Finally came here with my husband and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere, food, and service all exceeded our expectations. This is the perfect embodiment of the Bishop Arts vibe and reminds me of the hidden gems that would pop up back when BA was first going through its Renaissance. You can really feel the love, care, and passion that has gone into every detail. It’s just as appropriate for a romantic date night as it is for a casual friend hangout or even just a solo glass of wine after work. Speaking of wine, the list has been expertly curated with unique finds from around the world so there’s really not a bad option. The radish salad is a must-try, but everything is wonderful. I came here initially for the Maker’s Mark collab but wanted to try their food as it caught my eye. Right off the bat this place is tiny but that does NOT mean their staff fall short of service! My server/host was always eager to check up on me and was refilling my water glass whenever the chance came. I wasn’t amazed by the dish I had but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. I was surprised by the aftertaste of the eggplant and tomato combo– it was actually awesome! I just wish it was perfect. Like Sister, Rye, Tei An and a couple of restaurants in DFW I just think some of the dishes are a bit too niche but are worth a try before you make a final judgement. I WILL BE BACK FOR THAT WAGYU POT ROAST!

I had a birthday dinner here and the service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere and lighting was perfect. I’d highly recommend this to someone who’s looking for an intimate and special night. The staff was very accommodating and helpful with my cake that I brought and lit the candles and sliced the cake for me. Thank you for a great night!

Had an amazing first experience at Little Blue Bistro last Friday. The staff was phenomenal and so friendly/helpful. I think my husband and I ordered almost half of the food menu and we loved everything we ate! The oysters and the strawberry cheesecake were my favorite and my husband was a big fan of the bolognese. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Little Blue! We sat outside on their magical back patio. The service and food were impeccable— every item on the menu is special and reimagined. We truly loved it! Cocktails were incredible too!

So loud I couldn’t hear my partner sitting across the 1.5x1.5 table. The pot roast was chewy, burnt and a very small portion(Pic for proof), the pepper on it was even brown and it was SWIMMING in oil. As I went to write this review I saw a prior customer’s photo of theirs so I can truly say the food I got last night was terrible:( the little gem Cesar was good and the drinks were too but the service was very slow as it looked like there wasn’t enough staff to customers.

Super cute new(er) spot in Bishop Arts. LOVE the natural wine selection, moody and cozy vibes and menus. This spot is a perfect addition to the area giving that neighborhood feel. Caressa the manager was so welcoming and knowledgeable on the wine list and Gabe was my bartender who was so warm and provided great service. As someone in the restaurant industry this is definitely a place I’d send people! Love that their kitchen is open late if you’ve had a long day and need a bite and a glass. Can’t wait to come back!

Came here late on a Friday after a book event at the Wild Detective next door because we noticed the kitchen is open until midnight. The food here is surprisingly good! I loved the terrine w rabbit and pork cheek, and the applesauce and mustard accompaniment paired really well. The caponata toast was amazing - the eggplant, tomatoes, burrata, capers and several herbs were well seasoned and there were so many complementary flavors in every bite. The cheesecake is excellent as well. Ambience is terrific with a good jazz soundtrack in the background and nice lighting. And the service is fantastic, as well. River was the bartender and she was also our server. When my wife was waffling on what wine to go with, she brought out three recommendations and we went with a very nice Mexican Cabernet . Little Blue is a great laid back place for a light meal and drinks - highly recommend!

