We like a location near where we live and were happy to find out there was one near the location of a business meeting while we were in the Chinatown area of Houston. We arrived just before the start of their lunch rush so there was not wait to get seated. The atmosphere was similar to the location near where we live and the staff was just as friendly and attentive as we experience there. We tried the pork special and it was well worth it. Simply delicious if you enjoy Korean style bbq. An overall excellent experience well worth the price. Definitely consider giving this location a try of you are in the area.

Was here for family gathering and everything went pretty well. Ordered the $149.99 combo for 6 people, it came with ribs, brisket, ribeye steak, pork shoulder, pork belly, and squid. The waiter helped us to cook. All the meat is fresh, and they offered three different sauces for your needs. They gave you free kimchi as well. A great place that for families and friends. Definitely will go back again

The food was good-ish. The environment is good for a big party, but I wouldn’t say its good for a small group of people. I went there for my 20th birthday and it was absolute mess. We had to scream just get service, just to order some food. Idk what it is but they seem to have guest prioritization. Also the table cooking stove had leaks, it was all over the place. And “All you can eat”? They have limits on the most good stuff.

Excellent food and service. Our waiter Kai was very attentive and helped us cook our meat the right way. Side dishes are good as well . My kids love the piggies decor in here

I came here to celebrate my 25th birthday, and unfortunately it turned into one of the worst and most frustrating dining experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve had issues with the service in the past, but since this is one of the few Korean restaurants that can accommodate a larger group, I decided to give it another chance. First our server was extremely rude from the beginning and kept rushing us to order, even though some people in my party weren’t ready yet. She repeatedly complained about our party size (we were only 12 people) and mentioned that they “usually don’t do big parties because it gets confusing.” If they did not want to accommodate us, they could have told us upfront so we could have taken our business elsewhere. What made the situation even more uncomfortable and upsetting was noticing how the server was noticeably friendlier toward other tables specifically those with Asian customers, while being dismissive and making comments in Korean about our table full of Latinos. On top of that, we were automatically charged 18–25% gratuity per check, which would have been understandable had the service matched the added charge. To make things worse, when I requested my birthday cake, they placed the candles directly on top of the edible photo and completely ruined it. I tried to stay positive while my family and the staff sang to me, but I was honestly very upset and wanted to cry. This is the only Korean restaurant where I’ve consistently had poor service, and after this experience, I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

The food was really good! I liked that the 찌개 was not very salty and was honestly pleasantly surprised by that. But it felt very awkward to be sitting in the middle by the HUGE roundtable as a single person. Really wish there was a better sitting option for one person if they are to offer lunch price for individual menus.

Our group loves Korean BBQ — it’s always a go-to favorite for gatherings — so we were excited to try this AYCE spot. While the ambiance and decor were nice, and the K-pop playing throughout helped set the theme (even if it’s not our personal favorite), the overall experience left a bit to be desired. The meat quality was just okay, and the service felt rushed, which made the whole experience honestly kind of stressful — and dining out should never feel that way. The side dishes were small, and the price was on the higher end, especially considering the overall quality and pace of service. We still enjoyed our time together, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to both the food and the flow of the experience.

I actually drove all the way down here so that I could get my bowl of Yin Yang soup from Kyuramen, but on a whim decided to give this place a shot. I had the AYCE level 1. My best friend is a vegetarian and they were able to accommodate her with a bowl of soup that she greatly enjoyed even though she said it was too spicy (that's on her, not them, trust me she just cannot handle any spices at all!). The sides were slow to come out which I found surprising since they were the least expensive thing I was being served. The pork steak was inedible due to the amount of Crystal and muscle in the cut. The fish paste, edamame, brisket, pork belly, and other items that I had were quite tasty. I liked it, but it does not merit a second 2-hour drive for me.

It's my go to Korean Bbq place in Chinatown. The ambiance is unique (open space layout) It could get crowded on the weekend during meal time. Plenty of nice meat options but not all you can eat type of option like other bbq places. The staffs are always nice. Parking space can be difficult on the weekend (it's Chinatown). Overall is very good.

Ok so first off, 25$ for 1/2 the standard order of beef brisket is just WILD. how do people justify the price cause no freaking way are they charging that much for substandard beef and its not even an open flame grill. for 25$ i can go eat Handam BBQ down the street and get quadruple amount of brisket for the same price. theres no justification for their prices and i wont be coming back here or telling people of this restaurant.

