Google
Some Coworkers and I came to try it out and we definitely enjoyed the vibe here. The options for a flight of their beers was great, definitely have some good choices. Sure theirs kids around but they aren't bothering nobody love the the family friendly atmosphere. Some more of us will be coming back soon! Food is good too btw.

Google
Beer was Great BUT… kids running around all over. I drove down to check it out but literally kids running around and getting loud. Kids holding up the bathroom. Kids crying.. kinda sad. I understand family time but kids hanging all over with beer scattered around seems kinda odd to me. They have food but I don’t see any sodas or anything but water for kids to drink.. if your not looking for the local 7 year old soccer team to hang with and want to have a beer more with adults you may look elsewhere.

Once again, Elk Grove does it. Spectacular beers, food people and the owner Andrew a good man! Come try the beers, they are great! I had the Just Add Tacos and my lady had the Capital NZ, both I would buy again and again. So much variety, exactly the way a micro brew should be. More variety than you will find than any brewery in the Sacramento area, a definite must try for beer lovers.

I love how this brewery feels like you're in an upscale business, instead of a big industrial building. The layout is designed to where you'll want to spend hours enjoying a beer or two while relaxing. Each beer I tasted was different than the one before. My favorite beer of the night, is called the 5 year. The brewery created it to celebrate their 5 year brewanniversary. This is a great date spot, because the beer and atmosphere are top notch. The pizza is delicious. The crust is thin, which accentuates the toppings. My only recommendation, is having games at the end of the long tables. People would be more inclined to stay longer and it would be a fun date activity. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Good ddipa; plenty of ipa options. Indoor/outdoor seating. Order at the bar then seat yourself. Run club event on Tuesdays happen here that get you $2/off beer? Pretty cool ambiance inside; was too hot to sit outside. One of the better (?best) EG breweries I found

Google
Had the best margarita pizza I’ve had in a very long time with the best balsamic glaze 🤤 there summer salad with fresh fruit was to die for. I’ve been hearing my roomates rave about this place for a long time but this was my first time I’ve been able to try! I only like drinking ciders but they don’t have any, I tried the double digits sour and it was great! Shout out to this place and chef Jared !

Yelp
Since coming here the first time we have now made this place a staple in our date/family venue. I absolutely love the Broseidon which is my favourite beer right meow. Finally made it out for brunch. Brunch was great, we had the breakfast pizza and chilequilles. I had a michelada with a hazy which ended up being super fire. The service here is always on point whether its saying hi to Sam whenever he walks around or a friendly knowledgeable beer tender. Always on point. I look forward to spending my days off here.

Yelp
Flatland Brewing Co. is hands down one of my favorite spots in Elk Grove! Every beer I've tried has been amazing honestly, I don't even have a favorite because they're all that good. The flavors are always on point, super fresh, and really creative. The food? Delicious. Perfectly pairs with the drinks and makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you're into great beer, good eats, and a local spot that gets it right every time!

Yelp
I checked out Flatland Brewing last Friday because they had 90s night in which they had a DJ spinning all of the 90s R&B and hip-hop hits. I was so happy that they had non-alcoholic beverages and food available for purchase because I don't drink. Even though the pizza was expensive at $22, it was super delicious and filling. The non-alcoholic beverage was very refreshing. The ambiance is super clean and chill. There were even surprisingly kids eating, hanging out, dancing there. The only con of the place is that parking is very limited there. So, you most likely would have to park in the parking lot diagonally from the brewery. Other than that, I would come back.

Yelp
For some reason Yelp is saying I have an unfinished draft even though I posted a review years ago so hopefully this'll fix that glitch lol. You can't go wrong with this place. The food, beer, service and ambiance are all excellent. Their beer was and still is delicious and refreshing. The addition of The Pizza Peel kitchen in 2020 only made things better since it allowed them to have a permanent food vendor and everything they make is high quality. The only negative think I might have to say if I was forced to is that parking can suck on certain days/events since their main parking lot and the lot behind the building aren't that big. There's also technically street parking but most of it is taken up by big rigs/semi trucks. It's a nice spot that I find myself at regularly. I'm glad they've been able to weather the storm in this town after we've just had 2 breweries close in less than a year's timespan. It's a good experience every time I come here.

Yelp
Really amazing brewery that serves amazing IPA's and super tasty sours. I met a friend here last night to grab a couple of beers. I'll have to remember to never go on a Wednesday night again. Bingo night at flatland is a hit! There wasn't an open seat in the house. We decided to only grab one beer, which was delicious, but had to leave because the only available seating was outside. This definitely isn't a knock on the brewery, they are just busy because everything here is really good.

