"Owned by service industry veterans, this industrial chic spot is known for its welcoming culture. The food is equally easygoing, with approachable items like brisket tacos, grain bowls, and buttermilk pancakes served all day. Takeout and delivery orders can be placed online; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in services." - Brandon Watson

"Acting as a sort of tribute to service industry culture—casual, affordable, inclusive—Industry in Plaza Saltillo in East Austin is an all-day/late-night cafe, bar, and restaurant (the original location is in San Marcos). The menu is huge, spanning everything from tacos and chile rellenos to smoked chicken sandwiches and burgers—so it shouldn’t be hard to find something well suited to your friend group’s six different dietary needs. "Industry, a new counter-service restaurant in San Marcos, is described as a celebration of life in the service industry. It will offer lunch, dinner, late-night service, and eventually brunch. The menu, centered around a smoker using Texas live oak, includes burgers, sandwiches, salads, and fried squash rings. The restaurant features mostly communal seating with servers available for additional orders. A ten percent discount is offered to those in the service industry." - Erin Russell

We have to give the staff two thumbs up. They were great and were always available. The servers and runners were the best part of the restaurant. The food, however, wasn't enjoyable. Plus they didn't have any ceiling fans or air circulation so the big old garage doors are thrown open for circulation. So the flies had free access to the restaurant and we fought off so many of them during our visit. The most enjoyable food we ate was the sweet potato fries. We want every business to succeed but we just cannot recommend the food. The restaurant is located in a prime location and you can see by the other reviews that a lot of people seem to really like the place. It's your time and money.

Good was very good but very different so it might take me some getting used to. Ambiance is the best! love the industrial feel and open space. Clean restrooms yes!!! grateful for the nice service.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making for a refreshing experience. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the music and the friendly welcome from the staff. The team was highly knowledgeable about the menu and eager to assist newcomers. This spot is definitely a must-add to our bucket list as we continue exploring Texas for great dining experiences!

Google
Atmosphere was vibrant, wait was long. Food was disappointing and restrooms dirty. The Mac and cheese was like from a box, fries were hot and crispy but felt like the potatoes were spoiled or old. And brownie under cooked and looked like someone took a bit out of it before serving it.

Google
Walked in here expecting average bar food but Industry proved me wrong. We ordered: Fish and Chips 👍 Fish Taco 👍 Industry Burger 👍 Fried Chicken Sandwich 👍 Wings 👍 Pork Belly Bites 👍 Green Chilli Queso 👍 Blistered Shishitos 👍 Mixed drinks were yummy. They offered Train Shots Special all day but only available when a train passed by so we waited. Once heard the choo-choo, we ordered 3 Sheep Dog PB Whiskey, 1 Astral Tequila and cheers! It was fun. Would recommend.

Google
The parts of our order that we got were great. I enjoyed the BBQ salad, especially the brisket. Their Saturday $5 bloody Mary was spicy, tangy, and well worth the price. They have counter, table, and patio dining tables. Parking is in a large free lot shared with adjacent businesses.

Google
THE FOOD My burger was nice. I did not like that chips is the default side, I would have expected it to be fries. Especially for a $12 burger. That aside, I liked it. my friend's brisket sandwich, he said it was way less brisket than he anticipated for the price point and he was still hungry. Overall, I'm impressed with the food compared to many other places I've been. I think that will be what continues to keep this place alive is the passion y'all have put into the ingredients and the menu. I see it, I respect it. Whoever designed the menu, nice job on the ingredients, the twists, the visual presentation was truly delicious. The plating choices, the food's look. THE SERVER This one server was super cool, I purchased a soda just so I could tip him $15. I like the vibe. I like how it's decorated. Nothing in this place absorbs sound. After 15 people are there, noise just bounces everywhere. That's an easy fix.

