"Listed as one of the best pizzas in America by the Washington Post, the pies at Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana emerge from a nearly 1,000-degree wood-burning oven built in Naples by Stefano Ferrara. Three generations of pizzaiolos continue churning out classic margherita pizzas and the Fuoco pie, which is topped with mozzarella, prosciutto crudo, arugula, and shaved Parmigiano, and drizzled with truffle oil. A mozzarella bar is stocked weekly with cheese imported from Caserta, Italy." - Jenn Tanaka

"Fuoco Pizzeria brings a taste of Naples to Orange County. The shop’s name is fitting (fuoco is the term for fire in Italian) as the pizzeria’s oven burns at 1000 degrees. As a family-run institution, Fuoco has been serving Napoletana pizza in Fullerton for 12 years but has recipes that go back three generations. The simplicity of the margherita pizza enables the charred crust to shine. The Vespa is topped with mozzarella, roasted garlic, pepperoni, goat cheese, then drizzled with homemade spicy honey once it’s out of the oven." - Cathy Park

Google
Best pizza that you can find. I used to work at a pizza shop so I look for high quality pizza and this place is the one you need to go to for the best quality, taste, and texture of food. The pizza here is in my top 3 favorite places for pizza in the nation. The service here is phenomenal. Absolutely worth it to come here. If you’ve been thinking about coming here then go because you won’t regret it.

Google
This was the most authentic tasting pizza dough we've had since we dined in Naples, Italy. We loved the modern choices of toppings fused with the authentic tasting dough. The slightly charred cooking method couldn't have been better and really brought out all the flavors magnificently.

Google
Service 5/5. Food 5/5. House Salad: large salad with olives and tomatoes. Contandina Pizza, Capricciosa Pizza & Classic Calzone. All 5/5. Definitely recommend and we arrived around 7 pm and wasn't as busy and promptly seated. However when we left, there was a big wait and understandably so.

Google
Pretty good brick oven pizza with chewy dough and quality cheese fresh greens and toppings. Traditional but quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. I had the fuoco pizza. I will try their more interesting menu items next time. There is free parking in the back. Wasn't too hard to get parking but I can imagine it being difficult on weekend rush hours.

If you like pizza that is crispy on the outside and soggy in the middle, this place is for you. Both of our pizzas had highly quality ingredients, but the watery red sauce on my hubby's pizza and the watery hot honey on my pizza made both pizzas almost inedible. We took the rest of our pizzas to go, but didn't eat the mushy leftovers. We've eaten lots of Napoletano pizzas, including in Napoli (Naples), and this pizza was way far off the mark.

Google
I usually order a margherita pizza when eating pizzas and unfortunately ours felt a little under cooked. The flavor was good, but the crust was kind of doughy and the center was soggy. I guess we were expecting it crispier. I think I'd try this place again but I don't think I'll be in a rush to go back yet.

The service and food were exceptional! Went here to meet up with friends and we all enjoyed ourselves so much. The staff was attentive, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was spectacular. I ordered a pizza (sorry can’t remember the name but the photo is attached) and we also tried the caprese appetizer, both of which were soooo delicious. Definitely will be back, I really recommend!! (Photo includes the Moscow mule which was suuuper yummy too)

Awesome pizza place located in downtown Fullerton, Ca. First time eating there. Just come eat, relax, then walk around the downtown area. Nice atmosphere on a Saturday evening. The place was packed! There is no private parking available, only street parking. We parked on Pomona street and just walked about a block and crossed the street. About a 2-3 minute pleasant walk! The place was packed. But still, it was only about 10-15 minute wait. Not bad. Nice atmosphere inside, a bit loud to my taste but it was still cool, not too crazy loud. Lots of choices. We ordered four different 12” pizzas and then shared lol. We took some home. Definitely a place worth exploring. Worth the drive. The pizzas were excellent. Amazing flavor, just the perfect crispness. Good amount of toppings, cheese, and tomato sauce. Pricey (I thought), but it’s worth the try.

