The Best Burgers in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"Hours: Daily, 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. This friendly neighborhood dive bar has been around since the late ’50s, and its claim to fame is the wine burger, which sounds a lot fancier than it actually is. The person at the flattop grill splashes a little red wine over the burger as it’s cooking. That’s it. People argue about whether the wine is even discernible in the burger. What they don’t argue about is the goodness of the burger itself, which is juicy, deceptively simple, and almost universally beloved. Order it with a generous slice of melted cheese, preferably American. Best for: Dive bar charm with cheap beer and griddled burgers topped with a splash of red wine." - McConnell Quinn

Stopped by Harvey’s Wine Burgers and was really impressed with the food especially the burger, which was one of the best I’ve had in a while. The wait time was a bit long, but our server, Jazz, let us know upfront, which we appreciated. The atmosphere gives a whole in the wall but its better than that, and the crowd made it a fun place to be. That said, our server's attitude could’ve been better. The place was full and could have had a moment of being overwhelmed , but it’s important not to let that spill over onto paying customers. Still, the quality of the food makes this spot a must-try. I’ll definitely be back.

Google
I have been here on multiple occasions. If you’re going to be a diva and a crybaby. This isn’t the spot for you. There will be a wait usually and especially on Friday nights. But the wait it worth it. The food is amazing and the servers are great. Cheeseburger is great. The speciality burgers are yummy and so is the Harvey sampler 😋

Google
You gotta understand— Harvey’s is all about the vibe. It’s not elegant or pretentious. It’s where “regulars” hang out, socialize, play pool. You can jump right in and enjoy the scene. the food, maybe meet some new people and converse. Order up a great burger and fries and a beer or two. There were 6 of us including two kids (we always bring a deck of cards.) Service was OK and friendly. Loved the burgers. Great people watching. We left full and happy.

Google
Wife and I were looking for a good burger. Glad we chose this place. First time here, Israel gets down on the burgers! Very flavorful and he’s a solid dude to get to know. Jazz did an amazing job taking care of us as well, very knowledgeable on the different drinks. If you’re in the area, male sure you stop by! Cheers

Google
A very cool hang out bar with great food. Service is a little slow but definitely worth the wait! This is not you typical burger place but a hidden gem and a must try when you’re in town.

Google
We came to have some burgers and play some pool as a recommendation from a local. The blond bartender was so rude and seemed to not like the job almost like we were an aggravation. Drinks ran dry several times. The food was okay probably won’t go back due to the rudeness unfortunately.

Google
I’ve been a customer of Harvey’s Wineburger practically my entire life, and I’ve never had a disappointing experience. One thing is that because this is a bar and not a restaurant, and I come for the burgers, I have to have more patience and consideration due to the fact that I’m not the targeted audience. Nevertheless, my favorites are the Buffalo Blue when I want something fun and flavorful, and the Wineburger with American cheese and bacon when I’m craving a good classic burger. When I want a burger, no other place satisfies the craving like Harvey’s does. The place is delightful and just the right amount of hectic, with contagious vibes. The staff can be a blast if you start off on the right foot. The only downside is that the food takes time to come out, due to the fact that it’s just one guy on one grill… BECAUSE, yet again, this place is a bar that just so happens to make great burgers. 9/10, do recommend! :D

Google
Had an amazing experience at Harvey’s Wineburger in Phoenix! Our server, Nick, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We tried the Island Burger and the Rodeo, and both were phenomenal—definitely 5-star quality. The flavors were on point, and the burgers were cooked to perfection. Keep in mind that if it’s busy, you might have a bit of a wait (around 50-60 minutes), but it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great burger experience!

Yelp
Now THIS is what a burger should taste like!!!From the first bite to the last, absolute harmony in my mouth. Watched patties be made my hand and each burger cooked to order, lots of attention to detail is what separates this place from the rest. Fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. Looking forward to being back over and over, multiplied by forever. Thank you!!!

Yelp
Let's just say I can't find a better burger in the valley! The drinks are good too! Service was a little slow but it was Saturday night and they were packed! All things considering they were really good and clearing out empty glasses and filling our waters. We played pool and for 75cents a game what did we do step back in time to the 90s!?! It was a fabulous night and we didn't break the bank!

