Franco Manca Brixton - Review - Brixton - London - The Infatuation
"Franco Manca is one of the daddies as far as Neapolitan-style pizza in London is concerned, and their original restaurant in Brixton Arcade is where it all started. Coming here is like travelling back in time, kind of like visiting a retro arcade, or going outside the M25. The inside of the restaurant has a huge oven that keeps the place warm, and turns out excellent pizzas with top quality, classic toppings like wild mushrooms and buffalo ricotta. Whatever you order, you can’t go wrong, and it’s perfect for a casual hang or pre-lash eats.

"This little pizzeria is nestled within Brixton Village market and attracts people from far and wide to taste their famous authentic sourdough pizzas. Each lovingly made with only organic ingredients, fired in a traditional wood oven and great specials board. Be prepared to queue, the wait is worth it!" - Eley Kishimoto
Franco Manca Supermarket Pizza Range Launches in UK | Eater London
"Originally an indie artisanal pizzeria in Brixton market that earned cult status in the late 2000s for its sourdough bases, Somerset mozzarella and natural wines, the group — now owned by Fulham Shore — has grown to 45 restaurants across London, 28 elsewhere in the U.K. and one in Athens. It has launched a range of five “premium” chilled, cook-at-home pizzas in 500 supermarkets across the U.K., retailing at £5.75 and featuring toppings such as four cheese with a balsamic glaze; salami and chilli honey; fennel sausage and red pepper; and beef meatball with red onion and pecorino (about 25p more than the long-standing Pizza Express Sloppy Giuseppe). The range was developed in partnership with Italian manufacturer Rondanini and the group’s executive chef Alfonso Marseglia after many months of careful development, and the company says wider grocery distribution (with plans to add other retailers from late 2023) is intended to raise brand awareness, especially where it does not yet have a restaurant presence." - Adam Coghlan

Very good atmosphere, with varied music and at an adequate volume. From the table you can see how they prepare the pizzas in their oven. We ordered 3 pizzas, 1 salad and 1 dip and everything was delicious. Of note, the very friendly staff. Lella served us.

Such a wonderful place. Everyone is so friendly (Lella is amazing), and the food is GORGEOUS. Particularly liked the freshness of the ingredients on the sourdough bases. We had a tomato base pizza, and a white base pizza: both really flavourful. Thanks FM Brixton!