I don't want to go bacon anyone's heart but Honey Pig was just ok for me. I think this had more to do with me on this particular day than the restaurant. I'll start with the ambiance. The ambiance is really cool and modern. I thought the place was decorated cleverly with the pig theme and the seating is laid out very spaciously. There is definitely a party type of vibe in here. The music is pumping and the screens are playing videos. It is definitely a place you want to go with a larger crowd. If you are looking to have an intimate moment over lunch or dinner, it won't happen here. This is by design, as it is standard procedure for the waitstaff to assist you with the cooking. I don't have an issue with that in theory but sometimes I just want to have a conversation with whoever I'm eating with. No problem with waitstaff checking in but they do it a lot here. Again, this is not a complaint on the restaurant as this is part of the experience. This is more of a PSA to anyone wanting a quiet intimate meal. You should come here when you're in the mood to be boisterous or engage with the staff. The food was good. I enjoyed the ban chan. The one thing that I did not really feel was outstanding was the corn cheese. There was nothing wrong with it but it just tasted like corn with cheese melted on top of it. I was hoping for more of a flavor to it. All of the meat tasted great. It's hard to go wrong with meat coming fresh off the grill onto your plate. I ordered the spicy beef tofu soup and it was good but not outstanding. The big steamed egg was also very good. The standout for me was the Korean kimchi pancake. I devoured that. One thing that I noticed was that the service is very fast. The food was coming out faster than I could eat and the table was brimming with food. This isn't a knock on the restaurant but something to keep in mind if coming alone or in a smaller group. The food will come out very fast. In the end, I may have to come back with a larger group and appetite to truly appreciate the experience that Honey Pig has to offer. I would recommend this place if you are feeling festive and very hungry!

We ordered the Pork Combo, Corn Cheese, and a Half Order of the Kalbi Beef Rib. Everything was delicious! Our table of 3 could not finish everything but I think it would be enough for 4 people. The staff was helpful every step of the way and took time to explain each cut of meat as they cooked it. The vibes are very casual and homey, with lots of adorable pigs hand painted around the walls and menu items plastered everywhere.

First, the shared parking lot is stupid. There's parking but you gotta park a bit far bc it's pretty packed and it's a madhouse in that area. Anyway, the restaurant is SO FREAKIN LOUD. The music is on blast so everyone is trying to talk over the music so it's extremely uncomfortable and of course the smoke smell isn't well controlled. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Our table was so tight yet we still couldn't carry a conversation. Food was ok. Not worth the stress and money. We ordered a bunch of food but the kept forgetting to bring out our soju and our fried intestines dish. They brought the intestines dish out as we were paying the bill.

Great ambiance, super lively. Food is delicious and the service is very friendly. Came here and shared a bone in galbi and spicy pork belly. More than enough food, especially with the side dishes! The staff also gave us a free tofu soup and egg soufflé! So sweet of them! I'd love to come back

Honey Pig Restaurant at DiHo Square has been on my bookmark since it opened. It has cute pig decals on the window and on the menu. So adorable. I couldn't believe I haven't set foot in here until recently. I was looking for affordable meals under $12 in Chinatown area. It just so happened, I saw the easel out at walkway. It shows 3 items at only $10.99 each but only during lunchtime on Monday through Thursday. I came to try the Tofu Soup with Seafood and Beef Rib Soup. They were so delicious. With the amount of Banchan with rice, they filled me up. I would love to try the Vegetable Bibimbap next time. The restaurant has a party room on the side. Looks like it can fit over 36 people. It's same setup as the tables in the dining room.

We absolutely love this place when we are in Belair services. Great services fast they cook the food for you. They are tentative with all of your needs. I have never had a bad visit here my kids love how they play Korean videos on the TV screen whole restaurant feels like you're in small Korea.

This was a fun lunch with friends. The waiter helped us grill the meat and taught us about the process. The lunch portion for $49.99 fed all three of us. The dinner price increases to $99.99 and I personally wouldn't pay that. The steamed dumplings were delicious and spicy pork belly was worth the add on. There is a robot waiter which was so cool to see in person!