This is our first time eating there. They were three of us and we got three different items off the dinner menu. The fish and chips with sweet potato fries, the brisket tacos, and the industry burger. All were excellent. This food is some of the best bar food I've had. To me the best dish was the fish and chips. The breading on the catfish was minimal, and it had lots of flavor. My second favorite was the brisket tacos, they were excellent. The burger was great, the sauce they used on the bun was surprisingly good. I'll be back again. The service is good. We ordered on our phones via a QR code on the table. A little impersonal but it seemed to work. It's a bar, so expect it to be loud. We decided to sit outside.

Maria C.

Yelp
My husband and I visited the location on a Friday at 12:45. There was one other group siting already. We have never been to Industry. We've drove past it several times and finally had a chance to visit. Upon arrival we weren't sure to sit or order. We informed the worker we have never been here and he told us where the menus were. We ordered an appetizer and two rounds of drinks. We loved the industrial look of this building and the set up. When we went to find a table we noticed the first two we were deciding to sit at, we're not clean. The table we did end up sitting at was clean and it was in a nice spot. I feel that the restaurant has a nice feel and I would have given five stars had the employee recommended something off the menu or been more welcoming as we stated we were first timers. It was slow so in my opinion I just feel that was something I would have like to see. I'll be going back during that evening to update my review.

Yelp
Our party of 3 visited on a Saturday around 2 PM. It was a busy day, but we found a table out on the patio. Staff was super nice. We ordered the Smoked Chicken Tacos, Fish and Chips and we wanted the Smoked Half Chicken, but were told they were out of it, so we went with the Chicken Sando. Shortly later the staff came to us and said they were out of the Fish, so I had to order something else. Super disappointed because I had seen other tables with the Fish and it looked so good! I asked what do you have and she said they were now also out of bacon. I decided to go with the Brisket Tacos instead as they said this was a pretty popular item. We were craving some fries too so got the Chili Fries as well. I thought it was odd that you could not substitute your chips for fries. You have to pay full price for a side of fries if you want them instead. The Chicken Sando was the star it was very delicious! The tortilla chips and salsa were nothing special. The Smoked Chicken Tacos were alright. My Brisket Tacos were good and the fried onions paired perfectly with a nice crunch. They don't give you many chips. The chili cheese fries were pretty tasty. The chili has a nice flavor. I am curious why they had run out of so many food items so early in the day. The staff was very apologetic about it though. If I go back I definitely would order the Chili Cheese Fries, Chicken Sando and I want that Fish & Chips!

Yelp
Food was surprisingly good, I saw it more like a beer spot but was happy to find out they had good food as well. We had nachos with chicken and shrimp tacos. I feel like some beer spots have no good food, so I was happy their food was. Their margaritas weren't good, I didn't even finished it. Beer selection though is nice. Spot is nice for when the weather is nice, yesterday was cold and rainy and the restaurant is very open so not a good idea.

Heather W.

Yelp
Casual brunch spot with good drinks, love music, & nice patio Sunday brunch at Industry was casual and fun. Easy online ordering so you can get your own check even when coming with a large group. The open garage doors are a great design! There was a strong breeze and giant umbrellas so we sat on the patio and listened to some nice country tunes! Daniel Davis has a great voice and is definitely worth planning a visit when he is playing. The pancakes were delicious - actually a stack is big enough to share so that way you can sample more items on the menu. I didn't like the margarita so I'll stick with Zelick's for a marg. But the margaritas were good - the cranberry was a little too sweet to do a carafe. It was a nice surprise to have creamy scrambled eggs - usually restaurant eggs are dry and overcooked. The live edge tables and cool bar design are a nice touch. Industry is great for brunch or late night happy hour.

Lena F.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Drink selection and food was really good as well. Friendly staff. Would go frequently if we were local.

Shaili B.

