The 38 Best Restaurants in Phoenix | Eater Phoenix

"Don’t be deterred by the no-frills strip mall location. This cavernous and decidedly old-school Chinese restaurant is one of Phoenix’s best for classic Hong Kong-style dim sum. The requisite noodles, dumplings, buns, cakes, chicken feet, and spareribs are brought around on steam carts in endless succession. Be sure to try the restaurant’s famous shu mai (steamed pork and shrimp dumplings), and take an order to go if the impulse strikes. Best for: Classic dim sum service with carts, chaos, and dumplings that keep the table full and happy." - McConnell Quinn

The Best Chinese Restaurants Around Phoenix | Eater Phoenix

"Admittedly, this West Valley institution shows the wear-and-tear of 30+ years, but it’s still one of the best places in town for Hong Kong-style dim sum. A multitude of small Cantonese dishes — har gow (translucent shrimp dumplings); char siu bao (fluffy barbecue pork-stuffed buns); turnip cakes; and lotus leaf wraps (stuffed with chicken, pork, mushrooms and sticky steamed rice) — are served from laden carts trundled to each table. The noisy, bustling weekend brunch ends at 3 p.m. After that, customers order from a menu of Americanized favorites featuring crab Rangoon, Mongolian beef, and kung pao shrimp." - Nikki Buchanan

One of the best family dinners I’ve had in a while — Great Wall does not disappoint. Let’s start with the lobster yee mein — the noodles are imported straight from Hong Kong, and you can absolutely tell. They’re perfectly springy, soaked in the lobster’s rich sauce, and just full of umami. The lobster itself was fresh and tender, no rubbery texture at all. Easily the highlight of the night. But a surprise favorite was the ginger scallion frog. If you’ve never had frog before, this is the dish to try it. The meat was super tender and had that clean, slightly sweet flavor that’s often compared to chicken but even more delicate. The ginger, scallions, and light garlic sauce gave it so much depth without overpowering the natural taste of the frog. Cooked just right — no chewiness, no dryness, just flavorful bites all the way through. We also had classics like salt and pepper pork chops, sweet and sour pork, concubine chicken, fried rice, and stir-fried green beans. Everything came out hot and fresh, and portions were generous — great for sharing around a big lazy Susan. As for the service, it was excellent. The staff was super attentive without being pushy. Dishes arrived fast and in good order, and they were great about clearing plates and checking in just enough. You really felt like they cared about your experience, even though the place was busy. If you’re looking for an authentic Chinese banquet-style meal with quality ingredients and solid service, Great Wall should be at the top of your list. I’ll definitely be returning with friends and family again soon.

Google
Went for dimsum. It was delicious and very tasty. The shrimp and scallop dumpling wasnt worth the hype. The scallops were missing. The dimsums were served in the traditional push carts. The service was so so. We have to flag our wait staff each time we needed something, like refill the tea kettle, need chili sauce and to go boxes. Its a very busy place.

Google
What have I been doing with my life? Why haven't I been actively seeking out the Chinese Churasco experience that is dim sum? Could the earth be flat? I may have to question everything going forward if I haven't known about the miracle that is dim sum until this late stage in my life. I wasn't able to try everything I wanted to because there is just too much. I would advise pulling up the menu on your phone to be clear about what dish you want. This place is going to be a culinary ambassador for our out of town guests going forward and a staple in our rotation.

Google
This is my go-to spot for dim sum! The service can be hit or miss—it really depends on where you’re seated. That said, I keep coming back because the dim sum is consistently delicious. I’ve only tried their dim sum, and I highly recommend sampling everything that comes around on those carts! If you’ve never experienced dim sum before, you’re in for a real treat. Pro tip: go right when they open. The staff is more attentive, and the food is at its freshest, straight from the kitchen. Some must-tries: the chow mein, shrimp shumai, flat rice noodles with shrimp and sweet soy sauce, sticky rice, tripe, and chicken feet (an acquired taste, but worth trying).

