family and I have often purchased for different events, and they're a hit every time. If someone has never been to the bay before, you have to take them here!

Yelp
The entire time I was driving around looking for parking I was thinking to myself "this better be worth it". There was a line outside but it went pretty fast, not fast enough because it was a little chilly out that day. The pork was delicious but they ran out of chicken when I got there so I was not able to try it. The Pancit was yummy, but I wish I had more time to pivot when I found out they ran out of chicken. I would like to return and try the other dishes BB

Yelp
this is one of those 'hole in the wall' restaurants in the Bay Area: on the outside, it may not be impressive on out the outside, but the food quality is indeed excellent. on yelp, it amazingly stands at above 4 stars, and its all about the filipino taste first of all, parking is difficult: there is no parking since there are small streets and its packed. i would recommend parking next door, at a mechanic's parking lot. it is ONLY CASH here, and only takeout i went with their rice plate, with 2 piece: chicken kebab, and what seemed to be oxtails: i just asked for the popular, and they served it. my food was hot and smelled amazing. white rice was nice and hot, the chicken kebab was juicy, thick and well seasoned. the oxtails were delicious, and full of flavor: im chocked you get this quality, this quantity and these delicious proteins as a great price. service was good, you order first on your right, then you pay as you make yourself down the line. don't forget for drink: i got a Sunkist babbyy ONLY CASH ONLY TAKEOUT

Yelp
To the question, " what does memory tastes like?" There is endless answers , as each person has different childhood memories, and different things could bring her back. For me this is what memory tastes like. This place hasn't changed for years. You can smell a mile away the delicious barbecue aroma, it is cash only so make sure you come prepared (or if you're me, just go to the ATM 2 shops down) the take away order was 20$, with this economy I really don't know how they make a profit. I encourage everyone who hasn't tried this restaurant to go!
google avatar

Todd N.

Yelp
OH MAN OH GOODNESS OH YES. Nearly speechless, it's so delicious - go get it now. It's a family business and they're quick, kind, and pile up the grub here. The place is small and meant for takeout. Line goes out the door sometimes but they work fast. Check it out and bring cash or prepare to pay w Zelle! You're in, out, and so excited to get to a place to chow. I ate this plate in my car because I could not wait. I'll be back soooon
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Normally love this place, but now their sauce is pink and tastes funky. Might have to re-think this going forward. Plus it's 2025...why can't you upgrade the order process already? And the lumpia...pretty much fried dough and nothing else. Think I'm done with this pace.
google avatar

N C.

Yelp
Ordered: bbq chicken - delicious, lumpia - hard and barely any filling, kaldereta - tasty but greasy, ground pork dish (no idea what it's called) - flavorful but REALLY greasy
google avatar

Becky V.

Yelp
Party trays for sure are hits for your celebrations. I'm always celebrating something. So there are many occasions when you'll see friends bring the lumpias or bbq meat skewers. Who doesn't love lumpias?! Right?! Must walk in to place your catering orders, don't even call because I've learned the hard way it wont work. Phone calls don't get picked up. If it does then you got lucky. Real lucky Hard to find parking so bring a good friend for the ride
google avatar

Jeymmie P.

Yelp
My go-to place for authentic Filipino food. It is reasonably priced for a decent portion. Also a great place to order food for catering. A few notes... Line is always long. Parking is terrible. And they are cash only.
google avatar

Nelson Z.

Yelp
This spot is our go-to for lumpia's! We order regularly for family/friends gatherings. 100 lumpia's for ~$39. There's also a location in South City on Grand but come here because the lumpia's are more crispy! It's recommended to pre-order or else you'll be waiting for a while. They always have a line out the door since they also sell a bunch of other items like skewers, pancit, etc that smell really good. For phone orders, there is no need to get in line. Just walk in and go to the register. It's also cash only so be prepared! Since they're so busy it can be difficult to get through the phone but just keep trying. I think you can also place an order by email. Just go on their website to get the info on how to place the order and they are actually responsive. The employees are always really nice! parking is really tough around this area so have someone with you so they can wait double parked or something around the corner. Recommend this place for potlucks or gatherings when you don't have time to make a dish.
google avatar

Hanna T.

Yelp
Warning: CASH ONLY $10-$12 for a plate of food is unheard of in this economy. This is a Filipino take out place. Their chicken skewers are AMAZING. You get a huge chicken skewer, the flavor, the char, the smokiness is all there. Will definitely be going back.
google avatar

Ivan C.

Yelp
Been going here a couple times now, great place for the best Filipino style bbq. 2 bbq sticks and rice for $12.99 is worth the price. Food is always fresh they will grill it in front of you. Perfect marinade of the sauce and tender and juicy. I haven't tried any of their other dishes but def will next time I go. Service is great fast and efficient. Workers are really nice. The store is a hidden gem. Parking can be tough sometimes. But it's worth the wait for their food and service. Small place. There is no indoor/outdoor seatings
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
Great BBQ. Everything else is good. Don't rely on phone & pick up service tho. Called 19X to try and order take out but they never picked up once. Be prepared to wait in line.
google avatar

Jasmin C.