Honey Pig's expansion into Texas has been met with lots of praise and deservedly so. Initially I was puzzled as to why they wouldn't consider opening up in Spring Branch, the city's K-Town, but this Bellaire Asiatown location is just as suitable and is likely better for business. Overall, this place is authentic and reminds me of how it's done in Korea. There's a certain chaos in the ambiance, which is normal and appreciated. The setup is spacious, clean, and the ventilation is on point. KBBQ is more fun in groups, so consider making reservations if your party exceeds 10 people. Unfortunately this is not one of the all you can eat locations (#1), but the meat platters are where it's at. I usually prefer the premium combination of meats, which include pork belly, kalbi, ribeye, boneless rib, brisket, and pork deck with seafood. Additional a la carte options are available, so other meats can be added. Prices are not cheap, but I don't know of any à la carte Korean barbecue places that are. I was quite impressed with their haemulpajun, which was caked in seafood and the mandu (steamed and fried) was tasty. I also think their corn cheese is a fun addition as well as their tteokboki. Bibimbap fans will be happy to know there are multiple options, but I think barbecue is their best asset. For the folks who are complaining about staff stepping in to help cut and prepare the meats for grilling: This is incredibly normal. Let them help you. They probably know what they're doing when it comes to keeping these meats from burning. Another note about the staff is that they actually speak Korean, which is a nice change compared to other Korean spots in the loop. At the end of the day I think. Happy Pig is worthy of being included amongst quality KBBQ options. Their arrival gives me hope for the constantly changing houston dining scene. __________ (#1) Only in Maryland and Virginia.

It's a little more costly than other Korean bbq places but it's good. I think the main difference is they come to the table and cook the meat table side for you. They turn it and take it off the hot plates for you and all of that. The staff is very attentive and you'll always have someone around. For two people we ordered. A half order of ribs and a beef order and it was a lot of food. Plenty of food even if one person has a big appetite. It came to about $70 with 2 drinks. The atmosphere is whoa! It's sensory overload. Music, lights, posters on the wall, little painted pigs on the booths. It's just a lot but it's a cool atmosphere. Definitely bring visitors to Houston. It's a cool vibe and good service.

3 stars for the food but I'll round it up to a 4 because our server Khoa was fantastic. He was quick, helpful & attentive to our table. We came in on a Friday & there is no lunch special which I thought it was from Monday-Friday but it's actually just Monday-Thursday. I do have to say that their pricing is a bit high but it'll filled you up. We decided to order their pan fried dumplings, beef brisket & beef bulgogi. It also comes with some sides which was limited & they also give you some soup, steamed eggs & white rice. I'll start with the sides, they were pretty horrible in my opinion. The only item that was good was the salad. It was simple & the sauce was delicious, I think it was some kind of garlic sauce. The soup was terrible, bland & odd tasting. The steamed egg was just as bad. The dumplings was good but it didn't come out piping hot. The beef brisket was alright but the dipping sauce (sesame oil with salt) made it taste better. The bulgogi was good but needed to be marinated longer. What I do like about this spot is that the servers pitch in to help you cook the food. I do understand we go for the experience & getting to cook the meats ourselves but it was nice having our server help us out. I also like the grill matter of fact I actually loved the grill. It doesn't need to be changed & it cooks very well to where your meats don't burn & having the whole place smell like burnt food. Overall, it was a fairly decent experience. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but it's definitely good enough for me to come back again. Solid 3 stars for the food.

Honey Pig was straight fire! Literally and figuratively haha. Their grills are really strong, and the food was on point. You can really tell the quality of the meat here compared to the AYCE spots in Houston. I don't know why I haven't come here sooner. We ordered their beef combo because it's a better deal than trying to order each of the meats a la carte. We came here as a party of 3, but honestly the beef combo was enough for a party of 4 to split. It came with LA beef rib, bulgogi, beef brisket, ribeye steak, and boneless rib. Their banchan was delicious as well and came with a wide variety including steamed egg and miso soup, my favorite is the fish cake though. The real star of the show here though is their service. They were attentive and had extremely fast service from the moment we sat down. The waiters cook your meat for you, and they even have robots that deliver the meat to your table. I loved that each table has an adjustable vent hood as well so you never leave smelling like Korean bbq. My only complaint was that inside the restaurant was a little hot from all of the strong grills cooking. And their seats are not comfortable unfortunately. Overall though, Honey Pig is a 5/5 for their quality of meat, flavor, and attentive service. They offer a lot of different soju flavors as well, but we didn't drink on this particular visit. We'll for sure come back again though to try their other options. Enjoy!

