The food here is excellent. I have lived in Taiwan for quite a long time, so my feeling is based on that. People that say the atmosphere could be better? This is very authentic style for this kind of meal. If you ever get a chance to travel to Taiwan or China, you will know that this is normal. The boss is very nice and patient. We had mostly dishes off the menu, but the boss recommended a fish, and it was delicious. We also ordered stir fried cabbage for the kids, which was not on the menu. The menu seems to have a mix of western style dishes, but there are lots of authentic dishes on the menu as well. There was also a menu on the wall that was written in Chinese. If you want good Sichuan food, I would suggest trying mapo tofu, spicy chicken, kung pao chicken, Sichuan boiled fish. If you are adventurous, order my favorites, the black chinese mushrooms (酸辣木耳, and Chinese style tripe (牛肚). 謝謝老闆菜色美味真心推薦給所有人!

My husband and I visited this place many times, especially if we were shopping at the groceries next door. The foods are great and authentic! The service was good. The restaurant is clean and a lots of space. This place is one of our favorites for Chinese food!

Google
Having spent over a month in mainland China, I was able to try many different restaurants, from modest to fancy. The cuisine is generally not suited for vegetarians. Having said that, Little Sichuan in Plano is among the best. The food is ultra flavorful and the owner and staff always accommodate special requests. Been eating here with friends and family for over a decade. They will not disappoint!

Google
Our first time here basing from the reviews it sounded good place to try . Nothing attractive as far as the room ambiance but lots of people eating .we ordered Eggroll for appetizer , fish dish and beans . Servings huge and are good for 4-5 people ! There's only 2 of us ! Eggroll plain cabbage with sweet n sour dip . Too it be careful it can burn your tongue . Fish - used umami sauce , very tasty . I asked for no MSG and they said okay but reading about umami sauce it's loaded with glutamates . But I still ate the fish but avoided the sauce which can trigger my migraine if I ate too much of it. Beans - delicious and addictive. Rice - just fine Dessert - no dessert Price : very reasonable Recommend to all if you wanna try this place .

Google
Pretty good Sichuan restaurants in Plano. Nothing was really great or excellent, but nothing was bad either. It's a reliable place to get some spicy Sichuan food. As this is a Sichuan restaurants I would potentially caution against typical Cantonese Chinese food I generally recommend trying String/Green Beans and Spicy Fish Fillet at Sichuan restaurants as they are staples. Here they were just fine. The Sauteed String Bean wasn't as crunchy or flavorful as it could be but it was still fine. The Fish Fillets weren't fresh fish but you typically only find fresh fish at top tier Sichuan restaurants, and it still tasted good We also had some spicy chicken that was fine. The service was good and our table was clean.

Google
Overall experience is not bad. Only cauliflower is not that fresh. I’ve been to this plaza tons of times but never try this restaurant. We ordered four dishes and they all taste pretty good. bamboo beef is pretty good. Twice cook pork with jalapeños is good as well.

Google
The food in general is good and I think it is very authentic. The server was nice. Food came out quickly and hot. The cold dish “beef tendon in chili oil” is something you must try here.

Google
Feeling Content-Uber Eat delivery The food is delicious! The meal order comes with rice without extra cost. I am happy with my orders! Spicy chicken were well seasoned! And taro with pork rib, its sauce was great; the pork rib was almost melting in your mouth beside the bone, well cooked and tasty!

Yelp
Been coming here since 2006 and the food quality and quantity and service is just as consistent then as it is now, which is unheard of. The variety is quite impressive too. Very, very authentic Sichuan cuisine.

Jeff J.

Yelp
Big fan of Sichuan cuisine, and try it in almost every city I visit. Been here several times, and it doesn't disappoint. The Chengdu Dumplings are delicious. So flavorful, so good. I almost want to take the dumpling sauce home in a jar. Also a big fan of the Dan Dan Noodles. Just enough spice, and the peanuts balance it very well. Service is always super fast and friendly. Whenever we go for lunch, there are always people, but the space still remains quiet for a good conversation.

Yelp
Ordered only the mapo tofu and it was too notch; just like the one I had years ago and the best ever in nyc. Perfection!