Google
My family has been going here for decades. Food is authentic and excellent if you know what to order. The atmosphere is usually chaotic and crowded on weekends during dim sum hours, so keep that in mind if you’re easily overstimulated. We recently had from their regular menu the lobster stir-fried with ginger sauce (prepared with black bean sauce is tasty, too!), Peking duck, scallops with black bean sauce, salt and pepper fried chicken, steamed ginger sea bass, chicken chow mein, fried rice with BBQ pork/Chinese sausage, seafood soup with shrimp/tofu/egg flower/mushrooms, shrimp with walnuts and cream sauce (shrimp were gigantic!), and mixed veggies in a savory sauce. Because we couldn’t resist, we also grabbed some coconut buns, egg tarts (probably my favorite), and har gow from the dim sum carts. It was a fantastic birthday lunch! Edit: Added an extra photo with one of their lobster dishes - and my grandpa. This particular visit ended up being the last big celebration we were able to have with him before his passing. 🙏

This venue provides absolutely amazing dim sum options! Its char shao meat buns are irresistible and delicious 😋

Google
Went there for dim sum on a Sunday morning with 8 of my friends. You have to get there early because it gets crowded quickly. It’s the best dim sum in Phoenix.

Google
Coming from Vancouver where Chinese food and dim sum plentiful and known to be good, we went to Great Wall based on reviews and it lives up to its reviews. We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh everything tasted, we didn’t leave feeling thirsty or overly sleepy, and we loved the push cart service. I highly recommend the fresh buns because they were so delicious and soft! I loved that it was warm.

Yelp
A busy place for dim sum, but they have some dishes here that warrant a drive from the easy valley versus going to Mekong. Great Wall appears to have about the same variety of dishes (maybe a little more) than Mekong Palace (my typical go-to), but their Noodle Roll (cheung fun) dishes are so good. I'd rate the food quality and cleanliness of this place very similar to Mekong Palace, so the big reason why I'd come here is if there are cravings for Noodle Roll dishes. Parking lot is big with plenty of space, and it's next to a market that carries some unique (but overpriced) products.

Yelp
I had visitors for Christmas and they wanted dim sum that served congee. I looked at other reviews on Google etc and found this spot was amazing per customers. We got in and got seated right away on Christmas afternoon for 3 people. It was busy but not too packed. The place was spacious so lots of spots. However, the food was lacking. We were advised there was no congee and we only got veggies, bbq pork bao buns and fried chicken wings. There's was literally nothing else that came by. I gave this a two stars as the seating was quick and the food that we did eat was good but not enough variety.

Yelp
My friend and I came here specifically for dim sum, which starts right at the restaurant's opening time at 11AM. I was surprised to see how packed the place was so early in the morning!! This place is definitely a town favorite. We ordered many variations of dim sum, such as chicken feet (they're fall off the bone!), shu mai, har gow, shrimp rice rolls, beef tripe & steamed buns. I really appreciate dim sum that are huge and far from it being too greasy/oily in taste-- I can see why this place was already packed first thing in the morning! I wasn't a big fan of the beef tripe as it didn't taste like it was cleaned well compared to other beef tripe I've tried and the steamed buns weren't as flavorful as I expected them to be but all the other dim sum with their chili oil was magnifique!!!! Unfortunately, my friend and I got fun quite quickly so we didn't have enough space in our stomachs for more LOL Would love to come back again!

Yelp
I came here with a part of 4 during the lunch rush on a Saturday afternoon, and to my surprise we were seated immediately. One thing I love about traditional dim sum restaurants - you don't have to wait for a server to take your order! Right when we were seated, multiple carts rolled by and we were able to easily pick and choose what we wanted. Unfortunately, since the food is rolled around on the carts, not everything you order will be warm, however everything still tasted great. The only thing I can complain about is that we were seated for about 20 minutes and still did not have a server check up on us. I had to flag another worker down just to get some water and order additional entrees from the menu. The servers did not seem super friendly, but after eating in multiple dim sum restaurants in my life, I noticed this was pretty much the norm. They don't mean to come off as rude, this is just how they speak in their culture. Also, when it's super busy, making conversation isn't their top priority. Aside from the service, this is a great place to come with a large group if you're in the mood for some dim sum. There is a large parking lot out front, so parking is no issue here. I would recommend it if you're in the area.

