The 12 Best Croissants In Paris - Paris - The Infatuation
"The massive croissants at this bakery might look like the Michelin man, but they’re far from windbags. The crispy crust smells and tastes like fresh buttered toast, with a slight bitter note to counterbalance all that richness. The uncommonly long apple chausson balances bitter, butter, and sugar just as wonderfully. It’s filled with slightly chunky apple compote that’s so deeply caramelized it takes on the color of the Eiffel Tower. And if that’s not enough to make the Latin Quarter spot your new breakfast destination, its location overlooking the Seine will." - emily monaco

"While not every visitor to Paris has the time or money to visit the historic Tour d’Argent restaurant, the operation’s next-door bakery, Le Boulanger de la Tour, is more than sufficient as a backup. A rotating menu of breads is available from the famed restaurant’s bakers. They’re so good, you can close your eyes and almost imagine you’ve nabbed a seat in the restaurant’s historic waterfront dining room. Located in the 5th arrondissement. Dayna Evans" - Dayna Evans
"At Le Boulanger de la Tour, our bakery, works above all for the restaurant. Kévin Derpierre, our baker, offers a specific bread with each dish." - MICHELIN Guide

Walked past while we wanted a quick lunch baguette and we still had some cheeses and it did not disappoint. Got the baguette de la tour and it was one of the best baguettes I’ve had. Such an amazing crunch, bite and taste/flavour. Got another one for later and exited to have it in a little bit.
Their sweets also looked very good but did not try them. Baguette would highly recommend.

You must try their palmiers!!!
The floating islands dessert at the next door rotisserie is also AMAZING. Both owned by same people.

May 13 around 15h30 .
That 1582 made me so intrigued and so i went in.
Their dela tour cake was good. Im not a fan of super sweet cakes but this one could be better if it is 10% sweeter than it is.
Service was dry. Girl, you gotta learn to smile or smirk a bit at least :)
Anyway. if i ever pass by again, i would like to try their chausson de pomme and pain au chocolat which seems to be v. good accdg to reviews.

5 stars for the seating arrangement and the view. Croissant and pan chocolate was pretty good. Service could be better. Would recommend for sitting down and enjoying the view with some baked goodies.

The best baguette I’ve ever had in a long time. It’s crunchy, and slight smokiness of the bread crust perfectly complements the soft crumb. We ate it with a little Brie by the Seine, and life couldn’t get better than that.

I was literally shocked this morning in this boulangerie because of the 2 young girls who were working there. I have lived in Paris over a year and I speak decent French. In Paris I ask large coffee with little milk like I did this morning in Le Boulanger de la Tour. Extremely rude service, literally making fun of my request, rolling eyes and giving me one expresso in one cup and milk another small cup. I have always felt good in Paris and denied the stories about the parisians being rude. Sadly my quartier boulangerie was the proof.

If you like your croissants to be in the butterier side, this is the place. We went three mornings in a row, simply mesmerised by their warm, butter-ful croissants that leave your fingers and mouth sticky with butter. Too good.

My favorite chocolate croissant, anywhere in the world. I stop there every time I’m in Paris.