Yelp
This is my new (it seems like it's been around for a while) go-to spot for sichuan in the DFW area. It's located to the right of Jusgo supermarket and I don't how I just found out about this place. It's got a fairly large seating space and appears to be BYOB. They've got a HUGE menu with tons of items on there. And then they have a separate menu with all the good good with photos. What we've gotten: - A few of the fish dishes are quite tasty. Fish + tofu or water-boiled fish are winners - The beef/pork dishes with peppers are pretty different as well. The peppers appear to be chopped up shishito peppers, which is something I haven't experienced before but complements the dishes well. The beef chunks are also super tender. - If you're feeling adventurous, the fried intestine dishes are also pretty delicious Waitstaff is nice and there are definitely a few regulars that come by. Worth going to and trying all the dishes out!

Yelp
Always love coming here for good sichuan food. Located next to Jusgo Grocery story. I got the: - eggplant with spicy garlic sauce: this is another classic, love it, and cooked to perfection - hand shredded chicken w/ spicy sesame vinaigrette: this is a cold dish, the sauce compliments this dish very well (4/5) - shredded pork w/ duck sauce (not pictured): this is always a must for me when I go to Sichuan restaurant. Delicious (5/5)

Boyang G.

Yelp
The dishes were overly salty, losing the authentic spicy, numbing, and aromatic flavors characteristic of Sichuan cuisine.

Prakash R.

Yelp
Authentic Sichuan cuisine.....hope you like it as much as we did. Even vegetarian dishes are excellent.
google avatar

Benz J.

Yelp
One of the best Sichuan foods in DFW area. Whole fish with spicy pork is also good. All these pictures are our always must have on our table. Excellent services from Jean, she is running everywhere from cashier to server. We love restaurant decorations and Chinese news on TV, they also have separate section with big group.
google avatar

Chandni G.

Yelp
Chicken Serrano , double cooked pork, Napa cabbage, eggplant dish with rice was amazing. Service was okay and fast.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
I went here because I heard their Dan Dan noodles were really good. They were yummy but not my favorite. The water tasted a little odd to me. I haven't found my favorite Dan Dan noodles in the U. S. Vancouver still has my favorite place for them. We ordered the spicy wontons and eggplants. The spicy wontons were okay, the filling wasn't my favorite. The eggplant was also not my favorite but it was flavorful. I always love the rice at Chinese restaurants but kinda bummed if that was my favorite dish. The area is really cool and I hope I can try the other places too. The staff were nice.
google avatar

Samantha C.

Yelp
The restaurant interior is very mom/pop/hole in the wall. It is not trendy, but the food is delicious and the service was great. We ordered 3 dishes, our regular Sichuan chicken and dan Dan noodles, and string beans. We were both very hungry that night, and we finished each dish with no take away! I would order all 3 items again in a heartbeat!
google avatar

Rohinton K.

Yelp
Good Value. Try the favorite Fish fillets with cabbage and onion soup. Fish is flounder. Portions large enough for a second helping later. Service is slow. Spring rolls mostly cabbage.
google avatar

Yelp
I have found the flavor profile suited for my palate. Sichuan cuisine brings the flavorful, saucy heat vs. a dry, numbing heat when something is too spicy. These are the items we ordered and my review for each: Boiled Fish with Napa Cabbage and Sautéed Spinach - the best chili oil fish I have had at any Chinese restaurant. This is a large portion so well worth the money. Pork Intestines and Blood Cake - the pork seemed to have been braised for hours so it is tender, succulent, and juicy. Orange Chicken - not a fan of this dish since it was really sweet (I did not order it). Do not eat the orange rinds!! Sautéed String Beans - decent but not the best in town. Bamboo Shoots - one of the best spicy bamboo shoots as it is delicate and delightful. Spare Ribs and Taro - we had to take this dish to-go because it still hadn't arrived by the time we were done with dinner. However, it was delicious and hearty. The taro gave me a sense of American meat and potatoes. I already plan to go back soon to try some other dishes that caught my eyes. I dig the idea of pictured menus as it helps with my selection.

Yelp
Food was all very delicious! The hot and spicy chicken was crispy and so spicy and amazing! I think that one is addictive. The Chengdu dumplings were also amazing. Excellent service as well.

