Prob the best bagels in queens. They have everything you can possibly dream of for breakfast and lunch. I had a wheat bagel with 2 eggs and cheese. I also had a green juice. I mean both were great. Bagel was so fresh and delicious. Honestly you have to try it. They have all sorts of stuffing too and they're not shy with the portions. Id highly recommend this place. Parking is a bit tough though

I ordered delivery from this establishment. I asked for scrambled egg on a bagel, they gave fried. I ordered hash browns, literally one piece for $4 when I could have gotten an entire box from Trader Joe’s for the same price. And it’s so greasy. I also ordered the strawberry tofu bagel. One would think this would be strawberry flavored tofu cheese. No. It’s tofu cream cheese with strawberry jelly. Which is most likely full of HFCS. Throw the whole order away. Never again.

I’m not sure who was working on 8/4/24 around 3:00pm - but reading is not their strongest suit. I ordered three sandwiches for my children. One bacon egg and cheese, one sausage egg and cheese and one plain bagel w/ cream cheese. ONLY one sandwich was correct. For the plain bagel, I received a sesame bagel (which no one eats). Ideally, if the plain bagel wasn’t available, contact the customer or cancel the item. UBER refuses to refund me for the items, so I’ve lost out on $15.00. I don’t care about a refund at this point, I’ve deleted the app. Just hoping this can be avoided moving forward because when made right - their sandwiches are DELICIOUS.

This place is not what it use to be. The bagels are like footballs. Why are your bagels so big? Do you guys really know how to make bagels? The bagel had zero taste. They made me a bacon, egg, and cheese and it was all bagel. The place is newly redone, but they have no employees to serve their customers. You guys need to get it together or just permanently close. There are so many better bagel stores in the neighborhood just choose another one.

Horrible. First of all they say temporary closed BUT their not and I ordered from them on Uber eats. They got 2 orders wrong out of 3 as you can see in pictures. I called the place and spoke to the guy in charge and he told me to call Uber eats their the ones who got it wrong smh when their job is to pick up the order only Not make the food. got a Rainbow bagel with Blueberry cream cheese. the colorful firm plain bagel with nice chewy interior (they sold out of blueberry bagels). the bagel was generously smothered in rich blueberry cream cheese which tasted like a blueberry cheesecake. a very desert-y combo for fans of a sweet option. the service was quick. the shop has a some seating at the windows and right outside the entrance.

We’ve ordered from here a few times for the love of God. I don’t know why the Italian omelette have salami this past time. When I ordered the food took over an hour to come, and they did not do the order correctly they gave me the Italian omelette with salami, and not sausage like I asked for. The guy was really nice about it and I felt bad but the food definitely should not have taken over an hour to come to my house.

This bagel shop felt like an authentic NYC bagel shop, not a social media famous spot. There was only a few seats, so this is more of a grab and go kind of place. On the weekend, there was everyone from moms with kids to individuals there wanting to grab bagels. This spot was bustling. It wasn't too crowded and while there wasn't a wait to order, there was a bit of a wait for our orders. I ordered the toasted Everything Bagel with Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese. Although the Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese was good, it felt more of a dessert filling than a sweet cream cheese. The Everything Bagel itself was perfect, chewy and soft at the same time.

My wife and I ordered bagels on Seamless over 2 hours ago. For over a half hour, we tried calling to get a status update on our order and no one picked up the phone, except for two times when the call was forwarded to Forest Hills Bagels Express. At one point, I was able to leave a voice mail. When I finally got through to the store, one of your employees actually yelled at me and hung up the phone. When I got through AGAIN, I got nothing but apologies and no straight answer as to the status of the order we placed OVER TWO HOURS AGO. By far the worst experience we've ever had ordering from anywhere, and not only will we never order from you again, but we will tell everyone we know exactly what happened this morning. You had an opportunity to earn our business and you failed miserably.

Forest Hills Bagels is really great and I am glad that they are open 365 days a week (albeit I hold their employees get vacation too everyone needs it). This place deserves all the hype that it gets- it's solid fresh bagels at fantastic prices, what's not to love? They also don't skimp on the lox and capers if you order a classic lox bagel and you can tell the salmon is fresh quality. Coffee could be better but I could care less about that to be honest. Every employee is super nice too despite how busy it gets. All in all, I will seemingly always go to Forest Hills Bagels whenever I'm in the area (and rightfully so)!

I stopped by Sunday afternoon, and I could tell this was a neighborhood favorite because the parking lot was packed. Fortunately, it is a high-traffic area so you will not have to wait long for a parking space. I ordered a sesame bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese ($5) and a toasted egg bagel with butter ($2.50). These bagels are definitely on the softer and fluffier side and while they lack that thick crust, I thought they were very easy and delicious to eat. I wasn't a fan of the sundried tomato cream cheese though, as it had a strange chalky mouthfeel.