Yelp
This place is a dive bar to say the least. It's loud and the crowd is eclectic and with only one restroom it's not for the faint of heart. But if atmosphere isn't a limiting factor the you'll be impressed by the quality of the burgers. You get a very balanced well seasoned and properly cooked juicy burger with the right amount of meat to bun at a very reasonable price. And the place is open late for those of us whose day doesn't start in the AM. The burgers are a 4 plus and the fries are good enough. Just not great. They do allow those under 21 before 4PM. After 4 it's a bar with burgers. Not a burger place with a bar. They also have 2 pool tables. Did I say it was loud?

Yelp
Read about Harvey's on the Phoenix Foodies Facebook page, and since we love burgers and dive bars I knew we had to try it. Small, dark, dive bar is the perfect description. Seating choices are at the bar, or a high top table. Came at lunchtime and the place was pretty full. Hubs had the Garlic Patty Melt and added green chiles. I had the mushroom burger (beef with grilled onions & mushrooms). Burgers come with fries, upgraded one order to onion rings. Beef patties are 7 oz and hand-pressed on a flat griddle. They stayed warm throughout the whole meal and were juicy and tasteful. Only gave it 4 stars because the fries/onion rings were too dry/crispy. Maybe turn the fryer down a notch.

Yelp
Had book marked this spot since they have a bold burger claim of being the best in AZ! And their wings are suppose to be pretty decent too! FYI-It's extremely small inside. It was busy on the Sunday evening when we came in about 5:30 PM. Don't really expect to be welcomed in here as the staff is super busy, so much so that they don't seem to acknowledge people coming through the door.Seat yourself! We waited just a few minutes & were able to find an open area at the bar. Menus provided at the counter, so we browsed the beer selections & went with a Dos Equis & a Wow Beer. We wanted to start with their wings & requested them mixed with their hot & garlic parm which is a popular choice here. They came out piping hot (temperature wise) and they were huge in size! They're good, but could have been just a little more crispy IMO. There's so many great burgers offered on the menu and it was really hard to decide. In speaking with the bartender we went with his two favorites which were the Island and the Garlic Patty Melt. BOTH were excellent. The patty, while being cooked has a splash of red wine added. Hence the name- Winebuger. These burgers are worth the hype and the price. We weren't able to eat them all. There are thick!! The fries were on another level. I'd go as far as to say that they were probably the best I've had in Arizona thus far. It currently beats my last claim elsewhere in another review. I don't know what these fries are cooked in, probably don't want to know either, but they're delicious & memorable! NOTE- It is a very small kitchen with assuming one cook?! You have to be patient with the process. The tickets get backed up, so the staff allows for timeframes so the kitchen can get caught up before placing additional orders. But, do not worry they will keep the drinks flowing! Entertainment consists of: Pool, Jukebox, Darts and believe they have a DJ on certain days and times also. We really enjoyed this drive bar. It's been around since the early 50's and it's got the old bones, decor and chill vibe to prove it. *Suggest if you're able- to get a seat at the bar. You'll have better, more attentive service. Go during off peak hours and park in the back.* Definitely will be returning customers amongst their regulars and look forward to trying the other hamburgers and getting more of those killer fries!

Yelp
Brah!! I dream of these burgers! Hands Down on of my favorites and best burgers in Phoenix I have had! THE BEST!! Harvey's Wineburger on 16th is a must visit! You deserve it!! Its a popular dive bar that you just love being in! Jazz... THANK YOU! You are the best and every visit is always incredible!! Try the patty melt! I am Matt Gil and I approve this message! ‍#phoenix #burger #bestburger https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP86woBYt/ is a video I did on my last visit! The photo does absolutely nothing to help reflect this deliciousness. I was to excited to eat it to take a good picture.

Yelp
Cool little neighborhood dive bar, cheap drinks and delicious burgers. I've only had the burgers here and I keep coming back for more. The service is a little on the slow side but there are tvs usually playing sports, they also have a couple of pool tables. Plenty of seating. The burgers are juicy, the fixings are fresh and the drinks are cold. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for somewhere very low key to hang out, stop by this place.

Yelp
Still coming to my favorite local dive bar. Delicious bar food. Good drink prices. I have my routine of dropping the car off and coming to eat while I wait. My favorites are the grilled cheese, wings (buffalo with Parmesan) and burgers. Cook times vary sometimes they are slow, sometimes fast. I never come expecting fast just in case. Yes all my reviews sound the same for this place but that's a good thing. It's reliably good. Alyssa (my favorite) and April (a new favorite) were serving to day. Israel at grill cooking it up delicious and cooked to order.