Yelp
place is a solid 4 stars if you like Sichuan spicy food. There are many different type of spicy (hello wasabi! hello normal spicy!) then there's Sichuan spicy. Sichuan spicy is different because it's peppercorn spicy. Could numb your mouth a bit. This place is authentic to the core, so don't order any Chinese American food here. If you want sweet sour pork/ chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, sesame chicken, run away! this place isn't for you, I don't think. Price is reasonable and portion sizes are big, they fill you up. Ordered shrimp black mushroom and tofu, hot & spicy chicken (pretty spicy), 水滑牛肉 (snow pea leaves with beef , very tender beef) I like this place, too bad my hubby is at kindergarten level when it comes to spicy food, so I don't know when I will come back.
google avatar

Lisa J.

Yelp
This is one of the best Sichuan places in Plano imo - tasty food, good portions, and reasonable prices. The food has good enough spice and flavor which is important to us because some places have JUST the spice part and no flavor. We always get the eggplant dish, spicy chilled noodles, and the chengdu wontons for appetizers and then either a noodle soup or the spicy chicken dish. Their to-go service is also good - they pack it pretty well and it's not the cheap styrofoam ones that break and spill. We've only eaten in-store twice but the place is clean and tidy. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I went to little Hunan to pick up my food! Oops! I was supposed to be here! Happy mistake because when I looked around the Little Hunan had gone downhill. When they told me they didn't have my order I checked and sure enough it was called into Little Sichuan!!! Happy mistake! This food is scrumptious and not overly "Americanized" I haven't eaten Chinese in some time but, now that I've found Little Sichuan that will change. What I like about the restaurant: Spotless! Nice menu selections Good Flavors nice portions Prices seem a little high but, I'll live with it for the quality Try it you willl like it.

Yelp
Must have caught them on an off day. The food was the worst I have had. Some cold meat I think was chicken chopped up with what looked like bones and cartilage. No idea what was that dish. The other dishes were lacking flavor and seasonings. The Hot and Sour Soup was just hot and thin from ingredients. A lot of money to throw it all out. A Christmas family meal wasted.
google avatar

Glen R.

Yelp
We usually love this place, but last time we went, we just threw the food away. The fried rice was so oily that it leaked all over the place. Like a 1/4" of oil at the bottom of my container, in the bag, in my car, on my kitchen table. It was so gross we were expecting so much better but it was gross.
google avatar

Em J.

Yelp
We frequently come here. It is my favorite restaurant in DFW for Sichuan food. We love the crispy chicken and the sweet eggplant. They have lots of seatings; we never have to worry about waiting. They also have Chinese news or soap operas playing on tv. It is very authentic, and I feel every dish is delicious.

Shanette E.

Yelp
I love eating at this place. I ate lunch amd dinner here this week. The food tastes great every time and is authentic, per one of my Chinese friends. I have eaten a variety of items on the menu and all have tasted great.

Patrick K.

Yelp
Hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. As best as we can tell, it was their beef based soup with vegetables thrown in. Then there was their version of chicken fried rice, which was nothing more than white rice thrown in the wok with the chicken and a few carrot pieces. No soy sauce. No flavor. Just oil, rice and chicken. Disgusting

Joanna W.

Yelp
Would love to say something, but unfortunately, I never received the order or even received notification from the delivery driver.
google avatar

Yelp
The best moo goo gai pan I've ever had and the chinqon dumplings are incredible. Great lunch specials available.

