Gemüse - Review - Montmartre - Paris - The Infatuation

"The name of this Berlin-style kebab shop is, fittingly, German for "vegetables"—and you’re going to eat a lot of them at Gemüse. While many other kebabiers focus on the meat, here, their house-marinated spit-roasted chicken plays backup to the roasted and raw carrots, peppers, zucchinis, and slaw that are packed into each sandwich. The housemade white sauce adds garlicky bliss, especially when paired with the spicy red harissa, while their sauce algérienne is a delicious play on Big Mac sauce. Whatever sandwich you choose, skip the wrap in favor of the sesame-studded bread that retains its structural integrity with every saucy bite. Service here moves fast, so don’t fear the line that usually goes around the corner." - Emily Monaco

One of our favourite meals in Paris! Our kids had gone on their last trip 2 years ago and said it was a must!We walked down to it after exploring the area ! Packed full of incredible ingredients ! We got the combo kebab with fries and drink for €12. Barely finished it ! The portions are very generous !

Really good and tasty kebab with nice staff. It only has outside eating but for a sunny day or take away is great!

Excellent kebab takeout (unless you're lucky to find a seat at the two small sidewalk tables) BUT it is only chicken meat (no lamb, pork, beef). The rolled kebab I had was tasty and not dripping as are some others, but it was not very big. Delicious however! Thank you

Delicious kebabs with options for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Great value for your money as they come extremely full, and don’t forget to take the homemade fries which are perfectly crispy and seasoned! Other reviews have mentioned the long line which is true but the wait was very short - they make them fast!

Best kebab I’ve ever eaten. Crispy pita, big variety of GRILLED vegetables inside, which made it stand out from all other kebabs I’ve had. Didn’t have as much meat or sauce as I expected but it didn’t matter. You also get delicious fries and a dip sauce of your choice if you choose the menu. Generous and hearty portions for a very good price, good guy as a cashier who, thankfully, could take our order in English. Definitely a must if you happen to pass by Montmartre!

There is always a very long queue outside of this tiny kebab restaurant. On top of local clients, I see kebabs fan around the world come here to try. And seriously, the food is really nice. All fresh. Meat are not fat. Lots of vegetables. The team is friendly even if they are very busy. There is a table out door for a nice chat with tourist. Montmartre and Sacré-coeur is just 5 walking minutes.

Service was efficient but it's always busy so be prepared to wait. The kebab was good and juicy but nothing exceptional. Would have it again though if I was around.
