Where to Find Jaw-Dropping Korean Food in Portland and Beyond

"Grillers can find the same savory solace at Kkoki Korean BBQ with less of the party atmosphere of K-Town. Nearly all of the spacious wooden booths have tables housing a gas grill, ideal for slabs of galbi. Diners can order standard cuts of meat a la carte or go for one of the all-you-can-eat combinations, with options like marinated and un-marinated pork belly, beef belly, and pork jowl. The premium option adds things like LA galbi, beef tongue, and gopchang — ox intestine marinated in a teriyaki-style sauce. When it comes to the sauces, red meat goes with the classic garlicky soy-based version and the pork with seasoned sesame oil." - Rebecca Roland, Krista Garcia, Lauren Yoshiko

One of the better Korean BBQ joins in the Portland Beaverton area. The only thing that kinda weirds me out and does not make any sense is the fact that there are no greens provided, but you have to order it on the side.

Google
This is mine and my husband's favorite place to eat. Yes, there are only all ypu can eat BBQ, but the quality of meat and sides are 100% not the same. Yes, this place can be a little pricey. We normally spend about $130-190 for the 2 of us. We always make sure to tip them at least $30-40 . You can not beat the quality. It's all about preference. The restaurant is small, so I would not recommend groups larger than 5. There is a required tip for big groups. So if you don't have a good amount of money to spend and an empty belly, maybe try something else.

Google
Fantastic and fresh combo options. The kimchi and other accoutrements were perfectly flavored. One of the best Korean barbecue places we've been to and very clean.

Google
This was our first time doing Korean bbq and it was petty Tasty. When we told the lady we hadn't done it before she was extremely friendly and explained it all and showed us how what to do. We got the $75 combination and it definitely could have fed 2 people. The pop carbonation was non-existent.

Google
Really wanted to love this place but the service was poor. I told them it was our 1st time and didn't feel like we got a good experience $60 and we had to hit fast food on the way home. Small small portions

Google
For complete transparency, the idea of paying to cook your own food at a restaurant is completely lost on me. Tried this place with the family because they wanted too. The staff was friendly and patient with us. The quality of the meat was good, not amazing but good. The pricing seems absolutely insane considering the meat is plain and the only preparation is slicing and presentation.

Google
This is a Great BBQ. I cooked for my party of 3. A very popular Korean community restaurant, my party was the only white folks for the majority of the night. Such amazing flavors, just as my Korean US ARMY friends and families would cook. I give it 9/5 ☆'s ! ! !

Google
This place is always fantastic. The food is amazing and the lady that always serves us is super nice. The first time I came here with my family, she noticed my 17 year old son was struggling with the chopsticks and brought him a fork for "fear he might starve" since the rest of us were not struggling. I also have come a couple of times with a friend and she remembered us. The first time she showed us how to be more efficient and the second time she recognized we were doing it right. My favorite things are the pork and chicken bulgogis, soondubu jiggae and pork belly. I will continue to return here with family and friends as they never disappoint.

Yelp
Food was amazing my boyfriend and I stopped for lunch and the lady working was the sweetest woman ever she gave us to-go cups of ice for our water bottles because we were chatting about how we are going on a 9 hour road trip. The vibe was amazing and I'm very glad we went there!

Yelp
Very good service, nice and cute environment, and the food was delicious! The B platter was filling as well as the short ribs. Would definitely come again!

Yelp
One of my favorite BBQ spot. I do take most of my friend and family from out of town here. Like why not? The selections of meat and dishes are variety of everything. They open late. The staff is really kind. Sometimes there is a wait so be patient if you come in big groups. It feels like a party vibe, especially on the weekends. :) Bring the energy and an empty stomach to eat!