Yelp
Authentic Italian Pizza alert! It was so nice after being in Italy for a couple of days that I get to have more Italian pizza! This time, it is actually in the states. It was quite random that we discovered this place while stumbling through Downtown Fullerton. The staff here were super nice! There was a local Rams game being played on the TV so there definitely some spectators in the house. There seems to be ample room at this restaurant but also noticed a sign where there is a courtesy 90 minute loitering sign. I guess this place is so popular that people hang out here for more than 90 minutes. We had the Quattro Salumi which was really delicious. It contained 4 types of meats including salami, sausage, prosciutto cotto, and prosciutto crudo.

Yelp
This popular pizza joint gets packed pretty quickly. We arrived around 5:30 pm with a group of five and were immediately met with a full house. The service was a bit of a mixed bag, earning a 2.5 out of 5 rating. Initially, one of the waitresses refused to seat us at a table that could comfortably accommodate our group of six. She insisted on squeezing us into a table for four, but thankfully, the host gave us the green light to use the larger table. Our server seemed preoccupied and took a while to take our order. To make matters worse, he completely forgot about the drink we had ordered. The ambiance (2.5/5) was also a bit of a letdown. The restaurant tries to cram people in, which means there's not much room to move around. Servers kept bumping into our chairs, making it difficult to enjoy our meal. The atmosphere was casual and loud, which is typical of this type of establishment. Now, let's talk about the food (3.5/5). The pizza was good, but it wasn't particularly impressive. It lacked flavor, even for the drinks. I would say this place is worth a try if you're in the neighborhood, but not worth going out of your way for.

Yelp
Came on a busy night. Maybe bcos nfl game was on or maybe because the pizza here were delicious. After tasting them I'd say it was because of the latter. Second time coming here. There's something yummy about pizza coming out from the oven n eat them right away. Their pizza dough was soft, not those typical ones where it was dry n hard. We ordered 4 kinds of pizza. All were delicious in their own way. But if I had to pick something negative I'd would say the "black truffle" was not worth the price n it was the worst of the best.

Yelp
I have had Fuoco Pizzeria Napolotana bookmarked for a while. We went with friends to the Pizzeria. It was a busy Saturday night, so there was a waitlist. It took around half an hour until they called us, which was okay. There were ample of parking spots, either behind the restaurant or in the street. The Pizzeria has modern vibes. They also have the raditional brick oven which adds to the authentic ambience of the restaurant. The menu includes calzone, panini, pizza, in addition to Gelato and desserts. We were focusing on trying their pizza. We ordered the following; -Affumicata 5/5 Somked mozzarella, Tomato sauce and roasted mushrooms -Contadina 5/5 Mozzarella, crumbled Italian sausage, bell peppers, and portobello mushrooms -Quatro stagioni 5/5 Four sections pizza, Prosciutto, roasted mushrooms, ricotta , mozzarella and tomato sauce -Funghi e salsiccia 5/5 Tomato sauce, mozzarella, roasted mushrooms and crumbled Italian sausage -Vespa 5/5 Goat cheese, mozzarella, cup-n- char pepperoni, whole roasted garlic, topped with house made spicy honey -Cappricciosa 5/5 Tomato sauce, Prosciutto, kalamata olives, artichoke, and roasted mushrooms These are the restaurant's descriptions for each pizza. We ended up sharing a piece from each to try them all, which was such a great idea! The crust had perfect texture, the ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. We ordered cannoli to go. Their Cannoli is a must! It has a golden crispy shell, filled with creamy and perfectly sweet filling with additional chocolate chips which enrich the flavor The service was top notch. We had the best time at Fuoco Pizzeria Napolotana. For sure we will come back again.