Went here for lunch on a random Friday and really enjoyed it. We got the Galbi beef (full order) and it was PLENTY for two. Price may look a bit expensive at first look but when you add up all the Banchan and excellent service, it's definitely worth it. Will be back for sure

Went there after landing from my flight and it was just what my family and I needed! It wasn't busy at all so we were able to get seated and the servers there were all really nice! They kept checking in on us and helped us cook out meats. The layout is very spacious and clean. They had k-pop music playing and they'll celebrate your birthday month if you tell them. I got the premium combo for a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). The meat wasn't marinated (other than the spicy marination) the dipping sauce didn't really help. But the spicy one did have a really good kick to it. For the wonderful service I would definitely go back for more!

Recently a co worker recommended this as her favorite Korean restaurant. Lately, I've been going to a lot of mediocre ones so I was excited. I remember this place being packed so we were skipping it. But recently there is a new Ramen place next door that is getting a lot of buzz, so there was not a wait for our party of 6. First off, I love the decor especially the tables in the middle. There are personalized vents that suck up all of the smells as you're cooking so when you leave you don't smell like meat. As far as the food, we ordered the premium combo with basically comes with all of the beef and pork meats. It also comes with a tofu soup and egg soufflé along with 3 bowls of white rice and all of the Korean side dishes. This was plenty for 4 adults and 2 kids with some to spare. The quality of the meats were superb. My favorite being the beef belly. By far my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in town.

Let me just say the staff here is beyond amazing! They are very good at checking on you to make sure everything is cooking well and you have everything you need to enjoy the full cooking experience! Also, if your waiter/waitress is busy with other customers there are wait staff ready to go the extra mile to step in and help! Since, we had a birthday we chose the premium pack that is enough for about 5/6 people. It has a mix of beef and pork. The types of meats are beef rib, ribeye, pork belly, and squid. Please note they give tons of side dishes like white rice, egg soup and/or tofu soup that will add on to the protein. In addition, the pack also includes a side salad. What I love the most is the fixins that come with the protein including Kimchi, honey pig garlic sauce, sesame oil for your taste buds. You will be more than pleased with the portion! Now, if you are not in a big group I would recommend getting your fave protein with a soup or make it a rice/noodle. They have all the drinks known to soda to water to alcohol so I would recommend trying the Korean juice, wine, or beer to enjoy with your meal. There are tons of seating for big families or couples. Enjoy all the Korean art around the restaurant and advertising of the food. Be prepared they also play music videos throughout the restaurant so it does get a bit loud. Go outside the box and try this delicious spot!

I LOVE THEIR COLD NOODLES!! honestly i would give them 4 stars because their music is so darn loud i can't hear anything and i have to scream when i try to order or talk to the people i'm with but cold noodles makes it 6 stars. 6-1=5

No reservation necessary on a weeknight. I went to honey pig on a Thursday at 7pm and was seated immediately. I ordered the beef bulgogi, seafood pancake and some white grape soju. This was the first time I've been to kbbq where the staff has cooked the meat for me! It was honestly a relief because I typically get a little nervous about getting lost in conversation and then burning my food. The bulgogi flavor was great and the meat was cooked nicely. The seafood pancake was different than any other I've ever had. I would say this is more like a seafood waffle - very batter heavy and thick! It's still delicious I've just never seen one that large before and it was way more filling than i expected before of this. Overall this was a quick and easy outing and I'd probably go back. The only weird part of my outing is that there were at like four birthdays while we ate dinner over the course of an hour and...it's wild - they turn off all the lights, blast a birthday song, a robot comes out?? and they pass out sparklers. Four times in an hour was extreme and kind of annoying but I imagine that was just a terrible coincidence and that it's not normal for that to happen.

Wanted to visit the ramen place that's next door but they are still in their soft opening. We opted to eat here instead. Place is so cute. Waitress cooked our meats which we appreciated but drinks took a while and requesting items took a bit also. Premium Combo $149 (I think) 5/5 Was able to feed 7 adults! Lots of meats. Very tasty. Last Intestines 1/5 Super chewy. we thought this was the large intestines and was wrong. This was chewy and tough to eat. Took a while to cook also. Pancake 3/5 Big portions but flavor was soso. The crispiness was tasty tho.