Yelp
So I pay money to cook my own food ? Alright then ! This place had been on my bookmarks for years and one fine evening when we were particularly hungry we decided what better day than today to stuff our faces . We came in on Sunday evening and there was a 20 minute wait before we were seated . Annoyingly there were plenty of open tables however . The setting is a little different than most Korean BBQ joints -its not all you can eat and keep that in mind before you go . The various meat options come with a price and you can pick what you like otherwise there is a couple mix n match combos as well . Menu also has a selection of a la carte Korean dishes . We got the BQ Combo and a side of Korean pancakes . The meats though limited in selection comes in huge quantity and it was definitely more than we can eat .The grill was a little wonky at first but turned out ok after a while . The combo comes with a bowl of rice , stew and side dishes -mostly pickled veggies .The pork bulgogi was our favorite . The good thing about the fixed menu is that you can take the rest of it to-go which most KBBQ place don't offer . Service is alright , they do what you ask for and that's about it . Wont come check up on you till you ask . we also got a traditional Korean drink that went very well with the food . Overall , I would say they are alright although ,I don't see myself returning anytime soon .

Yelp
We go here for special occasions and, more recently, just because. It's a friendly and comfortable place, the barbecue is delicious (that's all I've ever tried here, after the soups) and consistent. You get the typical Korean-cuisine array of delicious small plates, included with your meal, and the server refills them as many times as you request. I love this place and have recommended it to friends, who've agreed it's excellent. Also, easy parking in their lot.

Yelp
Adequat My daughter wanted to go this Korean BBQ. No frills service, the food was just OK. The bulgogi marinated ribs were a bit chewy.

Yelp
Delicious KBBQ with lots of options. I also recommend the Soonduboo (my fave is the beef, my mom's fave is the kimchi). The meat servings are substaintial, well flavored and great cuts. They also have a nice banchan selection that we like to munch on. The sesame oil + salt dipping sauce is so simple but one of my absolute favorite things. Only semi negative is if you sit at a table with a grill it's a 2 KBBQ item minimum which was a bummer when just 2 of us went and wanted to get a soup (we happily ate the soup & most of the meat, just made for a considerably more expensive meal than we'd planned). Highly recommend bringing a group so you can lots of options to share.

Yelp
This is the best Korean BBQ in the Beaverton area. It's not unlimited, but it's worth it. We opted for the topokki, the combo A, and the cold beef noodle soup. The kimchi and cold noodle soup were the standouts, but everything was amazing. Whatever their soy dipping sauce is made of needs to be studied because it's seriously delicious and made all the difference. Somehow we were lucky enough to only have a short wait on a Friday night, and the service was so attentive. There is a call button next to each table so you'll never be left waiting long. The restaurant decor was on par with every other Korean bbq restaurant I've ever been before; nothing too special but I love how they always have k-pop music videos playing on the TVs. Overall, I left extremely happy and will definitely be back.

Yelp
We loved this place!! It was recommended by a local Korean American, and did not disappoint. The condiments shared by our table were delicious, savory, and some were medium spicy. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap -- the rice was perfectly crispy on the bottom, delicious veggies, and a perfectly runny egg on top. Ambience was quiet, clean, helpful staff. We went on a Monday night, earlier in the evening, and it definitely got pretty busy as the evening went on!

Yelp
When I opened the menu, I nearly wanted to leave due to the inflated costs. Just know that you're not coming here for a cheap meal. We ordered the tteobokki, japchae, corn cheese, and fried chicken. Putting the cost aside, the food was below par. I came here once before and actually really enjoyed it. I'm not sure why the quality of the food went downhill. The one dish I enjoyed was the japchae, as it was flavorful. The tteobokki may have been the worst one I've had in my life. The rice cakes were extremely tiny and the consistency was so soft, as if it was beyond over cooked. There was no chew to it. The fried chicken was a hard pass for me, as there was way too much batter and the sauce was too sweet. Best part of the meal might've just been the banchans.