Yelp
Loved the throw back to Hong Kong dim sum houses! Ladies and men I could practice my paltry Cantonese with. Their charsiu barbecue pork baked buns, steamed pao are top notch. Their ou kok or fried taro dumplings are fresh and tasty and so was their fupeikuen or beancurd skin rolls that was in broth. These almost made up for not having siewlongpao or soup dumplings. The taro cake was okay. Loved their crispy roast pork. Sesame balls with red bean paste are Yessss. Egg tart was meh. Mango pudding was okay. No to the century egg porridge. The large chunks of meat was off putting. Review #999

Yelp
Yes, this place is popping like crazy on weekends for Dim Sum. Be patience, get your way to the front to get a # to be seated. Then now you wait! Once you are seated, get a stamp card for food, then LET the EATING begin. Great Wall serves Hong Kong-style Dim Sum on weekends. You can wait for the carts to come by to see what they have or ask your server if you don't see your item. You can also order the regular menu too. I have also been here for many times for dinner too. They have great selection.

Yelp
My husband and I attended a wedding reception here and it was a blast! The food was maybe different than what you get at the restaurant usually (it was an 8 course Vietnamese feast) but it was amazing! And all the waiters were very attentive and fast.

Yelp
This place never seems to disappoint when it comes to authentic Chinese food. Everything tasted amazing and you definitely feel like you traveled to china for an authentic dining experience. Must go to!

Yelp
Came here for some dim sum because someone said it was pretty good and to come early because they are busy.. Drove 35 mins got here 5 mins after they opened on Sunday morning.. Party of six got sat right away. Pretty good selections of different type of food. I did hear they are little bit on the expensive side. Well all I can say is pure disappointment. This sticky rice that came on a plate had some weired funky taste I could not handle. Peiking duck was not bad. Over all all the dimsum were mediacore. Didn't order crazy amount of food but still came out to be $220. Definitely not worth the drive or money... By the time we left there were lot of people waiting to eat. Don't know why.. Definitely would not come back here.

Yelp
My daughter has been wanting to come here because she sees a lot of reviews on TikTok saying it's authentic, good dim sum. We made it in today at 2:00pm and were welcomed and seated immediately. We were offered stir fried noodles and coconut buns right away. We ordered hot green tea and waters. Another server with a cart arrived and we asked for the dumplings and rice noodles with beef. The noodles were warmish to cold which worried me a bit. We sat for a while not sure what to do next. As the next server with a cart of spare rib, chicken feet, shrimp scallop dumplings and sticky rice walked up, we asked about ordering. She was impatient and short with us. The restaurant is quite loud so I asked if she could repeat the items in the cart for me, sitting further away. She shook her head with and angry look on her face and sighed and acted condescending as she repeated the items and slammed the lids after each item. At this point, my daughter said we should have just gotten up and left. We stayed a while longer, shocked, then I got up and went to the front to pay the bill. The whole trip felt confusing and extremely negative for us. None of us want to return. I ended up spending $47 and didn't even get a full meal and left hungry. I feel like I missed something and should have maybe asked Yelp friends beforehand how to act in this restaurant. There are several four-star reviews from friends whose opinion I trust.

Yelp
Didn't make it in time for the dim sum (ends at 3pm on weekends) but tried the regular menu out. The hot n sour soup was really good. We don't eat pork so they made sure even when they brought the soup out that it was chicken and that was very kind. We also got a shrimp fried rice which was OK (shrimp tasted a bit too fishy for my taste) and the peppered beef which was AMAZING. I would love to come back to try the dim sum but over all decent place for Chinese if you're in the area. They also brought out some orange slices at the end of our meal to cleanse our pallete which was also incredibly nice. The staff were kind and for the most part attentive.

Yelp
This place took my order and money through Grubhub even though they were closed for an event I never got my food

Yelp
The food was very tasty there was a huge variety and staff was very friendly and kept coming around to see if we wanted more food. I felt very comfortable eating here would recommend you come with multiple people so you can to stay entertained, overall very exquisite place.

Yelp
Don't let the decor / area fool you. This place has some of the best Chinese food we've had in the valley. Not saying they are the best, but it ranked highest for us. You won't get a menu to choose from but rather they bring carts filled with food and you select what you want and they write it down on the order card left at your table. What an experience we had trying new things, anxiously awaiting what was on the next cart and either passing up what we didn't care for or grabbing what we could since we knew it would be 5 or so minutes before they came around again. Loved the shrimp potstickers, shumai and pineapple custard buns. BBQ pork / beef were on my 1st things to try and wasn't disappointed.

