Where to Eat Along America’s Iconic Highways | Eater

"If you’re traveling through the South, head to US-80, a major east-west highway that traverses Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Off the highway in Savannah awaits Geneva’s, a soul food spot run by its eponymous owner, Geneva Wade, that’s been open since 1983. Seafood gumbo, shrimp po’ boys, and Cajun fried turkey wings are on the menu, but save room for juicy, crispy fried chicken and plenty of hearty sides. Homemade strawberry lemonade helps wash it all down, while banana pudding adds a sweet finish for dessert. Grab a few loaves of house-made cornbread and spreads for a road snack." - Vox Creative

I ordered the two piece snack, dark meat. It had a nice crisp skin to it. The meat was tender and juicy. I also liked that it wasn’t too salty. Very good! Other things to note: they didn’t open until 11:30 because of staffing issues. I noticed another review mentioned this, so it may be a recurring issue. Also, there is no seating unless you have a sit-down meal.

Google
Everything here is amazing! Nothing on the menu is a bad choice. The chicken, the catfish filets, salmon croquettes, fried pork chops, turkey wings, meatloaf, whatever you get you will love. The sides aren’t slouching either, all amazing! Especially those candied yams that would make me betray my grandma. Shouts out to DeAndre for his fantastic service. I’ve had this food more than once but my in-house experience was so good.

Google
The food was delicious! The service was incredible! The restaurant was super clean. Everything was in order but please take that with a grain of salt because I was the first customer that morning so obviously the servers hadn’t had to deal with obnoxious customers, and the restaurant was still very clean because there was no one else there! The corn bread was dry.

Hands down, one of the BEST fried chicken meals I’ve ever had! 🍗🔥 We stopped by Geneva’s in Savannah, GA and ordered the 3-piece meal—chicken breast and two thighs. Juicy, crispy, and seasoned to perfection! I had the jalapeño cornbread 🌽🌶️ and mac n’ cheese 🧀 as sides—both were absolute hits. My wife Irene got the same chicken combo but with mashed potatoes and gravy 🥔🍗, and she loved every bite. To top it off, our server DeAndre showed us true Southern hospitality—friendly, attentive, and even surprised us with FREE cheesecake 🍰 when he found out we’re newlyweds 💍❤️. If you’re ever in Savannah, do NOT skip this spot. Geneva’s is a soul food gem that delivers on every level! 🙌🔥

Google
Best fried chicken on earth. Juicy, tender, and smokin’ hot! I went back twice while on my trip to Savannah, it was that good! The chicken and cornbread really does make you go “mmm!”. The staff made you feel like they’ve known you forever and delivered top notch personable service. Whether you’re in town for a day or for a week, go to Geneva’s!

Google
Terrible. Ordered the 2 piece fry bird meal. Requested a breast and wing. Received a back and was highly displeased. I informed the server who in turn, informed the woman who cooked the chicken. This woman came out trying to convince me that what I was given was a breast and asking me in an irate, sarcastic manner: "well, I just cooked that chicken, do you want me to cook another one!!??" I told her that I wasn't arguing over chicken and that they could take the whole meal back. She huffed off. I was then informed by the server that she was frying me another piece. Even though I didn't eat either piece, the rest of the meal was OK. I didn't care for the blueberry cornbread but the Mac and cheese was decent. Overall, the food is mid and overpriced. The server was pleasant but the older cook was brash and confrontational. A customer should never be handled in the manner in which I was. The chicken should have just been replaced without issue. This place needs to have their staff take a refresher course on customer service and conflict resolution. They're lacking in both areas. I can see why the place was rather empty. In conclusion, there are a plethora of better soul food places to visit in Savannah. Don't bother wasting your money here.

Google
So I will say this, you need to come early or before 7pm. I ordered the 3 piece with greenbeans and mac & cheese and the pecan cornbread. My son had ordered the 2 drums and mac & cheese with regular cornbread. However, they were out of drumsticks. And they substituted it with drumettes and wings. The chicken was juicy and had this crunch that perfect. With my sons chicken it was the same crunch and juiciness. You can tell that the oil is good oil and clean. The green beans were ok but the Mac & cheese was on point. The pecan cornbread could of use more pecan or chopped pecans inside the cornbread. The cornbread by itself is fantastic. Its moist and baked to perfection. This is definitely a spot that can be a 2 times a week spot. For sure I'll be trying the yams next time.