Yelp
What a fun interactive dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We didn't have reservations on a Wednesday night and waited just a few minutes to be seated. They served us water and banchan pretty quickly. I loved all of these little flavorful bites from broccoli to fish cakes to kimchi and more, it's a gift that keeps on giving as they provide seconds for no charge. We ordered the combo platter to feed 3-4 and since there were four of us, we thought it would be just perfect. It was MORE than enough! The combo included chicken, beef, thin sliced beef brisket and pork belly. The table favorites were the chicken, beef and brisket. So so flavorful! The combo was served with a small bowl of rice. Probably the only request was to offer more rice as the meat portion was absolute massive! The brisket cooked so quickly. The chicken marinade was 10/10 and the beef cooked medium/rare was out of this world. We all could've passed on the pork belly as we all became impatient since it took longer to cook! The cheese corn is a must try and get two because you'll want to! We definitely would go again and again. You smell like bbq when you leave but it's worth it. Interior seating and also a bar is available.

Yelp
I was craving for Korean food and thought to give this place a shot since I drive by it all the time. My favorite was the Tteokbokki. It came with a sweet and spicy sauce, large pieces of fish cake, the rice cake was chewy, and perfectly cooked. I'm a huge fan of corn and was excited for the corn with cheese but it was just ok. Pretty sure it was frozen corn, could have been more flavorful. Rest of the dishes were average and meets local standards. I would probably go back and try their BBQ next time.

Yelp
Love this place! Flavors are incredible, service is fast, and ambience is comfortable. Make sure you get a table with a bbq. This place gets crazy busy on the weekends so get there early.

Yelp
Amazing food. Service is impeccable. Definitely a splurge, but well worth the heady price tag.

Yelp
Yummy KBBQ (not AYCE). We loved the cuts of meats we got from the galbi, to the beef tongue, brisket, and pork jowl. Service was very friendly and they were able to accommodate a party of 7 on a Sunday night around 8pm.
google avatar

Monty R.

Yelp
Very rude and poor service Also won't allow you to eat by yourself..... unless you wanna pay for 2 people.... Make zero sense
google avatar

Ploy N.

Yelp
Not bad! I'm rather spoiled from my experiences in LA so I went in with my expectation moderated. The interior is big and spacious, lots of tables and corners to seat big parties. Not too busy on a weekend either. We're seated and served our banchans promptly. Most of them were average, alas. Special shoutout to the bean sprouts though. Menu was decent. A selection of a la carte Korean dishes and meat for KBBQ. We went with Combo A and it definitely was sufficient for 2 people. Meat was pretty good in terms of quality; we liked the marinated pork the best. It's soso tender. The Soybean soup that came with the combo was also well-seasoned and tasty. The grill was super clean and had a nice heating throughout which made the cooking and eating experience better. A bit too many fineprints that you'd rather not see like getting a limited refill of the banchans and rice before you have to pay extra but what can you do. We also got a side of Steamed Egg which was very nice. Always love steamed egg with KBBQ. Nowhere near KBBQ in LA but it does get the job done and I don't think there's any spot like that out here in OR. With that said, I'd be down to come back for KBBQ as well as their regular food for sure.

Yelp
We had a really fun time here last night. We took my son here for his birthday dinner and it was a unique experience for him and the rest of us. The service was fantastic and all the food was delicious.

Yelp
Loveeee korean bbq and this place did not disappoint! Love all the side dishes too so fast and fresh. Highly recommend!

Yelp
SO GOOD!!!!! Loved the traditional dishes. The japchae was hot & tasty! The bbq was delicious & the banchan was perfect. We will be back!!

Yelp
I went here with my wife and sister for some Korean BBQ. I was shocked at the prices, especially having been to some all-you-can-eat KBBQ places. The restaurant itself was cute, but it was very hot (somewhat to be expected). We were put sort of in the back of the restaurant with a portable gas burner. That also surprised me. I was sure the frying plate would fall off the whole time. The food was good, and we enjoyed our experience but I think it is WAY over priced not only for the portions but also the flavors. I don't think I would go here again. I was sad because a few friends spoke so highly of this place. Staff was nice but service was really slow
google avatar

Nathaniel J B.