Luzette C.

Yelp
I love burgers but I'm OBSSESED with the burgers from this place! Always so good and the onion rings! Oh and even the buffalo wings are so good!!!

Armando D.

Yelp
I recently went with a few buddies from class. We were refused service and pretty much asked to leave. Both of the bartenders (both female, one younger and middle aged) were extremely rude. I had just arrived, my buddy was ordering a pitcher, so I waited my turn as I was going to get us some wings. I was never greeted neither bartender when it was my turn. When I approached the bartenders they both were really nasty. Stating "Nobody had called them to let them know we were coming and blah, blah, blah". It was me and 2 of my buddies. I'm not sure what their deal was. But I WILL NEVER step foot in this terrible establishment again. From the looks of the reviews, it's not the first time people are treated in rude way here.

Yelp
Amazing place dive bar great service nice place to escape the heat have a drink & a great burger

Yelp
I love this divey bar and they really do have the best burgers in town. Low key, no take out, super casual ambiance. Recently found out the place was built and has been standing since the 50s, if that doesn't speak to the quality of the burger idk what does. Tonight I tried the sampler as I know the burgers are huge and knew I couldn't finish it. It was pretty good and for a great price too. My boyfriend tried the islander burger and it tasted amazing. Service is always quick and professional. I love the laid back staff, it's warm and inviting. Wasn't my first time and won't be my last!

Yelp
The burgers here at Harvey's are fantastic!!! Super fresh, made to order, hot, and filling. The beverages are pretty good too! For around 12 bucks, you get a whole meal!!! The bar has beverages galore, while the jukebox plays a plethora of music overhead! When I want a good. Urged, Harvey's is always my #1 choice. The food takes a little while, but it's well worth the wait. Nothing bad to say about Harvey's EVER!
google avatar

Desiree D.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint. Just a great little local bar with tvs and pool tables. The service was quick and friendly even with a lot of people there watching the football games. The cheeseburger was nothing fancy but it was cooked to perfection. Nothing beats a great burger and salty fries.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to frequent this eatery in the 90s and early 2000s before I moved away. I was visiting in October and brought my older sister with me as she had never been to Harvey's Wineburger. I was shocked! Anyway one server was excellent, the other server, not so much but it is what it is. Yes it's still dark in there and pretty full at lunch. The cheeseburger actually comes with nicely cooked fries and still tasted juicy and comforting just like they did 30 years ago. The price was amazingly reasonable! Give them a try. You and your pocketbook will love it. I like to support local non-chain eateries. Their burgers are worthy and they will cook it anyway you would like it.

Yelp
Recently came here just to check out a nearby bar in the area. I'm a big fan of bar and grills and this place caught my eye! The menu featured had tons of appetizing burgers especially with the food being served late. Prices on beer are fair. The bar is quite busy and a bit loud but not rowdy. Tons of great bar activities you can find at any other bar like a jukebox, darts, pool etc. Staff can be a bit slow at times serving you but overall, solid reccomend!

Yelp
Harvey's Wineburger is what 2024 needs. It's got it all and it brings you back to the basics. The place is not pretentious or masqueraded out to be something that it is not. Harvey's wins at price point perfection. You are not going to pay $13.50 for a Tito's and Tonic or $9.50 for a pint of Church Music IPA . Their bar is stocked well with what you need, and not what you saw once on someone's instagram story. So, if you are looking for a Himalayan Wood Smoked Infused Pineapple Seed Mezcal Martini, you are not going to find it here. Remember, this place is going to bring you back to the basics. Hamburgers, BLTs, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and Wings are outstanding! Inside: Dark, vampire friendly, no sunlight enters or exits until the front door opens. Waitresses and Bartenders: so friendly and accommodating-they are busy, and are usually in Busy Bee Mode. They do have stingers so if you are friendly and kind, so are they. The Cook: Important Information!!! ( Don't Mess with the Chef ) He's got tons and tons of food orders stacking up, and if you ask him his name you will get in an elevated voice, " My name is BUSY!!! LOL He's got his earbuds in so, he's okay you're ok. (Don't poke the bear) The bathrooms: They can definitely use some work, but can't we all (be honest and do a self assessment). You aren't going to find scented candles or lavender linens to dry your hands. It's probably better to be a boy than a girl, but it's all relative. TVs and Entertainment: TV's are good and positioned properly, they have a couple of pool tables and a place to throw darts. The Juke Box is muy bien, it's Touch Tunes, so it will have music you are in the mood for. Location and "I Feel Safe Meter": Located just south of 16th and Camelback, Havery's has plenty of parking in the front and in the back. I've been there plenty of times at night and have always felt 100% safe. The place does look a little intimidating to enter, but once you walk in and find your nesting ground, you'll be just fine. The Clientele: All walks of life, Lawyers, CPAs, Doctors, Car Salesmen, Construction workers, Dancers, The Village People, et all. The diversity is awesome and it's great for people watching. Age range 21-90 years old Gender ratio 50% men 50% women All in all it's an awesome place to begin your night, end your night, or find somewhere in the middle for Harvey's Winebugers !