Food: 9/10 Ordered the Half-Order Kalbi and the Mul Naengmyeon. The Kalbi was almost perfect. I think they cooked it a bit too long cause it was on the chewy side but it had good flavor. Next time I'll let them know I like mine on the rarer side. The Mul Naengmyeon was great. Very refreshing and they provide the mustard and vinegar like all Korean restaurants. I love that icy soup. Banchan were good as always and the steamed egg (not pictured) is always fun to eat. Service: 10/10 There was always someone to help and didn't mind when I asked for extra Banchan. Super helpful and friendly. Ambiance: It's got the Korean bbq vibe. I don't know how to explain it. It's fun, loud but not horrible. I liked it. I wish they had regular chairs at the grilling tables. Sitting on those stools kinda hurt after a while. Other than that, I really enjoyed myself.

Came with a friend and we had a great meal. Our server was very attentive. I love that they have aprons for you to put on so you don't have food splatter. Good quality meats.

I came here with some friends end of last year for a group dinner. Its definitely a different vibe for korean bbq but I loved it! The way their menu is organized, we had to order platters of meats that they had at a preset rate which we definitely ordered 3 platters because we had a group of 8 of us together around 2 round tables in the center. We would cook but sometimes the waiter would come by and just cook everything for us and cut up the large meats also which was nice but I wish it was more consistent. The meat was definitely tasty though! We saw someone having a birthday party and the waiters came out with glow sticks and all fun types like a Rave and they played loud music just for that group celebrating the birthday! It was like a korean boy band concert which was really fun! Would definitely want to try it again because the meats were tasty but would want to go with a group to split the pricing since it's also expensive for 2 people but 1 platter is enough food for a couple.

I love honey pigs cold noodles and pork belly combo! Please tell me you've tried it?! If you haven't, what are you even waiting for? Honey pigs cold noodle broth is 10/10, it hits every time, combine with their crispy pork belly, omg! SOOO GOOD! 10/10 would recommend! Serve here is always so great too, everyone is so nice and the vibe is chill. If you're in Houston come eat at honey pig for all kbbq cravings!

My friends and I's favorite affordable KBBQ restaurant in Houston! We try to come on a weekday lunch since the lunch combo then is the best deal. I always come with two others and find that the lunch combo is still quite filling for all of us. Recently we came on a weekend and got the pork combo. The service here is top notch. They typically grill all the meats for us but you can also do it yourself if you'd like. They give us so many sides, bringing us extra kimchi, bean sprouts, green onion kimchi to put on the grill and lettuce, jalapeños, garlic, extra sauces to make lettuce wraps. There's just so many foods and flavors that I'm never tired of what I'm eating, and the whole experience is great! I thought all the cuts of pork besides the pork bulgogi in the combo tasted delicious (nothing wrong with the pork bulgogi but just think it's okay). Overall, everything is so good and my friends and I are always super excited to come back!

First time trying honey pig yesterday . It was good first time experience . This place is not an ACYE so don't expect all you can eat. it's a "a la cart" type place. Overall the quality meat good quality. Also they cook for you! So leave it to them because they know how to cook the meat to a certain temperature for the best experience! We got the family selection for $139 ( it feeds like 7-8 people) . The service was very attentive for the cooking experience. I like how this place has a button when you need service attention. So service was on point ! This place is located in the plaza so you have plenty of space to park, but since it's located in the heart of Bellaire parking can still be hard to find if it's busy because it is located next to a grocery store.

HOUSTON, TX / KOREAN / 02-11-23 / LUNCH +The customer service was excellent except where they tried to charge us three extra bowls of rice for $3 each. The waiters were amazing but the lead, Korean-speaking gentleman disappointed us with the extra rice billing tactic. +The meat quality was decent. -The restaurant was a bit untidy. They had the ready-to-be-used grill pans just stacked on the floor alongside the charcoal holder canisters. I get 165-degree heat and flames will kill most of the bacteria, but come on guys. -They over-seasoned the meats with peppercorn. -The pork belly was but too extra, super fatty for some members of our party. -They didn't offer three sauces like some of the other Honey Pig locations. Overall, this Honey Pig location is okay. I wish Mickey would open a high-end Korean steakhouse concept.

We love Honey Pig! I've been several times, especially when they first opened and it's a good staple here in Houston. Services is good even thought they are always packed and busy. The vibe is definitely Korea vibes with the pigs, drawings and music. I absolutely love it. Meat quality is superb and it's definitely a lot of food depending on what you get. We ordered the Premium Combo and it was enough food for 6 people! Definitely worth the price too! I love that they help you cook the food as well! Parking is plenty... definitely check it out!