Yelp
Meat quality was good service was good and menu was pretty diverse!! Good selections of wine and beverages to boot but the three stars for extra charge on lettuce? Crazeeeee.....Korean bbq charging for lettuce is as bad or worse charging extra for rice? Bhan Chan was good especially the Kim Chi!!! Nothing stood out but clean space and open to facilitate larger parties

Yelp
This was a spot I've had bookmarked for a while. The restaurant was fairly busy and what seemed like limited staff. We came around 12:30pm, a little after opening. We ordered two meats, Angus Kkotsal (prime boneless ribs) and Seng Galbi (prime ribs) and galbi tang. It was great grilling the first cut of meat but then the grill started burning. Both meats were tender and juicy. I did wish there was more sauce options, there was only a salt and sesame oil dip. We loved the galbi tang, the soup was sooo comforting and flavorful. Loved the silky noodles. They also do the standard meats that come cooked, honestly might do that next time since my grilling skills could use some help.

Yelp
Went here with my girlfriend while she was visiting and right when they opened. I believe it was a La cart for kbbq, and we ordered some other dishes as well. We had no complaints about the taste of everything. I don't think it's all you can eat, but trust me, the set menus for a La cart kbbq will fill you up. It seemed like the place was family run, and the servers were sweet Korean ajummas. Price, quality, quantity: 8.5/10 For the set menu we got for a la cart kbbq, I believe it was a fair price point for quality and quantity we got for the meats. I would also say the same for The other dishes we ordered. We definitely had to take a few boxes home when we were done.

Yelp
Walked in at 9pm and was asked by the server lady if we were aware that they close at 10pm. We said yes and she said that they were doing last call and to order quickly. Ok no problem, we ordered potato hot pot casserole. She said that took 30 minutes to cook and pushed us to get something else, but we said we were fine with waiting since we were going to eat quickly. After that she was so annoyed at us, she told us to change tables and threw the portable gas burner onto our table. We felt so uncomfortable that when our food came out we just wanted to leave. When we asked for a to-go container for the casserole, the lady started packing our food in a plastic container for something else that's been and washed out. This is disgusting.

Yelp
First time to dine-in | Delicious | Kpop playing **I'd like to point out that this restaurant is NOT affiliated with the other restaurants in Portland, Salem, and Eugene, which have all made the news about wage theft. It is separate ownership! So, I don't know why other reviewers are mentioning this because that's untrue** We've done take-out several times and decided to dine-in for the first time since my dad was visiting. I think we came at a great time because it wasn't so busy around 4:30pm! It noticeably picks up within the hour. Before you know it, a lot of families are seated. It's a popular spot! We had a great time here. It was actually our first time even cooking our food at a restaurant--we loved it! The smaller and thinner slices of meat were cooked immediately, however, it took a little bit longer to cook the thicker bacon slices. The grill was hot though, so I think it is the type of cut. For us, we were a family of 3 adults and 1 toddler, it was enough food we ordered. We ended up taking the noodle dish home. What we ordered: (Appetizer) Mandu -- crispy chicken and veggie dumplings (10 pcs) BBQ Combo A -- Chadol Baegi + Samgyup Sal + Pork Bulgogi + Soybean Stew w/ steamed rice (serves 2-3 ppl) Japchae -- sweet potato noodles w/beef and veggies Bibimbap in the hot stone bowl **Our dinner came with the banchan Everything was delicious. The chicken in our bbq was delicious and mild spicy level. If this is your first time experiencing a Korean BBQ dinner experience like us, make sure you butter the grill first! We quickly learned we needed to do that after the fact and we felt a little embarrassed for creating so much smoke in the room. They have these heavy-duty fans above you to keep the smoke out, but sometimes they open the restaurant doors to quickly clear the air. They have Kpop music videos playing while you eat. My daughter greatly loved that and pointed out every single BTS video that came on (yeah, she's little Army lol). We had no problems with our service. The lady was nice and took care of us. We will come back!