Yelp
READ if you never been. Good place to get dim sum in the area. Not the best but surprisingly good. Service was excellent. They were very attentive with refilling drinks and covering around with food.. Let's start with the service. For those who have complained in the past that the service is bad, this is expected. There is a language barrier and they want to be as efficient as possible. You need to be decisive of what you want and ask them directly what the items are. They need to move the line because other tables are waiting for food too. If you are undecided about the food, you're not gonna enjoy the service experience. Just take a risk and order a bunch of stuff. I did not see anything out of the ordinary. As for the food, everything was pretty good. My favorite were the shrimp eggrolls, Chinese broccoli, and the fried shrimp tofu. All the dumplings were really good, shrimp, pork, beef. The only miss was the sticky rice, which was undercooked. The desserts was really good. We ordered some mango custards and the almond dessert.

Yelp
I can't believe I finally found an authentic dim sum spot in Phoenix! I missed dim sum since I arrived after 3pm, but I'm already planning to come back soon. This time, I tried the steamed chicken, and it was the best I've ever had--it's my favorite, and I crave it all the time! I just wish this place wasn't so far from my house, or I'd be here all the time. It's legit and truly authentic!

Yelp
Came here with my family and friends for dim sum on a Monday and it still felt like the weekend. I appreciated the old fashioned cart service which is hard to find these days. The flavor and texture on everything we ordered was perfect!

Esther L.

Yelp
Decent Dim Sum with good spread of varieties. Staffs are friendly. Dim sum carts are always refilled with more dishes. Ambiance is warm welcoming. There's 5% discount if you pay by cash.

Yelp
This is an amazing place to eat. We can eat so much closer to home. But this is worth the drive!!! The sliced bbq pork, the pork fried rice the won ton soup the orange beef The garlic fried pork chop!!! The list goes on and on! And yes. I'm a retired fat person. We order tons of food because we have to taste everything but can never ever finish it!

Yelp
First time at Great Wall and it was It was good. This was my first dim sum experience and first time dining at Great Wall and I absolutely loved it. The parking lot was busy, the restaurant was packed, but it was well worth the wait. On this visitvwe shared, Crab Puffs, Noodles Chow Fun, 2 Dim Sum Dishes, Peking Pork Chops, Rice, Walnut Shrimp, and Dumplings, Every single dish was authentic, fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Reminded me of the restaurants back home in New York. If you are seeking a wonderful Cantonese dim sum meal this is your stop, you won't be disappointed. The food is delicious, the service is great, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are reasonable.

Yelp
We were on a golf trip in Arizona and decided to try some dim sum. Great Wall Cuisine was recommended as the best dim sum in Arizona so we decided to give it a try. This restaurant is located in an unassuming strip. Not very clean and service is okay. This may be the greatest dim sum for Arizona but our group of 9 would not give this establishment more than 2 stars! We went early when it opened at 11:00 am. The dim sum dishes taken off the cart were COLD and we wanted to return it (but we didn't want something done to our other orders...)! The meatball was absolutely horrible, like being served leftover meatball out of the refrigerator from the night before and serving it to your customer without heating it up? The shrimp ball (hai gow) and the sui mai wasn't much better.... Also COLD. Almost every single dish we took off the cart was cold. We also ordered two dishes that had to be cooked; Chow Fun and Chow Mein (gee mein). These two dishes would be the only food I'd rate higher because it was hot. I can't even say if the food tasted good because nothing taste good if you are expecting fresh cooked food but get cold, leftover food! Would not recommend this restaurant as the best dim sum unless you like cold dim sum, mediocre ambiance and nothing special service.

