"New American restaurant Lazy Betty didn't just kick off the tasting menu boom in Atlanta—it set the standard for what lavish multi-course experiences could be. The menu shifts frequently to incorporate a range of seasonal ingredients—and to keep repeat diners on their toes. Courses sway from straightforward (tender filets of cod or wagyu beef in a buttery wine sauce) to unexpected (a beef wellington play with a giant scallop coated in a herby truffle custard). Decorated with statement lighting and tons of live plants, their Midtown location is the perfect middleground, where you'll be welcomed whether you strut in with a floor-length fur before catching a show at the Fox or straight from denim day at the office." - arden shore, team infatuation

"One-Michelin-starred Lazy Betty has a great tasting menu, but the bar is where the cool kids hang out. The seasonal cocktail menu by beverage director Conrad Helms keeps you on your toes, along with a tight wine list and nonalcoholic options. The Attack of the Clones white negroni is a sipper — it evolves and unfolds as the ice melts. It’s made with Wonderbird Gin No. 61 (fermented using Mississippi jasmine rice, which lends wonderful texture to the drink), yellow chartreuse, amari, and orange bitters. Sit with this one, and pair it with the sunchoke fry bread topped with caviar. The restaurant has limited open bar seating and does not require reservations if you’re just popping in for a drink." - Allison Ramirez
"The Michelin-starred restaurant is known for its cocktail program and wine list, though the zero-proof drinks shine here, too. Try the Celery Gimlet with lime and chive oil, or even one of the best NA wines like the Odd Bird blanc de blanc sparkler from Languedoc, France, with a side of fried sunchoke bread with caviar. —Henna Bakshi" - Laura Scholz
"Owned by chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips, one-Michelin-starred Lazy Betty offers fine dining at their new location in the heart of Midtown at 999 Peachtree (the former Empire State South space). Choose from two tasting menus: Lazy Betty Tasting Menu or the Chef’s Tasting Menu. The latter features additional courses and even more luxurious and harder-to-source ingredients like squab, langoustines, morel mushrooms, and Wagyu beef. Vegetarian and pescatarian tasting menus are also available. There’s also champagne and caviar service, which comes with steamed milk buns and scallion pancakes, and an a la carte food menu at the bar lounge. The foie gras donut with raspberry coulis, which made our Best Things Eater Atlanta Ate in June, for an umami, unexpected treat. Be sure to try the cocktails here. Reservations are required for the dining room, though walk-ins are welcome to enjoy the tasting menu at the bar. Best for: Tasting menu, date night, wine list, and cocktails." - Eater Staff