Yelp
I found this place on Yelp! It was one of the most rated places in the San Marcos areas So we decided to go for dinner! As a vegetarian, I liked they had options! I got the Italian strawberry soda- I am also glad they explained what you will get on the menu- it was quite literally sprite with strawberry syrup. If you wanted cream you could ask. It was very very sweet but that was expected. I got the creamy pesto pasta and a side of mac and cheese. The Mac and cheeses was separated and I was hoping for more creamy Mac and cheese. It also wasn't well seasoned. There seemed to be nothing too special about this place which is why i gave it this rating.

Yelp
This is the first review I have made for a restaurant in my entire life. Awful. You get there, stand in line, order your own food, then the iPad tipping game begins. 18 percent is the lowest option for a restaurant where you stand in line to order your food, you get your own silverware, and do literally everything yourself. The kid taking my order was visibly angry when I only tipped 10 percent. He then brought out my bottled beer and the top of the beer was completely destroyed with jagged glass. He had to have done it on purpose because he immediately sprinted away after handing it to me, so I couldn't be like, "Hey man, my beer is completely destroyed" that guy sucked. We then spotted one of the chefs in the kitchen, he was handling food in the kitchen, with a tissue stuck up his nose like he just had a nosebleed or something. Gross. Another gross thing, the only urinal didn't flush. Another gross thing, the cups with our waters were dirty. Gross. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the price, and it is not a sit down place, it is the same dining functions as In and Out. The margarita my girlfriend got was absolutely terrible. How do you mess up a margarita? The food was not worth the price. There is better customer service at McDonalds. Also, went with a group of 3 couples, one tipped 20%, we tipped 10 percent, and the other tipped 5 percent, and that is the exact order we got all of our food. The couple that tipped 5% was missing practically their entire order(food and drinks) .Coincidence? Maybe, I think not, see broken bottle for evidence. This place is an example of what happens when late stage capitalism and tipping culture get freaky and have a baby. You don't want this baby he sucks.

Erica M.

Yelp
This place was good not great. The food was terrific! I had fish tacos and they were juicy and had just the right amount of sauce, etc. The corn tortillas did not fall apart. They also had a decent selection of beverages on the menu and they had those fun big ice cubes for cocktails. But, the ambience of the place was a little bit too "prison cafeteria" for my taste. There's industrial chic and there's feeling like you're sitting in a dentist chair. Also, the service was lackluster and I had to repeatedly flag the server down to order a drink vs. being asked proactively, even though there were very few people sitting at the bar. Meh, they were taking me for granted.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Thank you Yelpers! Great little find, from recommendations, as we were passing through San Marvelous! Fantastic menus with a different twist on the norms - in a good way. A little hippy healthy, too. Loved our choices and want to stop again to try more things on the menu. I had the Industry Bowl Salad and my husband has the smoked cheeseburger Benedict on an English muffin. Both were super tasty! Near vibe and chill atmosphere, with a small patio to enjoy outside, as well. [They had a band set up, but they were testing audio for about an hour - so we didn't get to hear them.] Definitely a great stop to go hang some time.

Jeslyn N.

Yelp
Me and my bf went during the afternoon on sunday and we thought this place was so cute! it was such good vibes and there was also a live band playing country music. We thought the food was sooo good, especially the green chile queso with added brisket (although it was a little on the cold side)! The only thing was the guy who took our order kinda had an attitude and didn't have basic manners but other than that we had a great time!

Candace B.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Industry. I stopped in for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious; fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon and the tater tot casserole was oh so yummy. The service was a zero as in there was no service. I grabbed my drink at the counter then sat at a table on the patio and ordered my food using the QR code. Other than the food being dropped off I did not have any wait staff stop by my table but did see wait staff stop by other tables to inquire about their meals and offer refills. Perhaps this is how their restaurant works in regards to service or it was just an off day. Food-5 Service-0

Dawn G.

Yelp
Stopped here for the first time coming thru San Marcus on our way to Kerrville. It was excellent. The nachos were wonderful. Tacos and loaded bowls were enjoyed by others in our group. It's a nice place. They have a full bar and extra outdoor seating.