Yelp
Brew was great! Service was great! Outside patio was fun!!!!! Also, the pizza onsite was pretty good.

Yelp
Friendly service and great beer! Our favorite brewery in town, as they have good rotation and selection. In a funky area with limited parking, but don't let this stop you from checking them out. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Also, game nights on Weekdays and Thursday are a blast! Bring your team and win $$ off your tab! Cheers

Yelp
My guy and I stopped in today because I was eager to try their variety of sour beers; he's more into seltzer, but I'd seen that they had at least a couple on tap for him to drink while I did my beer thing. Though it seemed pricey, their food menu looked good too. I opted for the taster flight of 6 x 4oz pours, and he got the Margarita seltzer. The service was pleasant enough, but unfortunately the ambiance turned us off due to the amount of rug rats there. On a Saturday afternoon, there was an inordinate amount of kids with their parents present, post-soccer game and just dining-in in general. As a shameless childless cat lady, being surrounded by munchkins wasn't my jam. I'd appreciate if people would leave their kids at home and realize that other adults who go out to drink don't necessarily appreciate having kiddos as part of the mix. If this doesn't bother you, you might be into trying Flatland on the weekend. I'd give them a try on a weeknight in hopes that there'd be less to no minors present; otherwise, I'd take the booze to go and find a more adult-friendly brewery in the area.

Yelp
This place was awesome! Beer was fantastic, service was great and the food we had was spectacular! Definitely a fun vibe and love the decor! We stopped in from out of town and were glad we did! Will definitely be returning!

Yelp
We came for my husband's birthday. The staff were so friendly and accommodating as well as the pizza and beer was fantastic!! They have a great area outside that we were able to enjoy. Definitely will be back!!

Yelp
We just went yesterday -- first time since their expansion. Oddly, I liked their beers more when it was a smaller space. I tried a couple of their hazy beers, lager and their whiskey barrel aged stout. None stood out to me. However, I've been to Flatland enough to know they do make great beers and so I'll go back during the summer when it won't be too cold to sit outside. I also miss the long table seating they had by the beer tanks, but glad they were able to expand for more customers. The service was fine.

Yelp
I love their brunch it's sooo good. I ordered the breakfast sando and it was very filling. The tater totots are super crisp as well. The food orders takes a little to make, so just know that when ordering. The overall vibe is super chill, a cool local spot

Yelp
I have to say my recent experience here was a 10/10. We went with our 9 year old daughter who quickly located the board games. I ordered the original grimsicle and it did not disappoint. I was not sour at all. The flavor was light with hints of citrus. My spouse order the season orange slush drink. It was so refreshing especially during these very hot days. Side note for the kiddos they have Capri sun drinks and soda cans. The server at the counter was incredibly nice. We didn't get a chance to order their hot food items because we were meeting friends for dinner late that evening. Overall great place and ample parking.

Yelp
Wings, Chips and guacamole IPA beer was awesome! Very clean and spacious dining indoor and outdoor. Kid and Pet friendly was a plus perfect for family meet up. Fast and friendly service! Relaxing ambiance

Yelp
A very chill place to grab drinks with friends. I went there with my girl to check it out. Grabbed chips and dip and 4 beers. Fair price and staff is friendly there. Only thing is when this place gets packed. There is no parking

Yelp
Great brews and food. We came here on Saturday evening 5:30. The interior was not packed at all and we received fast service. We ordered a four pour sampler and the stag new release. The beer amazing. We also ordered the bacon jam burger and the ceasar salad. Yum. Will definitely make this a go to brewery in the future!!

Yelp
Great beers, lovely little brewery we found on our way from the willow fog pumpkin patch. My family enjoyed the setting will def go back again!

Yelp
Cool little spot. My man liked his beers and would go back to try others with the guys. We ordered burgers from The Pizza Peel food truck located on the patio. Took about 30 min to come out on a Friday night. The patio was closed for an event so we had to wait for a seat inside. The bacon Jam burger was juicy AF lol, grab napkins! It is a salty sweet burger with slabs of Brie cheese, arugula, pickles and some house sauce on a brioche bun. Came with potato chips and a extra house pickle and slice of Chile pepper on the side. It was cooked well ( some pink left inside) and was tender and flavorful. It was a bit sweet for me, but I enjoyed the meat and the pickles taste homemade. My boyfriend enjoyed it and would order it again. He didn't like the chips much but I liked mine, nice and salty. I was hoping for fries but they did the trick. Anyway I'd come back and try a taco.