They didn't give much bacon nor was it crispy which I requested on the bacon egg cheese. The bagel only had half of it spread with cream cheese which was confusing. It also tasted like the bagel itself was from yesterday. Food arrived cold because it wasn't insulated.

There bagels are phenomenal, the service is efficient, and there's plenty of space to be able to wait for your order. Plus there are some seated areas provided in case you'd like to eat in. Overall, a great experience every time I go.

Very tasty, nicely chewy, bagels. I ordered a half dozen, including Everything, Whole Wheat and Sesame Seed bagels. They counter staff perfectly toasted the bagels for us. There was modest seating inside and in front of the store. I've been coming here a lot, and it is very good.

I ordered via Grubhub. My delivery was on time but it's clear the staff do not read the order notes, much less the side that you pay extra for was missing when my order was received. It was a subpar Philly cheesesteak that had more onions than meat. Never ordering from here again.

I order from Forest Hills Bagels once or twice a week, and I'm always pleased. Whether I choose bagels and scallion cream cheese, tuna fish on sesame with a side of fries, an omelette and home fries, or a flavored bagel with flavored cream cheese like blueberry, I am always happy because the food is always consistent. The deliver is always quick, the food delivered hot and fresh, and the order is always correct. The bagel that comes still warm from the oven and has the nice crispy texture on the outside but is soft on the inside is perfect.

This is our go-to quick takeout breakfast spot! They have some parking and some outdoor dining, but we always do take out. Sometimes there is too little cheese or egg, but the vast majority of the time they are consistent with really fast service. Takes credit card.

I rarely post reviews. Their fresh bagels are very good and I buy quite often from them. But yesterday had an unpleasant experience. I got a bag of bagel that they keep by the window and claim them to be a day old. I wanted to test. They were definitely much older than that.like I said I often buy from them and have eaten the bagels after 3-4 days but they never taste the way the so called day old bagels in the bag tasted like. Also got a blueberry muffing to try and it was stale too. It was extremely dense. Not trying again. So my suggestion is stick with the fresh bagels.

Do not order delivery from this place or you'll be sorry. I've tried them again and for a while the experience was ok. But they've burned me by being late and delivering my order to the wrong apartment. I may walk in if I'm in the area but this is last the last straw. 1 star for the bagels, negative four for the sandwich. Ordered a Brooklyn special hero; turkey, Swiss, lettuce, tomato. $11.99. For that I expected a decent sandwich. It was great if you like a bread sandwich with some lettuce and tomato. I think there might have been one whole slice of Swiss and I literally had to peel the sandwich open to find the thinly shaved turkey that was hidden in there. For $12 I should have at least seen some turkey. Bread is not typical hero bread either. More like the frozen stuff you get in bags in grocery stores and keep in your home freezer. No crunchy crust, just meh. All in all, go to a local deli and get a much better hero for about $8. Real crap (which I suffered an hour after eating it).

I ordered a pastrami smoked salmon bagel. Pretty sure this is just regular lox. If it was pastrami lox, it didn't taste like it. And it was like almost 20 dollars total so it wasn't really worth it. It's convenient for locals tho.

A wonderful friend of mine brought me your bagels after I asked her to bring me New York Bagels. She brought me a dozen of your amazing bagels and here I am, in Austin, TX enjoying them immensely. I would give it 4 or 5 stars if it was not for playing club type music at club type volume at 6 in the morning. Who the hell want to hear this type of music so early in the morning on the way to work. I would sit outside except most of the time it's either how or cold. And even when the weather is good. Who wants to breath in queens blvd car exhaust.

What a joke. Food is decent and service is good but they have some real balls to charge $4.75 for iced green tea. Now if the iced green tea was actually the equivalent of normal cup of tea but cold with a little ice I could accept it and just not order again. However, these mfs give you the equivalent of two drops of green tea in a cup of ice that just tastes like dirty water. They get a fancy bubble tea machine and I guess they need to pay for it somehow. Just don't go here, plenty of other places that don't schist you.

Despite the name, Forest Hills Bagel's menu is mostly non-bagel items. There was a hand sanitizer dispenser near the entrance. Unlike at most stores, this dispenser wasn't empty. Fast, efficient service. The biggest inconvenience is the store's hours. They don't seem to be posted anywhere. The hours on Yelp are wrong--they were definitely not open at 5 pm on Friday.

