Flat Iron Spitalfields

We absolutely loved everything during our recent visit to Flat Iron. Our steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the mushroom sauce was superb. We also ordered chips, aubergine and mashed potatoes, which were all fantastic. Our passion fruit cocktails were excellent as well. They even offer free ice cream once you finish your meal, which is a lovely gesture. We will definitely visit again on our future trips to the UK. Very reasonable prices too!

I absolutely loved my dinner at Flat Iron! 10 minute wait without a reservation. Lovely modern but cozy atmosphere inside. My flat iron steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also ordered the truffle mac and cheese, chips and side of wild mushroom sauce. Everything together was delicious! I also had the lime and mint mocktail and it was light and refreshing. Service was fast but intentional and attentive. I would highly recommend Flat Iron and already want to go back.

100/10! If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars I would. Your staff, particularly Claudia & Adrienne are two superstars. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were AMAZING. The setting and atmosphere - beautiful! I would come back to London just to eat here again!

Delicious Food, But Room for Improvement – Flat Iron Spitalfields Flat Iron Spitalfields definitely delivers on flavor. The food was genuinely tasty—simple yet expertly done. The star of the evening was, of course, the steak, which was cooked beautifully and full of rich, satisfying flavor. The green salad served on the side was surprisingly refreshing and well-balanced, while the spinach cream was decent, though not particularly memorable. However, the portion sizes felt rather small for the price, and I left wishing there had been just a bit more on the plate. Service-wise, things were quite average. Staff were polite but seemed stretched thin, and the attentiveness wasn’t consistent throughout the meal. The venue itself is on the smaller side, and the tables are packed quite tightly together, which takes away from the overall comfort and ambiance. Even though we had booked in advance, we still faced a long wait, which was disappointing and a bit frustrating. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re after flavorful food in a casual setting—but be prepared for some compromises in space, service, and portion size. A strong 4 stars for the quality of the food alone.

Had the loveliest time at flat iron celebrating my birthday. Staff were all so lovely and kind, amazing service all around. The food was amazinggggg we had quite the spread and everything was delicious! Would definitely recommend this branch

I went here for the first time today with my friend Andrzej. I'm impressed that you can get a great steak for such a low price. The toppings are delicious, the sauces are excellent, the fries are fresh and crispy, and finally, I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful vanilla ice cream to go. The staff is friendly and professional, ready to provide full information about the menu.

Really good food, all dishes were amazing! Service was okay, I wouldn’t say it was wow. Cons would be that the portions are rather small, so youll have to order more dishes. We had to wait 20 minutes without reservations. Overall it was a pleasure night.