Yelp
I came by on Sunday with my family and we arrived right after dim sum had concluded for the day. I didn't know there were specific times set for dim sum so I was bummed out when we were told we had just missed it. We decided to stay for their dinner menu and I'm so glad that we did. We had several different servers through out our meal and they were all very attentive and friendly. We ordered the following: Sweet and sour soup Egg roll, crab ragoon, and fried shrimp platter White rice Fried rice Mongolian beef Kung pao shrimp - no peanuts Chicken with lobster sauce Chinese broccoli Green tea All these entrees came with the dinner meal which in total was about $25 per person. The broccoli was not included and that itself was about $18. The food was delicious and this went for every single plate we ate. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. The proteins were there and they were not stingy about it. My favorite had to have been the chicken with lobster sauce, mmm. The Mongolian beef was also another good one as the meat was cooked well and it was easy to chew. The inside is big and has plenty of tables. They weren't too busy while we were there but when we left, larger groups started arriving. Our grand total was $116. (tip included) Service was great and our food was delicious! It was a pretty far voyage for me since I live in the east valley but it was so worth it. I will definitely be back soon for some dim sum.
google avatar

Yelp
I did not get to try any of the food. The one star is strictly for the service during my one and only visit. I tried to walk in and place a to-go order. As I grabbed a paper menu off the front counter, neither of the two workers even made eye contact with me. I sat down to look at it for about 3 minutes and they still didn't acknowledge me, nor did the hostess who had walked up (because she heard the door open). Three workers and no eye contact. That's all I needed to put the paper menu back and walk out.

Yelp
Great Wall has become one of our go-tos! I love going with a group of people to get the family combo. It's a great deal for a variety of dishes, and the more people you have, the more dishes you get. Last time, we went with 4 people and came home with enough leftovers for days. My favorite is the wonton soup, it's full of fresh, delicious veggies along with the chicken and dumplings. My husband's favorite is the roast duck. This place just never fails us, it's delicious. We also like the service. They can get busy, but they're so easy to wave over. We have yet to try their dim sum, so I'll have to review again when we get to try that.

Yelp
I'll admit... as a Bay Area native, I was very skeptical of Great Wall Cuisine. I didn't know whether the dim sum would be worth eating. But rest assured, this restaurant even got my dad's approval! What I love about Great Wall, which apparently has been in business for almost 60 years, is that the waiters and waitresses still continue the dim sum cart tradition. I had thought that many - if not all - dim sum restos had abandoned the carts after the pandemic. Overall, it brought back very fond memories of visiting dim sum restaurants back home with my family for a relaxing mid-morning lunch. All the items we ordered - including the har cheong fun, steamed beef tripe, and lotus rice - tasted almost on par to the dim sum places back home. Best of all, the waiters and waitresses were thrilled to be able to speak to us in Cantonese! The next time I'm back in Phoenix, I will be sure to pay Great Wall another visit.

Yelp
I dunno. I mostly wasn't impressed. But clearly a LOT of people really love this place, so maybe it was just me (and my wife...she wasn't really impressed, either, but liked it more than I did). It wasn't like the dim sum I'm used to. Different foods entirely, and a different mode of service (for lack of a better way of saying it). Decor and ambiance was like a school cafeteria. Most of the foods were OK. Nothing really special. Nothing that got me excited. Though I did like their stuffed bun. It was like siopao, but they baked it instead of steaming it. It was very nice. The other items were "just OK". Definitely "could have been better".

Yelp
The chicken feet were awesome. I haven't had chicken feet that good since 2013 in Hong Kong. The service was quick and there were many trays and options to choose from. Great tea, Very clean and calm environment.

Yelp
Great Wall Cuisine was out Saturday afternoon lunch pick. We arrived a little late for lunch, but while they looked busy, they seated us right away. They had plenty of carts with Dim Sum coming around. Lots of yummy food! The staff was nice. The restaurant looked like a throwback to my east coast days as a kid. Large room with lots of tables, but with the ability to divide the room if needed with removable walls. Good experience and great food!

Yelp
Great restaurant in a strip mall. And its also a reception center as there was a wedding going on when we got there. Dining area is big and very clean great atmosphere really. We had their special dinner for two that had eggs rolls and cream cheese wontons a wor wonton soup egg fried rice wor noodles and we chose orange chicken vs the sweet and sour pork. First of all the flavor omg it's definitely authentic the noodles and rice had almost a smoky flavor. The orange chicken was so crispy and the sauce was not your typical sauce this one top notch. Staff was adorable and friendly. Great place to take friends and family to enjoy a meal. I didn't do five stars because the wedding music was so loud we couldn't speak but it was still a very enjoyable experience.