Yelp
I heard about this place so many times and always wanted to stop in. I'm glad I did. I went during the day on a Sunday and it was still fairly busy but had a nice neighborhood vibe. The service was really prompt and friendly. It was hard to choose among so many delicious sounding burgers. I wanted something a little out of the ordinary with a kick, so I went with the spicy burger and got onion to be a on the side. So delicious. I loved the burger. I also tried a bite of the standard basic burger and I can see why this place gets so much love. All of it was tasty. Can't wait to come back and try some more.

Yelp
This place was spectacular! We came to check it out because we saw it had amazing reviews and it did live up to it. You honestly can't beat the prices on food and drinks here! Best garlic parm wings I've ever had! I mean just look at how saucey those things are. Very divey place but so worth it!

Sergio S.

Yelp
Love the ambiance , love the beers, and most importantly love the food especially the burgers they are known for. GREAT place overall!

Madison R.

Yelp
The food was excellent, everyone got something different and enjoyed it. One of the top burgers I've ever had. Feels like a local dive bar with great energy very clean in here and restrooms. Music wasn't too loud but also loud enough to have a fun vibe. Patty was an awesome waitress and took good care of our table. Will be back!

Yelp
I use to go to Harvey's Wineburger back in the early 80's after our Friday night bowling league. (I was lousy) but I loved those burgers with the grilled onions. I was so delighted when I was in the neighborhood, driving down 16th and what to my wonderful eyes should appear but "Harvey's Wineburger" and Yes, I pulled right on in and it did not disappoint! I am so happy something's haven't changed.
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Go for the burger and fries Good bar gets big crowd Nice pool tables Plenty of parking
google avatar

Jorge F.

Yelp
After a long weekend of drinks some times you just need a big cheese burger! The wine burgers here are league leaders, i got the wine burger with American cheese, grill onion and mushrooms and hit a wall about half way thru not for lack of flavor, this thing sings to you every bite! Love the aesthetics in here! They keep it nice and dark so any time of the day feels like dinner time, get ready to grub! Locals secret menu unlocked... ask for the garlic parm/hot wings and hold on for dear life as it's a flavor overload in all the right ways!

Yelp
Come for the burger, stay for the shame!! I first heard of Harvey Wineburger from my coworker who raved about the burgers. Then I saw it on TikTok and thought, okay - I need to try this place, especially since it's walking distance from me. My boyfriend and I decided to go after a going away party, thinking it'd be the perfect stop before heading home. I've never been more wrong. When we walked in, I politely asked the woman working where we could order. She immediately replied "take a seat" - no greeting, no warmth. I then asked if that applied to takeout since I didn't want to take a seat from someone drinking. With the same annoyed tone and expression, she snapped that they don't do that. My bad, I genuinely didn't know. But instead of just answering, I was made to feel dumb for asking. A man sitting nearby even leaned over and said, "You never know until you ask," because he could tell how embarrassed I felt. We took a seat, and from that point on, it was clear we weren't welcome. She seemed irritated that we weren't drinking and made every interaction uncomfortable. I didn't blend in, not in terms of diversity, but in vibe. I wasn't a dive bar regular, and apparently that was enough to be treated differently. My boyfriend's order came out wrong after waiting for what felt like forever, though she admitted she "f'ed up," which I guess was at least honest. And to be fair, the burger was incredible. Smaller than expected, but super flavorful and thick. The fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly soft inside. The food really was great. But unfortunately, the experience ruined it for me. I get why it's a popular spot, and I understand why they wouldn't want a rush of takeout orders in a small bar setting. That's fair. But there's a way to communicate that without making people feel like an inconvenience. If you're a regular or blend in better, you might love it. But for me? I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed. I wish I could go back to try more, but I don't need to be treated like I don't belong just for asking a question.

