"We had some thoughts on “the very shiny, very expensive” Akira Back. And now there’s another Akira Back hotel restaurant, this time inside Montcalm Mayfair. Lilli By Akira Back’s menu is a bit of a mystery. It’s open from breakfast when they’ll serve shakshuka and a full English, as well as a masala omelette and oatmeal. In the evening some of the Japanese influence is more evident with dishes like wagyu pizza, but there’s also spicy Calabrian rigatoni and a beef wellington.