Yelp
I recently had the chance to eat at here and while it was a pleasant experience overall, the food just didn't hit for me. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff was friendly always checking in on you. I ordered the Rocco's Pie without ricotta , and while the toppings were flavorful and fresh, the crust and bottom was softer than I prefer. Neapolitan-style pizzas are known for their soft crusts, but it didn't quite match my personal taste. The restaurant's popularity is pretty obvious, as there was a considerable wait for a table, and parking in the area was challenging. Considering these factors, along with my preference for a different pizza crust texture, I would still say you should try this place as you might end up enjoying it. For those who appreciate authentic Neapolitan-style pizza with a soft crust, Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana could be a great choice. However, if you prefer a crispier crust, it might not fully meet your expectations.

Yelp
I've been here twice now. The first time was during the weekend in the early afternoon and the second time was Thursday evening. The first time there was no wait and the second time we waited about 30 minutes. We had decided to try this place out since we had just returned from a trip to Italy and we were missing the food. I'd say this is as authentic as it gets! We ordered 2 different pizzas and an appetizer. The food doesn't take long to come out and the servers have always been quick and nice. There's a hallway in the back that has benches you can sit on it you're waiting to be called.

Yelp
Still delicious with genuine Italian guy making pies! - Liked the Contadina better than the Bianca today. Basically tomato sauce, crumbled sausage, mushrooms and roasted bell pepper vs. no sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic and stacked with baby arugula. The roasted red pepper just made the Contadina sing with flavor!

Carley R.

Yelp
I went here for the first time for a girls night out. I was amazed that they make everything in house, everything tastes incredibly fresh. On a whim I went with a sauce-less pizza, but it was so so good. Our waiter was fun and gave us extra bread for our burrata appy. Trying to convince my boyfriend to take me here soon!

Mojo S.

Yelp
I'd heard about this place from two different people, describing it as some of the best pies in Southern California. Sufficed to say that made me curious as to how good it could be. It turns out to be some pretty good pizza. It reminded me of the gourmet pizza on my last cruise with the fresh produce, made-to-order, and awesome dough where the lines routinely took 30-40 minutes to get through. The pie I had today was amazing. It was themed after the four seasons and had such a good blend of ingredients that it's a definite contender for a repeat order in the future. Although the server made the house specialty Ragu pie sound awfully enticing as well. At any rate, I'm coming pie so there'll be time to try a few more choices for sure.

Yelp
Having been to Italy on several occasions, I must admit that nothing beats Pizza Napoletana, even in Rome, the pizza was amazing. With Fuoco being a member of the ASSOCIAZIONE VERACE PIZZA NAPOLETANA, you know that the quality will be as authentic as Wisconsin Cheddar! Being gluten free, lends itself to cardboard style crusts that crunch like chicharones (which would be interesting) finding a gluten free pizza that would mimic that of Naples is usually a miss than a hit. Fuoco not only makes true authentic Neapolitan Pizza, they make an amazing gluten free version that is amazing as well. The service is always great and attentive, never lacking a smile or lacking in providing anything at all. The vibe is real lively when it's crowded and the aesthetic is very nice. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience, look no further than Fuoco! Ciao!

Jasmine N.

Yelp
I wish it wasn't such a pain going to downtown Fullerton, because Fuoco is so good. I went here in person a few times, but I soon realized I needed privacy to fully enjoy this decadent pizza. It's not cheap, which is the only thing keeping me from eating Fuoco daily, but it's so worth it. If you physically go in, I believe they do Margherita Wednesdays, where you get a margherita pizza for $5 with a purchase of any regular pizza. My favorites here are the Fuoco pizza, the prosciutto e fichi pizza, and the CANNOLI. I never thought I'd enjoy something hitting the back of my throat, but WOW. I think about their cannolis The margherita is great. Classic, delicious. I also tried the contadina, which is good, but not bougee enough for me haha. They have a chili oil that's also super good to drizzle over the pizza. The wine here is also good. We tried the old soul Pinot noir, as well as the crossings Sauvignon blanc. I should call them...