Daphne A.

Yelp
My daughter and I visited Industry for the first time this past Sunday. I am so glad we went! I love this place. First off, the ambiance was perfect. It has a great vibe! There was a jazz sax player performing which really helped to set the mood. We were there during brunch, so had to order off that menu. We ordered chili cheese fries for our appetizer, which were so yummy!! Then she had one of their pancake dishes. I can't remember the name but it had blueberries and smoked meat on top. Holy moly they were delicious!! Their pancakes are fantastic. I had the Brunch Bowl. It was also very good. It's not normally what I would have ordered but I wanted to try something different. Next time I plan on trying the tater tot casserole! My grandson has some French fries...he gobbled those up! I also had an espresso martini. That was the only thing I felt there was room for improvement. It was a little sweet and did not have that espresso flavor you would expect. You have to walk to the counter to order but they bring your food to you. ALL the staff were very friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend going to Industry. Before eating there, I didn't think San Marcos had a decent restaurant. But they do! And the prices were very affordable plus it's family friendly.

Michaela P.

Yelp
Ordered while trying out the beer nextdoor at Aquabrew. Easy ordering. Chicken and brisket tacos were both okay. That salsa is the bomb. I'd buy that shit in a jar at H‑E‑B any day.

Jenna M.

Yelp
Isaac is the Christmas gift you deserve, but you didn't know you needed. The sweetest, best espresso martini making, white dress shirt wearing, Shines with a smile on his face every step of the way, gone with the wind fabulous honey ,. He definitely knows how to turn a regular Monday night into something special, and we're here for it. Coming back for more laughs and those AMAXING martinis. But let's be honest Queen, we're coming back because the world needs more of you.

Andy O.

Yelp
Service was good, they were attentive and the food was okay the vibe and the ambiance was cool also. Nice for a drink and you could bring your kids here if you needed to

Tyler T.

Yelp
Love this place. The food is good. Fries are worth the trip alone. Definitely go here

Aarti P.

Yelp
Didn't know what to expect, but Sunday 'late' dining in the area is not the easiest. So glad I forced my colleague and myself to get out from ordering in fast food. The food was exceptionally tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. I expect to go back the next time my rotation has me in San Marcos.

Mya ..

Yelp
Fried Cauli Tacos (Vg) : 4/10 , tortillas bland and not toasted so it was kinda mushy texture when you take a bite. Would not recommend. Street Corn Salad : 3/10, corn wasn't cooked all the way and very crunchy. I believe it was an attempt to make true Mexican elote but was not very good. Would not recommend. Chili Cheese Fries: 8/10, very yummy would get these again. Industry Burger: 9/10, juicy burger and perfectly cooked.

Ashleigh J.

Yelp
Industry is always a great place for some mimosas and a great breakfast. They have a ton of variety and really do their food so well. I've had tons of different items from here and have never had anything I didn't really enjoy. The breakfast brisket sandwich is great! Although the food is good, its something to note that it's not a restaurant style service. Your order at the counter and take a number so someone just brings your food to you. I have been there numerous times all of which have been very dull interactions, nothing very friendly but nothing terrible. Parking is super easy as they have a big parking lot available.

Michael D.

Yelp
I got the brisket tacos with chips and salsa. The tacos were good, although they were very greasy to grab. When we first got our food, it did seem like it was not enough (their serving plates are too big for their meals) but we did end up leaving full and happy with our meal. Their sweet tea could be a lot better if it was actually sweet. When you first get there you go to the front and order your food which is then taken to your table. There is both inside and outside seating, however the inside seating will most likely not be "cool" since they have floor to ceiling wall openings. Will definitely try this place again in the evening.

Destiny R.

Yelp
The Fish and Chips were Also a great brunch spot for the fam! Can't wait to go back!

Molly C.