Yelp
My family has been eating at Little Sichuan Cuisine for over 10 years now! We go almost every week, and the owners are always friendly and the quality has been consistent since we first moved to Dallas. If you're looking for delicious and authentic Chinese food, then Little Sichuan is a quality option at reasonable prices. Our heavy rotation: * C13. Hot and spicy chicken (香辣鸡): a Sichuan classic * B6/F7. Beef/fish fillets & Napa cabbage in spicy chili sauce (水煮牛肉/鱼): another Sichuan classic * Fish fillets w chopped chili (剁椒鱼片): This Hunan-style dish isn't on their official menu, but it's one of my favorites because it's a more refreshing type of spicy compared to Sichuan dishes, which are on the heavier side. It comes in a clear broth with veggies inside - so delicious! * P6. Shredded pork w green pepper (青椒肉丝): A nice departure from the classic spiciness of other Sichuan dishes to round out the table. * C7. Diced chicken with crushed peanuts (风味碎米鸡): This one isn't spicy, but still super flavorful and awesome mixed with rice - very kid friendly! A lot of their other dishes are good too, like their dry pot intestines (干锅肥肠) and house special beef noodles (老熊红烧牛肉面). We've tried so many items off their menu over the years and have rarely been disappointed. TL;DR: Authentic, delicious Sichuan food at good prices. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
It's been awhile since I've been back, so glad I did. As usual, friendly and welcoming was their service. Freshly made, piping hot, spicy and tasty dinner. Their "Dan Dan Noodle" is still my favorite in DFW: their sauce, minced pork, bit of chili oil served over a bowl of al dente noodles. Delicious with only a touch of spiciness were their "Eggplant with Garlic Sauce" and "Sichuan Twice-Cooked Pork Belly". Empty it was in their dining room at this point in time. A trickle of takeouts keeps them open. I definitely will come back, sooner rather than later. CHEERS!

Yelp
One of the spiciest Sichuan places that I've been to! Typical Chinese restaurant, with you needing to get the servers attention a bit more enthusiastically than usual. The food was SO SPICY, but the Sichuan flavor was so delicious! We split a bunch of dishes, which had varying levels of numbing spice, but also ordered two non-spicy dishes, the potatoes and green beans. The kung pao chicken was the spiciest dish we had, surprising since it was dry. The pork blood & intestines and the beef tendon were so delicious and well cooked. The Sichuan spice was kind of the same throughout all the meat dishes, so it was good to choose a variety of tendons, intestines, alongside with a lamb, chicken, and fish dish. The restaurant was decently loud as there were a bunch of other Chinese people eating, so nothing too atypical. Very spicy, make sure you prepare if you're going to come here. Heads up, all my families' tummies were kinda rough the next morning though.

Yelp
Casual family style restaurant located next to Jusgo supermarket. Lots of parking out front and great service. Ordered the vegetable flat noodle, hunan chicken, baby bok choy with black mushroom, and fish fillet and napa cabbage with spicy chili sauce. Portions were huge, plenty for four people. We had lot of the fish leftover to take home. All dishes were fresh and tasty.
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
Located between Jusgo supermarket and the food court, this unassuming restaurant is apparently ranked 8th out of the top 100 Chinese restaurants in America! (According to the signage posted outside) -Twice cooked pork -mapo tofu -chengdu dumplings (pork) -Szechuan chicken was spicy and may make your tongue tingle Portions were generous. We were the last ones out at 9:30 but they didn't make us feel rushed at all. They also seem to have a good range of lunch options as well. Come by for some spice!

Chris R.

Yelp
Never knew much about sichuan cuisine, but I'm a fan now. There's definitely spice to watch out for, but it turns out I had been cooking a couple of sichuan dishes for myself without even realizing where they came from. There's a nice, homey atmosphere here, waitstaff very courteous, plenty of regulars (both Asian and non-asian).

Linda W.

Yelp
Worse Chinese food EVER! Fried rice no flavor-was white rice steamed with carrots & peas & passed off as fried rice. Do yourself a favor & save some money - go elsewhere.
google avatar

Reynu S.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places for comfort food. MaPo tofu is one of my favorite foods so I always get it! My dad has been getting the spicy fried chicken with Serrano pepper for ages but he doesn't like Serrano pepper so I made him get the other one this time and he loves it! The service is also exemplary. It's just a quaint, family-owned place. Usually the staff at Chinese restaurants are rude but here they're so kind, welcoming and attentive. It also helped that we arrived at an off hour (4pm). I will be back soon for sure :)