Brandon N.

Yelp
What I ordered: - Fuoco (top left) - Margherita (bottom) - Diavola (top right) The prosciutto-arugula combination of the Fuoco was the perfect contrast of saltiness and bitterness with the truffle oil providing extra umami. The Margherita was very solid but nothing spectacular; however, you can definitely taste the difference in quality of their tomatoes and mozzarella compared to other pizza spots. The Diavola was essentially the Margherita with salami that provided a kick of spice and crispy texture. This is not the best pizza I have tried, but this is the best in OC as of now. It's traditional to eat Neapolitan pizzas with a fork and knife but they will slice it for you. They are also known to be soggy/soupy in the middle due to the short cooking time and moisture from the mozzarella, so flip the tip of the pizza towards the middle and fold the slice in half to enjoy!

Kayden C.

Yelp
rich pizza! got the black truffle and would recommend! personally would love if it had ricotta (possibly opting for the black truffle ricotta next time!) bf loved his red sauce pizza with pepperoni and others (can't remember the name) nice helpful service, took a bit longer than we thought but it was a Sunday afternoon. also, gave us more time to talk so that was a plus! love the booths for conversation and environment is perfect for a casual date night or lunch!!! will be back for some italian in the future !!:)

Josh S.

Yelp
Everything here is outstanding! But its still so hard to deviate from my past favorites! I'm cursed! Stay back!!! Also try the Susumaniello! You'll love it!

Melina A.

Yelp
The pizza was amazing!! Came out so fast and the service was great. It was very loud inside, due to there being a big party going on. I'm sure it's quieter. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
Fuoco is a great dining experience! The authentic Italian dishes with fresh dough are outstanding! The service was great. We stopped here on a busy Saturday night and we were able to order and eat in about an hour. Our servers were great and very attentive. The restaurant is family friendly and was packed with groups of people. It feels like a nice place to take a large group. The food was fantastic! The pizzas were fresh and authentic tasting. I ordered the Diavola, a personal favorite of mine, and the spicy salami was great and the dough is to die for. We also ordered the cheese sampler and the focaccia was also great. We had to finish to off with the Nutella pizza for dessert and it did not disappoint. I already can't wait to go back and try another pizza.

Afsaneh A.

Yelp
This place was packed but we were seated quickly. Friendly staff and easy to read menus, with lots of great options. The pizza dough was super good, fresh and light. The pizza was really delicious and bursting with flavor. Would recommend getting the one with prosciutto as it added a great salty/ smoked flavor. Also they said they have a chocolate dessert pizza - which I was sad that we were too full to order. Next time I will plan better so we have space for the dessert pizza! Gotta come back to try it!

Alexis C.

Yelp
Decided to try Fuoco one night when I was craving pizza but didn't want anything from a chain. It was very busy inside but we were sat right away. The food was amazing, I especially loved the Bianca pizza. Lots of great options here, so we are very excited to go back and try more!

Caralynne J.

Yelp
Went for margherita Monday $5 deal. I their the pizzas were going to be a lot smaller like a personal so I ended up phone ordering for 3 pizzas for me and another. It's in downtown Fullerton, so street parking but had not issues finding something and walking a block or two. I phoned in because I thought it might be a long wait and no dine in service based on the other reviews. But by the time we got there, seats were definitely open! They allowed us to sit and eat our pizzas there. I wanted to eat them fresh!!!! All the pizzas were pretty yummy & I love wood fire pizza! I do thing they were a tad bit undercooked & doughier than we'd like and wanted more crisp. But still yummy and kept eating them the next couple of days for work!! Margherita - opted to add extra basil bc in the pics I saw it was a small amount in the middle normally. (Costed $1) was a good pizza def would've been sad if there wasn't the extra basil. Diavola - Tomato sauce, mozzarella, salame piccante, basil, extra virgin olive oil + hot honey! (Also $1 lol but so worth!) my favorite pizza of the 3. Fuoco -Mozzarella, prosciutto crudo, arugula, shaved parmigiano, truffle oil (No tomato sauce) Yummy and definitely a more rich pizza! Good amount of prosciutto on it. I'd come back and try another pizza or get the diavola again!