Google
The fried chicken is some of the best in Savannah. It is fried perfectly and seasoned well. The cornbread loaf, especially the blueberry one, is always hot and delicious. The mixed greens are just okay. Be careful with the special of the day because it can end up costing more than regular menu items. This happened with the turkey wings, and they were so tiny and not as flavorful as they should have been. Service is great and it's beautiful and clean in the restaurant.

Yelp
Not to be dramatic but Geneva's fried chicken was the best fried chicken I have had in my entire life! I got the mac and cheese and blueberry cornbread. Incredible! My son had oxtail which he said was the best he ever had too. This restaurant is at an unassuming location in a shopping center. It was so well decorated, organized and delicious we thought this might be a chain, but it is somehow the only one! Highly recommend! Oh! And not shown was banana pudding we got to go! Also delish!

Yelp
Worth Every Mile for Soul Food That Hits the Heart and the Soul While my husband was staying downtown in the historic River Street area, we had one craving: real, authentic soul food. And honey, Geneva's Famous Chicken more than delivered. We drove 20 minutes and I'd drive two hours if I had to. It's that good. Let's start with the fried chicken golden, crispy, seasoned to perfection, and juicy all the way through. The collard greens were tender and flavorful, the cornbread was just the right amount of sweet, and the oxtails with gravy, Fall-off-the-bone tender. And just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite... the desserts arrived. That Key Lime Pound Cake deserves its own spotlight, sweet and moist, and hands-down one of the best desserts I've had in the South. It truly set the standard. Geneva's isn't just a meal, it's an experience, it's comfort, and it's love on a plate. If you're in Savannah and craving soul food this is the spot.

Yelp
We got this on the way out! Never would have seen it in this strip mall location but was a great hidden gem, then come to find out that they have been cooking that amazing chicken for 30 years! Services was great. He came back several times to refill drinks while we were waiting for the chicken, does take a while because they are truly cooking that chicken fresh. Not a huge fan of all those spreads because they were frozen but that cornbread was amazing! Super cute decor that was very modern farmhouse.

Yelp
If you are ever on vacation in Savannah I recommend coming here. Great customer service and prices

Yelp
If you're in the mood for traditional southern food, this is the place! Located by Target, the restaurant is tucked in the strip mall with the super cool mural. Dine-in or order at the counter to-go. I recommend starting with the zucchini, super delish! It comes with a salsa dip - odd but good! The fried chicken is hot and crispy. The 2 piece meal is more than enough for me. It comes with your choice of white or dark meat chicken, a side and mini cornbread loaf. There's a long list of sides to choose from -- many are southern classics. As for the mini loafs, they have a handful of flavors to choose from (jalapeño, transitional, pecan, broccoli, etc).

Yelp
Be prepared to wait, but the wait is worth it. Everything we had was so good: chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, black bean salad, and the cornbread! We waited for 40 minutes after we ordered, every table was packed and there was a line for pick up orders. Clearly this place is loved!

Yelp
Paid a visit to this place while on a road trip from GA to FL. Excellent customer service and vibe! Food wise, I really enjoyed the chicken and sides...not so much the turkey wings. Was looking for more flavor. Otherwise, it was a great experience :)

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY LOVE GENEVAS My husband and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary here at Genevas for lunch straight off the highway from south Florida. Genevas is our first stop in Savannah always, period. The owners, Geneva and Kenny are an absolute gem to this community I'm so sad that they are not in Florida! Nothing compares to this I'm sorry. The chefs in the back know how to cook and season the chicken to perfection I've never had a bad experience and we come a couple times a year and every time we come it's like we were here just last week the hospitality is top notch. The chicken is cooked FRESH to order so yes it may take longer but it is out of this world. I can eat a three piece like it's no one's business the broccoli Apple slaw is my fav and go to but they have many other great side hard to chose

Yelp
Took a quick trip to Savannah for the weekend. This was hands down the best food we had while in Savannah and it wasn't even a fancy restaurant. They serve great southern style comfort foods. For two meals the price was only a fraction of the price we paid every where else. Service was great, and everything was well seasoned. I love supporting family owned restaurants. I would absolutely go back.

