The 15 Best Korean Barbecue Restaurants in Orange County | Eater LA

"If you’re a fan of variety, then Grams BBQ has got your back. Not only do they serve a plethora of cuts for its all-you-can-eat fare, Grams also offers unique meat options that can’t typically be found in Korean barbecue restaurants, such as Brazilian picanha-style top sirloin cap, marinated beef heart, and pork skin. Patrons frequently rave about its signature woo-de galbi — marinated Angus beef short rib off a large bone — as well as the wagyu cuts. Grams also aims to amplify trends in Korea by serving brands of drinks that are currently popular with younger crowds in Seoul, like Seoul Night soju and Won Mae plum wine. Though the wait here can get long, its hours may warrant a late-night visit." - Cathy Park

Walked in upon opening hours and received excellent service and quality meats. The premium menu A ($58.99 per person) is well worth it with the choice of unlimited wagyu cuts and other quality meats. Each round of meat you can order 4 cuts, and each portion comes with plenty of meat in a well–presented fashion. My favorite cuts were the seasoned boneless short ribs – each bite was tender, juicy and flavorful. The meat was not over seasoned so it was really enjoyable. The beef belly and brisket were also fatty and juicy – would recommend getting the unseasoned versions and dipping with Gochujang and garlic. The woode galbi is unique to Grams AYCE only and was interesting to try. It’s a bit chewy and has lots of fat more than I would like, but I would recommend customers to try it once. The sides were excellent – my favorite was the corn cheese didn’t have any mayo but tasted slightly sweet and very cheesy. The rice paper was cooked very well and sliced thinly – the perfect amount of chewiness and bounciness. The service was amazing (probably because it wasn’t that busy): the staff were very attentive and took our empty plates quickly and replaced any empty side dishes. They frequently came back to check in for additional orders or requests. Overall, the experience was enjoyable because it was not busy. Will definitely stop by next time in Westminster — only when it isn’t busy!

We walked in around 6pm and thank god it wasn’t busy cause around 6:30-7 it was hella packed! First time here and it was really good. They set up the table for you to eat before you sit down. I think we got the premium B. The meats and sides are really good. The only reason why I took off a star is because they need to treat their employees better. I believe the ones in red shirts are in management and the ones in black are regular staff. There was some sort of drama that day where the red shirt staff told the other person in the black shirt to quickly clean the table in a very rude tone. So more professionalism is much needed. As customers, we can hear and see everything.

Saw the pictures at this restaurant and it looked promising, so we went and tried it. No seafood is offered at this place. The meat is supposed to be premium quality for them to charge $38.99 per person. We ordered our normal cuts of meat, beef brisket, short ribs, ribeyes, large intestine and pork jowl, egg pudding along with king oyster mushrooms and yellow onions. The beef brisket is semi good not as tasty compared to other restaurants. Was expecting the hot fluffy steamed eggs and they only have the egg pudding. The side dishes were quite basic and nothing to rant about. They don't even have shredded spring onions. The attention from the servers are excellent even though they kept Turning/lowering our burner. The nice thing at this place you can order half order of everything so you don't waist food. We wanted to try some other cuts but didn't want too much, we asked if they can just give us two slices each and they did it. The places it not too smoky and you don't come out of the restaurant rigged with Korean BBQ.

Dined there on 9/6/25. Music is loud and the food is okay at best. This is a newer style of Korean BBQ like Gen, but the food isn't as high of quality and it's much more expensive. Their version of marinated short ribs (that are boneless 👎🏻) are not good. There's so much sauce that's all you'll taste and a good 40-45% of it was fat. The kimchi is way too fermented, so much so that's all you taste... fermentation. The kimchi pancakes are extremely tiny and not good. My mother-in-law (who's Korean) is used to traditional Korean BBQ restaurants, so she speaks Korean (she also speaks English) to the staff and just gets stared at because none of the them bother to say I don't understand or speak Korean. They just stare at her awkwardly in silence for minutes. Except for the staff constantly asking if there's anything you'd like to order every 5 minutes, overall the service was bad. During one of these occasions my wife asked for more spicy cucumbers (included with every meal). Well this girl (with a black & grey floral tattoo on her forearm) obliges; however, she picks up the old dish and takes it back with her. Here's why this is important; we stacked all the empty/used dishes on top of each other to make space at the small table. So this girl literally picked out the dish that had the cucumbers out of seven used dishes to go fill it with more cucumbers. Did she wash the dish? Who knows. Also she left the other six dishes on our table, rather than taking them all back to be washed. Later I asked the same girl for soy sauce for my rice. She passed us numerous times and never brought it. I then asked the male server who was there. He also kept doing other things. The girl comes back and asks if we'd like to order something else. I asked again for my soy sauce. She doesn't apologize or anything and the male server brings it to me as she starts to turn around. It took around 15 minutes to get soy sauce. By then my white rice is cold and a brick.

Food was great as always! Tried the premium lunch, great deal! Server forgot a few of our request/paid more attention to his friend. Took a while to get his attention. When he came by he was in a rush to leave.

Love Grams! This is my to go Korean BBQ place. The meat is delicious and well prepared. The service is also good, it can get very busy. I usually go here during the weekdays, and I love it when a specific server is there. He's so cute!!! Just like a Korean pop star!!! 🥰 oh, and the food is amazing! I was introduced to their cold noodles. It pairs perfectly with the meat.

We quite enjoyed our meal here. Let me start by saying the service is uber efficient at first but can at points somewhat forget you're there. But then meat themselves are pretty flavorful and come out quickly. The woode galbi is truly the higlight and could have eaten plenty of this. The other banchan were pretty standard, as were the dipping sauces. Fair pricing for AYCE. If you call ahead the wait isn't so bad. Definitely a solid option for AYCE BBQ.