Alvin L.

Yelp
The Pizzas are AMAZING. Dough is soft and doesn't make you feel like falling asleep halfway through. The ingredients are top quality and the food comes out fresh. They dont make you feel like you need to be rushed out so I love that i can take my time to enjoy the food! They mention on the menu you should request to have the pizza cut because traditionally it doesnt come sliced. I forgot but in my experience, it has arrives pre sliced (which i prefer). If i were to nitpick it would be the service - its nothing memorable. During both visits (one when they were busy and one when they werent) servers didnt really pay much attention to you after they take your order. No water refills until we were about ready to leave and honestly could have just used a kiosk to take my order the way they approached us. But as i said, that just nitpicking.

Brittany A.

Yelp
My husband and I visited on a busy Thursday night and sat at the bar. The staff were clearly stretched thin, and though I noticed some bickering between them, all of my interactions with them were kind and professional. We ordered the "Focaccia Romantica," Il Fuoco pizza, and two glasses of red wine. The wine tasted flat, as if it had been open too long--not ideal, but I wasn't there for the wine, so it wasn't a big deal. The "focaccia" was the biggest surprise. I expected fluffy, savory bread, but what arrived was identical to their pizzas in appearance, texture, and flavor. When I asked, the waiter explained it was "traditional Neapolitan focaccia," but it didn't match what my expectation of focaccia was when I ordered and I still find it hard to believe that focaccia is supposed to be thin, charred, and chewy like a Neapolitan pizza. Overall, the Fuoco pizza was flavorful, and their dough is well-made, but the miscommunication around the focaccia, combined with the wine and overall stressful atmosphere, made the experience a bit underwhelming. I'm not sure I'd return, but I appreciate the effort from the staff on a busy night.

Erin S.

Yelp
First time here. Walked in and initially was disappointed because we didn't get too much attention but I think maybe they were changing shifts? Either way they made up for it when the food came. The place is super cute and clean. The salad was phenomenal, loved the combination. Pizza was the most unique. Highly recommend the spicy pizza sauce. Super flavorful.

Andrian T.

Yelp
Best pizza around. Not stuffy and Hollywood. Family friendly and always get seated promptly. My family and used to go almost every other weekend when we lived close but now at least every month. Worth the hr drive from Rancho Cucamonga. Pizza is ALWAYS delicious! It's all about the dough and fresh ingredients. I try to get some different Everytime and everything is good - romana, burrata, and Vespa! The Margherita with pepperoni is my wife's go to! 10 starts for FUOCO!

Shanin Z.

Yelp
I want to add a review for those looking for delicious Gluten-free pizza! Others can tell gig the regular stuff is amazing, the service is wonderful, and it's in a great location. I'll add that I have celiac and can eat here safely. They are very aware and careful, even using a separate pizza cutter than the one for regular pizza. I highly recommend Fuoco!

Irisa M.

Yelp
Fuoco has been a family favorite for years, and it's our go-to place when we just don't feel like cooking that night. We love their Margherita Mondays, where you get a $5 Margherita pizza with the purchase of any other pizza (and you can always take that $5 pizza to go!). I also enjoy their espresso martinis, though I usually ask for regular vodka instead of the vanilla. We always start with the Black Truffle Ricotta antipasti which is the absolute best! Our favorite pizza is the Diavola, but recently I've been obsessed with the Vespa with mozzarella, roasted garlic, cup-and-char pepperoni, goat cheese, homemade spicy honey. I'm not a fan of the goat cheese so I swap it for ricotta, and it's sooooo delicious that way. A couple of tips: they don't take reservations, so it's best to get there early if you're with a larger group. Also, since it's Neapolitan-style pizza, be sure to ask for it to be cut into slices if you prefer not to eat it with a fork and knife. And definitely ask for their chili oil--it's a perfect addition to any pizza. It's a great spot with consistent quality, and we always leave absolutely stuffed!