Yelp
Cleanliness: 4 Service: 5 Food: 5 I have been here about 4 or 5 times. The bathrooms are always very clean here! This is always a huge plus anywhere I go because it often gives insight into the operation and presentation of a place that you will dine at. Why then did I give cleanliness a 4? Because if you have ever Korean BBQ'd you know that it is hard to get a perfect score here in any restaurant of this nature. Chances are you will get a little grease on you. With that said these guys do an excellent job of keeping things neat, clean, and presentable. I have only ever come here for their AYCE BBQ. So I couldn't judge on their other menu items. Service is always top notch here. For veterans you would need no guide other than to start ordering the really nice quality meats and veggies. However what I do admire is that the servers always give you a warm greeting, and will ask if you have ever tried the KBBQ dining experience before. The staff here is attentive, friendly, and efficient. There are a few different tiers of AYCE offerings here, but I always get the most expensive one. Why? Because I have paid more for a single plate of food at a steak restaurant and still have left hungry, but you won't be leaving hungry from a AYCE KBBQ! As I have previously stated above the meats here are of really nice quality. The side dishes are good and really helps to cut into the richness of the meats. I've never been served a poor quality side dish here.. The veggies ordered are always well cleaned, and the side salads are always crisp. I hate it when places serve up a plate of bruised sadness. You won't find that here. What you will find is what I think the best (sorry for the redundancy) KBBQ restaurant in NE P-town. What's my favorite thing to order here? Try the Jumulleok! It really hits all of the superlatives when it comes to those of us who enjoy and appreciate meat of the grill. Is there a downside you ask? Yeah...:(. You do have about a two hour time limit. Taste the food here though; and you will probably figure out why.
google avatar

Cami S.

Yelp
We went here on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy, but we got a seat right away. The meat was really well marinated, the kimchi was delicious and the staff was very attentive!
google avatar

Julian A.

Yelp
Pretty good KBBQ spot! I would definitely recommend the bulgogi. That said, I only have 2 pieces of feedback that I'd love to give. The first, I wish the servers were a bit more attentive. They're constantly on their feet attending to many other tables, so I totally understand... but it would've been nice to be acknowledged or checked on (i.e., I wanted another refill of soda and another bowl of rice but I just couldn't flag anyone down). Second, I believe cleanliness should be tighter (i.e. floors were slippery and our cooking utensils for the grill were left on the window sill and I needed to request a clean pair).
google avatar

Bryce Y.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite Korean BBQ! Always experience great service, place is clean, and food is always great!
google avatar

Takako S.

Yelp
You go to Korean place to eat. They won't take a reservation, but should not be too long wait if you are party of 4 or less. We had seafood ( always good! ) spicy fried chicken (good but you get sticky finger), usually I get wet wipe after the meal but this place didn't give us so recommend to bring one. Hot pot (sundubu, my favorite) and did BBQ (require minimum two different meats, so go there with empty stomach), bibimbap. It comes with several banchan and bowl of rice, so you figure you get a lot of food (we have four ppl and this was plenty). Drinks... light beer (no IPA), house wine (box), sake (basic and momokawa Pearl-sweet cloudy sake, nigori), and of course soju and makageolli (this one sweet and cloudy too) The place can be a bit chilly after BBQ because of the veneration system, but dishes are good and we can go back there again.
google avatar

Catherine L.

Yelp
Seemed to be a higher quality of meat than some other places I've tried around town. Friendly service, nice ambiance. Seems like one of the better spots around.
google avatar

Julie L.

Yelp
My son really wanted to have KBBQ, so we ventured over to this place on a whim. We had been here before with some friends and really enjoyed the experience. We did BBQ, and the wait staff didn't really explain much about ordering, just corrected us when we only ordered one type of meat, saying there were a two plate minimum. So we ordered galbi and chicken bulgogi with some mandu, lettuce and rice. The place was super clean, and tidy and the food was excellent, but the experience wasn't as good as last time. It may be cultural differences, but the wait staff could have been more friendly and attentive. Will definitely return!