Yelp
CASH ONLY CASH ONLY CASH ONLY Great little gem for Filipino food! Incredibly popular as there is a very long line out the door; I had to wait almost 30 minutes even for pre-paid order pick up. Chicken and pork skewers are MASSIVE and absolutely delicious. It was a pretty chaotic when I went to pick up my food; they were handling multiple customers at once and the phone was ringing off the hook. Street parking only nearby. Would definitely come back to try other things on their menu.
google avatar

M D.

Yelp
Extremely dissatisfied with my catering order. We ordered 50 pieces bbq pork and chicken, spent $300, and the meat was still raw.. My guests could not eat it, we had to grill the meat again to ensure that no one would get food poisoning. We tried to call several times, and no one picked up the phone.

Yelp
I just spent $17 on a delicious meal that could have easily fed two people. That's a hard find in the Bay Area and deserves major love/attention. I ordered Shanghai lumpia, garlic rice with BBQ chicken and pork skewers, and one turon to-go. The drive home to South Bay was torturous, as the delicious aroma of garlic and fire-grilled meat filled my car and had me drooling. The turon didn't make it home. Desert for an appetizer; the perks of being an adult. ;) When I opened the entree container, I realized there was A LOT of food. I enjoyed it for lunch and dinner. The rice was very fragrant and delicious. The BBQ pork used belly parts and had a lovely chunk of fat. Yummy. The chicken was very tender and tasty. There is nothing that could have made this meal better 5/5. The lumpia was delicious, as well. It was still crispy when I got home. It was so good it didn't even need the included sauce. 4/5 The people working there were very friendly. I'm sure they would have explained some of the other available dishes (there were no labels), but I didn't want to hold up the line. Well, I'm going to be on a diet for the next few days, but I will definitely be back and encourage you all to go to visit this gem.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
Gosh I want to keep this place a secret because it's that good. Their chicken skewers and pancit are so flavorful and always consistent. They're quick, tasty and affordable. What else could you ask for??? This is my go to for take out food when I don't want to cook or spend a lot at a sit in restaurant ngl
google avatar

Nirsh A.

Yelp
A friend took me here the other day to try some authentic Filipino food and I was not disappointed. I opted for the pancit with the chicken skewer and also got to try the lumpia. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Also, the price point is great. The whole box was $10 and it's so much food. It will last you a few days.
google avatar

Sandra ..

Yelp
Hands down, the best Filipino BBQ skewers in the Bay Area! Perfectly grilled with that authentic, sweet-savory flavor and just the right amount of char--each bite took me straight back to the Philippines. The meat is always tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Whether you're craving pork, chicken, or a mix, these skewers never disappoint. The portions are generous, and the quality is top-notch. If you're a fan of Filipino BBQ, this spot is an absolute must-try. Pure comfort food, done right! Love me some Fil-Am!
google avatar

Adithya B.

Yelp
Parking is terrible but possible, side streets. It is cash only but there is a liquor store adjacent to the store with an atm. The service is really terrible. I don't know much about Filipino food so I asked questions but they seemed impatient and talking to each other in Tagalog in front of me. The shop is also really small and there is no where to sit if you expect to dine in, so it's more of a togo shop. Now, the food is amazing and the price for it all is spectacular! The value is what redeems this place for everything that wasn't up to standards.
google avatar

Philip W.

Yelp
This place is located in Daly City, and it can get really busy. I ordered ahead for some lumpia at around 4 p.m. and told them I would be by around 4:30 p.m. The person who took my order was friendly and said to me, "Just come in if we have a line since you ordered ahead. " When I went there, the line was about 10 people waiting. I walked in, waited a little, and got my order. The ambiance is more like a to-go place, so there is no place to sit just to go.
google avatar

Amia G.

Yelp
I have ordered here a couple of times for a family party and love the food here, it is a process and always busy so make sure you order for pick up because it gets packed! They are very nice in there.

Yelp
Best in all the Bay Area! So happy I'm down the street from this magical place. I love the price, I love the options, super friendly people too.

Yelp
Daly City is the best area known for authentic fillipino food in the Bay Area. Authentic, fast, no frill place, and affordable. This is an unassuming hole in the wall place that a lot of locals go to. Line was still long as of 6:30 pm(even though it closes at 7 pm) one thing is that it is cash only. It's buffet style and you pay at the end of the line. Best known for their pork and chicken skewers. Huge and a bang for your buck it comes to about $3.50 per one. 2 skewers I think would feed a person. You have the option to get it straight up, with rice, or with pancit but you pay more for the add on. Everything was so flavorful, but wished they gave an extra drizzle of the famous sauce on the skewers or to allow a request to have extra container on the side. It wasn't dry, but t could've used more. The chicken was super moist, the pork was beautifully charred but alittle fatty/grizzly in some areas. This place is a grab and go place and there's not much room inside. The lady taking our order was super nice and patient as we were asking a lot of questions since it was our first time there. We were asking about what desserts they offer but a lot was sold out or unavailable and wished there were labeled pictures of what everything was since it was alittle confusing connecting the dots. We didn't get anything else since they are most known for this item. I know a lot of people order here for catering and in bulk. Perfect for a large party and prices are reasonable. Street parking could be tough..we had to go around the block. Look for the green sign and that's where the place is. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for some authentic fillipino food.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming to Fil-Am for a long time now and it is hands down one of our favorite spots for Filipino food! We love their chicken and pork bbq skewers as well as their pancit. Their lumpia is amazing as well but they do sell out fast so make sure to get there early. They also are cash only so make sure you have some extra change before making the trip. I love Fil-Am and the staff as they're always so friendly and welcoming. They give you huuge portions as well and you definitely get your money's worth! Please support them if you're in Daly City or even South San Francisco as they have another location there!