Yelp
Wanted a quick bite to eat after son's baseball game and this was closest brewery with food. Usually breweries that serve food have a pretty good menu and this looked promising based on my research. Well looks can be deceiving. One dark beer on tap, and I must say it was AWESOME. The food was below average. My son's teriyaki chicken sandwich was very small and completely drenched in sauce. My turkey and prosciutto sandwich was tasty, but potato chips as a side instead of fries (on both sandwich plates) was disappointing. I ordered an $11 kid's pizza figuring my son would be hungry after his game. We both laughed out loud when we picked it up. Extremely small and it actually looked like a frozen pizza that had been put in the oven. They were having trivia night and that was pretty cool, but overall a place that I'd rate as below average based on their lack of dark beers and poor food. When sending $50+ on food at a brewery, I expect much better than we got. An improved kitchen is drastically needed. Service, atmosphere, and seating area were all excellent. The food was not.

Yelp
The customer service at this brewery is always above and beyond! The staff are friendly, hard working and caring. The beer is delicious and always an amazing variety with frequent new releases! The IPAs, sours and stouts are each distinctive and highest quality. We bring Flatland beers to friends in other cities and get amazing compliments! We love coming to Flatland to watch a game in the taproom or sit on the shaded patio under the misters and visit with friends. The food and service from their food partner the Pizza Peel is outstanding and always a fantastic variety! The Eggs Benedict on weekend brunch and any pizza for lunch or dinner are some of our favorites!
google avatar

Alejandra G.

Yelp
Atmosphere is cool and food was good. Only complaint was that it took a while for our food. When it was 10 min past the time they said it would be ready we had to go approach one of the servers/food runners who then informed us that their system went down and it would be an additional 20 min. No communication prior was a little irritating but food was very flavorful

Yelp
This place is a real neighborhood treasure. The beer is great, the food - so good and such a welcome environment. We were able to make a beer there recently, and Andrew (the owner) is so generous with this time and the place. We went on a Sunday evening - had great pizza, a salad - the pretzel (just after Oktoberfest) -- we had so much fun. Thank you again!

Yelp
Overall, visiting Flatland Brewing was a really great experience. Came here for a Friday date night to have some beer and pizza (from The Pizza Peel, operating out of a shipping container outside of Flatland). Knocking off a star from the rating because the pizza was burnt completely black on the bottom and one of the glasses had remnants of someone's lipstick, which was quite unappealing... They have QR codes for the food menu. (I was trying to look at the pizza menu beforehand and couldn't find anything.) The pizza was very good, especially with the beer. I had the pizza called "All The Things" with both meat and veggie toppings. The beers were unique and for the flight of tasters they give you a paper to write down a selection of six beers (from the beers that have the price of the taster listed, not all beers have tasters available). Green Tease was very light and an interesting taste. I've never had a beer from tea before and thought that was different. Tropical Contact High was a bit too tart for me to really enjoy it. I also tried Pool Floaty Party, Pineapple Dream, Issa Vibe, and Giving up the Ghost. In my opinion, Pool Floaty had a stronger pineapple taste than Pineapple Dream, maybe because the latter had more hops? In any case, I enjoyed sampling each of the flavors I tried. I'll definitely continue to visit Flatland and look forward to tasting their innovative menu of changing beers.

Yelp
Nice brewpub. I like their somewhat small inside space and definitely their more expansive outdoor area. - Good beer with quite a few varieties with a range of ABVs (I really don't need to be drinking 7.0%+ beers anymore). - Food is available from a cart in the outdoor area that seems permanently installed. The bacon jam burger rocks even if it's a bit messy. Not as much a fan of the pickled veggies. - Parking is challenging. Friendly place. Recommended.

Yelp
Another awesome brewery on Elk Grove. Staff was helpful, it's small but that's what makes it a good spot. The beers are really good and it always helps to have tvs at the bar.

