"This Southern vegan spot in the East Village is offering 20% off your takeout order when you call it in. But if delivery is your only option, you can still order dishes like chick’n and biscuits, a pulled pork sandwich, or an apple pie sundae straight to your door. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

One of the best vegan restaurants in the city. Their cocktail combinations are amazing. The restaurant has a dark setup and mild lighting. The waiters are very accommodating. Usually a busy place and you would need to wait for a table. The whiskey drinks are amazing. Don't miss the Buffalo cauliflower wings. Good for groups

Really enjoyed this vegan whiskey bar. Classy ambiance, what you’d expect at a whiskey bar. The drinks were great (we got the whiskey smash and whiskey sour, and asked for both to be not too sweet and both were delicious), as was the food. We ordered the seitan burnt ends, the cornbread, the chorizo beyond dog, and the hot wings (buffalo cauliflower). Everything was super tasty and the service was efficient and friendly. Will be back!

Brilliant exxperience all around- love the wild west saloon decor, fantastic whiskey/bourbon cocktails menu and most importantly the food! We tried 5 items and each was just unbelieveably tasty. I eat plant based and this was just a dream for me, by far the tastiest plant based meal i have ever had. I was with 3 meat eaters who were blown away that this was vegetable based. It is in a great neighborhood of fun unique dive bars as well, great spot to spend an evening (we went to Doc Hollidays and Coyote Ugly after then my most beloved 7b where a bunch of superhero shows/movies are filmed) Depicted is: 1: burnt ends with fried cornbread (our fave!) 2. cauliflower wings and fried pickled green tomatoes 3. corn ribs

Wow-what a find. We stopped at Death and Co. for a drink and we were tenth in line, so we put our name in and it was recommended that we go to Amor y Amargo or Honeybees. The former was way packed, and after walking 30,000 steps (all over NYC) we needed a place to sit. So we opted for honeybees. We are so happy we did. Beautiful speakeasy style bar, dark colors, low lighting—just a cool place. But the drinks put it over the top!! I had not a clue what I wanted so I asked our waiter for a recommendation. Based on my love of spirit-forward drinks he recommended New Boots. OMG! A little on the sweet side (but not too sweet) it was a taste sensation, complete with a little heat from the bbq bitters. I love finding new drinks that I can’t make at home. I loved this place - would definitely come back.

Great drinks and great food! Some of the best vegan mac n cheese I’ve ever had. The pulled pork and six-layer dip were also amazing, and I’m not even vegan. Cocktails were stellar as well—I’m not much of a whiskey drinker, but I still loved them. Bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, with great facial hair! Highly recommend!

Came in for a couple drinks. The staff (Aubrey) and the other bartenders were awesome we ended up sitting at the bars for hours having great conversation and copious adult beverages. We will need to return asap to try some of the food.

Fun decor and moody ambiance. The fried chicken is amazing- tastes better than actual chicken. The blueberry cobbler was great too. The batter is very light and lemony. I cannot compliment our waiter enough! He was so accommodating and attentive. Excellent service. Honestly we were not expecting such friendly personal service in NYC.

This place is truly a gem. The interior is so delightfully decorated. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and delightful. The food was incredible, to be enjoyed by vegans and non vegans a like. I highly recommend the hush puppies. It is so hard to find a good hush puppy in this city and this place has the best. Every drink we got was artfully crafted, and perfectly balanced. Everyone should experience this dinning experience. I honestly can’t find any flaw.