Yelp
(San Marcos specific) The food prep staff and management needs to pay better attention to the quality of their ingredients. The food is good, although in the burger that I had today, there was cartilage chunks and bone fragments in the ground beef. This could be a choking hazard for anyone and especially for a small child. I had to eat slowly and remove these inedible bits from my mouth. Do better for the sake of the community and the customers that keep your business standing. San Martians are not far from other restaurants here and in Austin that will provide everything and more than you do. Contemporary dining is cool, but you're doing it wrong when your ingredients and staff are subpar.

Irma D.

Yelp
Mulling over whther to post this since I hate giving bad reviews I've been here several times, mostly in a group when others pick the venue. Never been much of a fan of anything except for the fries and drinks, but I'll still order and keep my mouth shut like a good spirit. I've been trying to find a different item to see if there's that one star on the menu. Yesterday was last straw. Office picked up lunch for us, ordered fish and chips. Like always, took forever to arrive, so I ate at my desk. The batter: I kept biting and grease kept squirting out. Squirting, not dripping, or pooling. The fish tasted like cardboard and was pink and raw in places....until I got to the hard, gray middle. Fish and chips shouldn't have bone, so I couldn't figure out what it was.....stuck to eating the fries and throwing the fish away. Was a small meal, but wasn't hungry due to the cramps that came a while after. Like my intern said "I like food I can eat with a sober mind, and this isn't it"

Kristen O.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere here. Clean, wood tables with games to play and open air seating. My friend ordered the industry burger and said it was the best burger he has had in a long time. I had the industry bowl which was good and large but I wasn't a huge fan of the vinaigrette. My friend ordered the taco salad bowl which was also very large and tasted great. Service was all very friendly.

Cynthia C.

Yelp
We went to this place for lunch today in San Marcos. The website, the menu, the atmosphere, and even the live music seemed promising. It. Was. Not. I ordered a simple burger and fries. Husband and daughter ordered the chilaquiles. I asked for unsweet tea and when the guy gave me sweet tea, Iasked him if I could get unsweet and he sighed, rolled his eyes and fixed it. Brian ordered a pint of bud light but the guy didn't know what a pint was so he had to explain it was a draft beer in a glass "like this" and held his hands out. Should've known this was the beginning of the end. But we chalked it up to him looking like a newbie. Sat down and waited for 45 min for our meal. The food looked presentable when it finally arrived. (See photos ). The chilaquiles were not chilaquiles. They were literally mushy Cool Ranch Doritos with decent fried eggs on top....ALL COLD. My burger looked pretty decent as well but when I sliced it down the center it was ice cold and well, it was basically just out of the fridge. The juiciness on the plate most likely was the ice melting from the meat. The fries were...okay...but the burnt parm on top was awful but easily taken off, you know because there was no binding agent to adhere them. I found a server and asked how I could get at least a warm burger and he almost choked and pointed to the manager and said she cold help. I politely asked her if I could have it warmed up and she could care less and said she'd have a new one made. While The fam picked around their cold un-chilaquiles, I sat there for another 45 min waiting on my "new burger". I finally went up to the manager and explained I was still waiting on my burger and she coarsely said, "yea, I know. I'm having it made for you." So, instead of being nice this time I told her she needed to just make it to go because everyone had already finished eating. 10 minutes later, they brought out a wrapped and STILL COLD burger. I asked for a bag and the guy who didn't know what a pint glass was rolled his eyes and brought back a brown grocery bag. Like the size you'd get when buying copious amounts of groceries, y'all. Got back to my daughter's apartment and opened the burger (see photo ) and it was again cold but not only that. It was charcoal. Like, crispy, black, and about half the size of what originally was brought out. I seriously think they took one half of the burger I sliced in half and burned that shit and put it on a new soggy bun with cold onion jam and a shit ton of weird Mayo. For the love, do not go to this place unless you want cold, dead, over priced food with a side of attitude and an indifferent manager. If you've made it this far, kudos to you, you've done better than the employees at Industry. Best thing about this place was the live music. They were great. Hope they find a new gig or they won't be seen for long.