Yelp
Totally loved this place! The food is so good and I'm still eating it the next day. Really impressed with the quality of the food. Some of the best broth I've had in a really long time. Not sure what they do different then any other Asian place I've eaten at. I came back for that 2nd and 3rd visit so that I could REALLY judge the food! It's some of the best Chinese food I've had. I eat a lot of Asian food and this place is authentic! There is nothing fancy about this place. It's extremely simple. The set-up is table and chairs. Majority of the time I'm grateful for the picture menu. Otherwise, I'd really not know what to order. One of the waitresses that works here has great suggestions. Since I don't often have a friend with me that speaks the lingo. Her picks thus far have been great and spot on to my liking! I've yet to have a bad meal, nor do I expect too! Only problem is, is that I can't figure out what I had when it comes time to post the pictures with a caption. The receipts are hand written. Every thing here is well balanced with seasonings. Not to hot nor spicy. You will break a slight sweat, but nothing like many of the other restaurant that cover up with way too much heat. The fish is perfectly cooked. It is fresh, plump, and quite tasty. Looking forward to my next meal here. 2018/60

Yelp
Great food. Brought my Chinese wife here and she loved it. Dallas doesn't have a lot of stuff laces like Houston so it's always great when we find something here.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Delicious and tasty dishes . Service is excellent.. never have to wait. I would recommend it to anyone who love Szechuan food.
google avatar

Sunny Phan M.

Yelp
Clean hood service, Authentic. They have tofu here that's good and I favorite right now is the cucumber salad.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic little restaurant. The spicy clay pot fish soup is unbelievable. We have been here 4 times now and can't get enough of the great soups. They can be very spicy so beware.
google avatar

Yulu H.

Yelp
It is authentic!!! So happy to go to an authentic Sichuan place in Dallas (and happy that I can talk with ppl in the restaurant in dialects). Everything is in a great amount and not pricy at all! Fish (fresh sliced but not fillet) were so fresh and cooked very well. Kidneys were so tender. Though I would love to have each dish be a little more spicy haha. 吃到了椿芽炒蛋真的好惊喜!第一次在美国吃到。腰花超嫩佐料差一点点(不够麻辣),水煮鱼很不错鱼很嫩!

Yelp
This has been my family's go-to restaurants in the Plano area for many years and they have some of the better Sichuan food we've had. Even after so many years, I haven't noticed any significant changes in their service or quality of food. One thing we always get is order #F7 (pictured). I've tried this same dish at other Sichuan restaurants and this restaurant does the best at it. The sauce is thicker and completely envelops all the ingredients perfectly and the cabbage isn't too watery - it is definitely perfectly soaked with the spicy sauce. You should definitely mix the ingredients together so that you can get a wonderful balance of fish, cilantro, and cabbage. It's nice and spicy as well, they definitely do a good job of maintaining the spicy reputation of Sichuan cuisine. Another one of my absolute favorite dishes is order #C7 - Diced Chicken with Crushed Peanuts. I could eat a whole order of this and it's one of the best dishes to pair with rice - it works so perfectly and it's so easy to eat. It's not all that spicy, but they are generous with chilis so it sure does still have some sort of kick. 10/10 recommend this dish. We usually come at around 6:00-6:30, and it's not busy at all during that time. Even if you do have to wait a little bit, they do a good job of maintaining efficient and effective service. Very friendly as well.
google avatar

Olivia Y.

Yelp
Pretty good place to eat at! The portions here are larger than your usual restaurant, and the prices aren't bad. The food was tasty and had a lot of flavor. My favorite dishes were the garlic eggplant, orange chicken, and the pork with snow pea. Overall, it was good and I would come back again.
google avatar

Heidi A.

Yelp
I've never had Sichuan food before so it's hard to compare this to anything. My friend and I shared an order of Chengdu noodles and the Eggplant with garlic sauce. The eggplant was perfectly cooked, however, I thought they'd be a bit more spicy. They were more sweet than I anticipated. Still delicious, just not what I assumed I guess. The Chengdu dumplings were larger than I thought! They were packed with a lot of meat and the sauce they were drizzled in was a nice complement. It is hard to describe the flavor of the dumplings, just give them a try! Yelp didn't steer me wrong. Service was quick and attentive. Lots of parking available and nearby food and grocery make it conveniently located. I'd be interested to try other meat dishes from this restaurant in the future!