Brianne L.

Yelp
Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Came here after seeing a few friends post about it on social media, and I am so happy I did! Parking can be kind of a mess in downtown Fullerton, but if you don't mind walking, you will be able to find parking, as there is also a large structure at the train station in addition to the lots and street parking. Came up in and was seated promptly with menus. They have a pretty extensive menu for pizza and appetizers, so there is a lot to choose from. We ordered the Mozarella bar with three cheese, which was served on a bed of arugula with cherry tomatoes, focaccia and pesto. Honestly, it was very good. The burrata was my favorite to pair with ththe focaccia and the other cheeses were very good. I also ordered the Chianti reserve wine, and it was a perfect table wine for dinner. For my main I ordered the Diavolo with hot honey as per the recommendation of the waitress. It was so good. Highly recommend. It wasn't the prettiest pie I've ever seen, but boy was it delicious. The 1 point knockdown for the service was that after we were done, it was very difficult to flag someone down to get the check and boxes. Overall, this place was very good and I would 100% return. Do yourself a favor and come check it out!

Valerie D.

Yelp
Parking can be tough as the lot is shared by many businesses. The restaurant is clean and smells like fresh wood fire pizza. The service was fantastic. Really friendly and we were checked on, often. The pizza was truly some of the best we've had. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside. The ingredients were super fresh and high quality. The salad was beautiful and tasted fresh and light. Deserves the high ratings. We will be back.

Carol W.

Yelp
Pizza is one of those things that honestly, is so difficult to perfect as there are so many crust, topping and cooking combinations. Fuoko (fire in Italian) clearly has many, many fans of their individual sized (12") Neapolitan pizzas, traditionally eaten with a fork and knife. For me, an amazing slice of pizza is all about the crust, since the toppings is a genuine reflection of taste preference. The perfect pizza for me has a thin crust, can be picked up and eaten with your hands without all the toppings falling off, and a crust that despite being crispy on the outside, still has some chew! While I loved the quality and taste of the toppings, the crust at Fuoko came up a bit short for me. Despite a thin crust throughout, the center of the pizza was much softer than I preferred, and I struggled being able to eat the slice with my hands (although, to Fuoko's credit, they did disclaim their pizza is traditionally eaten with a fork and knife). I read on the back of their menu their pizza is cooked for only 90 seconds in an extremely hot pizza oven, following the traditional Neapolitan style, and I can corroborate their cook times, as our pizzas were served in what felt like a blink of an eye! As you can see in my photos, there is beautiful charring all along the crust, as well as on the underside of the pizza, and it provides additional depth of flavor, if not just a liiiitle bit too much for me. While I personally would not come back again for the reasons above, my husband was in stark disagreement with me, as he LOVED the traditional Neapolitan style pizza. I encourage you to come try Fuoko for yourself!

Kristin S.

Yelp
My husband and I visit this place and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of pizzas and the sophisticated flavors they offered. Seating is very tricky, so big parties need to call ahead or make a reservation. Service was attentive and kind.

Pauline R.

Yelp
Service was quick and friendly. Pizza options were unique and authentic, a lot of appetizer and dessert options. The Fuoco pie was great, the cup pepperonis were yummy, cheese and tomato sauce were delicious. The Vespa pizza was interesting and unique, spicy honey, minerals; and goat cheese, with no tomato sauce. I'm a sucker for tomato sauce on pizza, so it wasn't my favorite, but the flavors were great. The goat cheese was balanced well by the honey. The honey was new to me, however, slightly too sweet. I think it was fun to try, but I would try something else next time. I think it's a great pizza, just not for my taste buds! The pizza is very soft/undercooked in the center. All the toppings fall to the bottom of the slice when trying to eat it, making the toppings unbalanced per slice. Maybe there's an option to ask for it to be cooked longer? But then the dough wouldn't be as chewy and doughy. Not sure, but would have liked the center told the pizzas to be less gooey so I can actually pick the pizza up. Regardless, I look forwards to trying other pizzas on their menu.