Jayden B.

Yelp
I can always rely on Industry to bring friends and family to. This restaurant has really cool vibes and I love attending the live music events!! My favorite dish is the CFC with queso

Dillar S.

Yelp
Food is ok. Ordered a chicken sandwich - sloppily covered in mayo/mustard - no pickles, slaw, or toppings that were advertised in the menu. Due to the QR style ordering it was difficult to get someone to help fix the order. Sweet potato hummus was good, but served with a tiny pile of chips and 3 slices of cucumber. Beer menu is a separate app and doesn't have the craft beer so be prepared to bounce around for service. Overall a cool place to hangout!!

Zacharee R.

Yelp
Made the unfortunate mistake of going to Industry on a Sunday while traveling through San Marcos. On three separate occasions, the on-site manager was rude, unwelcoming and disrespectful. We were willing to give the benefit of the doubt for one or maybe two instances, but after the third unprofessional comment from the manager, it was time to leave. Upon confronting the manager, he tried really hard to play the victim role and chalk it all up to a misunderstanding. Again, three separate occasions would make it highly unlikely they were all misunderstandings. Would highly suggest that ownership implement some type of self-development training to their leadership staff to help manage ego and improve overall communication.

Heather R.

Yelp
TLDR a-ok to I'm a fan despite some bumps My first time ordering for pickup. Everything was delicious, it was ready at the time promised. The big flaw was I didn't get the beer battered squash I ordered and paid for, but as Mr R didn't check the bag before leaving we cannot lay that all on them. It was a very busy night and mistakes happen. The other error was I didn't get the 30% off to-go booze still advertised on their online menu which is why this isn't 5* Mr R is besotted with their black bean veggie burger. I think there must be spice in the patty as none of the other listed ingredients explain its lovely low heat. He also likes the texture of the bean patty, he wanted me to mention that. The salmon burger was good, huge, nice fresh veg, I love the spice in the aioli and poblano ranch, but I REALLY wish they still did the smoked salmon bagel I had one brunch there long ago. The farm beet salad? Gorgeous. Mr R gleefully ate most of it on his own and he often eats salads with a sense of duty rather than joy. I loved the white balsamic vinaigrette it came with, I'm going to need that more often in my life. The drinks to go? Hooray! One note, bring your own standard brown pulp drink tray if you think you'll need one because they didn't provide one. The pours were fabulous on our mimosas, The Closer and White Box. Ice was the perfect amount. The transaction could have gone smoother, but the meal went down great. This remains a place Mr R wants to go *every* time he's in town.

Liz D.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. The burgers and nachos are so good. The prices aren't terrible also.

Tina W.

Yelp
Nasty!!!! The food didn't taste good and it was a waste of $68.00 fish and fries were one little piece of fish and a hand full of fries for $17. Not worth it and it says BBQ sandwich will the sauce tasted like vinegar and ketchup and hot sauce. And they put this sauce that looks like cane sauce on everything and that was nasty....... You want real BBQ and you are traveling like us go to Lockhart TX.or blacks. This is why I hate trying new things some times. But the stray animals we gave it to outside loved it.So now here we go going to go eat some where else. My son started throwing up right when we got to the truck. And I was typing this.Guys save your money and go some where else. And the funny thing is they asked how is it and I said nasty and she said ok and walked away.

Justin D.

Yelp
Did a search using the Yelp app, and the food from the industry caught my eye and the establishment. Shirt drive from Buda 20min or so.... caught a table for 8 pretty quickly on Sunday afternoon. Ordered chili cheese fries and cheese fries to munch on... food was ok... Got to ordering our food... kids strips came out, undercooked chicken. Burgers came out all medium/rare all undercooked. Fast forward its evening and wife, me and little one are throwing up. Damn. But it's my fault for not wanting to be a Karen and make a fuss... Either way - clients beware.