Yelp
Recently discovered this place and I love it. Very comfortable, dark, cozy, with fun ceiling lights and great tunes always playing. The bartenders/servers I have experienced so far -- Jazz, Chelsey, Jordan and Nick -- are all EXCELLENT and very welcoming. The food and drinks are great and well priced. Will be spending a lot more time here.

Yelp
If a zero was available, I would give it. I have been a regular customer of Harvey's for 30 years. Have been there many weekday's for lunch, sometimes at 11a and sometimes at 1p because the lunch crowd is so large. Have been there at night, on weekends and usually it is very crowded and you must be patient for service and delivery of food. We have introduced Harvey's to our many guests from out of town and it has become a must "go" when they return to the Valley! Today our party arrived at 11:20a with 8 people. Both sides of Harvey's had many open tables. We were greeted by an older man who I have never seen before. When we said there would be 8 of us the guy said it was not possible to handle a "large party" explaining the grill is only so big and they just can't go large parties. We offered to sit at 2 tables of 4 and didn't have to sit together. He said "No! We cannot handle large parties at lunch." When we continued to suggest we would separate our group and told us "don't tell me how to run my own restaurant." He then insulted me as we left. Keep in mind the place at this point was more than half empty. He insisted the restaurant would be full in 20 minutes....apparently not with these 8 "former" customers. We went down the street to Zin Burger at the Biltmore who happily took our orders and $200. Our collective experience was shocking. Our mutual belief is the man at the door, whoever he is, is literally crazy, rude and should never be a host anywhere, anytime, anyplace.

Yelp
Good quality burger. Service was prompt , burger was really good and a great spot for lunch. It's an old dive bar vibe atmosphere and a good stop if you're in the area.

Yelp
Harvey's is a friggin institution. If you've lived here long enough... you know. There really isn't anything fahncy about this place- it's your typical unpretentious bar with all the toppings - dark interior, TVs on every wall, lots of locals, good bartenders, simple menu and drinks. I've been here for lunch and happy hour/dinner and there's always a stream of people coming in/out. You won't see happy hour pricing because they're already lower than what you can get in the neighborhood... almost like all-day happy hour everyday! The star of their menu truly is the Wineburger. I'm a fan of some toppings, but plain with onion was absolutely fabulous- truly one of the best burgers I've ever had! Onion rings are amazing too, much better than the fries. Always a good time at Harvey's!
google avatar

Manuel G.

Yelp
Burger rips. Service is whatever. It's a bar that serves a bbanging burger. The service/wait doesn't take away from how good that burger is. Might be the new spot.

Yelp
I am a cheeseburger fanatic. If there's one thing I take seriously in life, it's cheeseburgers. And folks, Harvey's Wineburger literally makes the best burger in Phoenix. It is a Dive but it is kept clean. The place has been open since the late 1950's. Think: No windows, just neon signs to light up the juicy goodness. Let's talk about my most ordered masterpiece, the Wine Cheeseburger. Imagine this: a juicy patty that's like a flavor bomb, topped with gooey cheese that hugs every bite. The Burger is cooked in a little wine to keep it flavorful and juicy and it does this well! But try all of the burgers, I have had them all and they're all great. it is just something about their normal burger that makes me happy with it's simplicity. And don't get me started on the drinks! They're cheap and made well, I'll drink to that any day! Now, you might think a place this good would be a secret, but nope! It's buzzing like a beehive in springtime, and for good reason. Harvey's is the place to be, any day, any time. Plus, they're open every single day of the year from 11:00 to 2:00, which means my cheeseburger cravings are always in good hands. The bartenders and Servers are always happy to be there and attentive. I get fast service for the most part, but it might be a little slow if it is completely packed, but it is worth the wait. I've tried most of the places that have been named "Best" in Phoenix. Happy's, Chuckbox, PV Burger, The Stand, Hamburger Works, 5th Street, etc. they're deserving of the list of best burgers in Phoenix, but this IS THE KING!