Located in Bishop Arts, so IYKYK what parking is going to be like. However there is a valet across the street. This little spot use to be the lemonade place, however they have done a wonderful job recreating the space. Is intimate, great for a first date, a glass of wine, a girl friends gathering . . . And they serve food. I came with a large group of girlfriends for a Christmas party. We gathered at 7pm and I don't know if my hostess told them to wait but it was an hour before we ordered food but the food came out rather quickly. I ordered the pot roast and although the meat was TEN-DER, the meal itself lacked seasoning. I was told the roast was cooked in a Mississippi pot roast style, however besides seeing the pepperoncini, I wouldn't have known. The mashed potatoes lacked seasoning and it all felt a little greasy to me (too much butter which I never thought I would EVER say!). The staff were really nice and accommodating. I missed the sign that says fee for using credit card, but it was a small fee, but just so you know. There is a backyard/porch area as well. So a nice spot as the weather gets nicer and who doesn't love options. I will say I was eyeballing the salad - it was a nice portion size that could be shared. I was disappointed by the cost of the bread and the size of that but that's just me. Overall I'd give it another try.

Such a cute, little wine bar in Bishop Arts. The setting is intimate, with a few tables inside and out; I'd say it's most suitable for parties of 4 or less. The server suggested an excellent wine pairing based on our preference and the dishes we ordered. The dishes are tapa style, great for sharing. Highlights include: blue prawns, marsala and pot roast. The prawns were really substantial, dipped in an awesome, hearty broth. Must dip bread in said broth. The marsala was coated in a delicious, creamy sauce, flavored perfectly. The pot roast came with a side of fluffy mashed potatoes that really surprised me. Overall a great meal, we'd recommend!

Great hidden gem in bishop arts! Can't believe I had missed this spot, but it was definitely worth the wait. The ambiance is intimate, cozy, with decor that makes it feel like you're dining in someone's home. The space is a bit tight but the servers are skilled and you never feel like you don't have enough room. Lots of great choices on the menu, as well as a nice wine selection.

This is a really small and cozy spot! I took my mom to dinner and wanted to try something new with her. It was so amazing and the service was wonderful. Everything tasted very intentional and well balanced in flavor. I love that beautiful restaurants and cuisines like this exist in my neighborhood. I can't wait to come back. Also I love that all the wines are carefully selected.

Ambiance: 5/5 Food and drinks: 4/5 Walking arond Bishop arts on Friday and stumbled upon this cute shop. I love the concept of setting up business in a repurposed home - there's so much character in a space. The inside was dimly lit with lights and small candles on the table. Server was swift and attentive. They have a variety of French inspired small dishes and chicken/pasta/ pot roast on the menu. We ordered a bit of everything - the terrine and escargot were quite good. Escargot needs a bit of salt - which is the trend for their dishes. Pot roast and Bolognese are tasty, albeit needing salt. I'm not a salty eater but that extra salt is needed to achieve the umami that they are missing. They have an all natural wine menu, cocktail and beer. Ambiance was chill and romantic, we all got a bit tipsy afterwards. Overall nice spot!

Very small, quaint restaurant in an old house with dark ambiance and good wine deals. My number one favorite cheesecake I've had in dallas is right here! Some of the dishes aren't as expected and the menu changes frequently but the pasta is a go to and the pot roast is a must if you do need recommendations! I'd vote the stracc, pot roast and bolognese as my favorite dishes on the menu when I was there. Didn't love the terrine; it's more of a meat/cheese board app with cold rabbit topping. The salad was small and didn't rock my word either. I did like the stew a lot! Get a reservation here or come early and sit at the bar for some tasty wine and cheesecake!

This is the only natural wine bar in Bishop, offering a thoughtfully curated selection of wines that are either certified organic, organically produced without certification, or made without the use of pesticides. Having visited twice, I'm really enjoying the atmosphere. While I haven't tried the food yet, the menu leans towards snacks and occasional specials. For example, today's special was a hearty dish of roast and mashed potatoes made with beef cheeks. The only thing I found off putting is the pours are smaller in comparison to other shops in Bishop Arts. Outside of that I recommend them at 4 stars. Great place to have a glass of wine after you eat somewhere in Bishop.