Yelp
My cajun turkey wings was tuff and not flavorful, however, it was temperature hot. Each time I visit here I have always ordered the turkey cajun wings,it just wasn't the best on this day. I asked for the premium sides upgrade, perhaps my waitress didn't hear me because the sides looked like regular sides. If you're dining inside and ask for a to go boxes, you might as well carry your food in your hands. I noticed they had decent size boxes for the to go orders. I will go back and try it again, I think it just probably was a bad day. The waitress wasn't that friendly, perhaps she was exhausted, I'm unsure. I think the next time, I will make a to go order. If you decide to dine inside, perhaps go during the early lunch hour may be best timing.

Yelp
Food was amazing! We all got a type of fried chicken (wings, sandwich, and fry bird.) Mac n cheese is flavorful. Green beans and mashed potatoes have that classic, southern home cooked flavor. Yams are perfectly sweet. Server was very attentive. We will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Stopped in on vacation towards the end of December 2024. My family and I were craving friend chicken. After reading a lot of reviews, we landed on Geneva's. We would all say with absolutely certainty we picked correctly. The chicken was perfectly crispy without feeling completely oil drenched. The sides were delicious and a perfect addition to the meal. I myself got the turkey leg special, of course everyone tried and loved. My only complaint is that we don't have one in my home town!

Yelp
Plenty of parking! Friendly greeting as soon as you walk in! The place is CLEAN...even the restroom, which is a big deal nowadays. Let's talk about the people and the food. #1 ANGEL was our server. Her personality was just as her name suggests. Super friendly, attentive, and patient. True southern hospitality. Thank you, Angel!!! #2 The food. We were a party of 11, so we got to try some of EVERYTHING. This place did not miss. Just check the pictures for yourself. Personally, i got oxtails, rice, green beans, and yams. Each meal came with a loaf of bread, where you could not only choose the loaf, but you could also choose the spread! I had a blueberry loaf with regular butter. All i needed was a pillow after I was finished. And all of the food was reasonably priced. Worth every penny!!! For drinks, try an Arnold Palmer or a Strawberry Lemonade. Ms. Geneva's daughter, Crystal, came out to greet us. She talked with us for a few minutes and was so pleasant. God bless this establishment on current and future endeavors.

Yelp
Parking Parking is abundant, it's in a strip mall. Restaurant Upon entering the restaurant we were promptly greeted by a nice gentleman. He was very welcoming. The restaurant was very clean,100 score, and tastefully decorated. I ordered a two piece and one side. I don't ever order a fried breast because they are always dry. OMG, when I say this breast was moist, it was to die for. The broccoli apple saw was amazing. We also ordered a fried turkey wing. Ok, this wing was just amazing. The food here is just simply amazing. We will return when back in Savannah.

Yelp
Excellent food and service, will go back again. So many great options with cornbread, sides, chicken and desserts
google avatar

Mikaela H.

Yelp
The JUICIEST chicken I've ever had! Crispy, crunchy on the outside and super moist on the inside. Cornbread and green beans were out of this world. The owner is also a very kind person based on our interaction with him. 10/10 you gotta try this place out.
google avatar

Yelp
Warm welcome upon entry. Professional and courteous service from staff. The food oh my the food! My mom cooked liked this most days and my family and I were raised on SOUL food. This was delicious. As close to moms as ever. I had fried chicken, cabbage, slaw, jalapeño cornbread and carrot cake. We're list mom about 2 years ago and the memories revoked by this food brought joyful tears to my eyes. Thanks to Ms. Geneva and staff for the awesome experience.

Yelp
I like to think I'm pretty easy going, but I was decided not happy with the service and attitude that we received from the staff here at Geneva's Famous. Tip: Even putting aside the poor service and attitude, the food we were served was undercooked and largely tasteless To add insult to injury, the staff seems to be downright rude - our server got upset when we weren't ready to order right away, and they rushed us to make up our minds - is that what people pay to go to restaurants for!? I might go back and give these folks another try down the road, but for right now I'm through with this place...
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent location in a shopping center, so lots of parking. Warm welcome and very cordial service. Food was delicious and meals arrived quickly. We had crab cakes. The sides were so tasty! The cornbread is legendary! My companion usually doesn't eat a whole meal, but she ate every bite! And we got cake to go!! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone--although it was very popular already--not crowded, but nicely full, both inside and outside.