Yelp
First time going there. I was approached by an older guy who was very rude and said there was no tables available. There was one table behind me asked if we could add an extra chair rudely said No! There was a group of guys that were willing to give us their table but the guy said no theirs only 3 chairs available in the bar the fourth chair is taken but no one came to sit there. The older guy then said his kitchen staff was 1 hour behind in food. All I wanted was to try this place since it had been recommended. I kindly said ok thank you for such great customer service and walked out.
google avatar

Yelp
First off I want to say I love the food, the owner is always friendly and the music is perfect, with that being said it seems the waitstaff could use some coaching. There is one waitress that every Time we are in there, I can honestly say I have never seen her smile. She came by our table and took our drink orders I asked to place an app order and was told to hold on. She walked off brought our beers 10 minutes later and again I asked to order my appetizers with food order and was told there was a large table and it would take too long to get our food so she just placed the appetizers which oddly enough only took 5 minutes, not so long we couldn't order our burgers. I think for now we will take a step away and hope this issue gets fixed by the time we return. Because everything except her attitude is worth the drive!!!
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
The burgers were amazing. These are some of the best onion rings I have had. I love this little bar and feel. This is the kind of place I want to make my local go to place. The service was great and friendly. We went to ask for refills and we were getting them delivered before we asked. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
It's a dive bar. It's an awesome dive bar. It's an awesome dive bar with what I believe is one of the best dive bar griddle burgers in the nation. I was brought here by a friend and his insistence that this is one of the best in the nation held up. At his recommendation I ordered the Super Deluxe, double cheese, I added green chilis, grilled onions and bacon, and somehow got mushrooms too. What was presented left me with tears of joy after the first bite. Service is friendly, even apologetic that I had not been served immediately, not their fault I was hiding in a corner. If you're looking to accelerate your next trip to the cardiologist go there, order the burger and be happy.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic experience at this bar! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, friendly vibe. The standout of the evening, though, was our bartender, Jazz , and made sure every guest felt right at home. Food is always great and drinks aren't overpriced, if you're ever in the area, make sure to visit--ask for Jazz, and you won't be disappointed! A solid 5 out of 5 stars

Yelp
They literally turned away 3 paying customers to accommodate free pool table players... apparently you can't sit at the tables beside the pool tables when people are playing...tried getting my food to go considering the circumstance but they wouldn't even offer that. Customer service is by far sub par

Yelp
I popped into Harvey's for the Sunday night football game and a bite and this place is absolutely amazing every single time. I appreciate the great job they do on their food! I ordered the Deluxe cheeseburger and this thing is not only so delicious, it is a monster! Truly this is a great value. I do have to mention that this is a very small place and little staff, basically a very small bar. So be prepared to have a wait on evenings in which they are busy or if there is any major sports going on or events in the area. Enjoy some drinks and time with your friends while you wait for the dinner, it will be well worth the wait!!!!

Yelp
I confess that I have driven past this place more times than I can count over the years, yet never made it in for the burger, until now. My loss. Those of you still in this boat, you need to correct this mistake at your earliest convenience. Lunch service was on point, my glass of iced tea was always filled, and the burger itself, you're not going to find a better value. Long live Harvey's!

Yelp
Best burger in Phoenix! Fresh patties made to order. Good drinks, friendly bar tenders, good food. It's in our top 10 favorite places to visit. Pool tables, darts, some Touch Tunes and I'm in!

Yelp
Terrible service. I went in for a burger, but had to wait over an hour for it and was treated so badly by the older waitress. I don't recommend.

Yelp
You already know what it is, the place is a Phoenix staple. You go get a wine burger and you sit down and enjoy it. Never had one like it anywhere else.

Yelp
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Harvey's was disappointing enough to warrant one. From the moment we arrived, they were inattentive and unfriendly. We were told that they could not serve us until after 3 it was noon. We were told that they could not accommodate our party size. We offered to wait and split up and we were still told no. We took a ride share from the east valley to take an out of town friend to experience one of there awesome burgers. We will not be back so disappointing.

Yelp
The waitress came and asked what we were drinking, we said we're good with water, and we're ready to order. She said can I see your IDs, and I figured we were drowned out by the noisy bar, so I clarified that we said water. She went on to explain, obviously agitated, it was a requirement after 7pm, I said oh I didn't know. She said you should learn to not question the bartender, don't waste your breath, and turned and walked away. Didn't really feel like we were off to a great start, so we just walked out, too. The burgers aren't worth hostile service.