As I'm 39wks pregnant, I went on a week long bagel breakfast run due to my cravings lol so I hit up a few well named bagel shops in forest hills. After comparisons, I have to say, I had higher expectations for forest hills bagels but their bagels were stale even after being toasted. My husband didn't even finish his bagel because it was hard to chew.(poor husband, got dragged this whole week to eat bagel with me every morning haha) One good thing about forest hills bagels is that their strawberry cream cheese was delicious with real strawberry pieces in there.

Back again with the wife Saturday September 19th 2020 ..., Who said that Ringling Brother's Circus is out of business ??? If you love good food & a show this is for you ... Their Bagels & Flat Bagels will never disappoint along with their salads & breakfast sandwiches.... Just know that your ordering skills must be on point over here ... don't walk up to the counter not knowing what you want ... Yelling is a must ... they yell at you and if u want your order made correctly you must yell back at them even louder !!! Scream at them at the top of your lungs ... now even louder then ever being that we all have to were masks ... Did I mention they have delicious coffee !!! Guess what ... they forget to put ketchup on my wife's bacon & egg sandwich.... what a surprise !!!! Not !!!! This is their normal ... I heard her yell 3 X's SPK and her server repeated it !!! The bagels and muffins are good, but everytime i come here I'm paying a different price for the same items. With the long lines, I'm always hesitant to complain. Also, if you come when they are super busy , they might mess up your order, so pay attention.

Forest Hills Bagel was on the list of top 10 bagel in NYC and we were surprised we haven't tried even we live in neighborhood. It was crowded on a Holiday (MLK day) morning but the line moved very fast so the wait wasn't bad. The staff wasn't not friendly but attentive and served everything in a sense of urgency. The food was okay but not surprisingly palatable or must to try. We had western omelette and smoked salmon with everything bagel. The portion was amazingly great with reasonable price but it's just for quick fix and not delicate at all.

Since new management has taken over my favorite bagel place has gone dramatically downhill. My mozzarella sticks had no mozzarella in them. Just fried sticks. Bagels burnt. Salads went bad quickly, in a day. Meaning it's not fresh. Ugh

Ive ordered from this place a few times and never had any issues with my order. Once i took everything out of the bag, i noticed a sandwich was missing and the wrong 32oz drink was given. So i decided to call them up and ask about the missing items. The guy was so rude and told me that it was the drivers fault and that there was nothing they could do. I was shocked and very disappointed because this place has good food but the service is horrible and so is the customer service. Done with this place

I've come here for other things outside of a bagel. They've got a wide menu and a variety of offerings including smoothies, salads, sandwiches, wings, burgers and quick picks-up like packaged fruit & drinks. Food prices are super affordable and apart from the bagels everything is seemingly made fresh to order, judging by wait time. This spot is jumping in the morning so be prepared for a wait in line. Beyond the morning rush, I haven't really dealt with a significant. As everyone has said, seating is limited. Two counters inside without four seats and then 3 or so tables out front. Staff is friendly! Regarding the food, it seems very middle of the line to me depending on the day. It's not horrible but it's not phenomenal. The burger tasted like a frozen patty. The smoothie was a bit bland (but maybe because it didn't have sugary mix-ins and had added protein?). The wings are okay, my son is obsessed with them. I'd say give it a go. For the price, it's worth experimenting

This is a local bagel shop that I get my bagel fix when I'm in the mood for a bagel. Come with some patience because the lines can get long in the morning but they do move fast. As soon you walk in the smell, you smell that yummy bread, food and coffee in the back and your stomach starts growling more, LOL. They have a huge selection of breakfast items and bagels variety. I've tried different bagels but my favorites are the raisin cinnamon and egg. They have a nice selection of different cream cheese. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other breakfast spots. Parking is tight in the area

If I could put ZERO stars I would. My job orders from here every single day for years and every day the order is wrong. Today we had enough. They didn't even answer the phone so we could order so we had to order online, order came of course WRONG. We tried calling AND emailing multiple times to let them know they didn't send us one our ours tea's, no answer. My co worker called so many times and got no answer that she finally got up and walked all the way to the place. Then she finally gets the girl to give her the tea and she still made it wrong by giving her decaf which she didn't ask for and it was basically all milk no tea. The bagels are always burnt, sandwich's never made correctly or they looks disgusting. I'm not sure about my co workers but I will never in my life get food from there again, I rather not eat.

My go-to spot for bagels in the neighborhood. They are usually very busy and messed up my online order before, but the staff is really nice and made it right. They do default to plain bagels if my number one choice egg isn't available, but if I put a second option, they'll give me that instead. My go to is egg or egg everything with scallion cream cheese.