Yelp
What I ordered: -Rice plate with chicken and pork skewer _ Fil-Am is a true gem. Their affordable and delicious food keeps me coming back. I usually order the rice plate with chicken and pork skewers, which are always flavorful with a perfectly charred taste. My family loves this place, and it's great for a quick dinner option. Although the store is always busy, it lacks indoor seating, so you have to grab and go. It can get particularly crowded during lunch and dinner hours due to its popularity. They also offer excellent catering options for parties. The staff is always friendly and generally quick with orders. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't already. Note: CASH ONLY

Yelp
Come for the food, it's a local gem. You can catch the bbq sticks wafting through the Daly City fog for blocks. FilAm a humble little spot with classic Filipino food for takeaway only. Parking is nearly always a miss, drive around the block and back onto Mission if you don't find anything along School Street on your first lap. Service is aite but we all know we come here for the excellent grub and nothing else. Their inefficiency during peak holiday season is their downfall. Everybody and their literal mothers come here for huge party trays and there's only one long line that goes down the block so the people trying to squeeze their way in through to door to pay are constantly bypassing those who are in line for walk-in plates. They're still cash only (ICK) and this whole like thing would be less of a problem if they took secured credit card payments online for the catering orders. My Favorite FIL-AM SPECIALS: BBQ Chicken & BBQ Pork $3.49 / stick Rice w/ 2 BBQ $8.99 Chicken Lumpia Shanghai $3.98 / 10 pcs or $35 / 100 pcs! Beef Kaldereta Chicken Afritada Pork Bicol Express Desserts: Ube $35 / half tray Bibingka & Cassava $4.00 ea Turon $1.25 ea

Yelp
The fact that you know immediately when you walk in that the food is going to be amazing, authentic, and made with love. This spot has been my go to for get togethers with big groups or meals with friends. They are the best for any occasion. You have to try the bbq pork and chicken on a stick. The meat is so flavorful and juicy best described like eating at a barbecue. Also love the pancit and Shanghai lumpia, which are the perfect appetizers. My family has been impressed every time we have a get together and I can't recommend their catering enough. Make sure you order in advance.

Yelp
Still the best chicken kebobs in the Bay Area. I don't live near but when I'm in fog town I make sure to swing by and get their grilled chicken kebob plate. You get two skewers and rice for about $11 out the door. The quality hasn't changed and the flavor is unbeatable. They don't skimp on the sauce and portions. Definitely worth every cent.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to get affordable Filipino food! My favorite is the chicken skewer with pancit. The chicken skewer is always fresh as you can see them grilling up the food right in front of you. It's also a steal for $3.50 to get a meaty skewer. Their lumpia is also an affordable snack option. They're currently selling 10 mini lumpia's for $4. If you're throwing a party, you can order ahead of time and go towards the cash register on the day of pick up to skip the line of people ordering food. Parking can be difficult but there are usually one or two spots available.

Yelp
Amazing people, always helping with a smile no matter how long the line gets. Best believe that line gets long. They are fast! The food is always the best. This hold a special place in my heart. Been coming here for 15 years and nothing has changed. The combos are always priced to sell. There's no indoor seating. Cash only and come early. If you try calling on a Sunday or before a major holiday, good luck. That phone will stay ringing. This is a gem in Daly City and if you've never been, stop by. It's only a mini detour from the city.

Yelp
I can only comment on the skewers as that's all I've ever had here...and their skewers are bomb! Both the chicken and pork are grilled and seasoned perfectly. I've called to order ahead as to avoid potential long lines. I think I like the pork slightly more than the chicken, but seriously both are great. They due dark meat chicken (truly the only real option y'all). Oh man, add them with a side of rice. *chef's kiss*

Yelp
This is my people's food, stick to ordering the pancit, and make sure to ask the less burnt barbeque because it can change your taste. I've tried the chicken afritada, I was a bit disappointed because it was on the sweet side which I don't remember tasting like that growing up. I'm actually scared of trying other dishes because they might be all sweeter. The should be a 2 star review but I was impressed at the young man that was working there that stopped serving the pork barbeque because it was too charred and offered chicken instead, he had integrity and honesty. Cleanliness is definitely observed regardless of how closed the workers are to each other.