I've gone to this place on two separate occasions (one on my birthday in which they stopped everything and sang a birthday song with sparklers) and the food is always good and one thing I especially like is they help you cook it (I'm not confident in cooking meat throughly) so it definitely is a sigh of relief when they help you and at the end they provide yakult like drinks

Came on a Thursday afternoon and was able to catch the lunch special. It comes with 4 meats ( thinly sliced pork belly, pork bulgogi, beef brisket, and beef bulgogi) for $42.99. Upon arrival the restaurant was not busy. Our waiter was attentive and made sure that everything was okay. Meat quality is good. Compared to other kbbq places there are less bonchons and honey pig only have one dipping sauce.

This is definitely one of my top Korean bbq places to eat in Houston. It is very casual vibe and the servers do cook the meat for you. It is not AYCE and is a la carte, so be prepared to splurge a bit here if you are coming on an empty stomach. This place also does get packed really fast on a Friday/Saturday evening, so be prepared for a very long wait if you go during those peak times. What we ordered and would get again: -beef brisket -thinly sliced pork belly -kalbi beef rib -bulgogi I absolutely loved the quality of the meat here. What we ordered was just between 2 people, and we were extremely stuffed. I definitely will return to try out other options here!

This place is well-deserving of a 5-piece right to the face. I came here last night with a group of 7 people and we were taken care of so well. As soon as we were seated, the staff brought out a ton of standard Korean BBQ sides, similar to any other KBBQ spot. Where this place has an edge, however, is the quality of their food and the service that comes with it. We ordered a ton of really delicious meat, all of which was cooked for you by the staff. I've been to other KBBQ places in the past that require you to do your cooking - which is fine, but not nearly as fun. The ambience was awesome too. Really casual and great for big groups. Price for 7 people (including food, soft drinks, alcohol, and sides) was roughly $450. That price is probably a little higher than some other places in Houston, but then again, you're paying for quality and service. All in all, I would definitely come back here.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I staff is always so friendly and they make sure to keep an eye on you in case you need help with your meal! The environment was very lively and a great place to have a social setting with friends! The meat is great and for a great price for the bundles. Be sure not to eat before because this place will stuff you!

This is one of the prominent Korean bbq options found in Chinatown. The open dining room is pretty hip. There's several big screens blaring k-pop music videos, so if you're not into that, you've been warned! They don't have an all you can eat option here, but honestly that's not a bad thing. The quality of the meats is better, and you won't need to leave being wheeled out due to sheer gluttony. Given the name of this restaurant has pig in it, my friend and I ordered some marinated pork belly and pork bulgolgi. The waitress cooked the pork belly on the grill, while my bulgolgi was served already cooked. Both were extremely tasty and flavorful. The pork belly slabs were big and fat, some of the best I've ever tasted. I certainly don't mind cooking my own meat, but having someone else do it allows you to just relax a bit without having to worry about it. Along with the banchan, the meal came with soft steamed eggs and a light broth soup, which was a nice way to cut through the rich meat. Definitely worth a return!

Service was lousy as we were first time there, read some good reviews and thought it is all the same like most Korean restaurant. There were really stingy with the appetizers, so only one round and no repeats . The Korean lady was real rude bcos we ordered one set of meal for beginner with 9 people not knowing what's the portion would be like. But after asking for water, bowls and plates which is not given to us freely , we decided not to order more and leave . Will not ever go back to this place , the ambience was lousy , loud loud music like in street stalls , blast my ear phones out couldn't hear a thing my friends say. Lousy service , lousy ambience but pretty good meat .

One of the best Korean bbq places I've been to. Premium packages were worth it. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They even gave my 3 yr old balloon

Came here on a Sunday with a friend, ordered the pork bulgogi and tteobokki. The bulgogi is a bit on a pricier side considering the portion size is for one person, but it was very tasty! Loved the sweet and spiciness of the meat, honey made the meat tender and balanced out the spice well. Loved the tteobokki too, just the right amount of chewiness. Great spot for large parties and to celebrate birthdays.