Yelp
Hidden gem in Elk Grove. Wouldn't know unless you knew. My friend brought me here. I love sours and omg I fell in love after I had their sours. Best sours I have ever had. I don't like beer because it doesn't taste good to me and it makes me bloated. Drinking a sour is like having a dessert beer but not sweet. I didn't know that there was food until my friend brought out the pizza. As soon as I saw the pepperoni I already was in love because I love crunchy curled pepperoni. The pizza bread was not too thick and it was soft and chewy, just the way I like it. It tastes perfect with a beer. The ambiance was great. Inside was very cute- a darker atmosphere. I liked the outside seating with the market lights, wooden benches and heaters. Everyone should give this cute little place a try.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Was in the neighborhood and thought I'd give this place another try. I walked in the place at 4:45 to find four gentlemen sitting around a table drinking beer, as I sat there and waited a few minutes, one of the gentlemen came up and said I'm sorry we don't open till five ....so I walked out. Now, if you don't open till 5, why are your doors open? If you don't open till 5 why is it that I can walk through your front door at 4:45?If you don't open to 5 why are there 4 of you sitting around drinking beer? Never again Flatland. It's just as easy to head over to Waterman's, where they actually serve you beer, and better beer at that!
google avatar

Sue V.

Yelp
I'm not a big beer drinker but I like Flatland for several reasons, including the ambiance, selection of non beers/seltzers for folks like myself, and because they allow outside food (you can also order and grab food from next door). The interior is rustic modern and very cute with string lights. Staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. It was rainy that day, but the patio looks like it would be great to enjoy during nicer weather. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite brewery in Elk Grove! Lots of sours/smoothie sour and hazy ipas. We ordered a flight of 8 beers to try as many as we can. Some are only can pours, so you cannot get it in a flight. Prices are ok. Only indoor seating but the garage door is open so it's really aired out. We love the Keep Beer Weird Sour (keylime, banana, pear) and Beachfront Avenue Tropical Sour. Mangonada Madness sour was not bad too. Autocorrect triple milkshake IPA , Tonic immobility hazy ipa, and Murkin 9 to 5 Hazy Ipa were good too. They also have Lager, Pilsner, West coast IPA, Stout. They had a deal of 10% off bill if you buy 3 packs of cans to-go. One restroom inside only. Parking wasn't bad. Just park on the street if the private parking lot is full. They allow outside food.
google avatar

Goring T.

Yelp
Loved the vibe the place offered, it felt like an at home comfort level. The service was great, felt like my family and I were well taken care of. Enjoyed a flight that was refreshing and included 6 of their on tap selections. They had a nice variety of IPA's and DIPA's.
google avatar

Yelp
Best brewery in EG hands down! Great folks and service! Intimate and family friendly atmospherePlus their kitchen the Pizza Peel does more than delicious pizza. Thepizza is always a treat, but don't over look their other items. Food and Brew made with love and consistency!! Get you some!!!

Yelp
Great selection of beers, not really into beers but food and cocktails were pretty tasty, visiting from OC, I will come back next time I'm in Sacramento.

Yelp
Went to Flatland for a work event today, and I was blown away by their food and the overall ambience of their establishment. I'm not a beer drinker at all, but the samples Andrew offered me changed my mind about beer. I ended up picking up two four packs due to the amazing taste of their quality high-end beer. The brewery was also very clean and the owner walked around and ensured everyone was assisted. Service/Quality/Ambience A+++
google avatar

David B.

Yelp
Good food and good beer, this place hits both of my checklist items. Order food with the toast app and they will yell out your name or bring it to you when it is ready. If you are hungry, I recommend ordering it ahead of time as it can get pretty busy and there are only two cooks trying to pump out the food. Expect it to take about 25 minutes or so for the food to be ready or longer depending on how packed it is. While waiting, get yourself a flight of beers. They usually have about 4 or so IPAs on tape, 2-3 sours and a few others like marten or lagers or pilsners depending on what comes up in their beer rotation and time of year. This is one of my favorite spots to visit and the staff are very friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky as large semis take up a large part of the street parking and the parking lots in front of and behind the business complex can fill up quickly. Go early to get your spot on check out the live music they tend to have on some Fridays and weekends. Good time there l.

Colleena G.

Yelp
Such a cute brewery! Came here today with my family. The inside is so cute with dark walls, wooden accents and cute greenery. They had the best sours ! I also really enjoyed their coffee ipa. One of my favorite things was the hop water, you must try. All of the workers were very friendly and helpful with choosing beers. The outside has misters and tons of shade.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite brewery in Elk Grove, greater Sacramento area. Hidden gem with amazing food, good spot for kids with the outside area and recommend for all my family.
google avatar

Gary Q.