Walked past this place one night and it looked so cute, booked a reservation the next week!!! Did not disappoint! The patio was so perfect, giving suchhhh good vibes. Wine and service were lovely. Moving on to food.... every dish hit. The Caesar salad was very authentic and light, homemade croutons on top. The Bolognese was wonderful, the sauce was super flavorful. The pot roast was savory, but still light enough to eat in the summer, highly recommend. The Italian cheesecake is now one of my favorite desserts in Dallas.... the words I would use to describe it would not do it justice... just go try it. Cannot wait to go back!!

Food was fine. The red headed server was extremely rude and treated my wife like an out of control child when she accidentally spilled a small vase on the table because the tables were uneven. The server rudely took the vase out of her hands and reprimanded her like a child saying "no no no". Everyone at the table was shocked. She then cut off my wife (who had had 1.5 glasses of white wine with a full meal). She wasn't drunk. She wasn't even clumsy or loud. She spilled because the table was uneven. I'm not sure if this server was having a bad night or what her deal was, but she CERTAINLY took it out on us and was EXTREMELY condescending when we attempted to apologize and explain what had happened. For the money we spent, I don't expect the staff to snatch things out of your hands or scold you. Wont be back.

Dining at Little Blue is like walking into an Edith Piaf song. The menu is delicious, rich and features an excellent natural wine list. The service is excellent and the cocktails are especially good, made with flavorful and interesting ingredients. The space is small and intimate, creating an ambience that is the perfect blend of low lighting, soft colors, wood floors, and white tablecloths. What more can I say, Little Blue Bistro is a gem and you should dine here! (Try the pot roast)

My new favorite, what a gem of a spot - perfect for date night. Pot Roast and Oysters are fantastic - and the salads and apps were spot on. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Loved the atmosphere and service.

My husband planned a date night for us, and I was really looking forward to trying this place-especially since we live an hour away and date nights do take effort with our schedules! The ambiance is nice...if you don't get the TEENY TINY table that's literally three steps away from everyone who walks into, around, and out of the restaurant, smack dab in the middle. I honestly wish I had snapped a picture-it was ALMOST comical, except it was honestly very annoying-the back of my chair was knocked several times through the night and it honestly felt like we were on display. The bartender was kind enough to make me a mocktail, which was good, but the server could not tell me what was in it, nor did she make the effort to ask. As for the food...the oysters we had for an app were pretty good, but I was most excited to try the caesar salad. So disappointed. The crushed croutons actually seemed to dry it out, and there was a very bitter taste, and no crunch to the lettuce. My husband had the Wagyu pot roast with mashed potatoes-he enjoyed it, but added he wished there were at least carrots or something-it was literally the meat and potatoes. We tried the cheesecake, which was decent, but the crust was brick hard. I thought someone else was being dramatic in their review when they said it was so loud they couldn't hear another person talk....my apologies because we found that to be the case as well. If you decide to try this place for dinner, make a reservation, and be SURE to request a booth-style table.

FANTASTIC PLACE. Not only was the food and wine program incredible, I also lost something very important to me during dinner and the staff were extremely helpful! Cannot recommend this place enough and I am counting the days till I return!

the tables were teeny. thank goodness me and my friend are slim and small. the noise level made talking almost impossible and we were sitting next to one another. food was okay and they seemed to be trying to provide a more upscale fare.... but ... not going back.

This is one of my new favorite date night/girls night spot! the moody atmosphere, excellent service would be enough but the food..... INCREDIBLE. recommend a dirty martini and the oysters and you can't go wrong with the roast dish! 10/10 recommend!

This cozy bistro recently opened, and the food is exquisite. They vary the menu every day, creatively. True of a bistro, the offerings are straightforward and prepared well. Olivia, the chef owner has a long, skillful background in food preparation. I had pot roast with mashed potatoes, and my wife had a pasta dish with cheese. We had escargot and the best bread I've ever tasted. My wife had a superb red wine and I had an IPA. Both were delicious. Presentation and service are superb and pricing is very reasonable. Little Blue will compete well in the Bishop Arts neighborhood.