It's was our first time here, I loved the casual and upbeat esthetic of the restaurant, the place was full but we were able to get a table right away. This is not an All you can eat place, you have to order all your meats a la carte. Bulgogi beef was delicious, very tender and flavorful, I wish I could say the same for the ribeye, it was a nice cut of meat but severely under seasoned and we could not get anyone's attention to get more salt, At $39 for it, do you're a favor and skip this dish if you go. We never got the dumplings we ordered. We'll definitely be back to try some of their other selections

Went here for a friend's birthday and OMGG the meat was SOO GOOD it was SOO YUMMY!! The price is well worth the food. The steamed egg was also soooo delicious and fluffy. We got a beef combo and a pork combo for 6 people and it was the perfect amount of food. We didn't feel so overly stuffed but we were perfectly satisfied at the end of our meal. The waitress was so attentive and nice, too. The restaurant wasn't so busy at the time so she helped us with cooking for most of the time. I love the cute pig decorations all around, too! The vibes are great for a hangout with friends.

By far one of the best kbbq I had in a long time. Visiting Houston for the first time and we were craving meat! So this place pop up on our search. It did not disappoint. The side dishes, as well as the meats were very flavorful and fresh. Our server(s) was on par as they swing by every minute to make sure the meats aren't over cook or burnt. I would def go back.

Excellent spot if you're in the mood for quality, authentic Korean bbq and a chill atmosphere. My wife and I dropped in and were seated immediately. We ordered the premium combo which included LA beef rib, boneless rib, ribeye steak, pork neck, pork belly, spicy pork belly, pork bulgogi, beef bulgogi, beef brisket, and squid with sides of rice, soybean paste stew, and steamed egg included. All were delicious and came out at once. The quality and cuts of meat were excellent and the amount of food we got could have easily served 3 to 4. We also ordered the seafood pancake which was quite tasty with a nice crisp on the outside. The menu has a decent selection of soju cocktails though we ended up getting makgeolli. However, we were most impressed by the outstanding service. All of our servers were very attentive and friendly and grilled our food to perfection (though they do allow you to grill yourself if you'd prefer). As such, our grill did not have to be changed once as our food never burned. Another nice feature is that the vent hoods can be moved up and down, minimizing the amount of grill smoke at each table. Just as a side note, there is no AYCE option, however, the quality of meat was far superior to that of many AYCE Korean bbq places we've been to and we were more than satisfied by the end of our meal. We will definitely be back to try their tteokbokki and gopchang. Overall, I'd highly recommend!

Food: ordered the lunch combo $42.99 and it came with tofu soup and steamed egg. The menu said the Combo is for 2 people but I feel like it can be for 3 since the meat plate was fairly big portion. Deducted 0.5 for not cleaning the salad. There were a lot of rotted lettuce in the side salad. 4.5/5 Service: the server was very attentive and fast. He placed the meat on the grill and prepared the meat for us. When we're finished with the meat, he came and placed new meat on the grill. 5/5 Their ventilation system was pretty good. Each table has its own vent hood so the grilling smoke wouldn't be too smelly.

Came in for an early dinner at 6:30 pm and there were 2 tables. Seated immediately in a booth and ordered the $90 beef combo which had various cut of beef, a steamed egg, a miso soup, and 3 bowls of rice. Servers were friendly but they wanted to keep cooking all the meat cause they don't want the plate to be burned. We felt so rushed as we didn't want to eat room temperature meat. Couldn't they just turn off the gas until we caught up eating? I understand if there is a long queue of customers but that wasn't the case. It's a shame there is only 4 side dishes which is kimchi, pickled onion, fish cakes and daikons. We won't be returning as there are restaurants (Handam AYCE for $30 pp) offer more banchan varieties!

Great place for KBBQ! It's not an AYCE restaurant but portion is pretty hefty! It's definitely worth the money here and meat is very flavorful. They cook the meat for you so you can just sit back and relax with your party. Unlimited fish cakes to eat as well as other sides! This used to be my go to kbbq spot when it first opened up. Definitely recommend coming by here on an empty stomach, it's worth it!!