Yelp
BEST FRIED CHICKEN IN GEORGIA! There was no way we could visit Savannah and not go back to Geneva's. The food is incredible, the service is great, and with the new expansion it's even more spacious and comfortable. Great conversations at the tables with other patrons and the staff, offset by this delicious food and you've got a win/win!

Yelp
Local fried chicken spot in Savannah. Searching a really good spot in Savannah I saw really good reviews for this place and decided to check it out. It looks small on the outside, but on the inside seating is quite huge and decorated nicely. However I was disappointed in how long it took me to get my to go order. Service isn't fast for a really popular chicken spot. But the wait was worth it because the chicken is delicious and the different cornbreads are worth trying!

Yelp
The Food is Amazing. Great Ambience. Great Customer Service. Our server Deandre was so hospitable. Arnold Palmers and Strawberry Lemonade were perfect. Fried chicken was amazing. Greens, cabbage, Mac n chz, cornbread, Po Boy, Country chicken with gravy, All the food was a Perfect 10. We will be back!!

Mike B.

Yelp
Best fried chicken I have ever had,,, crispy on the outside and very soft and moist in the inside, collard greens a little salty for me but I came for the chicken. I'd recommend this to everyone who loves fried chicken.

Claire O.

Yelp
My task-trained service dog and I were denied access to this restaurant on July 13th. Upon entering we were immediately told to leave as their "store policy" bans pets. I explained that she is a task-trained medical device and it is illegal under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Georgia state law to deny us access. I was told that their "store policy" bans all animals - including service dogs - and that federal and state law "didn't matter." This directly violates the Americans with Disabilities Act as well as Georgia service dog access laws. No "store policy" overrides federal or state law and discriminating against customers isn't just wrong, it is illegal.

Yelp
A friend took me here after I told her I wanted some good fried chicken. They had plenty of options on the menu the staff were very friendly and service was fast. I told our waiter that it was my first visit and he said "You"ll be back" and offered suggestions. He was right I will definitely be back everything was amazing! The table next to us also offered great conversation. The restaurant itself is light and airy not too big not too small, but the perfect ambiance. I could tell that Geneva's have a lot of regulars their call in orders were crazy so much so I asked when they were opening their second location and I was given an approximate date and location. I love this for them. Check it out you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
We decided to stop in and give it a try after hearing a family member rave about it. We were not disappointed! The first thing was walking in the door and being greeted buy the entire staff. We were overwhelmed by all the menu had to offer. Since we were pressed for time we grabbed someone the fried chicken. Louisiana rice and greens. The chicken is fresh and crispy and beautifully seasoned.we will be back

Yelp
So happy to have tried this spot when visiting Savannah for the 4th. My husband and I ordered fried chicken, a fried turkey wing, Mac and cheese, greens, potatoes logs, corn bread, a sweet tea, strawberry lemonade and banana pudding. Everything was absolutely delicious and when I say everything I mean it. This cute spot is a gem for southern food. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and the rest of the staff had wonderful customer service as well. Please take the time to venture over to this place for a meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Geneva's was a yelp find. Located in a strip mall near target and home depot. Service was tepid as the hostess seemed more interested in a conversation with a co-worker than helping seat customers. Waiter was great. Very attentive. Food was very good but a little slow to come out of the kitchen. I had fried chicken which was freshly fried and very crispy with a lite batter. Mac and cheese was 5 stars. Great cheesiness and flavor. Green beans were ok and badly needed seasoning. Mixed greens were ok and too salty. Restaurant ambiance is sort of industrial meets southern. Not too much character.
google avatar

Danielle V.

Yelp
Cute little place. Love how clean it is and welcoming. But our server Jaiden was great!! Came here due to all the review but I have to say I left a bit disappointed. The chicken was good but a bit over cooked and dry. The seasoning and flavor was great! Would not recommend the potato logs. I wish they were crispier. The seasoning is good but definitely needs salt! Not a fan of the jalapeño cornbread.
google avatar

Teh N.

Yelp
This place is absolutely divine. I mean you didn't need me to tell you how good the award-winning fried chicken and cornbread so I'll tell you about the service. That wholesome southern hospitality is top-tier. Our waitress was always on top it...and we had a large party with screaming kids. I can't rave enough about this place. Must stop in Savannah

Ken F.