Yelp
First time here and wanted to grab a beer after work. I went next door to place an order for the pretzels. Guy taking the orders had a "can't be bothered" attitude towards us...geez just placing an order. While we waited for the food went next door to order a couple beers. The younger staff could also not be bothered. They brought out our pretzels and they were ok, nothing crazy. The beers were also ok, I mean just ok to pass the time here. The place itself looks really nice but not sure I'd return.
google avatar

Mark K.

Yelp
These folks know how to make fantastic craft brews. Wonderful small venue with on-site food and Sunday Brunch! The ambiance is pleasant and a couple TVs run the current high demand sports events. Great way to spend an afternoon
google avatar

Krobkal P.

Yelp
First time coming here to this hidden gem. It is a little hard to find and the parking lot is small, so we had to find street parking but there was a nice wooden sign to point us in the right direction. As far as beer goes, we got a tasting flight since I had an Elk Grove Local Pass so it was free. Kinda sad that this visit did not have any stouts or porters on tap- I love them dark but they did have some different flavor combinations that were intriguing. Didn't do any food this round- we realized it was kind of hidden by the back patio- but there is a QR code on the tables for customers. The only small things that missed the 5 stars. Looking forward to attending a trivia night here (Thursdays) sometime. It's well designed inside with the logo on metal art on the walls, to the glasses, and on their merchandise. It's nicely decorated and decently spacious inside and a big plus is that there are TVs inside as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Our first visit to Flatland. Had a tough time finding parking as it was very busy. They offer food and there is indoor and outdoor seating. A great selection of beers. We had already eaten so only ordered beer flights to try the selection of beers. Met some great people with their dogs. Another great brewery in Elk Grove.

Yelp
The BEST brewery in Elk Grove! We are dedicated Tilted Mash patrons but Flatland is where it's at. The beers are very comparable in season and flavor to Tilted Mash, so take that for what it is. However, Pool Floaty Party is, hands down, my favorite brewery beer from the area! The food is ON POINT! I love that it's consistent (rather than having to keep up with a calendar of food trucks) and it is super tasty! They have burgers, pizza, "beeria" tacos, and more. You can order and pay online and just pick up at the window! The patio is also awesome. They have a totally covered and intimate section that offers misters and an uncovered area under trees. They've also recently expanded their indoor area to include a ton more tables for people who want to be inside. One of my FAVORITE things about this place is the Hop Water they offer! I'm pregnant and we spent Father's Day doing a little brew tour with daddy-to-be since I am a designated sober driver. This is the ONLY place that not only had sparkling water but their own spin on it, called hop water. It is super refreshing and almost like drinking a light, craft beer, but it's WATER! I really appreciated that. Especially because we have N/A family members that can enjoy it in the future too. To top it off, the staff is always super friendly. We love it here!

Chris K.

Yelp
One of our favorite breweries in the Sac area - great beer, friendly atmosphere and excellent food (the eggs Benedict for brunch is amazing!).

Yelp
Good service. Pleasant crowd. They have a variety of nice brewed drinks. Definitely a good local hangout spot.

Yelp
Friendly staff, good service, nice ambiance, and very good craft beers! We regularly attend BINGO and trivia nights.

Yelp
Had it not been for a friend bringing this crazy peach cobbler beer to a Super Bowl party, I'd have never known this place existed. Hidden in a small business park right near Grantline road and 99, this place is a hidden gem. There's a small food service area attached, complete with gourmet burgers and pizzas. You can order online using the QR code on the tables. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming with a bar and tables, a tv and several events depending on the day. We've been here when it was loud with Wu Tang playing, or quiet and playing a board game with friends. But the unique beers are the best part! I usually stick the ambers, reds, whatever. But here they have a variety of sours, hazy, fruity, totally unique beers. Georgia Peach tastes EXACTLY like a peach cobbler, and they have a tropical fruit one that it so fresh, tart, and delicious it feels like you're on an island. There are more traditional selections as well, but I like tasting the interesting ones!

M M.

Yelp
Just stopped by but loved it! Will definitely come back. Staff were kind and light hearted!
google avatar

Nate W.

Yelp
The food here ("the pizza peel") is really amazing. House pickled veggies, goat cheese arugula pizza, burger with bacon jam? The chef is super nice and takes pride in his food and it is a cut above. The do some really creative brews that are delicious (the peach cobbler style "sour" was amazing) and they've done a great job turning and industrial park site into a cool little beer garden.

Yelp
One of the best breweries in the Sacramento region. A must try! Varying styles of well made beers. Dunkel was malty but not overly so. Saison was slightly fruity but finished dry West coast ipa was dank not bitter Pilsner was a bit bready with a dry finish. Cheers!