Some guys are small, but Barbi likes them BIG Some like liquor, maybe you should try a SWIG Some towns have bad traffic, they should do a BIG DIG And while they do, we should eat at HONEY PIG Some girls have pink hair, Barbi just wears a WIG Some girls wear Scrubs, but lately prefer a FIG Some girls can't dance, others like to JIG But all girls like when I take them to HONEY PIG WHAT Delicious Korean food right out of the DC area and fresh and delicious and bright and unique and fun, in the heart of Houston's Chinatown. One of the better Korean places in Texas, especially for soup. What to get: Soup! Yug Gae Jang or Seafood Tofu Soup What not to get: Anything from the Horse Trough Horse Trough???!: Oh wait, no that's at "Horsey Pig." If you want to go and get Korean with your bros from the neighbourhood, you should instead go to "Homey Pig." And if you want to go to a Disney-like soup shop with really cliché crap, try "Hokey Pig." Whereas if you are looking to get laid rather than get food, try "Horny Pig." This is a pretty fascinating and delicious corporate spot from Washington DC. It's a Korean Place full of amazing Kpop iconology that feels very Korean, but also very Japanese and very trendy and modern. Lots of young people working here, and lots of energy. The food actually tastes delicious which is a huge surprise. Everything here is good, and the prices are not bad. It's not right up there with our favourite Korean soups and Korean food that we get, but it's pretty damn close to being our fave, and there's no doubt that it's fun to watch sexy K Pop videos the whole time that you're here eating. It's a lot of great things going on here at this restaurant, and the only thing I would say is that waiting for a booth can be really annoying because the seating in the middle of the restaurant is a nightmare. Like upturned buckets and what not. I wouldn't mind if they had a few of those tables just for fun, but there's so many and they're often the only ones open, and they can kind of ruin the meal, being uncomfortable, sitting on a spot like that, and then having to wait for the few tables available that have nicer seating can be difficult and time-consuming, especially when it's disorganized, and some cut the line. But it's well worth the wait because it's delicious, and they're also open later than most Korean places, and what's more they are a top notch, soup-happy Korean Place located in Chinatown which seems pretty unusual and pretty awesome. Because Chinatown itself doesn't have that many good Korean places, especially ones that serve good Korean soup. And if the cute people here aren't enough for you and you're looking more for Playboy types, go to "Bunny Pig." If you want to date a comedian (like myself) try "Funny Pig." If Houston is too rainy for you, try the sister location in San Diego, "Sunny Pig." Or the Bank attached to it "Money Pig." Or the 2 places named after my jokes, "Crummy Pig" and "Corny Pig."

Food was decent. The corn cheese was mediocre at best. Service: they rush you to eat and get out. The server cooked our food even when we told her we could do it ourselves. They just kept cooking the food even though we weren't ready for more food to be cooked. But the time we got to the last batch they cooked, it was already cold. We were in and out in 45 mins. Didn't even get to enjoy anything. Ambiance: the vibes weird. The music they play is so loud, you can't hear each other or the server. They turned up the already loud music to play happy birthday (they also turn off the lights in the dinning room) and it was so obnoxious. The tables are circular, no room for anything. The 3 of us couldn't even find room to put our water. On top of that we sick shortly after we left.

I'm updating my review because I've been back multiple times... and I will keep coming back. The service is by far the best of all the kbbq restaurants. Food is always consistent... and I love this place forever

Amazing food and service!!! Enjoyed how they come around and help cook and cut meat for you. Not many Korean BBQ do this. It is a bit loud. Fun atmosphere. Go!!!

Kai/ Hai (?) & AJ were great table hosts! We opted for the $99 menu price point! So much food! Came with bonchans, rice, lettuce to make lettuce wraps, tofu soup, and a another type pf soup I can't remember. Def worth the price! The best thing is the guys cook your food for you! The vents move up and down! I have severe smoke allergy, but I pulled the vent down to vacuum all the smoke up. It was awesome.

Honey Pig fed me so well when I was a poor college student in Baltimore during the early 2010s, so when I was visiting a friend in Houston last fall and realized that the chain had opened a location there, of course I had to go back and see if the food here withstood the test of time and nostalgia. Happy to say that it did not disappoint! We ordered their brisket, spicy samgyupsal (pork belly), and jumuluk -- the brisket was excellent, and their spicy samgyupsal is always the star of the show. The jumuluk was my favorite back in the day, and I do wish the meat had been more tender (that day it was pretty tough to chew) but it was also pretty solid. And of course I love the egg souffle and kimchi stew that come on the side. We also tried the corn cheese (my first time!) and it was great. Maybe one day Honey Pig will expand up to Dallas, but until then, I'm glad there's an outpost somewhere in Texas for people to experience :)