Levi M.

Yelp
0/10. Came in with a group of 5. Ordered Indy Breakfast Sand-witches and the Sweet Benny. Turns out they were out of the sweet Benny, so I changed my order to breakfast sand-witch. Then they come out again and inform us that they are out of English muffins so they had to put the breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Then they brought out the 4 with brisket ~15 minutes before I saw my bacon sandwich. They were out of Hollandaise sauce also. Brisket was dry and bacon was under cooked and extremely chewy. Don't come here unless you like lighting money on fire. Jo's Cafe or Kerby are miles better than this excuse of a restaurant.

Tonya C.

Yelp
Terrible service, good wasn't great and worst part was.. staff was kinda rude and harassed that we actually wanted what we ordered and paid for Not a great experience which is sad because it was a cool looking place

Oscar R.

Yelp
More of an meh. Wasn't bad, but nothing to write home about. Service was bad but they just opened and the guy was probably trying to do much. The flavor wasn't really there as I tried the pastrami sandwich and ended it off with a poorly cut cheesecake. I took pictures but then deleted them as it was an experience I'd much rather forget. Writing this post is bringing back a bad memory so I will leave you with that. Not bad, but probably not one I will ever visit again.

Rhonda S.

Yelp
Ok I don't have pics unfortunately cuz by the time we got here everyone was HANGRY lol I will say the queso dip was decent, the loaded fries were as well, tacos pastor BIG NO to uncooked corn tortillas however the chips and amazing salsa with it were good and so was the meat. The burgers were good. The drinks were ok, if you wanted anything not on their menu you had to order at the bar like a tequila ranch water however they had good tequilas. THE HUGE Deterrent was that you had to order on your phone and pay on your phone and tip on your phone and only be served your order afterwards and they never bring water without several reminders and we ordered 3 teas that we also had to remind them of a few times. It felt like the Walmart self checkout not my thing no one ever came to make sure everything was right?!? I guess if you are college kids hanging with a few friends maybe but not a family

Erin B.

Yelp
All of the servers were really nice and attentive. This is a order at the counter restaurant but the servers all have a POS with them so you can order drinks and other items from your table. The fish and chips were a fan favorite at the table. There was one little bone found in one fish, but that wasn't a huge deal. The fries were bomb and the chipotle sauce was to die for. The queso was delicious. The Chilaquiles had a egg on top that was cooked perfectly. You can't go wrong with the biscuits and gravy. On Sundays they do 3$ mimosas and 12$ carafes which was a perfect Sunday funday. The only thing I don't recommend is the salmon bagel, the bagel was burned and they forgot the cream cheese which made it super dry. They did replace the first one but the second one wasn't that great. Overall wonderful experience.

Yelp
2 stars so I hope they read this, The taste of the food was amazing but anything cooked was cooked badly :( The spice the taste of everything was amazing but the Elote we got was suuuuper soggy and a little cold I don't think that's the waiters fault because the corn was like it was boiled and left in water until it got cold until they grilled it for us to eat I've never had a wetter corn ever idk if anyone likes very wet $10 corn. The cook on the grilled chicken was super tough and over cooked! But the flavors are super good the sauces and taste of things just the cook was wrong! Would have give 5stars bc the ambiance and flavors if the cook was right! Thank you

Yelp
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it tasted good. But me and my boyfriend needed up getting food poisoning.

Yelp
They gave us the wrong number for our order so our whole party got their food and drinks before us. They should have a better system in place rather than having waitress walking around completely lost trying to find the numbers/table the food belongs to. Also, the food presentation needs MAJOR work! The photo is how I received my food. Would you be happy receiving your food looking like this??