Kristy N.

Yelp
Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana in Fullerton is hands down the best spot for authentic Neapolitan pizza! The flavors are incredible, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. The crust is perfectly charred, light, and airy, just like it should be, and the toppings are top-notch quality. You can tell they take pride in delivering a true Italian experience. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it even better. Highly recommend if you're craving an authentic pizza experience!

Yelp
Great Italian restaurant in Fullerton! Got a salad and pizza for $38. 6 pieces total in the pizza. Server and bus boys were ON IT! Jordan was sweet. Food came fast. Will come back to try other pizzas.

Monica C.

Yelp
Simple: Great, authentic Neapolitan pizza with great service from the workers. Never too crowded, but it could get crowded during the weekends. Calm environment for you to hang out with friends and have lunch or dinner.

Scott B.

Yelp
Went here on a Thursday afternoon and to our surprise it wasn't busy at all. Went between lunch and dinner so missed any lunch and dinner crowd so I shouldn't have been as surprised as I was. Pizza is very good, cooked very well. The pizzas were made incredibly fast. One caveat I would point out is that sauce is a little sweet and very distinctive. We liked it but not everyone would. If in area worth checking out for sure.

Veronica G.

Yelp
When I want pizza that's authentic and reminds me of Italy, I go to Fuoco. No other place like it in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Linh N.

Yelp
Amazing pizza. You can taste the freshness of the dough, very airy. Service was great and quick.

Yelp
I had been hearing about Fuoco pizza for quite some time. Come a hungry Friday evening and it was time to stop by with a friend. Overall we really enjoyed the food. No wait on a Friday around 530 which was nice. The restaurant was just about to be full and we were one of the last pairs in the door without a wait. It was buzzing with people enjoying their food. A nice vibe for eating a meal. My friend got the barrel aged Negroni, it was good. I didn't get a cocktail this time, sadly. We got two different pizzas. One with pepperoni and hot honey that was the real standout. The other had artichokes and olives plus other goodies. Unfortunately I don't remember the exact names of either - but you can see them in the attached photo. The crust was exceptional and all of the flavors really stood out. We also had a salad from the selection on the menu that was very enjoyable with mixed greens and what I think might've been sliced pear? Only downside was that after dropping off our entrees our waiter disappeared through the end of the meal, and someone random dropped off and processed our check. (He wasn't on break, saw him hopping around helping other tables) - not a huge deal but left something to be desired. Will definitely be returning, I'm sure the little service blip was an anomaly.

Yelp
Always love it here! One of our favorites over the yeas! Definitely always taste like Italy! I love the Vesuvius pizza! Never disappoints! The flavors of spicy with with the sweet honey and touch of basil so good! Service is always excellent! Love the sparkling water especially because it is the same brand I had in Rome back in 2009. We tried the calzone and it's pretty heavy gonna stick to the pizzas! Always busy but efficient.

Yelp
It was an okay experience. We had a quirky waitress and the food was alright. Not my favorite type of pizza but I still enjoyed it! The vibes are mixed, romantic, casual, semi-formal. Definitely a bit expensive but I would recommend a try.

Yelp
Food quality, service and ambiance all make Fuoco a great choice for dinner. We have been in twice now when we visit Fullerton and they never disappoint. Their pizza is made in a wood fired oven, their dough is good quality and easily digestible, their cheese and tomato sauce is imported from Italy. I'm gluten sensitive and I'm able to tolerate their pizza without issue. We have tried several pizzas from their menu now and they do not disappoint. Their fresh mozzarella appetizer is a must!