Yelp
Best Sichuan food in Dallas! I docked a star because I've definitely had better Sichuan food before, but like I said, this is the best Dallas has to offer. Dan dan noodles: This dish is different in every restaurant I've been to. At Little Sichuan, it has a strong peanut flavor and is also spicy. My boyfriend and I loved these noodles - in fact, we inhaled them. Chengdu dumplings: At first I didn't like the flavor, but it grew on me. By the time I finished them, I was in love with the dish. All the Yelp reviews about it don't lie! Cumin beef: Very spicy! I didn't like how much breading there was on the beef though. Eggplant with garlic sauce: Sweeter than other Sichuan restaurants, which gave it an interesting flavor. I'm not sure I liked the sweetness, but it was overall a solid dish. Ribs: The meat was very tender, but the flavor was so so mild. Considering this is a Sichuan restaurant, the mildness was strange; I didn't like this dish. However, my boyfriend (who doesn't like spicy foods) loved this dish.

Yelp
I was in the mood for some spicy sichuan shrimp so I looked up places around me. Ive been to this shopping center before but only to shop at the market and eat at the food court. The lady who took my order was not very pleasant. She might have been irritated that I was taking so long to decide my Togo order or maybe b/c I wasn't of Asian decent. IDK!!! When I had a question she seemed to get more irritable. Good news is my food was really TASTY!! I ordered the beef w/ sichaun sauce. It was SO spicy and SO delicious!!! Might I add there was plenty of it too. I was able to eat off this 3x. Restaurant smelled a little strange, pretty basic decor and the place was practically empty. Only reason it didn't get 5 s was due to lack of ambiance and below avg service.

Yelp
I almost believe that the firey, peppercorn-heavy Sichuan cuisine does not exist in Dallas. You have no idea how many Dallas Sichuan/Szechuan restaurants I bookmark on Yelp. I even make the effort to drive to each of them and order the same things for the sake of consistency. Finally. FINALLY. I found the most numbing and tongue-tingling food at Little Sichuan. I used to live in NYC where there is one of the largest Chinese community in America, and I used to eat Sichuan food made by Sichuan chefs every day, so I hope that makes my palate... legit, right? Things that Little Sichuan surprises me: - They serve A LOT of red pepper and peppercorn. The flavor is super intense and satisfying! Thank you for not Americanized the classics. - They serve DRY POT! What? I don't have to go to a separate restaurant for dry pot anymore?! - The portion is actually smaller compared to places like Sichuan Folk, Sichuan King, Royal Sichuan, Jeng Chi,... you name it. But the flavor here is much more intense, especially if you go for dishes with a triple chili icon. If you are a desperate Sichuan foodie like me, STOP READING OTHER REVIEWS! JUST COME HERE AND TRY THE FOOD. You won't be desperate anymore.

Minh T.

Yelp
Very solid authentic restaurant! Did take out of several items and they got my beef order wrong, but the switch was good anyway. Overall their dishes are flavorful and well seasoned. The plus - plenty of food per dish for the price point. The place looks quite clean. If you like spicy food, this is the place. Will return to try other items on the menu.

Yelp
In fairness, Im partial to Americanized Asian foods, so understand this is where this review is coming from.... There are A LOT of authentic Asian options, some I wouldn't try. I selected wonton soup (WS), shrimp fried rice (SFR), spring rolls and orange chicken. The WS wasnt that good. The wontons weren't extra thick, but just average in texture and taste; the soup also didn't include onions so I'd pass on that. The SFR came out extra white so I knew immediately it needed more soy sauce and seasonings when it arrived at the table, and after tasting it, I was right. The spring rolls and chicken were good, and the other entree of sea bass and nappa cabbage was alright too. The portions are big so you'll definitely get a togo plate, even if you don't order the whole restaurant like we did, but overall (for my Americanized loving tail), I probably wouldn't return.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out due to Yelp reviews and glad I did. Quick, friendly service and outstanding food. Kung Pao beef had a nice spice kick and plenty of well cooked tender beef. Lunch special included soup ( I had sweet and sour) and the best spring roll. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Authentic Chinese restaurant. Family owned and operated. Good food and friendly service. They have good selection of traditional Chinese food.

Yelp
This is a small Chinese restaurant in an Asian strip mall. Came here as it is very close to work. Had the Hunan chicken lunch, which includes soup, egg roll and rice, for a very friendly price, the food was tasty and worth much more will be back
