The 11 Best Restaurants in Atlanta Right Now | Bon Appétit

"With a chic, chill vibe and a funk-and-soul soundtrack, I went on a seasonally shifting tasting-menu ride crafted by Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips that showcased playful yet precise plating — from dry-aged duck breast paired with a confit-leg tartlet and a crescent of satsuma orange to inventive cocktails like the Lemon Pepper Wet rimmed with Atlanta seasoning." - ByPervaiz Shallwani

The 13 Best Restaurants In America - The Infatuation

"New American restaurant Lazy Betty didn't just kick off the tasting menu boom in Atlanta—it set the standard for what lavish multi-course experiences could be. The menu shifts frequently to incorporate a range of seasonal ingredients—and to keep repeat diners on their toes. Courses sway from straightforward (tender filets of cod or wagyu beef in a buttery wine sauce) to unexpected (a beef wellington play with a giant scallop coated in a herby truffle custard). Decorated with statement lighting and tons of live plants, their Midtown location is the perfect middleground, where you'll be welcomed whether you strut in with a floor-length fur before catching a show at the Fox or straight from denim day at the office." - arden shore, team infatuation

Where to Drink Cocktails in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"One-Michelin-starred Lazy Betty has a great tasting menu, but the bar is where the cool kids hang out. The seasonal cocktail menu by beverage director Conrad Helms keeps you on your toes, along with a tight wine list and nonalcoholic options. The Attack of the Clones white negroni is a sipper — it evolves and unfolds as the ice melts. It’s made with Wonderbird Gin No. 61 (fermented using Mississippi jasmine rice, which lends wonderful texture to the drink), yellow chartreuse, amari, and orange bitters. Sit with this one, and pair it with the sunchoke fry bread topped with caviar. The restaurant has limited open bar seating and does not require reservations if you’re just popping in for a drink." - Allison Ramirez

The Best Restaurants In Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Lazy Betty is the best restaurant in Atlanta. Their New American tasting menu constantly changes. You might get a wagyu beef in a buttery wine sauce and a creamy foie gras topped with strawberries. On paper, these and other dishes might not sound like standouts (especially for the $225 prix fixe menu), but we’ve not tasted better anywhere else, nor a better poached salmon. Nor have we seen a wellington wrapped in a pleated pastry skirt that was so beautiful it could win a Project Runway challenge. But don’t let the artfully designed dishes, high price tag, and “best” superlative make you think you need to pull out the mink. The dining room isn’t buttoned up, which means you can absolutely eat spoonfuls of caviar in sneaks and jeans." - jacinta howard, juli horsford, nina reeder