Yelp
I am sorry to say that there are no legit Korean BBQ (KBBQ) places in Oregon like LA Ca. If you are choosing one it would be choosing from the best out of the 5 worst places. I can say this with confidence because when you eat KBBQ in LA Ca. there are a lot more side dishes and offerings. Also, the quality of meat is much better. LA Ca. is the "Mecca" of KBBQ in the USA. This spot is probably one of the better ones because of the quality of meats. It's is a little more expensive than other KBBQ joints around. I am disappointed that they do not offer lettuce. I mean ssam is a huge part of eating KBBQ!?! Ssam (), meaning "wrapped", refers to a dish in Korean cuisine in which, usually, leafy vegetables are used to wrap a piece of meat such as pork, beef or other filling. It is often accompanied by a condiment known as ssamjang and can also be topped with raw or cooked garlic, onion, jalapeño, or a banchan (small side dish) such as kimchi. Ssam is usually bite-sized to prevent spilling out the fillings. Don't forget to ask for sliced garlic and jalapeños and ssamjang. I usually like to grill the garlic and jalapeños and eat it with the meat. They will not offer it to you if you don't ask for it (it's part of the meal people just don't know). This will kick thing's up a notch when eating your meats. Trust me, your mind and tastebuds will say "this is DANG! Good!". Yes, the service is slow so you have to be the aggressor and hunt them down. The best way to get their attention is say 'Yo-gi-yo!' I guarantee you will get someone's attention. Please say it in a respectful way or they will curse you out under their breath. 'Yo-gi-yo!' (Over here!) In South Korea 'Yogiyo!' literally means 'over here!'. It's a call you'll hear most echoing across a busy Korean restaurant.

Yelp
Not AYCE so we knew it was going to be a little pricey. We ordered the Combination A, which came with three kind of meats and a soybean stew. Decided to order another plate of beef belly just to be safe because the combinations feeds about 3 people. It came with several small side dishes, all had one refill. I really enjoyed the pickled onions! Meats were good, nothing too special. Great customer service. Our waiter noticed which sides we liked and gave us extra on the refills. She also ended up helping us cook the meats because we were struggling with the heat. Overall, this place was pretty solid! The only thing that was lacking would be the sauces they had. Nevertheless, it was a good place to start on our Portland trip.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place. Very cool and friendly staff. If you're not sure what to order, staff helps you in getting the right thing. Plenty of parking very clean establishment.

Su-jen Y.

Yelp
This place is really tasty! The quality of the meats is definitely superior to a nearby kbbq place. However, it is not ayce so a little pricey. The pork belly was very tasty, the meat will shrink once cooked. I recommend cooking for a bit longer until the skin is golden for the extra crispy-ness. The Bulgogi was ok. Flavor was good. We were recommended to have it cooked at their kitchen because they would add spring onions and onions for extra flavor. But the meat came out to be a little dry. So would recommend you cooking it yourself. The kimchi pancake was a little different from what we had before. It was thin and crispier. But it tastes good! I also ordered the bibim naengmyeon (forgot to picture). It is tasty but on the sweeter side. The chili paste very homogenized but I'm only mentioning this because I like to see some chili bits haha Overall, Kkoki tastes great but was a little expensive. My bf and I enjoy having variety and so we realized that a la carte is probably not for us but I'm looking forward to going to their ayce location in Portland next!

Yelp
Yum! I have missed Korean BBQ during COVID. Now that indoor dining is open you can sit at the grill and cook your meats for the full Korean BBQ experience. Great food and friendly and fast service. We ordered combination A, which came with three kinds of meat and a soybean stew. It was the perfect amount for three people. You do save $$ with a combo but might not work if you want certain cuts of meat. Our waiter was quick and checked in on us frequently to refill our banchan. We loved all the small side plates but our favorites were the fish cake, spinach and bean sprouts. Korean BBQ hardly ever disappoints and this time was no different. Come fulfill your Korean BBQ craving at kkoki.

Yelp
This place was one of the best kbbq places I've had while visiting Oregon. As you walk in they have tables for those who wanna grill or just to have regular korean food which I thought was nice. They were very busy when we first walked in with only two staff working the floor so you can tell they were short staffed. For kbbq we ordered the kimchi soup, pork belly, and pork bulgogi. They have the option for you to either order everything individually or they have dinner combos that have several different meats to try. Our favorite was the pork bulgogi. The meat was so nice and tender. We loved all the sides that came with our dinner as well. Would definitely come back to this place if I'm ever in town and craving kbbq.