Yelp
Nope. Went with party of 9 to celebrate a birthday. The borthday boy wanted dim sum from a cart service. Done. I generally love dim sum. I did not like this experience nor did I love their dim sum. Many dim sum options had an insane amount of small shrimp in them. Loud environment. Banquet tables. Uncomfortable chairs. It was Hard to receive and see all the roaming food cart options. Very busy and chaotic. Not very good table service. Nobody wanted to give a brief menu review or explain ordering process once we were seated. Not terribly hard to navigate it, but we probably could have enjoyed our visit with just a tiny bit of table service. Dim sum was good. Not great. Baby kimchi from kitchen was spectacular.

Yelp
This dim sum place was well worth the trek from the southeast valley, it's probably my favorite in the greater Phoenix area. There were just SO many options, and everything was fresh/hot and tasted great. Shu Mai is always my go-to dumpling, and it did not disappoint; I also loved the stir fried wide rice noodles (don't recall the name of the dish). Service was good - for a dim sum place so large, it was surprising we weren't waiting more for certain carts to come around.

Yelp
Solid roast duck for the DFW area. Overall great service and wonderful food options. Would return

Erica Q.

Yelp
Food is ok but service is terrible. The front desk ask us to pay for tips just because we are Chinese. I've never seen a restaurant ask for mandatory tips. 家人们,避雷了。再也不会来。前台收银强制要小费还一个劲阴阳。中国人不骗中国人,这个地方真没必要来!!!!!

Yelp
I got dim sum this time, it's good, not the best I have had in my life (i've had it in Chicago, LA, Hong Kong so standards are high). I left it 5 star due to dinner being so good and it still being one of the best in Phoenix area. If you want something and it's not on the cart, ask and they can get it ordered for you. The Pineapple Buns actually have custard inside them, it makes it so yum. If you want dim sum, this is the place to go on the west side.

Yelp
Best dim sum in Phoenix! Service is consistent and the variety of items on the menu never disappoints, it's busy and loud, but #worthit

Yelp
My family and I have been wanting to try this place for a few months, now, but our schedule hasn't allowed us to make the trip. Today, it finally happened, and we were severely disappointed. It was very busy, which was fine, and a 25 minute wait isn't bad at all. We had never been to Dim Sum before and were highly entertained watching the carts go by filled with different foods. Because of the table size and large groups, I thought these were whole orders being brought out but I was incorrect. We had our number called and the woman told us "Go sit at the very last table". So we proceeded, a little confused, towards the last table- which was being bussed. We waited, standing, for a moment while our table was being cleaned and then sat down. Immediately after sitting, a lady with one of the carts came over and motioned to the plates on the cart; I tried to let her know that it was our first time and we were unsure about the process. She walked away. I decided to go up to the front just to ask about the process and I was lead back and told that I could order from the menu, choose the Dim Sum plates, or do a combo of both. We mentioned that we specifically came for the Dim Sum and he said that we just point to the plates and they give them to us. It seemed easy enough. Wrong again. When the next cart came around, I was trying to ask what things were and neither me, nor the woman I was asking, could understand each other. So we grabbed a couple things off of that cart to try and everything had shrimp in it. Which is something that I and my daughter avoid, and I had checked and confirmed on the menu previously to make sure that there were plenty of options for us without it. We ended up with a small series of dumplings, a couple different types of rice, egg rolls that were only shrimp inside, some fried popcorn chicken, and cold pork belly. Nothing that we had wanted, from looking at the online menu, came around on any of the carts and the things that we got were not appetizing, to us. Unfortunately the inability to communicate made the experience very difficult and the items we chose were not enjoyable to the point that we just stopped trying and left. We had already received $115 dollars worth of food that nobody wanted or liked. We left still hungry, and deeply disappointed in the experience. If you know how to do Dim Sum, this may be workable for you. If you're going for the first time, avoid this place at all costs.

Yelp
This is a good dim sum place. It's fun to try a lot of different items and everything I tried was very good. My favorite are sticky rice, shrimp rice roll, and shrimp dumplings (har gow). Only downside is that it's in a pretty sketchy area of town and the restaurant needs to be renovated, but you're coming here for the food, not for ambience.