Yelp
Great food and service. Best fried chicken and collard greens around. Our go to every time we are in town. Service was outstanding.

Yelp
Mediocre asf. Go to Zaby's save your money live better.. free game Bland food. Not flavorful at all but the customer service is immaculate

Yelp
So, while the picture may not show it one thing I don't do is lie on these reviews. The same guy who took the orders ahead of our table and walked away in my previous review was at the counter again. Geneva's was packed on a Sunday around 4pm like I knew they would be, so I opted for a slice of pound cake to go. While in the car I open the box, take my picture and then discover that there's a hair baked into the pound cake. I took it back in and told him, he said, "whose hair?" I told home I don't know his staff but it's baked into the pound cake. He didn't apologize and almost looked at me like it was my fault. I reluctantly switched to the replacement red velvet because there was no way I was getting another slice of pound cake. While the red velvet did have a good flavor, it was dry and not memorable. In my opinion the guy whose probably usually at the counter would be better off cleaning the bathrooms and taking out the trash because customer service is clearly not his area of expertise.
google avatar

Naakorkoi O.

Yelp
Geneva's smothered turkey is everything. The turkey is super tender with flavorful gravy, and the cornbread legit melts in your mouth. The mac and cheese is cheesy perfection, and the greens are seasoned just right. The staff is so kind and friendly! If you're looking for a cozy spot with tasty comfort food, this place hits the spot--10/10!

Yelp
The food is excellent! The restaurant is small. We ordered online and were scheduled to pick up at 2:30pm but we didn't receive our food until about 4:30pm. We received everything and it was hot and fresh. DO NOT go if you are in rush and it's busy. I dined in during this visit. This is the first time I encountered a restaurant with Table Service that requires you to pay before you receive your meal. The food was hot, fresh and tasty!

Yelp
WELL, my last review of this place I gave it 1 star. Terrible experience. But they have remodeled and I decided to try them again. I give them two stars because of the remodel. The pros: The remodel is great - BIG improvement. Chicken is still great! The cons: I asked for a cup of water. NOPE! You have to buy a bottle water. It is just an abomination that a sit-down restaurant doesn't have the common decency to serve a cup of water to their patrons. I'm not cheap. I just don't drink sodas or tea. I always ask for a cup of water. The service was slow and a joke! We laughed as the table next to us order potato logs and they were served a cup of logs without any logs..... just an empty cup. lol They screwed up my order and they misrepresented my friend's dish as having four chicken strips but only had two. And they did not deliver the mayo that she asked for. I had the crab soup as an appetizer. Not good! It had obviously been sitting in the cup for a while before it was served and had a skinned over surface and cold. And they definitely skimped on the crab meat! The sauce was watery and not thick and rich. Overall, GREAT CHICKEN, and now with the remodel a good atmosphere, but the service and lack of common decency just a big turnoff. I gave them a second try after the remodel. But not again! This is my last visit! It is a shame because I am an Uber driver and often recommend places to eat and visit. But Geneva's will be on my recommendations of places to stay away from. So many great restaurants in Savannah. BUT, Geneva's is not one of them.

Angel H.

Yelp
Food is always great and always fresh. Amazing chicken with crunchy but light crust and the squash casserole is always a hit. The sweet potatoes are great as well.
google avatar

Nancy O.

Yelp
Okay the food is good. The ambience is okay but quite a small place and very busy. Service is alright. But the menu says one thing but you pay for things that is suppose come with your order. Also they are pushing bottle water instead of giving you water with your meal. So if you going to have a meal be careful what you pay for. Gouging customers is wrong.

Yelp
By far the best fried chicken I've ever had. I'm in amazement over how thin and lightly battered yet so crispy this chicken was! It was unbelievably tender and seasoned perfectly. We did have to wait 20 mins for a table (very small seating area) and then another 20 mins for the meal itself. Trust me its worth the wait. The staff was kind and friendly, even the younger crew members. You really get a family owned vibe here. I had the 2pc Fry Bird Combo with a side of mac and cheese, it also came with a cornbread mini loaf. My husband got the the 3pc with mac and jalapeño cornbread mini loaf. The cornbread for both of us was okay, but I think we were underwhelmed due to the deliciousness of the chicken. It was good don't get me wrong but this place's chicken was unlike I've ever had. Next time we drive through Savannah, we will be making a pit stop for this place. Can't wait to try their other items, the crab cakes sounded delicious as well!