Yelp
Tasty spot for Korean BBQ, but service is a bit on the slow side. We came on a quiet Sunday afternoon with only a few other tables in the restaurant. They seemed to be understaffed as they had one employee working the multiple tables so it did take some time for us to get their attention to receive service. Usually not too much of an issue but we were stuck with a charred grill for a while until they could come and replace it. Service aside, food was pretty good! We ordered the BBQ combo A which came with 3 selections of meat, soybean stew, rice, and of course the side dishes. The combo was a good amount of good, just right for 2 people. Quality of the meat was pretty good, I definitely liked it a lot. We also ordered the seafood pancake which was decent, thought it was a little bland. Something to note is that they do have fans above grill stations so we left without the strong KBBQ smell on us. I'd suggest having a little patience with their service if you dine here. I'd love to return if I'm in the area!

Yelp
Always looking for a bit of korean home cooking while im traveling and i was not disappointed :) Great tip for authentic ethnic foods? Looks for its people! Welcome site knowing the Koreans in town were also there! Kimchi stew was RICH and deep in flavor. Brisket was nicely cut, pork belly had a good fat to meat ratio, and marinated meats was seasoned well (ie NOT too sweet ) will be back

Yelp
I remember coming here many years ago when they first opened and really liking their kbbq. But as of recent, I've been ordering their other menu items. In the past year, I've had less than satisfying experiences here. This time, I was craving naengmyeon so I ordered the Bibim Naengmyeon. There was plenty of sauce with the noodles but hardly any beef, cucumbers, or radish. For the ban chan (side dishes), they gave us only two dishes. I can see that they are short staffed, so I don't blame them for being slow. It's just disappointing when the food isn't as good as it used to be.

Yelp
Ironically the Korean bbq is probably the worst thing here. Second worse would be the staff - bad service & least interested: in taking your order, answering your questions and in general working there. The 1 star is just for the passable/okay ambiance :( Very disappointed in this place. Won't go again. Will never recommend to anyone.

Yelp
Just ordered the Galbi Tang - Beef short rib soup with sweet potato noodles and Yangnyem Chicken - Marinated Fried Chicken as takeout. So good! The order came with all of the side dishes (5 total) separated out in a styrofoam container and a side of rice. All of it was really good! The galbi tang especially was amazing. The short ribs just fell off the bone and we're so good. The broth was delicious. It was a really good takeout option. Definitely recommend it. Giving it five stars for the delicious soup and all of the tasty side dishes :) And because they were open late on a Monday night!

Yelp
Rude workers. They will rush you, not give you refills, and not answer any questions. They are overpriced. $35 for two small pieces of meat? C'mon? So stingy on the banchan. I can't believe people are giving this place good reviews. The grills are not hot and take forever to cook meat. No vegetables either. It would be nice to have veggie dishes for bbq. They are in the news for wage theft. They owe $170,000 in unpaid back wages and tips to workers. No wonder the workers are so rude and unfriendly.

Yelp
Well, this is my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in west side. But I have been somewhat disappointed on last two visits. Meat is always great, but it's the other parts that I have been unhappy with. May y if the dishes do not come with rice. For party of 3, I ordered two meat dishes (had them grill them in the kitchen) , and two large regular dishes and also appetizers, but only came with two rice. When I asked regards to that, found out entire page of food do not come with rice, and these are not appetizer. So ordered extra rice. There bowl of rice is so small, had to order more after that, at $2 each. The their side dishes (banchan) was more then ridiculous! And I come to this place typically once a month, but better look for other options.,

Yelp
Andrew and Justin were outstanding. They were extremely attentive and always checking up on us. They're very sweet and professional. Huge shout out to them! The food is always amazing. This is hands down mine and my husbands favorite bbq place. The meat is quality and the service is awesome.

We really like this restaurant. They have great all you can eat meat, a bit expensive though.

Yelp
The quality of meat was great. The food and taste seemed to be authentic (something you can have in Korea) in general. The place was clean and conveniently located.
