The food was exceptional, a true showcase of Chef Akira Back’s Michelin-starred reputation. Every canapé, dish, and dessert was beautifully presented, bursting with creativity and flavour. From delicate, artfully plated bites to perfectly balanced cocktails, each detail reflected precision and world-class culinary artistry. What made the evening even more memorable was Chef Akira himself coming out to personally greet guests—a rare touch that highlighted the warmth and care behind the experience. Set within the stunning Montcalm hotel in Mayfair, the setting alone is worth mentioning: stylish, welcoming, and the perfect backdrop for such a launch. The service was flawless, attentive without being intrusive, making us feel like every guest was part of something truly unique. Lilli by Akira Back is so much more than a restaurant—it’s an unforgettable blend of fine dining, artistry, and hospitality. I left already excited for my next visit, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The Crimson Bloom and Quince Orchard stood out, with fresh, floral notes and stunning garnishes (rose petals, lavender, etc.) that made each drink feel special. The food was just as impressive. The small bites and desserts were exquisite in both flavour and presentation — from the perfectly torched lemon meringue tartlets to the rich chocolate square topped with fresh berries and edible gold. Each plate felt like a work of art, and tasted just as good as it looked. Service was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout, with staff making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Akira Back delivers not just a meal, but a whole experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for elevated dining and cocktails in a setting that feels luxurious yet welcoming. Every dish felt thoughtful and rich with flavor, and to top it all off, the chef actually came out to greet tables and talk about his inspirations behind the menu. That personal touch really stood out. And then came the ballerina and saxophone performance! Completely unexpected and absolutely beautiful. Can’t recommend it enough.

Set in a stunning Mayfair hotel, the atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. I had the pleasure last night of dining at Lilli and it truly exceeded my expectations. The tuna with truffle was divine and their cocktails were delicious and inventive. It has an understated entrance but inside is a beautiful space. A hidden gem. A wonderful venue to have a date or catch up with friends.

Everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented, with a great mix of cocktails and wines. It was amazing 🤩 everything ran smoothly, and it already feels like a spot I’ll want to come back to.