Yelp
Great atmosphere!!! They had the window rolled up to enjoy the nice day. Went went for brunch on a Sunday. Nice menu choices! Hubby had the Bloody Mary and it looked awesome. He had the chillequilles and liked it. I had the sweet Benny. It was good but not OMG. Coffee was good but they were out of creamer. Got tots w hollandaise for an app but sauce had no taste. It's a cool place though. Nice staff. I'd try it again.

Yelp
Food is pretty good, not terrible. There are options for different diets. Service has been poor the last few times I've gone. Ambiance is great for a fast casual restaurant

Yelp
The service is awesome but they don't really care too much about food allergies. I got a meal, and they said that it was free and clear of my allergens, and I have been sick since I left the restaurant. I am on day two of being very very sick. I'm so sad. I knew I shouldn't of eaten the meal when my brunch bowl arrived to me as a weird mixing pot of wilted lettuce, only 2 tater tots and the most strange dressing (which I'm sure was full of what I was allergic to) I'm sad I trusted the people running the restaurant with my allergies. It's a cute place so I hope they take more caution in the future. :)

Yelp
I give this place a 5 star just on the restaurant ambience alone. Industry is open, fun and relaxing. The food is outstanding. We had the pork tacos and quesadillas which were excellent. The sweet tea is also a nice drink if your into teas. They have a patio area which is comfortable and allows for a cool indoor - outdoor experience. I'm new to San Marcos but this is going to be my first " go-to" when I need a great taco. Hands down a highly recommend!

Yelp
Interesting menu in a giant ice house (garage doors walls) with tables for twelve for teams or big parties. I was not embarrassed using one for me. I had a chili made from "all our smoked meats" that was very spicy and pretty filling with sweet potato fries and a blackberry and some exotic fruit drink that was yellow in the glass and did not seem blackberry at all, but it was ok. Staff was friendly, but the blackberry drink came mid meal. "That's from the bar," when I asked for the drink when my food arrived. I was glad I got a club soda when ordering.

Yelp
Food was amazing but service was eh. I've been to my fair share of food halls and similarly set up places, but this one was a little confusing walking in. Think hop daddy or a similar restaurant. Once you order at the front, grab your seat and make yourself comfortable. I stopped by on a Saturday early afternoon, and luckily enough it wasn't super busy. If you if anyone was wearing a mask. But since this is Texas I guess COVID doesn't exist. Onto the food! I ordered off of their brunch menu which was super delicious. The Chilla Quiles were enormous l!! I sat down at the bar, which was OK and really where my four-star review comes from. The bartender was nice enough, but really didn't seem interested in actually serving people. She's definitely one of those bartenders that wants to give you your drink and then get you out of her face. It wasn't super clear to me how to check out so I asked another random person that came by and they were kind enough to explain the process to me. Being from out of town, folks in Texas sure aren't as nice as we say we are. And I say this as someone born & raised in Texas.

Yelp
Cool location with a nice patio. You sit down and scan/order/pay from your phone. The table was super sticky! I went with a work group while traveling in the area. We all ordered different things. Food came out one at different times due to the order process, none of it was anything over a 4.5 on a 10.0 scale. Service was terrible. When one of the people in the group asked for a fork, the waitress rolled her eyes at him and walked away without saying a word. She did bring back the silverware. I did go inside and get water for the group, but I think this is the normal process. Many other options. I won't go back if I'm ever staying in the area again.

Yelp
Great food, service and environment. Open garage doors, dog friendly, but just missed the live music. Can't go wrong with their brisket tacos or one of their sandwiches. Cool place, we would definitely come back to try something else on the menu!

Yelp
Just found this place as I was driving down the road many times but, never stopped. I had a vegan in my car so I had to feed em. So, looked up that they serve a vegan/vegetarian menu. Gave it a try and do not regret it. The price was worth it. At almost $12 a plate. A Lil pricey for some like me that eat at taco bell. This was a pleasant surprise. The wait staff was very friendly even though it was a Friday night and it was past happy hour (dang it).