Yelp
This is probably one of the best pizzas I have had in the US. It reminds me of the authentic pizzas I had when I was on vacation in Italy. Their chili oil that they make also elevates the pizzas really well. For sure will be back and recommend it to friends and family

Yelp
Burrata was amazing! Especially with the pesto and focaccia it came with. Everything came out so fast which was good because we were starving. Only bad thing is the table was too small to hold all the pizzas. The Nutella pizza was hands down the best. Taste was delicious and the different textures were amazing. Service was great too.

Yelp
Great authentic pizza that's very similar to ones served in Italy. The dough is very thin, light, and has a chewy texture. The only difference is that some toppings are catered for American customers such as chicken sausage, black truffles or adding honey on pepperoni pizzas. We ordered three different type of pizzas. All the pizzas were delicious and tasty. My favorite is the classic tomato sauce with mozzarella, basil, and prosciutto and sausage. They also have salads. Salads were basic but good. It's a pizzeria that is first come first served. It was super crowded, packed, tight and loud. We signed on the waiting list and then waited for about 30 minutes for a table. We kept checking in with the hostess just in case the she forgot about us. Service was very nice. Staff were very quick and also attentive, knowing the fast turnaround of their business. If you don't want to wait for a long line, maybe go on weekday when it's less busy. I personally would come back here for takeout.

Yelp
I ate at this pizzeria on a weekday evening with some friends and had a feast with no particular occasion. We ordered three pizzas and a dessert pizza to share. The Fuoco pizza, a house special, was a solid 9/10--fresh and perfectly balanced with the arugula. The Vespa pizza was an 8/10, very flavorful and garlicky. The Rocco's Pie was savory and tangy with incredibly fresh ricotta, which was absolutely delicious. The Nutella pizza topped off our meal perfectly; as a dessert pizza lover, I give it a 10/10. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with amazing pizzas!!

Yelp
Yummmmm! I enjoyed my first experience here at Fuoco. The ambiance was quaint and comfy, nothing too fancy or upscale. The service was quick and friendly. They do check up on you which is kind of rare these days... and lastly, the pizza! The pizzas we ordered were perfect! I enjoyed every bite. I wanted to finish the entire pie (which is quite rare)! But my mind reminded me that I am no youngin' any longer to be able to digest something that size in one sitting. haha. Anyways, tasty and fresh pies.. if you are in the area, this is the place to go for some good pizza pie!

Yelp
My girlfriend and I decided to take out her parents for Father's Day. It wasn't too too busy around 1130 but maybe we were a bit early. Food: - Black Truffle Ricotta 10/5 - Loved the honey and how soft the ricotta was. - Saracena - 5/5 - Loved the crunchy bits with the best tasting balsamic dressing. I could eat this everyday if I could! - Fig & Prosciutto Special - 4/5 - This wasnt on the menu as the server suggested it. It was pretty good with the sweetness of the figs but seemed like the dough was a little under? - Quattro Staggioni - 3/5 - It sounded better than it tasted. It was a little too much dough for me but I do like the design! Maybe definitely good for kids! - Rocco's Pie 4.5/5- Absolutely loved the flavors and everything tasted super fresh. Only knock was that it wasn't as hot as we wanted. Service: - I did see that the service could be slow but I think it wasn't too too bad since it was Father's Day so it's understandable (and I used to be a server also so I get it). Waters were kept filled up and she checked in with us 3 or 4 times! Overall, I think it was pretty solid! I'd come again to try some of the other pies like the funghi or the bufala. Maybe I'm more of a sauce guy but it's cool to experience real authentic style pizza only 15mins from us with a lot of parking as well.

Yelp
Very yummy pizza place in downtown Fullerton. We ordered the antipasto charcuterie appetizer, and it came with a variety of cheeses and meats. Would recommend if you have 2-4 people in your party. Also had one of the pizzas, and I really enjoyed the crust. This is a more authentic pizza spot, similar to what I had in trip to Italy last summer!