Yelp
Delicious food, good price, fast service. Take note of Dimsum hours before coming. They stop serving dimsum at 3pm

Yelp
Interesting experience here tonight for our first visit. We walked in to find a huge, semi-formal banquet celebrating the lunar new year. As it turns out, they had a separate, small area curtained off for those not celebrating. We were seated in this back area, but considering the festivities in the main room, perhaps we should've been celebrating after all. The menu is huge, and everything is reasonably priced. We split a huge bowl of hot and sour soup. The three of us each had two cups, and there was still some left in the bowl. Not the best hot and sour I've ever had, but I've definitely had worse. Same goes for the egg rolls. The three of us split the Mongolian beef, orange chicken, and pork fried rice. The beef and rice were both very good, but the orange chicken was just fair. We ate as much as we could but still left some on the platters. We definitely didn't leave hungry. Service was a bit spotty, but again, there was a party going on next door, so hard to complain too much.

Yelp
Decent dim sum. Be prepared for a wait! 45-50 minutes on a Sunday for two people on Mother's Day. Super nice cart ladies! Wait in line to pay at the end at the cashier!

Yelp
15 min wait for a table for lunch on a Sunday. Food carts came around often. Not as large of a selection as compared to dim sum in Seattle, but they had most of the standards. Ambiance was not anywhere near fancy, but that means that they don't need high prices on the dim sum :) Very close to Grand Canyon University.

Yelp
Would be 4.5 in my book. Took some friends that have never had Dim Sum before and they loved it. Of course they both loved the siu mai the most followed by the chow fun noodles. They did also like the har gow and Chinese broccoli. I thought they did a great job of turning tables over to get customers in and out on a busy Sunday! Staff was very nice and patient with my friends who had questions about what they had in their carts. Probably the most authentic Dim Sum spot in Valley.

Yelp
Came for a group dinner with a bunch of Taiwanese leaders. First time here but I have heard great things about the Dim Sum. So how was dinner? We had multi course Chinese banquet with no expense spared, and it was very very good! Why only four stars, because of the location, it's about the worse place I've been to have good food. This place needs to be Scottsdale, LOL

Yelp
If I could give this place zero stars, I WOULD. I have been coming here for over 7 years and never have I experienced such a horrible experience as I did today. Today I went in during dim sum hours and I began picking out dim sum from the carts. My boyfriend picked up a piece shu mai, and he saw what was the bottom portion of a ROACH. Yes, you heard that right a ROACH. Me and my boyfriend sat their and examined it to ensure we were not just being paranoid. After confirming it indeed was the bottom part of a roach, I called one of the workers and after telling this worker (tall, hair in a ponytail, and glasses) I found a roach in my food, he looked at the napkin and looked at me and said I give you five dollars off. I stared at him with a blank face and he asked what dish was it on and I pointed to the one and he picked it up and left. He came back and he wrote canceled on one of the small item boxes. He didn't apologize, he didn't seem to budge about a roach being found in our food. Me and my boyfriend sat there in disbelief at how he handled the situation. I could of exploded of how upset I was. But because I have been coming here for so long I decided to just keep it civil and pay for the food and leave. This was by far the worst experience and would not recommend anyone to go somewhere that has roaches falling into their food and won't take accountability.

Yelp
Came in for dim sum. Food was pretty good but prices seemed kind of high. But the only other dim sum I've had was in LA and it was much cheaper. We were seated quickly. Don't expect good service and you won't be disappointed lol.

Yelp
We've been here multiple times - our favorite dim sum restaurant in the area! The most recent time being on New Year's Eve. It was a really busy service, but they were able to move the line of customers outside pretty quickly. We got in within like 2025 minutes, even though we were about 30 parties behind the front. Once inside the food wasn't the fastest - however, this was a really busy service. They had the food carts as usual, so once the free cards came out, you have your food immediately. It was pretty well priced. The four dishes pictured cost 25.36 Overall, Food is great! - Their shumai is on Fleek, juicy, soft, well cooked. We always had it with the spicy mustard. - The curd was really good. Outside was flaky, and a soft inside, goes really well with soy sauce or their spicy sayce - We have had their Cheung fun (like banh cuon with shrimp in it LOL) on previous visits - this is another staple for us. It was really good, soft, rice, paper, shrimp was soft and well cooked and their sauce. A classic dim sum staple! .

Yelp
Good food, friendly staff, easy parking. One of the best Chinese cuisine in Arizona. A must try Chinese food in town!!
