The Best Restaurants In Dublin - Dublin - The Infatuation

"St. Kevin’s is blessed with all kinds of places to eat and drink, and Frank’s is where you’ll find the people who like to swill pét-nat and talk about their Noble Rot magazine subscription. These days it feels like the former-shop-to-wine-bar pipeline is well trodden. Frank’s, at least, was not a laundrette, but a butcher’s. Here, it’s hard to imagine an evening that wouldn’t be improved by having a glass on a big terrazzo kitchen island and hyper-fixating on an interaction you had at work." - daisy meager, jake missing, ciera velarde

The 38 Best Restaurants in Dublin, Ireland | Eater

"Inside a former butcher’s shop with the original awning still in place, you’ll find a cave à manger-style wine bar with an 18-seat communal high table and counter seats at the window. Katie Seward, one of the country’s top sommeliers, constantly updates the superb list of more than 150 low-intervention bottles. David Bradshaw, who previously worked in Michelin-starred Lyle’s in London, has a deft touch in the concise menu of small plates. Know before you go: Walk-ins only." - Corinna Hardgrave

We went for a private birthday event. It’s a small and cozy wine bar with good service. A really nice spot in Dublin.

Gorgeous little neighbourhood wine bar. Highly recommend for friends or a date.

Went here just after it opened and had a lovely time. Casual and cool without any compromise on service. Wine was great and such good value by the glass. We tried one of everything on the menu and they were all tasty and interesting - even the nuts! The beef was really delicious and the gnocchi was moreish. Looking forward to returning.

Great wine bar on Camden st - with some excellent food. The tagliatelle with ragu was excellent and cooked at the bar. The night we were there it was quiet (Wednesday) but I have walked past many times when it has been hard to get in. Being quiet I thought the staff might be a bit more engaging but were not… didn’t really want to talk much about the food or wine…I hope that was just an aberration.

Top notch! Best wine bar around, no doubt. Food was great. Ambience was 10/10. Loved this place.

Came here after seeing it on a recent Eater list of best Dublin spots and was not disappointed. Inside there’s a nice hidden away feeling; the design and layout are low light and intimate cool. Tables outside put you right in the flow of things, a good option for people watching. Tastes of the wines on the list are offered but you may need to ask. Emphasis on near-natural (minimal intervention) wines, so if it’s funky you’re after you’ll find it. Also on the menu: three vermouths over ice, which is nice, you can drink like they do in Spain. Prices are moderate to high. Paris this is not. Every glass will set you back in the double digits, which is pretty common for Dublin ITE. There’s a small but well done selection of nibbles for the peckish in your group. Big green olives (not bad), boiled almonds (addictive), charcuterie (delicious).

Loved this place!! Can’t wait to go back. The food was a 5 course set tasting menu. Absolutely superb, genuinely enjoyed every course. Portions are on the smaller side (so maybe don’t go if you’re starving or have a particularly big appetite) but altogether felt nicely full by the end. Courses were spaced out really nicely so it just felt like a really lovely relaxed evening out enjoying a few glasses of wine and chatting with friends. The server apologised at one point that the food was taking a bit longer than usual but we didn’t even notice! Offered us some nibbles to keep us going which was a nice tough. Lovely chilled vibe around a giant kitchen island type counter with high stools. Excellent service and experience overall, highly recommend.

Great little bar with yes a restricted menu but that’s the whole point: it’s a wine bar for an aperitivo and a few dishes to open the appetite