Yelp
We had just finished up a 5 star Bonaventure Cemetery tour with Genteel & Bard's. Ashley, an AMAZING GUIDE AND EDUCATOR, inquired after the tour if we had lunch plans. She graciously shared a new dining gem that she stated "as unbelievably good". Geneva's Famous Chicken and Cornbread is that must try place. It appears to be fairly new and ultra clean. On Saturday afternoon, it was busy. We were skeptical as we waited to order, but thrilled we followed Ashley's advice. I ordered three pieces of fried chicken with a side of green beans. My cornbread was blueberry with blueberry butter. My wife ordered chicken fingers and selected the broccoli/ apple slaw side and jalapeno cornbread. Our order took about 20 minutes but we quickly realized, don't mess with the chef. The chicken arrived piping hot. Geneva's cooks to order and does not warmed up partially cooked chicken. After the first bite, we understood our guides love for this place. The breading on the chicken was scrumptious, crispy, lightly salted and just DAMN GOOD. The sides complimented the chicken well. The amount of staff working here is huge. The older staff is working hard and staying busy. Two of the younger males were hanging out at the backdoor and chewing the fat during our entire meal. I wanted to ask about the history or story of Geneva's but could not get our young waiter to leave the back and engage us. This place is a gem and the owner needs to be applauded for taking a chance on a dream and more importantly, cooking great chicken. If we lived in the area, I would be telling everyone about the GREAT CHICKEN. Please keep up the drive and ambition with a stellar quality food and employing so many people. GREAT JOB AND FABULOUS FOOD!

Yelp
No matter when I dine at Genevas, the staff are always the best, they are friendly and polite, they give excellent service (not easy to find these days). The food is also great, never a disappointment. I went just before closing and was still treated like time did not matter. I love this place!

Yelp
Fried chicken does not get any better than this. Now you have to wait for your order to be cooked to order, but you are rewarded with the most flavorful, succulent (even the breast), crispy chicken. Sides are excellent (at least the greens and cole slaw, which we chose). Corn bread is wonderful. Service is as friendly as it gets. Try it!

If you want to elevate your lunch, skip the nearby Chic-fil-A and Zack's! Geneva's features all your Southern favorites. It's easy to miss this unassuming storefront restaurant in the same shopping center as Target. I didn't realize this gem of spot was here until a friend suggested we go for lunch. I'm not a huge fried chicken fan because most come heavily battered. Fortunately, they make a lightly battered fried chicken with just the right amount of seasoning and juiciness. My friend who goes here regularly usually gets their traditional fried chicken. Hers was as good as always. They offer several types of cornbread that come with really tasty spreads. I had the apple spread with plain cornbread; both were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and patient while I pondered my choices and answered my questions. Once we ordered, the food came out quickly despite how busy they were. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food they serve. I've already suggested this spot to others.

Yelp
This place was amazing. The chicken was amazing and the Yams?!! They were so good I was worried I might Dream about them. Our server Ms. Crystal was so great. My ONLY complaint was the barstool are not made for anyone with curves the seats are fairly small and cut into your backside. However, it's worth it for the food because it was some good old southern cooking and exactly what we were looking for.

Yelp
Packed!! Online orders out the door! Apparently, the entire community knows just how good their chicken is. Warm and cozy vibes, feels like you're eating dinner at the house. Very unique menu and an interesting selection of cornbread; the blueberry's a must try. This spot is definitely a hidden gem. Special thanks to our server, I can't remember his name, but he really went all out, and above and beyond for us.

Yelp
Mom wanted to try some fried chicken while in Savannah, and this place was the spot! Hot, crispy, moist chicken wings. Server was friendly and kind. Chicken wings and service were 10/10, mac n cheese 8/10, greens 6/10. I'd definitely come back if ever in Savannah!

Yelp
Friendly service and inside was clean. Met the owners Kenny and Geneva and they spent some time with us telling us about the history of the restaurant. We had the fried chicken and it was delicious. I would have to say it is the best we have ever had. The cornbread that came with the meal was also very good as were the side dishes (Yams and green beans). We will definitely be going back.
